The 16 Best Restaurants & Hotels In Saratoga Springs

"The menu is always changing at Osteria Danny, but everything coming out of the kitchen is a prime example of why keeping things simple isn’t so bad after all. You’ll find plates of burrata and prosciutto and a classic caesar salad, but we tend to prioritize the pastas and entrees. Go for the fresh, homemade egg fettuccine with pistachio pesto and “Shrimp The Way My Father Liked It” with shrimp cooked in a tomato-based sauce, served over lemon risotto. While we love this spot for date night or a work dinner, Osteria Danny is really a place where you could easily come back every night of the week and not get bored." - lauren breedlove

The culinary arts are represented here in a dining experience that will take your taste buds on a delicious journey. Each dish is expertly crafted. They have a romantic and cozy vibe with excellent service. You can select a wine from their extensive list or get your favorite cocktail from their full bar. Pro Tip: Don't skip over the appetizers!

Had dinner there a few days ago and we loved it! Cod and Scallop entrees were cooked perfectly and delicious. Sticky toffee cake with salted caramel gelato was amazing for dessert. Next time I'm up I'll be back. I should note that it's a small restaurant so you may be seated quite close to your neighbors.

We ate here during our stay in Saratoga Springs. Very nice and cozy atmosphere with good food and great service.

Stopped in for dinner of a recommendation from a friend. It was absolutely amazing. Sat at the bar, and both the hostess and the bartender (Shannon) had great recommendations for dinner, dessert, and wine. Loved it so much I immediately made reservations for the next night to bring back my love! Over the two days, I/we had the pork chop, prime rib, pan seared scallops, the peanut butter pie, and coconut cream pie.

Google
Wonderful Italian restaurant, the food is amazing, lots of choices, and paired with red or white wine, or mixed drink any meal is perfect. Everything tasted light and clean and the mood in the restaurant is slow. Did not feel rushed at all. It is reservation only and the tables fill up quickly. Great experience, can't wait to visit again.

Lovely little Italian place that’s pretty popular judging by the full house on a Wednesday when I had dinner there. Started with a generous serving of bread. I ordered the Veal Danny which is veal in cream sauce with some lobster claws thrown in. It was good, albeit a bit too creamy for my liking. My friends ordered the sea bass, pork chop and boneless short ribs which were all good.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. You could really taste the difference in the local, fresh foods and the way they were prepared. Highly recommend the grass-fed filet. So much softer and more tender than regular filet. Fish and lamb chops are also excellent. The burrata and prosciutto appetizer was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Truly phenomenal! My husband and I went here to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. We lucked out and were able to get a reservation for 5pm on a Wednesday the day before. We were seated on one of their two covered outdoor patios and had Terri as our waitress. She was friendly, fast, and made great recommendations. I've been craving seafood so we went with the Bang Bang Shrimp app & Octopus special app - both were SO good!!! For our entrees, I had the scallops with lobster risotto (amazing) & my husband got Veal Danny, chef Petrosino's signature dish (equally as amazing). They were tender, flavorful, cooked to absolute perfection and we were both just basically eating in silence because the food was too darn good to stop to talk lol. I rarely order dessert out because I hate that overstuffed feeling, but we shared a slice of their traditional chocolate cake and Terri added a surprise scoop of their house made salted caramel ice cream.... this was TO DIE FOR. Like I'm tempted to just see if they'll do a takeout order of just that and go pick it up. That cake was warm, moist, not too heavy (no frosting which you never even miss), and idk what sorcery they use in making their ice cream but I'm SOLD on it. We'll definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yelp
Whoa spectacular dinner here! Made a res on Resy for my extended family celebrating birthdays. 82-yo Mom was happy and comfortable getting to our table and the hostess even asked if the table placement was ok and was willing to move us if not. That was so nice and helpful but Mom is great and was fine. Looks smaller than it feels other than the noise level is high. Food was very very good! My special braised shorteib was everything you'd expect in taste, flavor, and aroma and a spot-on sauce/demi glace. The pommes puree was out of this world! We loved the Bada Bing Shrimp to start and we all filled up on dipping the bread into the sauce of this dish- so good, and the Caeser salad with anchovies was perfectly dressed and enough to share! It was the pork belly with one scallop on top that will have me coming back! Can't believe I had not been here before nor had my local family. Delicious!

