"A long night out on Clematis tends to end at O’Shea’s. The Irish pub is the epicenter of midnight debauchery in West Palm, and it’s reliably packed until 4am on weekends. O’Shea’s is a dive bar in our hearts, but it’s also a full and proper Irish pub. This is where restaurant workers take shots after placating to Palm Beach’s finest deranged residents. The squeals of 23-year-olds in tank tops can be heard down the street. But if you come earlier, you’ll see strangers at the bar offer each other Guinness-fueled therapy sessions over plates of shepherd's pie. They have a great poker night on Sundays, a patio out back, and it’s the best spot in West Palm to watch a soccer match. video credit: Virginia Otazo video credit: Virginia Otazo" - Virginia Otazo

Just had a delightful dining experience in the best spot in WPB. Will, my bartender, was captivating. His welcoming smile, witty sense of humor, and overwhelming sexiness filled my heart with joy as much as my delicious Shepards pie filled my stomach with love. I'll be back just to be with him.

Google
Awful. First the female bartender closed me out without even asking me if I wanted to keep my tab open. Then when she handed me the bill, I was like no, I wanted to keep it open and she was like yeah well just reopen it with your next drink or whatever. Wow, awesome customer service. Then I spent 30 minutes watching others getting a drink when I was just trying to tab out. They passed me over and over again for men buying drinks for women. Then one of the bartender had a girl behind the bar that was a patron and I just watched him talking to her while I was trying to leave. I've been a bartender and I would have been fired for what they did tonight. Mind you, I single handedly brought over 25 people there this night because they had decent reviews. Don't go here if you're a woman, you're not going to be treated like a person.

Tried the burger for the first time. It is no joke. Very juicy and flavorful. Service was excellent and food came out pretty fast. They play sports if you need somewhere to watch em.

Atmosphere is great. Very friendly , for a group of 25 people, the service was very good. High 5 to lupita and Niall.

Google
Classic Irish Pub... Yet cool vibe like many other bars on the 500 block. Really appreciate the staff for being kind and awesome. So you get the best of both worlds... Pride and luck of the Irish; plus a vibey sports bar. One can watch all games (especially Futball-soccer ganes). There's an outside bar and patio. Inside a multi-room experience with plenty of tables. The menu is great... From the Sheppard's pie to the burgers and even the 🍰 desserts, you can't do wrong. A great selection of beers and 🥃 whiskeys. So have a Guinness and kick back with friends to watch the game (on the big screen) or play rack of pool. Family friendly and you bring your dog 🐶, or like me your 🐈 cats. More than just a bar, a proper local watering hole. 🤤 A community of people for sure.

Google
Loved the mix of clientele, fun atmosphere where "All are welcome." The service was great! I owe Lupita a better tip, she went above and beyond, stopped in twice B4 leaving West Palm Beach to give a better tip, my mistake, she wasn't working, my apology, next visit. The Buffalo wings were very good! Look forward to visiting again soon.

Google
Stopped by for a quick meal and beverages before we rode in a parade here last weekend. It was slightly busy when we arrived, got super busy as time went on. Service was fast, at the bar and outside where we sat; 6 of us outside. Even when it got crazy busy the guy serving outside was keeping everyone stocked on food and drinks. Bartenders were quick and friendly. The beers were ice cold, and the French fries with gravy are great for sharing.

Google
Awesome spot if you're looking for a "locals" Irish pub. Priced right, super dog friendly and fantastic outdoor patio. Bartenders are all fabulous, and remember you (and your drinks) by name! Fave spot for a beer and bites in West Palm!

Yelp
We only tried the onion rings they were good at first it took very long to come out and then they told us they were making a second batch bc some from our first fell. The 2nd batch came out quickly. People i go with love their guinness beer. Would go again for some food. TV screen is a good size and the back is open with lots of seating.

Joseph J.

Yelp
Service was amazing the food was reasonably priced. The hard part was finding parking.

