"When: Daily, 5-7pm The Happy Hour at this Thai restaurant on the Embarcadero is all about the oysters—$1.50 oysters, from 5-7pm every day, to be exact. If that’s not enough to make you stop doomscrolling on your phone and get here, also consider this: the special menu includes $7 cocktails, $5 beers, and $7-$9 small plates that feature everything from basil pesto fries and calamari to chicken wings." - julia chen 1, lani conway, ricky rodriguez

The 13 Best Restaurants Near The Embarcadero & Ferry Building

"Osha Thai is pretty large and has a patio overlooking the plaza and Ferry Building. They make reliably great food, with everything from pad see ew and duck curry to noodle soups like khao soi, and it’s an ideal spot for groups or a quick fuel up before or after a stroll on the waterfront. You can also stop here for a few really good cocktails, or daily Happy Hour (5-7pm) with $1.50 oysters, $5 beers, and $7-$9 appetizers." - lani conway

I like the atmosphere and the service of the staff. Great food experience except for the Fried Calamari it was not good and i think its a frozen calamari. But i love the papaya salad it was perfect and the hot vegetable tofu with shiitake mushroom was delicious. Its my 2nd time here and will comeback next time ❤️🙂

Google
Good environment, food was too sweet for me, and the Omelette had too much rice in it. Doesn’t feel super authentic but makes sense since East Asian customers are not the main ones who come here. Good for European and American taste.

Google
What a find! This restaurant is conveniently located next to the Hyatt hotel and the Ferry building. It’s often very busy and booked so making a reservation might be necessary. The atmosphere is lively and vibrant because of the amount of people, and the service is great. Very friendly. The menu is expansive and has all the favorites for a Thai restaurant. Going here with friends or coworkers is a must!

Google
Excellent flavor and presentation. Was told Drunken noodles were spicy and they were not at all, had to ask for chili oil, the the overall flavor was incredible though. Server seemed rushed and overwhelmed.

Google
A charming little Thai spot with a cozy ambiance. The Thai iced tea was excellent--perfectly balanced in flavor and sweetness. However, the curry fell a bit short for me--bland and lacking the depth of flavor I've had elsewhere. While the experience was decent, it didn't leave a lasting impression, so I probably wouldn't return.

Food was very tasty. Service was very nice and the food came out pretty quickly! They also had Valentine's decorations which were very cute. Always a great time when I come eat here.

Been at Osha thai several times, it’s located in an immaculate location with picturesque views of the Ferry Building and the bay beyond. The restaurant is in the ground level of Embarcadero adjacent to Hyatt. Portion size are huge and my khao soi was as expected, the chicken was slightly chewy to my liking. An average dinning experience overall, decent quality food.

Bucktooth Beaver

Google
The absolute best Thai Restaurant in the Bay Area in my personal opinion! I loved their indoor decor, with a lot of beautiful pink flowers, and a very vibrant set of decorations! Their tables were comfy and cozy, and after a long morning of exploring San Francisco. Their staff was also really nice, and seated us at a very fast pace! They kept refilling our waters, and asking if we wanted anything else! For their food options I feel like they had a great variety ranging from popular items such as Pad Thai to Green Curry, all tasted super delicious. I especially enjoyed their beef fried rice, and their Beef Thai Curry! A great place, with a reasonable price! However, if you are looking for their hot sauce, it is a bit on the mild side. As their hot sauce tasted a lot sweeter compared to spicy, but I feel like it depends completely on the person. Hope this helped!

Yelp
Perfect place to grab a team lunch/dinner on a weeknight. Super easy to make a reservation through Yelp and the environment is nice. Everything I've tried here has been good including the thai tea, angel wings, papaya salad, chicken pad thai and chicken pad see yew! Pad See Yew noodles were super flavorful, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful. Overall this place is pretty good!

