Beautiful historical theatre. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have concession so was able to get a drink and a snack. The seats are a bit small and not a lot of space but that was to be expected. Definitely would recommend the movies in concert, was so fun!

Beautiful place, red carpets, mirrors, old stars posters, the decoration is stunning and you feel all the glamour of the jet-set in this gorgeous theatre! a wonderful stage!

The seats are way too small for my liking, and I'm a small framed person! The small seats really impact the viewing experience. I rather we see price hikes by 80% but given 50% bigger space. More selective on customers, better experience (increase customer return rate), and more profit for the owner.

Wonderfully preserved 1920s vaudeville theatre and home to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. The main auditorium seats about 2,670. Owned by the City of Vancouver, it functions as an active multi-use venue with a deep civic history. The Spanish Baroque Revival interior is a welcome change in tone from the contemporary sameness that defines much of Vancouver’s built environment. While not originally conceived as a purpose-built concert hall, careful renovations over the decades — including the addition of an acoustic shell and reflector elements — have given the space a warm, resonant acoustic that serves symphonic music particularly well. The 1983 Smithe Street addition is functional but showing its age; ideally, that entrance will be thoughtfully reimagined soon.

The Orpheum is a beautiful venue. I have always enjoyed watching performances here - the atmosphere and acoustics are terrific. This location is also so well kept despite being one of the oldest venues in Vancouver. I hope they will be able to maintain the orpheum to enjoy for generations to come. :) The staff are also so patient, kind, and courteous; always improves the experience!

Always a treat to visit this gorgeous feast for the eyes historical venue. Very impressed by their concert set-up ... the acoustics were excellent. The ushers were friendly and helpful. The seats were comfy. Always love returning time after time to the Orpheum.