Yelp
Stumbled on this place after our visit to the Palm Beach Zoo. It was mid afternoon on a weekday and we headed to Clematis Street, place was pretty empty. We ended up sitting out back, the back patio is fabulous, very big, has its own bar and probably quite a crowd in the evenings. The bartender inside was quite accommodating, we ordered at the indoor bar and the bartender brought out our food, he was short staffed so he was doing double duty. Two of our party got the pot pie and loved it, see the pic! Definitely recommend this place if you are in WPB!

Sabrina P.

Yelp
Great place, staff is very friendly food's pretty good. Central location. It's a great place to just hang out and relax with friends. It has two sides with a pool table on one side and there's usually always a few boots open for groups.

Nathan T.

Yelp
Great service decent food cool ambiance I'd go back wish they had darts for the dart boards

Heather M.

Yelp
Great bar- friendly service, fair prices, fun band, what more can you ask for?? Still an excellent place after all these years!

Barbara J.

Yelp
Lively plays with an indoor bar and outdoor patio. Lots of place to hang around. Affordable drinks and affordable food. Typical bar food and drinks are fun to hang out.

Jack P.

Yelp
A great find! Good food, cold beer, friendly folks, staff and patrons. Bring your critters! Park in the garage just down the way for $1 an hour ( first 2 hours just a buck). Everything Irish, but no mushy peas! Great vibe. Good fun...and, the bar tenders know how to pour a Guinness! A pint, $6. Half a sandwich and a bowl of soup...yummy! Fish and chips, yes! Slainte!

Kaleigh W.

Yelp
Love O'Sheas! Great authentic Irish bar, been coming here for 7 years and it's probably the only bar on Clematis Street that has stayed consistently awesome and hasn't gone down the hill. They have a large outdoor area out back with it's own bar and plenty of seating, a nice place to watch a game or bring your dog when it's good weather. We normally hang inside and play pool ($1 per game). Bartenders are always fast and friendly, it seems like they have a good work environment with each other. Prices are solid and haven't changed much, they carry many top shelf, seltzer, local, and draft options. They have your typical bar fare too, like sandwiches, burgers, and some Irish staples. O'Sheas' frequently hosts events, from trivia nights to all-you-can-drink mimosa Sundays. And the live music is actually really awesome--always a great selection of talented bands and singers, and (most importantly) it's never so loud that you can't hear the person next to you. It's probably why they have kept up such a large, returning customer base--they genuinely think about the patrons visiting their bar and continuously deliver great service. We love you O'Sheas, never change!

Richie A.

Yelp
Always a fun time at O'Shea's! Good food, drink (free poker Sundays and Mondays). Great staff and nice atmosphere.

Ameer H.

Yelp
Nice pub, definitely a good spot for lunch. Bartenders and super friendly. Fries could use a little salt though. Great place.

Tony S.

Yelp
One of the only Irish bars in area. Great prices and good bar/Irish food. Wings are fire!

Lukasz K.

Yelp
Came down to visit for St. Patty's Day. Had a fun time. The menu was limited, but the beer was cold.

Mark O.

Yelp
Couple things O'Sheas is first and foremost a pub. It's not necessarily known for its food. However you would be pleasantly surprised. It's a great place to watch Premier League matches. There's a ton of regulars. The staff is amazing and have been there awhile. It's a cool little family style vibe. The food is really the hidden gem. You can't go wrong with the majority of the items. Wings are amazing and huge. The Turkey club, Fish n Chips, Meatloaf, all their soups, and the traditional Irish fare. Enjoy!

Luis L.

Yelp
First time I've tried an Irish Breakfast and it was was absolutely delicious. Beans, black pudding, a banger, eggs, mushroom tomatoes and bacon with a loaf of bread and butter. The staff is really cool and attentive. The overall vibe is really cool like a pub should be!

Sean K.

Yelp
Great burgers, great chicken pot pie, delicious beer cheese fries... Friendly staff :)

Jimmy P.

