Visited in July 2012 — A tucked-away osteria just off Viale Tiberio in Rimini, with warm indoor dining and a small outdoor terrace. The chitarre crudaiola (home-made spaghetti with tomato, black olives, tuna, pine nuts, herbs) was beautifully proportioned, the sauce emulsified into harmony. Nearly perfect, but let down by pre-cooked tuna and middling olives (8.5/10). The piadina was a revelation — warm, crisp-edged, moist inside — simple food executed with love, a full 10/10. Coniglio (boneless rabbit served cold with ginger sauce) was reference-level: layered flavours, careful balance of texture, one of the finest rabbit dishes I’ve had. Service began brisk but softened, and house-made fennel digestif plus complimentary biscuits closed the evening generously. If I return to Rimini, this will be my first stop for dinner.
