Tried the Trail Raiser beer and really enjoyed it. The taproom has plenty of parking and a nice outdoor space to relax with a drink. Great spot to hang out and enjoy good beer.

What a cool vibe at Oskar Blues! It's right on the Brevard Greenway so you can run or bike here and run or bike off your food and drink! Much more than great beer at OBB too! Try the smash burger from the food truck! 😋

Google
Beautiful day today in Brevard, topped off by a very pleasant visit to Oskar Blues. Good beer and an excellent hamburger from the food truck. Nice operation with a wide selection of brews. This is a good spot to hang out with your family and friends.

Google
On a drive to Brevard I was excited to see Oskar Blues had a brewery taproom close by! It’s off the beaten path for sure so I was expecting a little bit bigger space. Don’t get me wrong, it’s big. But I was expecting massive considering how far out it is. There were so many beers available beyond the normal OB offerings and I had two beers that were very good. The normal OB beers are just fine, but the new two were much better than that. There were some games but was hoping for more. My expectation for a big name brewery out in the country means lots of space and lots of games and lots of beers. They did a solid job to meet expectations but not quite a 5. Excited to go back out again in the future

This place is awesome! I’ve been here a couple of times as we have family in Brevard. This is the first time we’ve eaten here, though. Have to say, the ambience slaps. Live bands, sunset, full tables, kids and pups on a warm spring night. Can’t beat it. We had the burgers (you can tell they’re 100% beef), fries and dog bites. All of it was good, quality food albeit of the simple, bar variety. Still with the music and drinks we had quite a nice time. Best hard cider I’ve ever had btw, definitely a win.

Google
The CHUBwagon was a huge hit with our kids again this year. They loved the fries last year. Raved that they were the best fries ever. Repeat experience in 2025. It is hard for me (and for my hubby) to beat a great burger and a flight of tasty brews & HAPPY kiddos!!

Google
Best brewery in Brevard! Love hanging here for a brew or two!

Google
Oskar Blues was the place we chose to hold our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. OMG!! The venue, and service, were off the hook! Meara, the taproom manager, helped us get everything set up. Scheduling, catering, special needs, etc. Not only that, she was pulling the tap handles. Talk about "hands on". The food buffet that was prepared by Christian was incredible. Literally the best Salmon I've had in my life... And I cook. None of our guests had ever had "corn ribs" before and they were a treat. We looked at other venues that were 20x $$$ what we paid and could not come close to the service. I swear, the next time I'm in Brevard, I'm renting the taproom out again and inviting my friends. It was such an experience. Patrick

Yelp
We went during the week in the afternoon. The first thing we noticed is great music by people we hadn't heard of before, so that was cool! They have a great selection of beers and friendly staff. Dog friendly too! If you come here, you have to try the nearby Ecusta Brewing too!
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for a cold brew on a Monday afternoon. The vibe was great they had entertainment and a good crowd. Service was fast! Beer was great! I like IPA's and they have several on tap. I had Dales easy IPA, it has a lower alcohol content which I like. We didn't try the food truck but everything looked good and everyone was enjoying what they had. I can't wait to return!

Yelp
Rating: (3.7/5) Oskar Blues Brewery Taproom has a great local vibe with solid food and fun atmosphere. The on-site food truck, "Chub Wagon," had a good menu with a nice variety to choose from. We tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich on Texas toast and a salad with grilled salmon--both were tasty and hit the spot for a brewery meal. Looking forward to trying the patty melt next time! The service was quick, and the staff were super friendly and really knowledgeable about the beers on tap. We happened to go on trivia night, which was a lot of fun and added to the experience. Loved the outdoor seating area--plenty of space and kid-friendly, which is a plus. Overall, a chill place for good beer, good vibes, and a casual night out. Would come back for the food truck and atmosphere alone!

Yelp
This was an excellent stopover. Managed to see some white squirrels in town before making it over to the brewery. It was a Wednesday around lunch and it was not busy at all. Totally enjoyed the service. Had fun conversing with the bartenders and sampling the many beers. They were all so good. Ended up with some pumpkin to go. Definitely on my list for a return visit

Yelp
Went to Oskar Blues for a beer after a strenuous hike while visiting from Baltimore. I was very surprised to hear live music bu The 81 Drifters. What a treat it was to hang out for an hour or so listening to a great trio and sipping a good beer. Especially enjoyed the tribute to Jungle Book with "I wan'na Be like You" (The Monkey Song) I highly recommend Oskars!