Yelp
- : $$$ (~$60-70 pp) *** : They have happy hours 5-7 pm weekdays, when the cocktails are for 7$!! - : Thai - : the restaurant itself is beautiful! Decorated with flowers, we loved the interior decor. It was a bit loud on a Friday night, but great for group hangouts!! - Food review: 1. (9/10): This was our absolute favorite! The sweetness was just perfect! The tea flavor went great with martini. 2. (8/10): Lychee flavor was distinct, it could have been more smoother. 3. (7/10): This was average, nothing great, but not bad. It was salmon and avocado wrapped inside a shell. 4. (9.5/10): This was fantastic! Its like indian papri chat (crispy wonton with tuna, the flavors blended so well, highly recommend this dish)! 5. d (6.5/10): This was so underwhelming especially given the price (31$). If this was priced around 15$, it would have been ok. There were 3 scallops, some mangoes and papaya. This was severely overpriced in our opinion and average at best. 6. (6/10): We always like pineapple fried rice from any average thai restaurant. This was almost double the price of fried rice in any thai restaurant and the taste was average. The chicken was chewy and we didn't get any flavor of pineapple. Overall, we enjoyed the drinks and appetizers, but were disappointed with the main course. We know a lot of thai restaurants in bay area where the food is much much better and the price is half of what we paid here. We loved the service and the presentation! WE WILL NOT BE BACK (Overall rating: 7/10) ! Recommended for: HAPPY HOUR, Appetizers and drinks are good, decoration inside is beautiful!!

Yelp
Beautiful inside and the food was delicious! Khao Soi was flavorful and the short rib was tender and fell off the bone. Careful of the decoration on top of the Thai Tea-tini. I breathed a bit out of my nose while sipping and it flew all over the table.

Yelp
I'd been having a taste for Thai food and OSHA Thai did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff were very welcoming. The pad Thai was flavorful with chicken and tofu; however the chicken was a little dry. The pineapple fried rice was tasty despite the raisins (I hate raisins) and the pineapple chunks could be a little smaller. The prices are exactly what you'd expect for the SF touristy location. All in all, I left full and satisfied.

Yelp
I havent been in here in a couple of years. While the food is always excellent, and it is a lovely space, it can be a bit on the pricy side. But I made the grand discovery that they have a fabulous happy hour! I asked to be seated at the bar. The staff was wonderful and attentive. Excellent friendly service! House wine for $7. It was a pretty buttery chard and it was delightful. I ordered the crispy pork belly from the happy hour food menu. It was soooooo good!! And as someone on a Keto (low carb) diet right now, I was thrilled! I also ordered a bowl of Tom Yum Soup with chicken. Suuuuuuper good! And before I headed to the ferry, I had a $7 happy hour shot of hornitos tequila. Everything was lovely! This is going to be a weekly pit stop after work for me from now on. It was wonderful! Thank you to the staff for the terrific service!

Yelp
Visited recently with my family and the resturaunt was gorgeous! Beautiful pink flowers all around the interior, and we sat in a booth surrounded by a window, showing off the beautiful ferry building and Bay. The staf were friendly, although a bit slow to bring our check at the end of the meal. The food came fast and was delicious. They had many vegetarian options, and the drinks were very good. The meal was pricey, but that's to be expected for the location.

Yelp
Osha Thai in the Embarcadero has an elegant, high-end atmosphere and offers a menu inspired by Thai cuisine. Coming in for a special event, I sampled the cream cheese-filled Dungeness Crab Rangoon; Thai Papaya Salad (shredded papaya, green beans, and cherry tomatoes in lime dressing); steamed vegetarian dumplings in coconut curry sauce; Pineapple Fried Rice; Pad Thai; Country Chicken (breaded chicken strips in a honey-ginger sauce); Pumpkin Curry with tofu and vegetables; and Volcanic Beef (tender chunks of flank steak in smoked chili "lava sauce" with breaded onions). Everything was delicious, though my personal favorites were the papaya salad, the pumpkin curry, and the Volcanic beef. Overall, this place had a great vibe, and though much of the food wasn't super authentic, it was delicious nonetheless!