Yelp
Very mixed review here! This place might have served us one of THE best pasta dishes (besides my mom's) of our life. Lumache was cooked so perfectly al dente and the sauce blew us away. Absolute perfection on a plate. Our other pasta dish, I am forgetting- but it was also good. Just not incredible like the lumache. The bread served was stale. The watermelon salad for $18 was the size to feed a mouse. Watermelon tasted old. One star for that. The tiramisu was okay- nothing I would order again. Waitress was very nice and apologized for the problem -- something she could not control - Cigar party early evening with over 15 smokers on the patio where we were seated. The elderly patrons were complaining, we had our kid with us and we had to rush the bill once dessert came the smoke was UNBEARABLE. Come on, have some respect for your patrons. But then again the owner's quote: "I do what I want to do. I serve what I want to serve."

Yelp
Osteria Danny in Saratoga Springs is an absolute gem! Believe the hype. The service is impeccable, with staff that goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. The ambiance is charming, creating a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. I expected it to be more formal, but it's quite casual and laid back. Now, let's talk about the food - each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with flavors that elevate the dining experience to new heights. We started with Brussels sprouts and "bada bing" shrimp; plus the complimentary bread, bean salad and perfectly chilled butter. Loved all of it...the sprouts were sweet and savory; the shrimp gigantic and decadent. Main courses were bolognese and spicy crab (served over pasta). Absolutely delicious, huge portions. So much crab on top of homemade pasta with a kick of hot peppers. All pasta is made in- house with one exception (and that one is imported from Italy). But, we stopped and had leftovers put aside so that we could try the desserts: Italian cheesecake and sticky toffee cake (served with salted caramel gelato), accompanied by an espresso. Again-amazing. These people know what they're doing. From the appetizers to the desserts, Osteria Danny consistently delivers a culinary delight that will bring me coming back for more. This restaurant truly captures the essence of casual/fine dining in Saratoga Springs. Can't wait to return!

Yelp
AMAZING!!! Every single thing about Osteria Danny is completely amazing. My friends and I had an incredible meal. Attention to detail is off the charts! A couple of us had the Veal Danny which was delicious. I had a small side of Lumache, which I could easily have made my complete meal. Every person in our group was ecstatic about their meals... our server Ryan helped us pick out the perfect bottle of wine and answered our menu questions with very knowledgeable answers. We sat on the side porch, and the ambience for our table of six could not have been better. This is an amazing restaurant. Also, don't forget the desserts. Completely over the top! Everyone there was so kind. We even met Chef Danny!!! Danny and his wife Patti have a beautiful restaurant. I highly recommend stopping in!

Yelp
Visited Congress Park today and noticed Danny's, from across the street! The three of us decided to stop in and have dinner there, without a reservation. A bread basket, with a bean salad, was brought out and being hungry we eagerly enjoyed the bread. The bean salad seemed off, with a fishy taste, so we inquired of our female server, Poppy, what was in the salad? She told us and I mentioned there was a fishy taste to the salad. She took the bean salad away and brought back what seemed to be the exact same dish. We then asked her to remove the dish from our table, which she did. We then looked at the limited menu and ordered the hangar steak, the scallop dish and an 8 oz. Filet, all kind of pricey! When the meals arrived, the finger potatoes served with the hangar steak ($42), were inedible. To make it right, we asked for mashed potatoes, which were provided! BTW, the hangar Steak was delicious! The four scallops ($52!), were luke warm and two were over-seared and two were still white! When I complained about them, Poppy offered to heat the dish up! My original dish was returned to me after they heated it and covered the scallops with a sauce, to hide the over cooking! My first bite of the Lobster Risitto, did not bode well either, as i encountered uncooked rice on my first mouthful. It got a little better, but nothing to rave about. Our last dish was the filet, ($60), which we asked for medium. The steak was delivered well done and again when we brought it to Poppy's attention, she shrugged it off as maybe being a little more done than expected! The mashed potatoes were very good though. All three of our meals came with green beans, which none of us could cut, nor eat, (because they were raw/uncooked)! Again brought this to Poppy's attention and she replied "they're farm fresh"! We were more concerned with them being uncooked! The last slap in the face was our drinks! I ordered a whiskey sour, which I expected to be around $8-10 and after receiving our bill saw a charge for Jack Daniels, ($14)! I was never told that mixed drinks were top shelf and could not even tell that Jack Daniels was used in my drink! If I had known about this unsaid little tidbit, I would have ordered a different drink! We also ordered a ginger ale, which cost $7, no refill was asked for or offered! Overall, this was a non-eventful meal, way over priced and very disappointing! I will certainly make it a point not to return to this restaurant and would recommend that future diners think twice about visiting this establishment! I think with all of the issues that we had, it would have been nice to have some adjustment made to our $200 bill! None was offered! BTW, we did tip generously, even though it was less than a stellar dining experience! Buyer beware!

