Oru

It’s our first time coming to Oru to celebrate our engagement anniversary, and everything was amazing! The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. We ordered a little bit of everything - appetizers, drinks, cold dishes, nigiri’s and sashimi. The fish was fresh and everything was prepared well. We definitely enjoyed our evening with them.

Another fantastic concept by the folks who did Kira and Neo; we got last minute reservations at Oru this evening and everything was beyond amazing. I think the photos speak for themselves; but from the service to the sushi and the care and preparation that goes into every part of each dish - Oru and the chef’s attention to detail is incredible. We will absolutely be back. Thank y’all so much for choosing a spot in the heights, which has been home to me for so long. Cheers

Another great concept by Comma Hospitality. The food was exceptional and you can't go wrong with anything you order. Dessert is a must, personally my favorite part of the meal. Would highly recommend a visit to Oru for an amazing experience.

World class sushi from an incredible team. Everything we had was superb. The dry aged fish is served over beautifully seasoned rice. Standout dishes were the trout roe service, tuna crunchy rice and maguro donburi

My new favorite restaurant in Houston! The restaurant is stunning and service was 10/10. Everything we ordered was so good. My favorites were the kanpachi crudo and otoro sashimi. I can’t wait to come back!

Ambiance, food, and service were all exceptional. We loved everything we ordered and can’t recommend dining here enough!

Phenomenal experience! Great food and atmosphere. I highly recommend the smoked Otoro and masaba sashimi, as well as the coconut sorbet
