Oseyo Angel

They sell something that is not easy to be found in other Asian supermarkets like prawn roll and frozen squid, which the taste we love it a lot! The smoked duck as well as taro pancake in the freezer section are also our favourites!

I absolutely love shopping at this Asian grocery store! The variety of products is amazing they always have everything I need, I especially want to give a HUGE shout out to Emma! Every single time I go there, she is incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. She always helps me find what I’m looking for, and makes the whole shopping experience so pleasant. Her positive attitude and genuine friendliness really stand out and keep me coming back. Thank you, Emma, for being so wonderful!

Had a great experience, nice little store with a good range of products which contain not only Korean, but also from other countries. Good range of fresh products as well. Staff were particularly helpful with finding certain products for recipes, especially the young man with glasses and hat, but generally very helpful staff and it's always fun to interact with them. It can feel a little small and cramped during the rush hour, but the store operates just fine during these times. Will come and visit again!

Oseyo has quickly become our favorite destination for exploring Korean cuisine and culture, and we make a point of visiting every week to discover new items. Our go-to location is the one at Angel though it’s a bit on the small side, it’s impressively stocked with all the essentials and specialties we could ask for. The staff at Oseyo are always welcoming and helpful, making the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering the variety and authenticity of the products available. One section I’m eager to explore further is their frozen food aisle, I’ve got my eye on trying their frozen fish sometime soon. It’s reassuring to know that even in a compact space, Oseyo manages to offer a comprehensive range of Korean delicacies. A delightful surprise on our recent visit was discovering their selection of Squid Game themed items. Naturally, we couldn’t resist picking some up and heading straight home to try them out. The gonggi set was particularly popular, challenging, fun, and a fantastic way to encourage kids (and adults!) to take a break from electronics and engage in more traditional play. For anyone passionate about Asian cuisine or simply curious about Korean food and culture, Oseyo is a must-visit. It’s not just a shopping trip it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a new world of flavors and experiences.

Shop is nice and clean with ease of walking around. Shop is fully stocked up and has a good wide range of items that can be found in other Asian stores but here the prices are better . The shop does feel abit empty as there is only one boy with tattoos at the till. He was fast and efficient while scanning and processing payment made things easy. Where are the other staff? I would definitely recommend this branch if you’re a local to Angel or around central, not too busy and can easily do shopping fast.

fantastic Korean grocery store with a great selection of fresh produce, snacks, and hard-to-find specialty items. clean, well-organized, and stocked with authentic products that are perfect for home cooking. Definitely five starts because it can feel a bit cramped during busy hours but staff operate just fine even during these times. Overall it’s a reliable spot I’m always happy to shop

I would like to share a review about Franco from Oseyo Angel. Every time I visit, I see him working incredibly hard and staying focused, even when it’s extremely busy. He consistently brings a positive attitude to the workplace and treats customers with kindness and respect 🫡 He’s is a truly great member of staff. He is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everyone has a great experience. It’s clear that he takes pride in his work, and his dedication does not go unnoticed. Oseyo Angel is lucky to have such a hardworking and caring team member making the shopping experience absolutely great! Will always come to this location for this reason.!!

This is my first time coming to Oseyo Angel and there was no security as other branches do. I was surprised to see the event that had happened today with one of the staff and kids, I had asked the staff at the till what was happening and was told the kids tried to steal. I believe that the boy that was handling the situation did a good job as he was not letting the kids come back into the store despite them pushing him away, the staff member was still letting customers in and out. I hope both the till staff and the staff that handled the situation are okay. Other than that situation I was able to do my shopping and find all the items needed and still get great customer service at the till 👍