Yelp
You can tell from the second you walk into a restaurant from what you see around you and how you're greeted how your meal will be. At least, I have found a pattern here. Let me start by saying that I was disappointed that I could only go to five starts here when clearly they are a 10 star establishment. It was obvious that the wait staff new all the clients and many of the clients new the other clients. Just one big happy family here. After the server came over and took our drink order she proceeded to explain the menu. It takes a while. She could answer any questions and could tell you exactly how the item is prepared. She was just amazing and Terry clearly added to the dining experience here. Let's start with appetizers. - Bada Big Shrimp -Meatballs -Luizzi Burrata - Grilled Octopus ALL of these dishes were incredible. You cannot come here and not order the Bada Big Shrimp. Never had I ever had a dish like this. Garlicky, basil Creaminess. (menu words) tomato, spinach, crostini. It was a life changing experience. Dinner: -Bucatini - Broccoli Rabe & Sausage -Lumache - Bolognese style pasta -Short Rib - mouth watering tasty-tender short rib with a mouth watering rich red sauce. Each bite made you want more. I had he Lumache which is a Bolognese "Osteria Danny" style. Delish red sauce with great tasty meat over a very interesting pasta. If you don't order as a main meal, get as an appetizer for table. It is amazing. RUN, (or drive if necessary) don't walk to Osteria Danny. This is truly a dining experience that everyone should have. KUDO's to the team at Dannys

Yelp
My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at Osteria Danny. This is one of the best meals we have ever had. The Pan seared scallops and lobster risotto were fantastic. Kudos to our waiter, Ryan! Thanks for making our evening so special.

Yelp
An absolute hidden gem. A menu that changes based on the fresh ingredients available. Every pasta dish on the menu is incredible. The beef entrees are also excellent, better than any steakhouse around. What really makes this place five stars is the dessert. The sticky toffee cake and coconut cream pie are absolutely mind blowing. Patti is also the best! Always welcoming.

Yelp
Always a good time, good vibe, cocktails and of course great food with Danny and crew making magic in the kitchen. Patty and crew keeping people feed and entertained in their cute and intimate space. A must dine if in Saratoga Springs.

Yelp
Food was just alright. Service was good. Ambiance was nothing special. I would not go out of my way to go there again.

Yelp
This place was awesome. Called a few days before we wanted to visit and got super lucky with two seats at their bar. The bar is small, about 6 seats total and has a very intimate feel to it. There's a tiny tv and one bartender so it truly feels like you are getting the VIP treatment sitting at the bar. The bread and beans they bring over complementary were delicious - bread was fresh out of the oven hot! I wish we were hungry enough for appetizers - they all looked SO good! We ordered off of their special menu - I got the scallops. WOW - probably top 3 scallop entrée I've ever had and we go out to eat A LOT. My husband got the steak and it was perfectly cooked to his liking - charred on outside and medium rare inside. We desperately wanted fresh dessert made in house but were so full so we will have to wait for next summer visit. Super cute inside & outside. Very small with not that many tables but you are treated so special here. The food & service are outstanding. Thank you Osteria Danny - we cant wait to come back next year!!!

Yelp
The hotel we stayed at made a reservation at this restaurant. They subsequently increase the reservation from two people to six people and the hotel received a confirming text message from the restaurant. When we showed up the restaurant had our reservation only at two people. The hostess was, rude and unaccommodating to the problem. She basically told us to go somewhere else, did not offer any suggestions or even attempt to improve the situation. I would never go to this restaurant as several other people when we were standing there waiting told us that the reservation system there is horrible and they have had problems in the past.