Yelp
I love me a good brewery and I've found another one to add to the list. Oscar Blues was one I had been wanting to check out so I was so happy when I finally got the opportunity. If you're a Dales Pale Ale fan, this is your spot! They had a great selection of other beers as well. They don't serve food, but there was a burger truck there. The bartenders were all super cool and would let you sample the draft beers so you could get a pint of your favorite. They had plenty of searing both covered and outside our group of 8 had no trouble finding a large picnic table to enjoy the live music. Definitely check this place out if you're in Brevard!!
google avatar

Yelp
Large brewery located in Brevard. They have tons of outside seating, covered or in the sun, as well as seating inside if you prefer. They have a variety of beers, ciders, and wines to choose from. They also have a food truck that serves burgers that is there daily. With a large open outdoor concept, it's easy to sit and zone out while enjoying your beer. We found it relaxing, but we're here on a Wednesday while on vacation Bartenders were friendly and knew the beers well, making them able to give good recommendations.

Yelp
Food is food truck. Service was quick & friendly. Great covered patio seating with amazing laid back ambiance! The selection of beverages was amazing. Inside has the quiet & cooler seating option & bathrooms. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
I am in town for a couple of days and brought by Siberian husky with me. This is a very dog friendly brewery. They provide water and bowls. The beer is exceptional. I went in a Saturday night and they had a live band. Fun, easy going atmosphere. Great place to hang out after a day a day of biking riding or hiking.

Yelp
I've been going here for years and it blows my mind how much this place is changed. Send Brevard with a beautiful backdrop, this is a definite great stop. Every time I'm in the area and close. I definitely like to hit the spot up. Is wonderful for a post hike brew. I love they are super dog friendly, and have a huge patio. The bartenders are always ridiculously sweet. Last time we came in here somebody else is upstairs inside because that's where all the merges. He painted the mural and he was super welcoming. I'm a little sad. Nobody uses that space because it's so intentional. I'm sure in the winter things will change. I love the corn hole, and I think the experience would've only been enhanced with live music. I did like the spot a little bit more years ago and it felt more local. Now it's blown up. Also, I'm so sorry but they're seltzer tastes like rubbing alcohol.
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
The food is so we stopped in and ate for 2nd time. Looks like they have live music on Saturday evenings

Yelp
Our first time here and we had a great time for their 30th anniversary. Great music, great friends, and great beer/wine and food. The service was, of course, very nice and on spot. Highly recommended.

Yelp
This brewery is bigger than I thought it would be, which explains how they are able to produce commercial beer as well as several more interesting small batch beers that they offer in the taproom only. Plenty of parking. The outside area includes plenty of covered shared table seating (with some outside heating), as well as individual tables in the sun (many with umbrellas) and shade. We had a couple flights, including Deep Ellum Dallas Blonde Ale (good - crisp), Scotch Ale (very good), regular and barrel-aged Imperial Stout (both very good, although beware the latter has a raisen-like after taste almost like a port) and a Madura Brown English Ale (very good). The Scotch Ale and Brown English Ale made me feel like I was having a pint at a country pub someplace in the UK. We got food from their ChubWagon food truck. The Berk Burger is great for pork lovers: ground pork, bacon and bleu cheese, along with a tasty sauce. The Omega Burger has a good-sized salmon filet, cooked nicely, with a fresh dill mayo sauce. Both were served on brioche buns, which I'm usually not a big fan of, but theirs are really good. Fries are pub-style -- thick cut with some skin left on. They were good, but could have been served hotter and maybe with a little less salt (and I like mine salty, so it takes a lot for me to say that). Service was okay. Good spot to fill up for an afternoon hike (which we did) or relax after one. We'd go back.

Yelp
Love this place, visited 3 times while we were staying in the area. Food trucks are amazing, bar service is good and they had decent live music every time we came.

Yelp
We've been coming to Oskar Blues for more than a decade now. The addition of the bar outside has been a welcome improvement. It is spacious, under roof, with concrete floors to keep it comfortable even on hot days. We come here for several reasons. One is that they are so dog friendly - dedicated water station and plenty of room to stretch out. But the quality of their beers is the main draw. They are a little heavy on ales - but for good reason. Some of the best IPAs, wheat ales, brown ales around. Yesterday Linse and I also enjoyed lager, Pilsner and kolsh. The food truck offers good selections as well, particularly the sandwiches.
google avatar

Jerry S.

