"Yes, you might have a trip planned to the glass-blowing hub that is Museo del Vetro. When you need lunch, come to Acquastanca. They get a lot of the produce from the nearby island of Sant’Erasmo, so you’ll find things like perfectly braised artichokes, a slew of seafood pastas, and tiny gnocchi with more crispy shredded artichokes. The small dining room is full of vintage mirrors, frames, and old wine bottles, and can serve as a needed break from reading about molten glass. Finish the meal with whatever’s in the pastry case—in the past, we’ve had an excellent lemon tart with a sweet and sour punch of citrus that hits you right in the cheeks." - Team Infatuation

"This tiny, cozy restaurant in Murano is probably the best food on the island. The menu focuses on fresh, light versions of the lagoon's greatest hits: The spaghetti alle vongole , polenta with baccala , gnocchi with vegetables and tagliolini with squid ink are all fabulous. And the desserts, especially the tiramisu and the lemon tart, are lovely. The place has a family-run vibe that leaves it felling casual, but special." - Andrea Whittle

Our first lunch at Murano was an average experience. The grilled sea bass was well-prepared and enjoyable, but the fillet of sole fell below expectations. The vongole was inconsistent—one plate was great, while the other had undercooked pasta. On a positive note, the desserts were a highlight. Both the tiramisu and the frozen cream sandwich were delicious and ended the meal on a good note. Overall, while some dishes were enjoyable, the inconsistency in quality left us underwhelmed.

Wow a highlight of our trip to Venice. One of the best restos in Murano for sure. I adore the decor and vibe of the place. So beautiful. I like the cutlery rest tiles. So pretty. My son and I enjoyed the fancy peach iced tea from San Benedetto. Our son had delicious Fried scampi and calamaries with tartare sauce. It was generous so we had to help him with pleasure. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the Spaghettoni Felicetti with clams and cherry because I normally don’t have seafood with pasta. But this was so fresh that it made sense! For those with salty leanings. My husband absolutely enjoyed the Ossobuco with saffron risotto. So so so good! We capped the meal of with a spectacular meringue cake & espressi. Fantastic! Highly recommended.

Came for lunch during our visit to Murano. Cute, cozy restaurant by the canal. Delicious dishes made using local ingredients. Beautiful presentation and good service. Overall it was a lovely dining experience.

Why Why

Google
This is 1 of the best restaurants in Murano Island. Cozy set up. We ordered sea bass fillet, cheese baked pasta, mussels and black pasta. Their portion is good for 3 of us (Note: JUST nice for lunch). All the dishes were recommended by the waiter and there is no regrets for us. Probably we should skip our breakfast next time to have more selections of the super yummy food here😄

Google
What a beautiful little restaurant with great food. It’s not entirely cheap, but this is Venice or Murano more specifically. Perhaps locals eat more cheaply but there are no complaints from me. I had a great lunch here in mid-April. Outstanding ravioli followed by delicious octopus on a bed of chickpeas and chicory. The wine was outstanding. Very kind service as well. Definitely a winner for a reason!

Google
A Wonderful Surprise in Venice It was a last-minute dinner, and what a great surprise it turned out to be! We were fortunate to get a seat without a reservation. The atmosphere of this place is fantastic—cute, original, and full of charm. The food was incredibly fresh and absolutely outstanding, making every bite a delight. This spot is a true gem and a must-visit during your stay in Venice. Highly recommended!

Google
Recommended to us by our wonderful receptionist at the Hyatt Centric, my wife and I absolutely loved our visit here. We arrived at opening time and received a brilliantly warm and genuine welcome from start to finish. We were made to feel very special and our waitress treated us like a friend or relative. Good selection of seafood dishes with a few carnivore options. Definitely worth a try if visiting Morano.

Google
Brilliant wee place for lunch. We had pasta with seafood, and it was amazing. The decor and atmosphere were also great. For one course each, a bottle of water and a glass of wine we spent around 60 euro which we thought was reasonable. I would recommend this place if you are visiting Murano!

