Ortaya Alaçatı

An absolutely perfect place in every way. The waiters are very kind and attentive. The mezes were some of the best I've ever had. They’ve made excellent use of aromatic flavors.

We went there based on the recommendation of Banana Hotel Alaçatı — and it was such a great decision! We had a glass of La Antre wine, shared a few appetizers, and also tried the grilled yaprak şiş, which was absolutely delicious (I’ll add a photo to this review!). Everything tasted great, and the prices were quite reasonable — especially for a place this nice. The atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A wonderful place to enjoy good food and wine in Alaçatı. Highly recommended!

It’s a really enjoyable place. If you’re planning to order the big appetizer platter, make sure you’re at least 3-4 people—if it’s just two of you, it might be too much. They’ve tried some different flavors with the mezes, but apart from the Circassian chicken, the others tasted pretty standard. We loved the Greek salad. The lokum meat comes in two small pieces, but it was delicious. I had high expectations for the meze platter, and since it didn’t quite meet them, I’m taking off one point. If you’re in Alaçatı and looking for a quality place, I’d recommend it. If you’re going during the busy season, make sure to make a reservation.

Very disappointed. Not only the food was average and overpriced - the staff was rude and they tried to get us to pay for food we didn't order. We were asked to pay a 10% service charge, which is okay, but we were also asked to pay for the appetizers they served us without telling us that they would be included in the bill....so it was 10% service charge + appetizers that cost us another 10%. When we complained to the manager that we had never had to pay for appetizers that we had not ordered in other restaurants, he was very rude and arrogant, saying “maybe you have never been to an expensive restaurant” and later, when he excluded the appetizers from our bill (while acting very angry and irritated), he said “maybe next time you go to a good restaurant, you will know that you have to pay for them”. I have been to 20 countries and visited many good restaurants - this is not one of them. In a good restaurant, the waitress smiles at you, offers you free water, a free set of appetizers, a big plate of bread, and doesn't try to scam you by including a dish you didn't order.

Best place in Alacati! Highly recommended! We went for the tepsi on the menu. Great meze options. Full of flavour and colour!

Surprisingly good food. Some classic mezes with little twists. Main courses are delicious as well. We didn't have the capacity to try their desserts after all we have gobbled in a short amount of time. The location is also very good if you want to experience a busy night in Alaçatı.

We had a family dinner. Before ordering, I clearly mentioned that my child has a severe nut allergy. I was told by the waiter that the dishes on the menu clearly list their ingredients. One of the dishes we ordered was "İçli Köfte." I read the menu in both English and Turkish, and it did not mention any nut ingredients. However, the food contained walnuts, and my child started showing signs of an allergic reaction. Fortunately, we always cary medication and we gave to her immediately. When I spoke to the manager, they said they had noted the allergy to the kitchen but the kitchen had made a mistake. A large establishment like this should be more careful. It shouldn’t be difficult to include a clear note on the menu indicating when a dish contains nut products. This incident could have had far more serious consequences.

Nice open space. Unfortunately because even the “inside” had a top that opened people were allowed to smoke which ruined the experience a bit. But the food was excellent bit pricey. I didnt have any drinks but they were $15USD. The liver and the steak filet were excellent and perfectly cooked.