Yelp
Really good burgers. Lots of beer on draft. Corn bites are the bomb! Nice atmosphere.
google avatar

Alexis A.

Yelp
Great brewery! Tons of outdoor seating and lots of fans, and shade! There were two good trucks when we were there - we are at the one Oskar Blues owns and it hit the spot. The large fries were more than enough for two people. Beer was on point - we took a 6 pack to go!

Yelp
Cute setup they got going on here! Covered tables, sunny tables, outside games, brewery tours, food truck and an accessible bar. Great stop after or before a hiking excursion! ...but HOLY S*** THE GARDEN BURGER HERE HAD MY SOUL LEAVE MY BODY. Hot! Hot! Hot! But hurt so GOOD. Carolina ghost peppers are no joke and to be honest, I think there was only ONE pepper on it. I recommend trying it out if you enjoy spicy food. Beer here was good too!
google avatar

Yelp
So much fun! We stopped in on a Saturday and it was PACKED. There was a farmers market, and a band so it was utter chaos. Kids everywhere, my cousin even got hit in the face by a flying rock which was pretty crappy. I purchased something at the farmers market and was charged $175 instead of $17 which they did refund my money, but it just added to the chaos lol.. This is my uncle's favorite brewery, and my family comes here all of the time. We came at a bad time, but I would love to come back for live music. It was very dog friendly, and they did have food trucks. The beer was good.

Yelp
This is our go-to Brewery. Great place to take in music on Sat & Sun. Super selection of IPA's. And the staff is wonderful.. Please bring back Death by Coconut..,,,,,,.

Yelp
We were visiting Brevard and came here for lunch. It's such a great spot especially on a beautiful day. As everyone has mentioned the burgers are delicious. The beer and cider choices are spot on.

Yelp
Really enjoyed our visit to this taproom. This is a huge operation and it was cool seeing the inner workings even under construction. Huge outdoor seating area. Great beers and good burgers. We tried a couple beers and they were all great and the food truck had some really good burgers and fries. We had the chub burger and the patty melt cuz I can't pass one up. Definitely recommend stopping in and I would definitely visit again. Also, dog friendly!
google avatar

Yelp
If you're in western North Carolina and this is a must stop. Great beer selection by a great brewery. There should be something for everyone on the menu. Food truck near by and plenty of restrooms and parking. And during the winder months the heaters are on and you stay warm and toasty. Oh, and bring your dogs.
google avatar

Yelp
Kim, my beer tender, was an enthusiastic girl who really represented oscar blues! I thought she owned the place or at least a family member of the owner. She loves her job! Wish her the best!

Yelp
What a fun place to hang out!!! Loved the atmosphere and the beer! The Juicy IPA is phenomenal! Excellent spot when visiting the area.

Yelp
Came here with my entire family a couple of days ago. It was a super hot day so having the shade and the big fan was super nice. The food from the food truck was pretty good! I got a grilled chicken salad and ate some of my finance's French fries. There were three bartenders working at the time and I'll be honest, they weren't as friendly as you would expect bartenders to be. There was one girl with long brown hair in particular that wasn't friendly and paid more attention to her phone. There was another bartender who was male and a teacher that was a bit more friendly. Probably wouldn't come back if it was close by based off of the service. The beer was pretty good. Good selection.
google avatar

Yelp
We visited here for dinner (food trucks) while camping in Brevard and Pisgah for the weekend. The brewery is huge. The beer is great, which is why it's so popular and widespread. There are a lot of places to sit around the dining area and brewery, there is like a 'car-port' where they were playing music and having food trucks. The food was pretty basic. Lots of fried food, the salmon burger was kind of dry, and the brisket was almost all fat. Which is why dropped it down to 4 stars. If we were just going there for a drink, then it's an amazing reprieve.
google avatar

Taylor B.

Yelp
First time I had Dale's Pale Ale was here, and I was very happy with that! They have a nice and diverse menu of beer to fit any pallet, and experimental beers as well! Outdoor area is dog-friendly, and atmosphere is very welcoming!
google avatar

Joy L.