Yelp
Pros The Guinness was good. Cons The food was a step up from a lunchable. My corned beef Reuben had 2 deli thin slices of corned beef. The entire contents of the Rueben was thinner than just one of the bread slices. Maybe 70% bread to 30% everything else ratio The service was nonexistent. No napkins, no silverware, no waiter, empty condiment bottles. They should be embarrassed to even offer food.

Daisey L.

Yelp
One of the best pubs around. Great food, drinks and a killer soccer pub. Also, if soup is your thing... their daily soup specials are not to be missed. I love love the staff.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Was visiting WPB for a concert this weekend and stumbled upon O'Sheas - could not have asked for a better bar. Came here to watch the Ireland x South Africa rugby final and great craic all around. Great drink prices and amazing music playing on the outdoor patio. A must-visit when here!

David Z.

Yelp
Standard typical Irish bar food with no extra touch or fínese to put it over an average rating. For drinks, go outside to the patio and thank me later, amazing ambiance.

Karina V.

Yelp
Great bar great food and great service Alan is the best bartender ever drinks are perfect EVERYTIME

Yelp
First let me say that I've been here before and ate outside and it was pretty good. Tonight's experience changed all that for me. Decided to eat inside because it was really warm out, standing at the reception desk and no one is there, no one is visible and no one is acknowledging that we're waiting. The bar was pretty busy and bartenders seemed to be hustling to help customers, but my dining companion and I were completely invisible. After asking a few people in O'Shea's shirts for help, someone finally seated us. It was so warm in the restaurant, I realized too late that as warm as it was outside, that may be preferable to inside. We decided to stay inside thinking if we moved we may never eat. 20 minutes of waiting and someone finally came to take an order. Served two glasses of Diet Coke that was completely flat and so gross. I asked a passing by bartender why the Diet Coke was flat only to be told it wasn't Coke, but some no brand cola and the replacements she gave were still flat. The food was very good. The shepherd's pie was huge and tasty and the fried mushrooms were beer battered and tasty, but the overall experience was ruined by the oppressive heat in the restaurant, the crappy no frills flat soda and the really bad service. I always try to be understanding, especially considering restaurants are trying to rebound from the past years of problems, but I firmly believe a restaurant this bad should really just close rather then be this bad. If you want to just go to a bar to drink and not eat, I still wouldn't go there. It's no fun drinking or eating while sweat is dripping off your head.

Ofer H.

Yelp
Been there to watch a premier league soccer game . The ambiance was great and it gave kind of feeling of UK . Staff was pleasant and service was good.

Madison R.

Yelp
This is not a safe bar for women. Got two drinks for here and my friend got sick. Staff told her to go the BACK ALLEY or go throw up OUTSIDE in the STREETS. This was after the staff member told us she was watching us between the cracks of the stall and called us "fucking idiots" when I asked her to just let my friend continue to throw up in the toilet. Manager didn't care and rushed my friend out with a bucket while she was still sick. The other manager, Laura, basically told me they didn't believe me about this encounter. Your staff saw a sick 22 year old and tried to make her leave as quickly as possible off the premises to avoid responsibility. Seriously, the back alley of Clematis? That's not even a safe option and your staff should be aware of that. Enjoy a picture of the staff member and manager holding the door open as they forced my friend to puke in the sink.

Yelp
It is my first time in a Irish pub restaurant. Here is my review: Parking: On the street. Service: Typical downtown Irish pub kind of service. Food quality: It is an Irish restaurant but they also have American food. We visited this place because I had never tried Irish food before. In my opinion, the food tastes a bit insipid. But it was something different so it's OK for me. We ordered corned beef and cabbage (lean corned beef with mashed potatoes and cabbage. It is very homemade) and iris lamb stew (Irish tradition featuring tender lamb, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, and fresh herbs in a savory stew, served with freshly baked bread. It is like a soup and it was good). Additionally, my boyfriend ordered a car bomb (it is a cocktail and you have to drop a bomb shot of Irish cream and whiskey into a glass of stout). Price: Normal. We ordered 2 courses and 2 beers for $33 plus tips. Atmosphere: The bar looks and smells like an old tavern. I wasn't sure about eating at this restaurant but in the end, I found it quite pleasant. We went for lunch and it was quiet. Recommendation: If it's your first time at an Irish restaurant, try local beer and car bombs.

