Amazing! If you’re a meat lover or simply looking for an exceptional Italian/Sicilian dining experience with a modern twist, this is the place to go. It’s a little expensive compared to other restaurants in the area, but sometimes you just have to treat yourself—and in this case, it was absolutely worth it. I don’t remember the exact dish names, but the egg starter, the risotto, and the Angus beef were real standouts for me—10/10. If I ever return to Siracusa, I’ll definitely be coming back to OSTARIA.

We enjoyed our dinner at Osteria. The food was exquisite and the service was attentive. We walked in at 7:30 pm on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty. Unlike other restaurants in Sicily, Ostaria seems to have specialized in meats. Their menu includes veals, beef steaks, rabbit, pork, lamb and horse meat. Between the two of us, we shared a marinated veal carpaccio, a pasta, the lamb and beef steak. We especially liked the Bassoon pasta that was filled with eggplants and served in sheep ricotta foam and basil cream. The veal carpaccio was really good, too. They also served an amuse-bouche and different types of breads with two types of local olive oil. The ambiance is intimate and sophisticated. If you’re looking for a fine-dining experience in Syracuse that doesn’t include seafoods, Ostaria is a perfect spot.

Our friends brought us here for dinner and the food was amazing! Best steak I’ve ever had. It’s very nice that you can see the dry aged meat in the fridge and you can pick which one you want. It’s a great place to go in a small group so you can share the steaks. They also split the starters for you and the dessert was amazing! The staff were very nice and spoke English. They also have the menu in English. Must try!

One of the best food I had in Sicily! The meat and other ingredients are of a top quality. The only thing which may be improved is an atmosphere in the restaurant. The staff was very friendly but a bit stiffed and too 'careful', coming too often to ask if something is missing, etc. I personally prefer a bit more casual approach.

This is an extraordinary restaurant, a little outside Ortygia, with stunning dishes and an extremely kind and attentive team. Book in advance, as the quality of the food brings in a lot of people! I'll let you discover all the surprises, especially for meat lovers, but not only!!! and dare to try the desserts too!!!! In short, go ahead ... and enjoy with your eyes and mouth! Et pour profiter du lieu j’ai bouquiné Honesty Bar, ( trouvé sur amazon)un super thriller « feelgood » sans violence…. TOP!

Dined here 31st August , didn’t have a reservation , but was made most welcome. The staff are very attentive and friendly , the sommelier helped us choose a delicious local wine. The food was amazing from start to finish , if in Siracusa you must try this place .