Patty Q.

Yelp
Food was very good, we ordered the Filet and. The Fettuccine with Pistachio Pesto. The wait staff were attentive and pleasant. The dining room is small and the tables were crowded together. I'm sure we'll go back, maybe when the outside dining area opens for the season.

Elyse J.

Yelp
Unbelievable food! We've tried 90% of the menu and have yet to be disappointed. The prawns appetizer and Veal Danny are musts. Coconut Cream Pie is to die for (and I don't care much for dessert). If you're looking for amazing service, remarkable food, and a unique ambiance - Osteria Danny is it. Note that the restaurant is a cozy space but it's only enhanced our experience!

Yelp
Off the charts yummy! Beautiful owners, Italian hospitality that makes you feel like one of the family. But I want that badda Bing recipe or it's lights out for you twos!! Everything a sweet Italian place should be. We're 5 hours away or we'd be there weekly.. probably nightly!

Yelp
Yesterday I went to Danny's for dinner. I will preface this with that I was sober and that I do not drink alcohol. I found myself questions my perception of reality at this restaurant. I honestly thought in the beginning that maybe I was misinterperting and misunderstanding things. But as I talked to my friends, I found that I was accurately reading the situation. I found the restaurant and the server aggressive and a bit too much. We had the sever Terry, and I found her to make us uncomfortable. She was very loud and would shout next to my ear to the point where I would cover it. We were also being rushed, and it was apparent. She would try to take our plate away before we were finished. We also asked for a steak medium rare and it came out a bit more rare than we expected, and when we asked for it to be heated a bit more less of the steak came out. Terry would also make comments about my appearance which were all positive, but made me extremely uncomfortable. Many things that we ordered did not come out, but there were also items that came out that we did not order. Many of our drinks were taken away before they were finished drinking. She also joked about saying she was taking sips from our glasses. Which rases the question of why our glasses were disappearing before they were finished. We received 8 bottles for the Saratoga spring water but we were never offered tap water, which I admit we Could have spoken up about it. But there were many other errors with the out bill. On the receipt it said we ordered 4 raviolis, and we received 2. We also received the 2 of the killer ragu which was actually really bad and we didn't even order it... We also ordered specifically 4 limoncello's and 8 of them came out We also ordered four desserts the two pies and the cheese cake. She would also try to take away bottles of water that we were being charged for that were still full and would try to get us full bottles to trrg and rack our bill. But a crembule came out, a sticky toffee and a flourless cake came out and we were charged for it. The flourless cake was a birthday cake with a candle and they charged us for it with out asking. Terry also spilled an espresso martini on one of the guest and then tried to wipe it off my friends pants/crotch area and proceeded to try to pat it out there. Then when I started helping she made a comment about how I was wiping it off his "crotch" which I found to be a bit distasteful. What I will say is the real carbonara, the shrimp burrata, the ravioli (but we were charged for 4 and only got 2) I found this experience to to quite unsettling and this restaurant did not pop off. The food was low key mid but some things were delicious. Mainly my issue was with the server. She lowkey gaslit us by starting off by rushing us, and by the end of the night, she painted this hero narrative of making sure we wouldn't get kicked out. We were not expecting anything to be comped, but we are not expecting to have sneaky charges for things we didn't order. The restaurant service and vibes were just off, and it's a lot to handle when you're sober. Our group had a fun night with each other and we can't help feel taken advantage of for the extra charges. I feel like terry thought we wouldn't notice or remember these extra charges and added all these things on. Or maybe it could of been an honest mistake. But that would be a mistake that was repeated throughout the entire evening.

Yelp
Amazing food and the service is outstanding Can't miss this restaurant if your in the Saratoga area Simply the best Italian food

Yelp
We returned hear a year later and guess what? It's better than it was before. The Danny's Chopped Salad was delightful. My veal chop was very good but her scallops were even better. The jewel in the crown, though, was the coconut cream pie! Out of this world.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Indian food done, right! Great beer and the food was delicious. Parking was easy and I would definitely return.