Yelp
Updating this to 3 stars because although the food is good, I can't say that it was worth 30$ for drunken noodles after tax and tip. I get that the location is probably expensive, so I'd recommend this for a corporate meal. But wouldn't come back here if I had to pay lol. I came here for a company lunch and was pleasantly surprised that the serving size was on the larger side. I had leftovers of my khao soi, which I enjoyed in the restaurant! The curry was well flavored and the short ribs were decadent! The service was great and the restaurant was really clean and bright. I would come back!

Yelp
Osha Thai Review (San Francisco) My wife, sister, and brother-in-law visited OSHA Thai after attending the Pro-Life Walk, and the experience was largely positive. The restaurant's **ambiance** is a standout--sleek, modern, and beautifully designed, with a calming atmosphere that made our meal feel special. The **food quality was good overall**. We enjoyed the noodles, which were flavorful and perfectly cooked, with a satisfying mix of textures. However, the **Penang curry**, a dish I consider essential to Thai cuisine, was slightly sweeter than I prefer. While still creamy and aromatic, it lacked the bold, savory-spicy depth I associate with traditional Penang curry. That said, the **staff was excellent**--attentive, friendly, and eager to ensure we had a great experience. Their hospitality, combined with the restaurant's **stunning indoor environment and prime location**, elevates Osha Thai as a spot worth revisiting. I'm rounding up to **4 stars** (instead of 3.5) to reflect the inviting ambiance and strong service. If you're craving Thai food in a chic setting and don't mind a touch of sweetness in your curry, OSHA Thai is a solid choice!

Yelp
Decor of this place was really nice! Kinda fancy meets Instagram friendly. Thai iced tea had non dairy options which we appreciate. Food portions were solid, taste also good. They had vegetarian options!

Yelp
You pay a little more for the location and the ambience compared to my neighborhood Thai place. But the location is great, right on Embarcadero Plaza. And so is the ambiance: chandeliers, views of the ferry building, and flowering bougainvilleas. But I'm more about liking the food, and Osha really delivers there too. The green papaya salad is a must. We've enjoyed the curries especially the green curry with chicken. But basil chicken is also solid. And we almost always get a noodles dish, like drunken noodles or pad Thai. We've really enjoyed everything we've ordered there. Great for a lunch, Sunday brunch, or dinner before the punchline or other financial district stops.

Yelp
On cold SF nights, Osha Thai will hit the spot. I love coming into the city during the holidays to see the decorations so stopped by after an event at the Embarcadero. Tom Yum Soup with chicken and the Lemongrass Chilean Seabass served in a lava stone bowl with rice warmed us right up, leaving us just enough room for mango sticky rice. When the decor is as great as the food, I can't ask for anything more except to come back for brunch in the future.

Yelp
Food isn't as good as it use to be in the late 90s - too many great Thai places in SF that taste better and cost less

Yelp
It's been years since I last ate here. The food improved a lot. Thai iced tea, very generous, served in an old fashioned milk bottle. Loved it! The Pork salad had a great larb like flavor. Good kick to it. The Volcanic beef with onion rings was a favorite. Eggplant and tofu, very flavorful and appetizing. Pad Thai portions were huge, lots to take home. Seafood curry was decent but the curry saved the dish. Our server Annie was very attentive and courteous. It was a great lunch for all of us. Nice ambience and very roomy.

Yelp
Decent spot for Thai food around Embarcadero. Tom yum soup was filling and flavorful. The crispy flour strips added a nice texture to the dish. I would have preferred them to use rice noodles instead of egg noodles, but that didn't make too much of a difference. The corn fritters was served with Thai sweet chili sauce, worth the try but I probably wouldn't order it again. The summer rolls (not sure if there's a different version in Thai cuisine, but they just tasted like Vietnamese spring rolls) were pretty basic. It's cut into small pieces, and most pieces had shrimp but 1-2 didn't. Our noodles took forever (everyone at our table and the table next to us got their food, besides my friends and I who ordered the Tom yum noodles). They didn't bring it out until the second time we asked them about it, and we waited for a pretty long time. We didn't make a big deal about it at all. When the bill came out, we noticed they added a 10% discount to the entire bill, which we appreciated!

