A mind blowing journey through the flavors of northern Vietnam, every dish is a discover, every bite a wonderment. It offers modern takes and twists on traditional Vietnam cuisine, and the result is amazing. Ingredients quality, balance of the flavours, astonishing taste. The staff is super efficient, never invasive, always ready. Nhi spoiled us during all the time, answered all our questions and never stopped smiling, she made perfect our already perfect dinner. This is the restaurant you need to back to, It's a place you cannot miss, they change the menu every three months, and I'll back here next time in Saigon. For sure one of the best restaurant I was in Vietnam. And not only in Vietnam.

Highly recommended! we had a culinary journey through northern vietnamese cuisine. Service was impeccable. Nhi paid close attention to us, providing very warm and friendly service for the entire night. An was an expert and super knowledgeable at introducing the wine and sake pairing and it was delightful to get to try vietnamese sake Had a lovely chat with founders Chris and France to understand their philosophy and craft. Their modern take on traditional Vietnamese dishes, showcased through a thoughtfully crafted 14-course tasting menu, highlights the diverse flavors of the region. The warm ambiance perfectly complements the meal, creating a memorable dining atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Food, service, and experience were all fantastic. The menu was extremely well thought out and consisted of a wide variety of dishes. They also had a passport to explain of the dishes which was very well designed. Food was great. Their kombucha pairing was also superb. Would definitely want to visit again in the future.

The Vietnamese menu is absolutely fantastic, offering a chance to try all the famous dishes from north to south. Each dish comes with a brief introduction that provides cultural background, enriching the overall dining experience. The dishes complement each other perfectly and are presented in a creative and visually appealing way. The waitstaff, Tri and Nhi, were professional and kind. (There was another staff member—possibly the manager—whose name I can’t recall, but I truly appreciate her help in securing a last-minute reservation.) Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable dining experience.

Best fine dining experience I’ve had so far! Our servant NHI was super attentive. She never gave us chance to fill up the tea and explained every dishes and the story behind it. It’s so worthy to dine in and got the knowledges about the famous Vietnamese dishes. The owner and the staffs are so kind and gave us a little cake to celebrate our anniversary here. In the end the owner told us the reason they opened the restaurant and gave us some tea as gifts. What a great experience. Everyone can speak good English here and very attentive. Best place to go for fine dining!

Definitely an easy, highly recommended fine dining tasting menu to savour the elevated Northern Vietnamese delicacies! Ambience is just perfect, table setup feels intimate and screams “help yourself at home”, and to top it off with an exceptional service from Chi, whom served my table throughout with high professionalism and attentiveness. Exceptional service. Food is just amazing, zing, zing! We tried some local vietnamese food a few days before but the gamy flavours just get in my way to enjoy them. But, it is very different at Oryz. The balance of the flavours are all on point, a remarkable 14 course journey to savour flavours that I will carry with me on my way back home. The texture complexity and flavour intensification just made my dining an unforgettable one. The owner approached us towards the end of our journey, and she was very enthusiastic in bringing Asian twist of fine dining to Vietnam. Keep up the great quality and service! :) Definitely a good place to recommend for a good dining night when you are around the town.

Exceptional execution of a cool concept - We had the Vietnamese menu that showcased famous dishes from around the country. It was as if we just traveled the whole country in 1 meal! All the main dishes were seasoned to perfection, and delicately showcased essence of each corresponding signature dish. The focus on the use of spice and condiments also elevated and enhanced the overall dining experience. We would have loved the desserts to be even more flavorful to compliment the boldness of the entrees while the kombucha pairing to be on a lighter side; But otherwise everything was perfect and we would definitely come visit again. Highly recommend and we reckon Oryz Saigon a must-visit in Ho Chi Minh City :) Being a new restaurant with only 15months of experience, this restaurant has so much potential! Keep up the good work!