Yelp
Made reservation for 6 people at 830. Showed up right at 830 and was told by waitress they were just cleaning off our table. We ended up waiting 32 minutes to finally be seated and watched them seat another group of six who showed up after us and also told us they have 830 reservations. The woman who takes reservations and usually greets people at the door to check them in completely ignored us the entire time we waited. She hung out at other customers' tables talking to them which felt like she was purposely avoiding us. She Never even acknowledged us or offered an apology. Restaurant took first round of drinks off of our tab which to me felt inadequate after being ignored by manager/owner. Food was very good as always as was our waiter. Overall very disappointing experience for us (repeat customers) as well as our out-of-town guests who we had assured the late 830 reservation was worth it because of how special Danny's is.
google avatar

Scott B.

Yelp
Not a friendly place. Cranky Hostess They seem to think they are special. Many places better in Saratoga without being pretentious. Maybe Danny should cook breakfast
google avatar

Ed R.

Yelp
Five star food and ambiance. Specials rotate daily, some farm to table offerings and a stellar wine list. Service was a little delayed but we'll worth the wait. They pack them in here because of their well deserved reputation. Call ahead for reservations- we only got in because of a cancellation! Stellar waitstaff!
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
I would give Osteria Danny 6 stars if Yelp would let me. Absolutely fantastic! I won't bore you with a long review, I'll leave it at this - You will not find better Italian dining in Saratoga, and I am not sure you will find it anywhere else. Go there once and you will want to return often. It is small so definitely get a reservation.

Sabrina S.

Yelp
So excited my friend and I got to try this spot! We went on closing weekend for the races and apparently this restaurant gets booked up in April! The hostess was so nice and was able to squeeze us in at an outdoor table! Food was very very good. Had the mussels, Cesar salad and chicken. My friend had the pork which was very tender. Outdoor seating a little uncomfortable but the waiter replaced the chair for me. See you next year!

Yelp
Osteria Danny I would consider one of the strongest local fine dining family style restaurants in town, it feels like your going to your families house for dinner when you come into this spot. Very intimate, small interior, few tables spaced out from each other, and also a hint, you should call to see if they are taking reservations, even if it says they are closed for a chance to dine here. The food was delicious, definitely very good. Apparently the chef is known as "The Codfather", So I had to go with the Bacon Crusted Cod in Lobster Sauce on Risotto, and it was very damn good, flavorful and zesty. My girlfriend got one of the pasta dishes, huge portion, lots of sauce, made IN HOUSE, and she said it was one of the best she ever had, and she's Italian. I do recommend, and comes in 2nd place for places we tried on our trip to Saratoga Springs. DISCLAIMER: An unfortunate situation happened in the restaurant where someone tested COVID Positive, and I found this out via a Facebook post on their page, and I must say I appreciate the transparency of the restaurant for telling it's patrons that. While I planned on getting tested after this trip anyway, I have been monitoring myself for any issues, Negative so far as well as my girlfriend. The servers wore Face shield and No Masks, which concerned me slightly, but I messaged the restaurant with this concern and they were open to communication about this situation. It's tough out there for every small business and restaurant. Be mindful, stay safe, and stay healthy.

Cindi D.

Yelp
First time visiting Osteria Danny and it was amazing. Our food was absolutely delicious. Our server was funny and really seemed to enjoy working there. We will be back, and we will be recommending to all our family and friends.

D Ross S.

Yelp
In our opinion this is one of the top 3 restaurants in the area. Danny & Patti are professional & there food and service are over the top. They always have great specials & cocktails can't be beat
google avatar

Tim R.

Yelp
Food was outstanding, prices what you would expect for such quality. Nice sized portions. But the service....Why does it seem standard for the best Italian restaurants in Saratoga to have service with such bad attitude? Can't a place have great food and nice people??? Our server was very pushy, made us feel rushed and tried to sell us things we didn't want. Made us feel we were lucky to be there. I'd love to go back for the food, but not worth the effort. Ordered the Bolognese and it may have been the best I have had.
google avatar

GC N.