Yelp
Been coming here for almost a year now. What got me hooked was the edamame. Super delicious. The happy hour is unreal fresh oyster for a steal. The happy hour menu gets people in the door but the main dishes such as Volcanic Beef keeps people coming back like if it was Crack. The drinken noodles are savory and plentiful. The portion sizes are shareable. The staff is amazing once your a regular you are like family. I came here like just any other day after losing my home and job. The staff made me feel cared after. I don't feel like a customer here .. I feel like a family guest... honestly the best experience I could ask for from my daily visit from the daily staff. I do have to shout out Todd, thank you for your kinds positive words. I KNOW I will be back again with a smile. I will miss the best dessert fried banana with coconut ice cream

Yelp
The vibes r immaculate and the venue is so pretty. Refills on cocktails too (Happy Hour - $7 a drink) Overall nothing disappointed and everything was pretty good! The tuna tower had tuna, avocado, mango, and a bit of a sweet chili sauce with wonton chips that was quite yummy so that's def a must order! Pad thai was solid and drinks were v yummy. The clay pot tho wasn't like a crispy dish? it was more so just a vessel to keep it warm? I think for drinks and starters, it would be a great time but idk if I'd come for a full meal? They do have all day brunch food that I heard was pretty good so maybe that's the way to go? Do keep in mind that it is on the pricier side and dishes do take a while to come out (went on a Thursday night) but the service otherwise was great.

Yelp
The large dining space feels festive, and around Christmas there were plenty of holiday decorations. All the tables were packed when we came in for a Tuesday afternoon lunch. A few of the things I wasn't as keen on -- lettuce wrap chicken was flavored heavily with lemongrass and fish sauce, so it could use a little bit more sweet or citrus notes. The dishes were also on the pricier side. Most dishes with a heavy sauce component felt just a tad on the sweet side, even for fusion Thai food. Still, the food is really tasty and there's a ton of unique dishes to choose from besides the classic pineapple fried rice and pad thai. I'd recommend trying the lamb chops, smoked duck, and paella, which can probably serve 3-4! Everything is also presented pretty much exactly it they appear on the menu.

Yelp
I had the chance to try the pad see ew chicken from Osha Thai, located at 4 Embarcadero Center, and it was a satisfying experience. The dish was served fresh, with tender chicken, perfectly cooked flat rice noodles, and a good balance of sweetness and savoriness in the sauce. The broccoli added a nice crunch, and the dish was garnished with just the right amount of seasoning to enhance the flavors without overpowering them. The portion size was generous, making it a filling and worthwhile meal. The presentation was appealing even in a takeout container, showcasing Osha Thai's attention to detail. The restaurant is conveniently located in the Embarcadero area, making it a great spot for a quick, flavorful meal during a busy day. If you're craving Thai food with solid flavors and consistent quality, Osha Thai is worth a visit. It's a reliable option for a comforting classic like pad see ew.

Yelp
Met up for dinner at around 6 pm and my friend made a reservation the day of as the restaurant can become pretty packed. The interior is very aesthetic with flowers on the walls and gold adornments. The plating of all the dishes were very beautiful and matched the vibes of the restaurant. Pad See Ew - The noodles as well as vegetables were cooked nicely and the chicken was soft but a little dry. The dish itself didn't have too much flavor where I was missing more savoriness and richness. Honey Ginger Chicken - The sweetness and balanced ginger flavor came through for the sauce and the chicken was soft, the best when it was fresh out of the pot we had to open. Good flavor but nothing too stand out overall with the rice and egg on the side. The dishes themselves were a good portion size but I feel the taste didn't match the prices we paid for them which was around 50 dollars for the two items.