Yelp
Food was great. Music good and ambiance fabulous, however the service was by far the worst I have encountered in my life. Waited 45 minutes for the bartender to make a titos cran soda, he clearly was not in the mood! Never checked in with us or ask about the food we received. After taking my titos soda order, we waited for 30 minutes for it to be done, at which point I had to look for him on the other side of the bar and remind him that we are waiting for it. He noded and 5 minutes later we had the drink. Been working over 13 years in hospitality, currently managing a bar at a country club so I know when someone just doesn't wanna do the work! Great place, awful service.

Daisey L.

Yelp
One of the best pubs around. Great food, drinks and a killer soccer pub. Also, if soup is your thing... their daily soup specials are not to be missed.

GREG G.

Yelp
Well I only wanted a Guinness night cap. Came into bar sat down and was ignored for 10 minutes. People got served who came in after me. One bar tender who would be schooled by Tapper from bar rescue for how she handled herself! The bar countertop was filthy, but thank god I had my mask on to walk to bar, stupid is stupid does. 2 stars was for the Guinness. I will not be going back anytime soon. To many better places to go.

Michael M.

Yelp
Great food, service, prices and atmosphere! The real deal. Lunch menu is such a bargain.

Jordan A.

Yelp
Matt N., Niall, David thanks for your incredible service!!! It has been such a treat being here everything was awesome

Mark L.

Yelp
This place is the best! Great food, great drinks. And a pool table and porch. Can't be beat

Brandon E.

Yelp
Fun place; Looks just like an Irish bar should, with an outside courtyard that is dog friendly. Staff is super friendly, fun, and attentive. I love to take my dog here, have a couple of beers, and chill.

Kimberly P.

Yelp
Average. Not expensive. Halfway decent beer selection but no sours or stouts (other than Guinness). One persons chicken sandwich and fries were cold, another persons fries were cold. Both were replaced quickly. Fried food was good.

Steve S.

Yelp
St. Patrick's Day. What can you say. Great Corned Beef and cabbage. Fantastic waitresses. Good music and an all around fun time. Nobody in our group cared for the Shepard's pie. The potatoe soup was blan

Jay O.

Yelp
I was here on a Sunday, hoping to watch some football. Bartender was very friendly but they had very limited viewing options....just one game on a couple different TVs. Beer selection was very weak for a "pub". My chicken sandwich/sub was serviceable, but forgettable. Definitely had an old, dingy, Irish pub feel...which certainly has its place. It I return, it would be for soccer.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Great to see this place open right now. Dealing with finding a place to eat with Covid going on is getting harder. I stopped in here for an always reliable pint of Guinness and wasn't disappointed. I enjoyed outside and ordered the loaded chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was good and fries were the perfect addition. I'll be back here again.

Victoria V.

Yelp
Allen, a proper gentlemen, and even better bartender, has made the most exquisite vodka tonic splash of cran in all of palm beach county. Thank you Allen. WILL BE RETURNING!!!!!

Derek O.

Yelp
Just stopped in after getting off a flight and Gabby was super attentive and helpful. She was able to recommend a few places in the area for my wife and I visit while we are on vacation. I was very impressed with her and how she greeted all of the locals and still kept a smile on her face even with the steady flow of new people coming up to the bar. The food was good. Fish and chips passed the Northeast test Irish breakfast as well.

Mike P.

Yelp
Great bar to spend time at. The Shephard's pie was amazing and was great with a pint of Guinness.

Saundra M.

Yelp
Great food and nice staff and service. Will be going back there again some day. BLT sandwich with Irish bacon and a lot of lettuce and tomato.