Yelp
Now I know why it's so hard to get a reservation at Osteria Danny- it is perhaps the finest Italian restaurant I have ever been to. The food is tremendous! I had a pasta with pistachio pesto that was out of this world ! The pasta bolognese and veal chops were equally good and drew raves from the other members of my party . I've been to all the top Italian restaurants in Manhattan , but I've never enjoyed a meal more .

Courtney R.

Yelp
Loved our first visit here and can't wait to return. I'm gluten free and the chef prepared my entree with a special sauce so I could still enjoy! Food was delicious. Ambiance was lovely and fun. Our server was excellent!
google avatar

Rosie B.

Yelp
Good Italian restaurant, there were 3 of us, minimal options for gluten free but if you love gluten it's a great place. I had the "shrimp the way my father liked it" it was good and flavorful.

Linda F.

Yelp
Fabulous food and fantastic menu. Reservations recommended. Won't disappoint for sure

Robbin S.

Yelp
Another great meal at Osteria Danny. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. We keep trying other options in town and although many have been good, Danny's continues to be our favorite. The food is simply fabulous, the atmosphere intimate, and the staff outstanding.
google avatar

Jordyn K.

Yelp
This has been one of my go to restaurants every time I'm back in town to visit my parents. Danny cooks some of the best elevated Italian food I've had. Every time you walk you feel like your family, and it shows through the food. Also, the coconut crème pie is amaze.
google avatar

Michael S.

Yelp
We visited Danny's at the recommendation of people we met at a concert, they live in Saratoga. As Yelpers said this is a neat place, very intimate and it is like eating at a friends house with 30-40 of your closest friends. Overall, we enjoyed our meals, but did not rate them as excellent. The bada bing shrimp app ($16) is "as advertised" delicious and the sauce was perfect for dipping warm complimentary Italian bread. The octopus app was tender, but the sauce was a little sweet. The lobster bolo ($34) looked great, but there couldn't have been more than 2-3 oz of lobster in the whole dish. The homemade pasta was perfect - Al dente and the alfredo-like sauce was good, but once the cream based sauce fills you up, you go looking in the pasta bowl for more lobster meat and it came up short. The bucatini ($22) was cooked al dente and the broccoli rabe was sautéed correctly, but the sausage was dry and it looked like the chef took a dull knife to the 2" irregular pieces of sausage rather than to crumble it, or cut nice tender small sausage wheels. The Prosecco was a tad sweet and came from a small individual bottle vs. a nice ice cold 750ml bottle of La Marca or Zonin and pouring that bottle from behind the bar. The red wine selection by the glass is excellent and the two suggested by the bartender at $10 and $11 were excellent (Lake Sonoma Cab and Italian Borgoforte)

Moe M.

Yelp
Our first experience at this restaurant was nothing short of amazing. Great food, great server, Danny came out and sat with us, it was memorable. So memorable that we decided to drive to Saratoga from NYC for my milestone Birthday. Our server was totally inappropriate, cracking Italian jokes when he heard our last name and using slurs that he shouldn't have, we are not his buddies but complete strangers, we were uncomfortable. He also asked if we wanted to pick on some olives so we said sure, he never mentioned the $8.00 charge. We had the bada bing shrimp which was overly sauced and too rich to enjoy as was the signature veal Danny. The veal parmigiana on the bone was delicious as was the homemade pasta that accompanied it. Now here is where it gets dicey, I had thought some of my Family members would have tried to send us wine or a dessert since this was a milestone birthday and they asked where we were dining. It turns out that my Family members had been trying to call all day at 15 minute intervals and even left messages. My Brother to send a bottle of wine, my Daughter Birthday Champagne and she was calling from out of the country. No one bothered to answer the phone or return their calls, when my Husband asked if there was anything sent, this was while I was in the Ladies room, the server said well there was a funeral today so I don't think Danny's wife answered her phone. What??? How do you run a business and not answer the phone and return messages?? You are a restaurant where you need reservations? I did have a rather unpleasant email exchange with Danny/Patti not sure who and the bottom line for me is that you can't always rely on serving a good product but maybe customer service should be a priority along with the food. I was shocked at his response to my email letting him know what happened. He said he was sorry that they didn't live up to my expectations? How can he assume to know what my expectations were? My expectations were not that high, only that maybe they should answer the phone? A true apology would've been nice. We thought this would be our special place, hah, too many other great places in Saratoga to waste our time being treated like this!