Yelp
Would add a 6th star! Great beer, fantastic food truck, and amazing service. Everyone we met from the food truck, bar tenders, live entertainment ... and other guests - were welcoming and friendly - and we had our 3 energized kids with us. You can order beer outside on the patio, or upstairs in the bar. Outdoors was decorated for the holidays and festive! When you walk inside you can see the beer operation- quite a site for beer lovers! We ordered a burger, salmon burger, hotdog, grilled cheese, and fries (pretty much everything!) The food was well prepared - ordering from the food truck was easy- they let us know how long it would be, when we checked our bag was there! We ate upstairs for a bit, and then went back downstairs. The kids had a great time playing frisbee.

Yelp
I have always enjoyed Oskar Blues beers especially Death by Coconut, so when we were travelling through Brevard, NC we knew we would have to stop. This is a big brewery with a nice outside bar and an upstairs tap room. The day we went there was also a pizza food truck. We visited on a nice fall day, so the outside bar was perfect. You couldn't beat the red leaves on the trees and the beautiful sunset. My husband and son liked the Old Chub and the Ten Fidy. I also liked the Collabbey. There were a lot of picnic tables, so if you have a large group there are plenty of places to sit. Also they had three roof radiant heaters which put out a lot of heat. The only problem is on a windy day these aren't as effective. The upstairs taproom was smaller. There were still several tables as well as seats at the bar. My favorites were the in shell peanuts. Their brewery set up was impressive. They had at least 21 fermenters.
google avatar

Christina W.

Yelp
The selection of beer in this brewery is really amazing. You get a chance to also sample a few before you make a commitment to a pint of something. Their dark beer variety is quite wide, so I was able to find what I was looking for. The brewery was operating outside only when I was there right before Christmas, but the heating lamps were not providing enough heat. It was pretty cold, so after just one pint we headed somewhere warmer. Overall, I can see this would be a great spot in the summer. Also, with food trucks selling food there you get to stay longer!
google avatar

H B.

Yelp
Great brewery, can't wait to come back! They have a host to Bruce, the IPA was definitely my favorite
google avatar

Ed S.

Yelp
Large brewery with decent beer and a food truck with ok burgers. Been there twice for the beer and once for food but the food is just ok. Very unimaginative menu but ok if you want yet another burger. There are better options in the area but it does have a cool vibe. Staff seems like they are too cool to want to wait on you but get the job done.
google avatar

Clay N.

Yelp
Oscar Blues Brewery was a cool stop on our little brewery tour. They carried a large selection of different types brews that will appeal to most people. Instead of an in house kitchen they have their own food truck sitting there to feed your hunger. A small area off to the side of the bar had brewery apparel but unfortunately didn't have my size of shirt that I liked. I tip my hat to these guys since they brew Stache Strong IPA. Proceeds from sales of this beer go towards brain cancer research.
google avatar

Allen C.

Yelp
First, OBB has a fantastic selection of IPAs and DIPAs. They are not doing flights right now with COVID restrictions but you can get half pours. We finished with Death By Coconut. It was a heavy lift but delicious. Second, the covered and outdoor tasting room is so much fun. It is easy to social distance and feel safe. They have space heaters if it is cool. Third, there is a fun food truck with all the appropriate beer drinking accoutrements. Fourth, clean port-a-potties are pleasant and plentiful for your Beer-Anti-Diuretic Hormone suppression. Fifth, the cash register only takes plastic and no cash. Sixth, the brewery is easily accessed from the Brevard Hike/Bike trail and paddling on the French Broad River. So, it is easy to have an active day, have a low carbon foot print and share some calorie-neutral quality beer time with friends/family! Perfect 6-pack

Yelp
Visited Asheville for a weekend getaway and we planned a trip to hike the triple falls. A local from Asheville recommended to us to go try out Oskar Blues Brewery if we were willing to take a detour. We were glad we visited Oskar blues! The atmosphere of the place was just fantastic! All staffs were friendly and chill. The food was fantastic! The fries were great and so were the burgers! If you like sour beer, the guava rodeo is the one to try. The Oskar lagers is great too! Overall, if you get the chance and time to visit the place, I highly recommend it! It was worth detour after our hike!

Christopher V.

Yelp
Stopped here for a beer and lunch after sliding rock and waterfalls and it hit the spot. Great ambiance, incredible beer selection and food truck "slapped".
google avatar

Karen S.

