In Tokyo’s Little Brazil, Nikkei Restaurants Serve Japanese Brazilian Food | Eater

"A landmark Brazilian restaurant in Nagoya noted for theatrical rotisserie chickens that customers order via a Japanese ticket machine, reflecting a fusion of Brazilian-style rotisserie service with Japanese dining rituals." - Alex Ehrenreich

The 27 Best Restaurants in Nagoya, Japan | Eater

"Casual Brazilian rotisserie restaurant Osso Brazil is a rare place to find whole roasted chickens in Japan. You can order perfectly good sandwiches or individually portioned plates, but your best bet is to gather a few friends or family, claim a table in the dining room on the second floor, and fill it with a whole chicken plus a few sides to share. We ordered their whole chicken. The taste was just right—not too salty or bland—and it was enough to make us feel full and satisfied. 😊👌

I ordered a set of rice and grilled chicken with salad and bean soup. This is the first time I tried brazilian food. I’m very happy with this meal. The server was kindly helpful with the menu and explain them in english.

It's delicious but kinda overpriced when regarding the portion size and taste, I ordered a set with chicken, salad and Brazilian fried pastries, everything tasted fine but nothing spectacular, I would love to eat here again but the price doesn't encourage me to do so, as I can eat food with the same quality and portions and pay much less money, regardless it was still a good experience. Overall, I recommend trying the food here at least once, although I recommend avoiding chicken and salad dishes as they are pretty average.

My regular spot when I need some food to feel like home. Excellent chicken. Great service. And fun to sit at the round tables out front.

Great reprieve from all the miso and traditional Japanese food! The roast chickens are delicious. The French fries were also solid The system is fairly simple, order your food at a ticket machine. A whole chicken is about ¥1800. If you’re eating in, I advise ordering is carved up. You can also order take away and Uber Eats was picking up chickens for delivery while we were there.

The chicken is so good and the lunch specials are a great deal. The machine you order and get your ticket is easy to use. The staff are super nice. Great way to people watch and have a good meal.

Had a half rotisserie chicken; taste was not bad but it didn’t really feel clean on the second floor. There were leftovers and the tables hadn’t been cleared.

We just bought a whole roasted chicken for take out. The taste was good.

Yelp
At times one gets into a situation where you just need some sort of savory snack or small bite. Osso Brasil is a place to resolve that issue and satisfy that craving. Not only does the place have delectable Brazilian snacks like coxinha and pastel, just to name a few, but also light bites like a churrasco lanche (actual steak smacked into French bread). It's nice to find simple but full of flavor items here, though at times the snacks do come on the warm side rather than fresh oven hot. Don't need to fear! Although not preferable, one can still easily ask them to heat it up and you'll be solid!