Yelp
My oh my, mamma mia, this place is blessed with an incredible staff and beyond belief mouthwatering food. At first, I was skeptical about the reviews because you never know if the remarks are genuine or not; I've had encountered my fair share of restaurants that have stellar reviews but subpar food so this place got me squinting hard in skepticism but boy was I silly making that face! The place is darling with the decor, the employees were welcoming, and the meal was just perfection from plating to tasting. It's just wow after wow. Even though I was full, I couldn't say no to the pistachio cheesecake. I would say that might be the least favorite item to kill off but I polished it off nonetheless! Get the pasta, you will not regret it; and if you're wondering which one, it doesn't matter because they're all delicious!

Yelp
The whole experience is douchy. You call and they call you back to tell you how they can't accommodate your reservation... even if booking 5 months in advance. Then you get there and a congested guy points you to your table with one word answers. Don't ask questions about the menu, your waitress will answer sharply saying what kind of question is that? I don't know the size of the veal... the usual size... Wine list is nothing great. Food is good ( stay away from pasta... go for meat or fish dishes and avoid creamy stuff). If getting pasta get the half order... All in all... never coming back, attitude is not what we look for when going out for dinner.

Yelp
This spot is so yummy and a great family owned restaurant in Saratoga! they have set up a good amount of seating outside but unfountinelty the night we went was pretty chilly so we ate in side but the outdoor seating looked really nice and would of been our choice on a warmer night. The servers are very friendly and wear a face shield, also the menus are paper and i did see the waiter rip it up and throw it out once we were done which i have not seen at other places. the food was delicious. My table started with the grilled octopus which had a great flavor and loved the use of local ingredients with the jam dip. For the main i got the seared scallops with lobster risotto and i ate every bit of it. My friend got the danny veal as well and loved it. Definentaly both items we would get again. I ordered a cosmo as well and they throw a splash of St Germain in their cosmos which is not something i had thought of doing and it was amazing. definitely something i am going to try and recreate at home.

Yelp
Great food and service with a friendly staff. Our server Terri was very professional and helpful with food recommendations. The six of us in my party all loved our appetizers and entrees. Scallops, swordfish and steak were all excellent. The veal chop was the best I have ever eaten.

Yelp
This comment is for Terry (with an I) thank you for the great service! Food was also amazing but Terry's (with an I) service made everything so much funnier and better. Thanks Terry (with an I) George

Yelp
We wish we could give this place 10 stars. The service and food were amazing. Our waiter Gregory was awesome! We had the meatballs, burrata ravioli and chicken vodka rigatoni. All were the best we've ever had and we are already planning our next trip back to Saratoga around this place. 10/10 would recommend.

Yelp
Outstanding dinner in a small, bustling restaurant on a quiet side street in Saratoga Springs. I initially found the restaurant on Yelp but made the decision to dine here based on glowing praise about from our inn owner. We were greeted by Patty who is the chef/ owner's wife. She is very personable and told us a little about herself, Danny, and the restaurant. Our server was a pro but totally down to earth and friendly. New friends we met the night before were also dining here and kindly sent an appetizer of baked oysters to our table. Everything we received from the app, bread, wine, and pistachio cheesecake dessert were first rate. The scallops in our entree were perfect in flavor and texture. This is a first rate restaurant which is highly recommended by The Doctor, Notorious MD. We parked in a crowded public lot across the street from the restaurant. Probably could have walked from our inn but too cold and potentially rainy that night.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing! The staff was so kind and the food was unbelievable! Make sure you call to make reservations as they do not open everyday! We were lucky enough to get an 8pm indoor reservation on our last night here (Wednesday) and I'm so happy we did! We had the meatballs, cod and the short ribs.. all was so good but that short rib was my favorite- very tender and so good w the mash potatoes. Try not to load up on the delicious bread bc the coconut cream pie was out of this world and wish I ordered one more to go so that we could have taken it home!

Yelp
I have eaten here in the past and I liked it. However, I called to make a reservation a few days ago and their recording indicated that they were fully booked for the whole racing season. What's going on?