Yelp
Osha Thai offers super classy decor, setting high expectations from the moment you walk in. Unfortunately, the service and food did not live up to the ambiance. Our server was rushing us to order before we even sat down and then disappeared, forcing us to search for them to place our order. The Pad See Ew was disappointingly flavorless, and the spring rolls had an overwhelmingly earthy taste that wasn't enjoyable. Despite the beautiful decor, the poor service and lackluster food make it hard to recommend.
google avatar

Jessie X.

Yelp
This place was gorgeous - the walls were lined with flowers; the interior was very spacious and suitable for large groups and business/team dinners. Location is pretty nice as well, as it's next to the Ferry Building and waterfront. Food was more disappointing. I got the Chicken Pad Thai and both the chicken and noodles for the Pad Thai were pretty bland. Presentation was neat and drinks were cute though
google avatar

Kong L.

Yelp
Osha Thai is a solid 3 for me. When we arrived, there were so many tables open but made us sit at the bar, which I didn't mind. The food was mediocre for the fine dining price tag. The mix drinks were just okay, nothing special; just cool names. Overall, okay customer service...nothing special.
google avatar

Yelp
Interior is so pretty and aesthetic! Service was fairly quick since it was kind of busy. Food was delicious, I loved the concept of the calamari it came as a whole and you have to cut it!! It came with two dipping sauces and they were amazing. The pineapple fried rice is a little more on the wet side wasn't dry. I wish it was a little drier tho since it felt so soft. It came with a garlicky sauce too. Overall it's delicious for its taste!
google avatar

Yelp
Great happy hour and the flavors are there, but expect a high price tag because of the location and atmosphere. The service was good, the decor was nice, and the bathrooms were clean! Most importantly, the food was flavorful and presented well. If you're a Thai food lover and you're in this area, it's an easy choice if you're looking for a nice place to dine. I think this is an ideal place for after-work happy hour.

Yelp
It's been a VERY long time since I've stopped by an Osha Thai location. My last visit was at the 3rd Street location many, many years ago so it was a completely new experience or me stopping by the Embarcadero Center location. The interior of this spot is dressed up like other modern, hip Thai restaurants (think Farmhouse Thai, etc). Staff here is attentive and the kitchen churns out food very quickly. Looking around the restaurant, I would say most -- if not all, large parties were there for corporate dinners. For my meal, I started things off with an espresso martini and for my main, I ordered the Bankok roti -- a short-rib curry dish with a generous side of roti. The short-rib in the curry was very tender, and I liked the firmness of the eggplant in the dish. The roti was super crispy (and not oily) and was the perfect dipping vessel for the curry. I wish the curry was a tad spicer, but there is a platter of table condiments you can use to spice things up to your liking. If I'm looking for a fancy Thai spot -- or some place with Instagram-worthy food, Osha will do. Not the best place for an intimate date because the restaurant is insanely loud inside though. For two diners, expect to pay over $100 for apps, drinks, and mains.

Yelp
This place was very good. I'm very surprised it didn't get a higher rating. Our favorite was the chicken pot pie. It's such a weird thing to have at a Thai restaurant but it was soo delicious. It was hot and flaky and the mushrooms were a great touch. They also had really good pad see ew. I definitely will want to come back to try the food again when I'm in the area!

Yelp
I've been to Osha Thai in San Francisco multiple times with friends, family, and colleagues, and it's consistently a great experience! The food is always delicious, with vibrant flavors that keep us coming back. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for any occasion, and the service is consistently attentive and friendly. Whether it's a casual meal with friends or a special family gathering, Osha Thai never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Thai food in the city!