Yelp
This is based off our COVID experience. We haven't done very much socially since March- we tend to be very cautious and have only been to a handful of places over the last few months where we have felt safe. Oskar Blues was one of those safe places. It's obvious they have been following stringent sanitization measures, and their incredible staff has been following strict face covering protocol, socially distanced seating, time limits on tables, occupancy limits and various other safety measures during this unprecedented time. We saw a hostess handle a potentially difficult mask situation (two in fact) wi Th tact and grace. Highly recommend if you need to get out during these strange times.
google avatar

Lita L.

Yelp
Covid update: the Taproom is closed, and only the outdoor patio bar is open. That might be OK for warmer weather, but I had no idea the Taproom was closed, and it was 44 degrees outside with 10mph gusts, drinking an ice cold Death by Coconut Porter. The heaters overhead were too high to be effective, so sitting at a table in the sun was far warmer. Another thing I look forward to but not available was the free hot roasted peanuts!
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Great beer, nice people, good food. The outdoor dining area is very accessible and accommodating for all.

Paul C.

Yelp
Great food, service and super selection of beer on tap. Fun atmosphere. Super bike holiday in NC and great destination brewery
google avatar

Yelp
Went twice while biking in PNW and DuPont area. Absolutely great atmosphere and super efficient bar and food truck ambiance on the same tab! Great place for quick bite and a cold beer between rides. They have some great merchandise too. Service was excellent. We'll be back!
google avatar

Yelp
I love Dale's Pale Ale so this place already earn extra credit before I arrived. They have an inside tasting/tap room next to a gift shop with all things you would ever want related to their brands from tshirts to taps handles. The outside tasting/tap area really is outstanding--both adult and kid friendly. This outside area has high ceiling to keep the sun or rain off your head and enjoy a game of cornhole. And people people hike and bike here to enjoy a beverage. If you are looking for some food, there is a great food truck that serves BBQ and similar fare. Last year I got an outstanding salmon sandwich. This year I enjoyed the pulled chicken. Stop by, enjoy a beer, and enjoy the cozy atmosphere. Its worth it!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
Food was great. Beer was greater. Tons of shaded seating. Dog friendly. Ample parking.
google avatar

Holly S.

Yelp
I am not really one for the whole brewery scene but my family is. I have been to quite a few over the years and this one is super huge and I'd really love the ambience of it. It is extremely open in the outside area and there are a ton of selections of beers and they have wine as well. The indoor area is cool as in temperature cool as well as cool as an ambience cool. The day we were there there was a special event so parking was extremely limited however people were getting creative and seem to all find places to park. The service was great and they had vendors there as well as a bounce house for kids... Although I'm not sure how kids and a brewery necessarily go together. There was also a horrible thunderstorm and even in the outside area you were protected from the rain. If you are a fan of beer I recommend stopping here and checking it out.
google avatar

Peonia E.

Yelp
Pretty cool place in Brevard, large selections of beers a few siders on tap, quite a large brewery and they offered tours but we did not go on a tour. Food truck outside served sandwich style items burgers etc. I had a salmon burger that was actually really tasty:-)
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
I am updating my review. We came back almost a year later and was more impressed! They've added high top tables, so there was more seating. I bought a sticker and as dogs aren't allowed inside, the bartender went inside and upstairs for me which I really appreciated. I did get a burger and fries for $8. The fries were delicious, perfectly cooked with Cajun type seasoning. The burger was just okay. It didn't satisfy me much after a 5 mile hike but the beer sure did. Friendly staff, ample seating, and a permanent food truck. They're doing it right.
google avatar

Justin P.

Yelp
Ok Yelpers real talk. I've been coming to the Asheville area for years hitting the brewery scene and not visited Oskar Blues until this visit. It's WAY off the beaten path and there is nothing else out here. I'd like to come back in the spring and hit Dupont on the MTB then hang at the brewery, I think that would make it a completely different experience. I feel visiting NB and Sierra Nevada prior took away from this experience of at least me expectations. With Oskar Blues being another large craft brewery with multiple sites I feel I came into the visit expecting another NB/Sierra visit, it was all but that. The brewery is more functional than eye appealing as the other two mentioned, food options were minimal with their own truck on site and no other options. I did enjoy the beer selection and ability for "to-go" beer options. Only a limited selection is available in my area due to distribution so that was a nice treat. There is also a Seltzer line that was pretty tasty I'll check out the brewery again during a different season and see what changes if anything.

Yelp
Awesome wonderful place very dog friendly very family friendly lots of great beers Kathleen must in the club wagon Oskar blues club wagons awesome food salmon sandwich was awesome