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite spot !! I love to just hang out with friends and have good conversation here. Everybody who works is very genuine and really welcoming.

Josh L.

Yelp
I waited 3 years to give you this review because I was reminded of it on this day. 3 years ago I was down in West Palm beach for a glorious bachelor party. 3 years ago our crew had the worst gotdamn Bloody Mary's that have ever graced our natty light lips on this side of the Mississippi River. I've never been blue balled by several ounces of tomato juice in my life, but there's a first for everything. The pics of the Bloody Mary's on your website had so much detail that even Bob Ross would have been jealous of it. Instead of receiving such a highly touted drink, we were greeted with a Godfather-Part-3-isque Bloody Mary, and any one with half a brain knows The Godfather Part 3 is one of the worst movies. I hope you found your way back to making the "best Bloody Mary on this side of the Mississippi River" these last three years. I hope it's Godfather Part 2 worthy now.

Tim H.

Yelp
Great drinks, horrendous food. Flavorless Burger served on a stale bun with old, cold, steak fries. Corn beef and cabbage was dreadful. Corn beef was thin sliced lunch meat. Mashed potatoes tasted like they sat for a few days in the steam table. Cabbage was a wedge of undercooked blandness. Guinness was delicious and the server was attentive. I'll be back for a pint and nothing more.

Brian Z.

Yelp
This place is amazing, it feels like they know you and the staff it great. I had the lunch special burger and it was unbelievable. For being a less than 5 min walk from brightline train just found me new hangout. Tony Ann is my bartender, super nice and friendly. Also good looking. The burger was cooked medium with now problem, got a lunch coupon and also Irish music playing all the time. Great time would definitely recommend it to everyone who wants a pint and good food.

Diana H.

Yelp
Epitome of what an Irish bar should be. Irish beer, great Irish food, pool table, dark wood tables, friendly staff and the place even smells of beer! Perfect!

Gabriel M.

Yelp
I have never written a review on yelp but I was so disappointed when I got this food home I felt obligated. For $50 we got 2 orders of corned beef and cabage and 2 orders of potato soup. The corned beef and cabage was just a quarter head of cabage, a few slices of unseasoned corned beef and mashed potatoes that tasted like they were made with sour milk. SO DISAPPOINTED. Never going back.

Mandy G.

Yelp
A West Palm Beach staple, O'Shea's is an anchor business on the west side (best side) of clematis street. O'Shea's is great for good music, better than your usual bar food, a great pour of Guinness, and my favorite patio on all of downtown. Neat the new bright line train station and next door to the infamous Respectables. O'Shea's is a great place to meet up with old and new friends. Daily happy hour specials plus pool table and darts. A must visit while you are downtown. Try the brunch special bloody Mary's that have skewers of treats included in your drink. Shout out to the best bartender Kruma serving up the best drinks.

Rebekah E.

Yelp
2018 Review 59/100 Great pub. If you're looking for a casual no-frills atmosphere with good food and drinks, look no further than O'Shea's. My friends and I used to hang out here all the time when I lived in West Palm Beach. We called it our MacLaren's (How I Met Your Mother reference) because of how often we were there. The inside area isn't huge but they do have a nice patio area around back with a separate bar. My favorite place to be when the weather is nice. Just a cool traditional Irish pub. You can't go wrong.

Andrea H.

Yelp
Had such a great time with my friend who graduated from fireman academy enjoyed our evening with Irish car bombs and the soccer game play on ever television set. Downtown the pub was packed and filled with cheer and enthusiasm. Location is fair- I think it's small for the amount of people who came through Thursday night, we had to scramble for chairs to accommodate our group which was maybe 15 people, and it was fun but a little Inconvenient for our waitress- we felt really bad moving things around to sit ourself. They have two wrap around bar areas a pool table and the TVs are definitely in good areas to watch and listen to whatever is going on. Food was ok, I think it was a little bland but I would eat. For the joy of celebration with friends O shea's did a great job, I'm not one to complain when in good company :)