Yelp
Came here for a Father's Day lunch. I made reservations close to a week prior online. We were seated right away when we arrived. The negative parts of our experience are that it took quite a while for us to get water and order after being seated and then the entrees took a while after we finished our appetizer. Our appetizer was the angel wings - highly recommend. It seemed like they were double fried so they had a fantastic cronch. The sauce was great too - sweet + slightly tangy but not too sweet. For our entrees, we shared the spicy eggplant (pretty good, not super spicy), pineapple fried rice (recommended by server; tasty), pad thai (really good to me but my bar for pad thai is probably kind of low), yellow curry (it was just ok to me - I have had better and worse yellow curry dishes elsewhere), and, finally, the volcanic beef (pretty good with great flavor but I wish it were a little more moist). Overall I enjoyed my time here and the food I tried.

Yelp
Really good quality Thai food, but expect the prices to be more expensive than usual. This location is very aesthetic and beautiful inside. Great ambiance and friendly customer service. Has a more high-end feel to it - being located next to The Ferry Building. My favorite dish here is the Pork Belly Noodles! This is a specialty item on their brunch menu. Imagine Pad Thai, but elevated with bok choy, crispy pork, and a runny egg. Soooo delicious! Flavored perfectly. Highly recommended. The Pad See Eaw is also pretty good here. Not too salty or oily. Just right. I like that they give a lot of noodles and don't skimp on the ingredients. I do wish it was slightly sweeter though. Their cocktail menu is pretty impressive. They are generous with the alochol ratio. Pretty strong! But the drinks are still very enjoyable and pretty. Very fun for a meal out with friends.

Yelp
Came here for lunch on a Saturday at 12PM since that's when they open and I was surprised to see that there were a lot of other people also there that had reservations. I don't think the reservations were necessary because there was plenty of seating, but it could be worth making a reservation if you're looking to sit outside. As a party of 3, we were able to get patio seating without much of a wait, we just had to wait for them to finish setting up the patio. ~~Service: Good. The servers were pretty attentive to take our order, but it seems like they were scattered because I had to ask for hot sauce 3x. I asked for it when I placed my order and they mentioned that they would put it on the side when the food was delivered, but when I noticed it wasn't there I asked the person that delivered my food, and after another 10 minutes I had to hail another server to ask for the hot sauce. Sadly the hot sauce wasn't as spicy as I had hoped it would be (it was chili flakes and sambal. ~~Best Part: The food was actually really good. I didn't have high hopes for the place, but all of the food was pretty good. We ordered the papaya salad, pumpkin curry, Osha's Tom Yum Noodles Soup, and the Khao Soi beef short ribs. To my surprise the pumpkin curry had some spice to it. ~~Worst Part: Needing to ask 3x for sauces. ~~Tips: If you're going to order Osha's Tom Yum Noodles I'd probably recommend choosing the egg noodle even though it's supposed to be rice noodles. They use the "pho" noodles instead of the wider ones and my broth was gone within 3 minutes from being soaked into the noodles. ~~Return: Yes

Yelp
I don't get out to the FiDi district often anymore. It's nice to see some long-time staples are still around. Osha Thai is one of them. I met up with some former colleagues for drinks before dinner here. The restaurant itself looks just as I remembered, a well-lighted large dining room with many Thai accented decor. After our first round of drinks and some apps were placed, a colleague suggested we just stay for dinner as well. The restaurant wasn't too busy so our food and drinks came out pretty fast. Nothing was phenomenal and I've had better Thai food for cheaper at other restaurants. The thing about Osha is it is a good place to get together for large groups and they have a vast drink menu. Parking is easy in the parking garages at Embarcadero. Evening parking price with validation for up to four hours after 5 p.m. is $2. Crying tiger steak - comes with pandan sticky rice Spicy Thai basil - served with a fried egg and rice Spicy eggplant - served with tofu and rice Thai fried rice Pad Thai Yellow curry chicken Crispy vegetable rolls Gyoza (from happy hour menu) Fried calamari (from happy hour menu) - extremely chewy calamari, almost inedible Corn fritter Crispy pork belly Set 1 happy hour platter - fresh oysters, angel wings, fried calamari and pesto french fries