Yelp
Best ravioli of my life!! Not a lot of vegan options but try the Datterini tomatoes -also sweetest and best of my life. Simple dish of delicious tomatoes with olive oil and balsamic. My niece said best octopus she has tried as well. Quaint restaurant with families with kids. So my kids were comfortable but there wasn't a kids menu. Automatic €3.50/person for sitting down. Includes bread and butter cookies at the end.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with amazing food! It's an absolute gem on Murano Island. Service is slow so order fast when you arrive.

Yelp
Unique menu offering, tasty, but portions were even smaller than usual for Italy. We sat outside - the only outdoor table directly in front of the restaurant - fortunately, Murano is not as busy/hectic as Venice, so not really an issue.

Yelp
The ambiance and food of this restaurant were perfectly in sync, and so well curated. The restaurant is subtly ocean themed, but has really nice details like the deep purple glasses they have and comfy cushions on the chairs. My brother and I came here for lunch, and ordered the grilled octopus and spaghetti with tuna eggs and tomatoes. The spaghetti ended up being too fishy for our taste, I think this must be an acquired taste. The octopus on the other hand was really great. It was served over a chickpea puree lightly drizzled with olive oil and some sauteed greens. The textures all worked together splendidly. The service was ok, but I think they could have been more friendly, and told us more about their dishes, maybe warned us how fishy the spaghetti would be. I would definitely come back to try a different dish and hopefully have more luck with it!

Yelp
Incredible, beautiful, healthy, fresh dinner with incredible service at this family-owned gem. The staff was attentive. Our wine and water glasses were always full, we had everything we wanted or needed, before we realized we wanted our needed it. The service charge is €3, but in this case you are paying for amazing service for just a few dollars extra.

Yelp
Nice and quaint little place. They even take your coat before seating. Seafood was fresh with interesting preparations. Gnocchi was homemade & delicious. They even keep your bread basket (with a variety of different breads) refreshed with each course. The wines are also very good.

Yelp
Amazing experience! The food was absolutely superb!!! And the service... oh my... they will make you feel like a king and queen!!! The owner herself, Giovanna, made sure we had a "once in a life time" experience (then I found out she treats everyone like that...). I went with my whole family, and from the appetizer all the way to the espresso to the dessert wine... EVERYTHING was incredibly delicious! Highly recommended!!!! A definite five stars!!!

Yelp
This is surely the best food on Murano, maybe even Venice. A lovely little restaurant and bar, comfortable and chic. We had a very tasty tuna tartare, fresh homemade spinach ravioli, grilled octopus with bitter greens and fried sardines with excellent caponata. Everything was appropriately sized and the owners were molto gentile. Grazie! Check to see if they're open at night, we got very lucky on a Monday night.

Yelp
Wonderful restaurant on the island of Murano. The design and Decour is very airy and warm. The front side of the restaurant has a bar area where you can have a drink and eat some appetizers. The back end of the room has restaurant tables. The food is very good. We had some fried sardines as an appetizer which were covered with a very delicate batter and fried. They were delicious. The celery and octopus salad was very new and innovative. The spaghetti with fresh clams was excellent, with the pasta cooked al dente. The pasta with duck meat was also outstanding. The lemon tart with meringue topping was to die for The service is impeccable, The owner is very friendly

Yelp
Ditto all the positive reviews here! We had crab and baby artichoke salad, which was to die for! And baked pasta with asparagus and shrimp, also outstanding. All complemented with a delicious Italian Chardonnay for 18 E. Finished off with a strawberry cake dessert wrapped in merengue. Best meal we had in Italy! Wish they had been open for dinner because we would have gone back that night!

Yelp
We took our niece to Venice for her birthday. We made a good choice stopping here for our mid-day meal. The food was very good, the wine recommendation by the waiter was excellent. He was very professional, but at the same time had a great sense of humor. We had a wonderful time, great food and we'd definitely go back!

Rene H.

Yelp
One of the only places open on Murano 7 days a week. The kitchen is only open Fri-Sat, however the bar and service is worth the visit any night. The Wi-Fi is better than any other place on the island, and the drinks are very affordable.

Yelp
We stopped for lunch at this excellent restaurant and we were happy that we did. The four of us ordered pasta dishes - all outstanding. We also ordered tiramisu & lemon meringue cake which were to die for. The service was excellent. This was a highlight of our trip to Murano. N
