"A taste of Italy’s Amalfi Coast comes to the Mirage at the new Osteria Costa. Neapolitan pizzas, handmade pastas, seafood, and bread made in house highlight the menu from chef Michael LaPlaca here. The decor reflects the Mediterranean setting with its bright colors and rustic touches that look as if they were taken directly from the cliffside village that pepper the Italian coastline. A color palette of seaside blues and greens punctuated by lush greenery and light wood furnishings add to that seaside feel. Of note, an open kitchen gives diners a view of the chefs at work while a bar flanks the dining room with a menu of wines by the glass, cocktails, and limoncello. A pizza oven has its own bar wrapping around the experience. The restaurant, which replaced Samba off the casino floor, also features a private dining room. Take a look around." - Susan Stapleton