Yelp

Yelp
Osha Thai is truly epic! The atmosphere is relaxing, the decor is beautiful, and the staff is both attentive and friendly. Most importantly, the food is absolutely INCREDIBLE. We recently hosted an anniversary dinner here with a group of 21 guests, and the service was nothing short of AMAZING. Everyone was impressed by the location and couldn't stop raving about how delicious the meal was. My personal recommendations? The Kobe Steak, Lalita's Fried Chicken, and, of course, a classic yellow curry. If you're in the area, you have to check this place out!

Yelp
They have the best papaya salad so far that is not too salty or too sour. I asked them for mild, but it's more like Asian mild ( American spicy). I can't handle spicy, but the papaya salad was so good and I finished the whole thing. The Tomyum noodle is a bit on the sweet side, tastes like pad thai. The Thai fried rice is very good, not too salty or oily. The beef is tender. The place is beautiful, cozy and warm atmosphere.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience at Osha for dinner. We were seated immediately and the service was good and consistent the entire meal. The ambiance and decor are so lovely, it's really a beautiful restaurant. The Thai Tea-tini with the cold foam was delicious! Just the right amount of sweetness. The Tom yum soup was piping hot with great flavor. The spicy basil chicken was SO good! The chili sauce was great to kick the heat up a notch. Overall a great experience with amazing food and drinks.

Yelp
3.5 stars! A group of friends and I made last minute reservations for dinner at Osha Thai and had a good time. We ordered Tom Yum, Angel Wings, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, Pad See You, Thai Fried Rice, and Panang Curry Beef. All of the dishes were appetizing and shareable; their Papaya Salad, Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were the most memorable to me. Overall, an upscale Thai restaurant with nice atmosphere and decorations. Prices are a bit higher than your average Thai restaurant, but in general the food was tasty and service was standard.

Yelp
This is a nice Thai place in the Embarcadero. Sunday lunch was pretty empty so we enjoyed an empty restaurant, which was nicely decorated for Chinese new years. We ordered a couple of appetizers including the veg egg rolls and the crab Rangoon. Apps came out hot and nicely fried. I got the pumpkin curry with tofu for my main dish. The curry was tasty but could've used some more rice to accompany it. Overall food was good. A bit pricey but that's SF prices for you. Service was great!

Yelp
Had Osha Thai with a friend after work and was very impressed. Despite most things being closed early, Osha Thai stays open for great happy hour and dinner options. One thing that caught my eye was that they have all day brunch! I definitely want to try it one day. We ordered the pad thai, yellow curry, and thai tea lava cake. Pad thai was pretty standard, I liked that it was saucy. The yellow curry I wish had a little more protein and less potatoes. I also wish they provided more rice given how much curry is included. The thai tea lava cake is extremely decadent. Very sweet so I would recommend sharing. Ambiance is well decorated but definitely loud especially when there are corporate events. The outside looks like a nice option to sit especially with the recent warm weather. It may be loud though because of the Padel court nearby. The service was good, no complaints. I did have to remind my waiter about my thai tea drink but everything else was excellent. You can split checks evenly and theres not much waiting as they process the check at your table.

Yelp
It's been a tradition for our run club to come here after running the SF Marathon. It's just a short walk from the finish line. The menu is abundant with your usual Thai fair and it is always so full of flavor (and not toned down for those who can't handle spices or flavorful food). The service is friendly and definitely feels a bit "nicer" than your hole-in-the-wall Thai places. The menu has something for everyone. In our most recent visit, there was even a fusion brunch! I don't think anything on there was vegan friendly but it was certainly an impressively creative fusion menu which included puff pastry with curry. The portions are generous but the prices were a bit high. That's to be expected given the location I guess? At least they validate parking!

