Oscar Rose Park

The staff are always friendly! The place is very clean and a great place for social interaction with activities, classes, lunch, crafts, cards,movies and dances. I love my ceramics class and planning on going to scrapbook classes Monday and Wednesdays.

Nice clean outdoors place to enjoy walking, running or entertaining children. The park has YMCA and hosts baseball and water park events in the summer. Safe place for families. Usually has a great breeze too. Well maintained/ clean by the city of Abilene....good job Abilene. Thanks.

Nice big park. Good sized playground for various ages.

Many kids throughout abilene enjoy coming to this park, it's nice and quiet, peaceful. To bad there's always somebody out there to destroy with their own Graffiti.

Great park! The skate park could use some clean and repairing but overall its a good park.

Adventure Cove is a great place to take the whole family. They have a refreshment stand, 3 big slides, Lazy River and kids area thats shallow on 1 end and 4 ft on opposite end. Plenty of chairs, huge umbrellas to keep you in the shade. Not allowed to bring food or drinks in. Adult price is 7.00 which is great, don't have to go broke to take the kids for a fun day.

A good park with plenty of open space. There is a playground and a skate park here as well. A creek does run through the West side of the park. So, it's something to be aware of with kids. There is also an outdoor amphitheatre near the playground and tennis courts on the East side of the property. There is a lot to do here and worth the visit.

Visited this park while in town. Large park with nice play area and a paid water park.

Really bad park, very run down. Tennis people are very rude especially the head guy Chris would not recommend going there

Looking for a relaxing time? I know I am. Oscar Rose Park on 7th and Barrow is where I like to go when I take a long lunch or just want to walk the path for a bit. Picnic tables set up and on several weekends there's families having events there. Oh and for the younger crowd there is a skate boarding area.

My favorite park of Abilene so far. There are two sets of play ground equipment. ..the smaller of the two has a spongy type flooring that's softer for little ones...there's also a couple sets of swings and a set of baby swings...a skate park..a basketball goal. .a volleyball pit and restrooms and coke machines....I like the sidewalk paths that go around the park...makes for a good cool down time after the kiddos have been running. .plus the kiddos like to see what yhey can see..prairie dogs, squirrels, birds..I'm sure I've missed something but this park is definitely worth checking out :-)
