Great quality food. Small room, quit and intimate atmosphere. The ingredients are very good, the menu is short, but very well balanced. Great starters, pastas and the meat tastes great. Very good indeed. The wine cart is strong with several good Chianti wines to open… I do recommend for your Tuscany tour!

We had dinner twice in this excellent restaurant in Gaiole. The staff is super friendly, very knowledgeable and personable. From the three kinds of home made bread over the first course, main course till desert, everything was of tasteful, fresh quality. The tartar was to die for. My husband even went to the kitchen to compliment the chef. Turns out the sous chef was responsible for this deliciousness. Bravo! We had the Tagliata and pasta ragu as main courses. Special thanks to Lorenzo, Lessen, Klevis and the other staff members, whose names I didn’t catch.

The reviews were right, this place is that good. Don't miss the opportunity of trying very good food. The wild board was amazing. The biscuits with the wine for dessert were very good.

After two weeks of dining in Italy, Osteria Al Ponte in Gaiole in Chianti delivered the finest culinary experience I’ve had during my stay. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s impeccable attention to detail and warm care set the tone for a perfect evening. I started with the risotto, which was flawlessly creamy, topped with truffles and seasoned to perfection. The main course of sliced Angus beef was a triumph, tender and full of flavor. To finish, the panna cotta was a delight—light, smooth, and the ideal balance of sweetness. What truly stands out is that despite the fine dining quality, the atmosphere felt relaxed and free of pretension. The value for money was outstanding, with reasonable prices considering the top-notch food and service. In fact, we were so impressed that we returned the next day for lunch. And the day after that, for both lunch and dinner! Osteria Al Ponte has become a must-visit in Tuscany for us, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the region. A dining gem not to be missed!

The food here was lovely and the service so welcoming. The bread was the best we had in Tuscany. The restaurant is pretty and a lot of effort is put into it. Maybe they aim a bit to high. Only one person could pour the wine and the dishes a bit to nicely put together for the level. I would come back again.

This was a wonderful place to dine. The service was top notch throughout the entire experience. The food was absolutely stellar and every single dish was 10/10. I highly recommend stopping by here. The outdoor space is beautiful for a warm day, we sat on the patio for lunch. Everyone was super nice and very attentive.

Every waiter and waitress every above and beyond in terms of service, the food was fantastic and Alma took it next level by arranging a vineyard visit with a local. This entire “Gaiole” had a strong sense of community and warmth. #retirementgoals!

My first visit to Chianti led me to a local restaurant that left an everlasting impression. Without a doubt, it offered the finest food I have ever tasted. I wholeheartedly recommend their local dry-aged steak, beef tartare, and beef carpaccio. The service was impeccable, delivered with professionalism and perfection.
