Osteria 1126

The atmosphere and food was amazing! The location is unique, and food and wine are from the local area with so much taste. The only reason for the 3 starts in service is due to a long waiting time before serving even though there weren’t that many customers. It was more than one hour before the primi piati and we were served two similar aperitifs. That means that the wine menu was served with the primi and so forth as well, which was very late with a serving at 20:30. Besides, terrific experience and highly recommended Osteria 1126 if you are in the Chianti region.

The food is delicious! I had roasted duck and panna cotta for dessert. The portions are small typical of a fancy restaurant. Service was great, and the place where the restaurant is located is very beautiful and serene. Plenty of park spaces during lunch.

This place is really worth a trip - it has a magical atmosphere. We had the fiorentina steak with potatoes between 2 of us and it was delicious. We also enjoyed two of their own red wines produced on-site. The service was very warm and friendly, the bathroom was clean, and we enjoyed walking around the site after our meal. Plenty of parking.

lovely place! I did not expect such beautiful views, such wonderfully delicious food from chef Alberto Rini. His dishes exceeded all my expectations. Beautifully presented food on lovely tableware. You can see the heart of the chef in every dish. I would like to thank him very much for these experiences. We spent two relaxing days here exploring the local vineyards. I highly recommend a tour of the vineyard, where you can learn about the history of the vineyard, the settlement and the local wines. In love, I go home thinking about when to come back here again.

During our one week stay at the vineyard we had the pleasure of eating here multiple times. In the end I think we had dinner five times and lunch as well. I can say each time was a five star experience. I have tried the entire menu, I can recommend them!

Beautiful location and good Tuscan food. My partner is gluten free and they were able to accommodate her without issue.

We liked this restaurant Borga is beautiful, we had much better bistecca in Italy. Pappa alpomodori was delicious! Service was very good. Wine was good. Olive oil was delicious overall it’s OK to be there.

Excellent food and the staff were fantastic! Highly recommended. Unique menu with the pork being my favorite!

The meats were great, tasted great and great presentation. Service was wonderful, very attentive. Ambience is probably the main reason I'm giving 5 stars, the ambience, the location, the restaurant is very beautiful.

Fantastic location, great food and lovely staff! Well worth the hairy drive to et up here!