Yelp
I'm actually shocked to see this place have low ratings, I found it to be a lovely place! The inside was so well decorated, our server was really kind and helpful. We ordered the panag curry (came with rice) as well as a Thai tea mocktail. The Thai tea mocktail was probably one of the best I've ever had and the Panag Curry was so creamy and rich with flavor!! I wish they gave a little more rice and it's a bit in the expensive side but still so good!

Yelp
Inside looks very pretty with flowers and a bar inside. For the drinks we got the phuket colada (planttation blanco rum, blue curacao, pineapple, coconut cream, lime ) & Tom -Kha on ice ( Gin, whisky, lemongrass, coconut cream + lime). For food I got the pumpkin curry and country chicken. First off I'm glad I chose the pumpkin curry bc it was sooo good and different. As for the country chicken, it was okay and not as great as I expected. It's the same chicken you could get at panda express. For the side, we also got an appetizer called Beef Wasabi Rolls. The beef personally was just too chewy and not easy to eat, but other than that it was delicious. It also came with a salad w/dressing underneath and be warned the wasabi dressing will have a huge kick. The serivce for the food was quick too and overall the place was clean.

Yelp
Location is what this Osha outpost has going for it. Outdoor seating was very much welcomed during the pandemic and today it's still a nice spot for drinks on a sunny afternoon. Prefer the outdoors to the larger indoor dining room which can feel a little stuffy to me. Happy hour runs daily 5-7pm with drink specials like $5 beers and a variety of food specials. Thought the HH oysters were very tiny and in general, we enjoyed the food off the regular menu vs. the HH specials. Osha has closed a couple of their other SF locations but they've perhaps prioritized this OG spot with it's prime Embarcadero location - great for a quick happy hour.

Yelp
A really pretty and spacious restaurant. It feels welcoming and the staff were quick and punctual. Tho I did not go during a rush hour. The food was absolutely amazing. Rich and refreshing. We ordered the coconut dumpling and the corn fritters, I personally loved the dumpling more. We also ordered a Tom Khao soup which might my new favourite soup. For main course we had the yellow curry and pineapple fried rice, both of which delivered really well. The only negatives were the price and most importantly what I mentioned above is almost everything in the menu on the vegetarian side. They can make some more of the rice options vegetarian but when it comes to curries, the yellow curry is the only option. Similarly for the appetisers and the soup PS:- Not gonna complain about the soup tho

Yelp
Was staying at the hotel right next-door and was recommended this restaurant we're looking for somewhere nearby that had good food. We had a big group of about seven people who are all excited to get delicious Thai food. Upon walking in the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the restaurant was it's truly made to be photographed. I was nervous cause sometimes restaurants that look pretty something to be desired when it comes to food, but luckily that was not at all the case with our experience. We did a bunch of different things serve family style, so we could try a wide variety of different dishes on the menu. Here's everything we got in order of what I liked best: Dungeness Crab rangoon - made with real crab! So good. Heartier and more fresh tasting than I've ever had before. CHIENG-MAI LETTUCE WRAP aka chicken larb salad. Bright and tasty! PANANG CURRY BEEF - I wanna take a bath in this sauce. SPICY EGGPLANT - surprisingly delicious!! LALITA'S FRIED CHICKEN & PAPAYA SALAD - some people said the chicken lacked seasoning but I thought it was super crispy and flavorful and the entire dish went really well together as a whole. DRUNKEN NOODLES good but nothing super memorable. SMOKED DUCK - duck just isn't my thing personally! I also got the PURPLE PATTAYA cocktail made with gin and butterfly pea flower and it was so yummy and pretty! The food came out super fast and our server was so impressive and kind.

Yelp
I went for lunch and had a big party and they were able to accommodate us pretty well. I got the steak and eggs on the lunch menu and wow it was so good! Exactly what i wanted with the garlic fried rice and steak cooked exactly how I ordered it. What really made me enjoy this place was the decorations and ambiance. I loved the way they decorated the inside with flowers and the chandelier at the entrance was beautiful!
