Very excellent service, atmosphere, and food. We opted to sit outside and it was a lovely evening. Our service was exceptional and very personable. The food was enjoyable and adventurous. Our standouts tonight: vignarola (braised spring vegetables with a duck, egg and pecorino cheese sauce) and the pigeon (with carrot puree, a pastry with the pigeon liver), also for an appetizer the rabbit with tuna sauce (coniglio tomato) epic! Fantastic time, great for, attentive staff!

Very good service and well prepared and seasoned Riso (risotto with octopus). The personnel recommended wine that suited perfect and was polite and friendly. If you pass Catello di Borilo make sure to eat at this wonderful osteria. Can highly recommend this to everyone!

Everything was exceptional- rabbit, lamb and seabass, the tiramisu was fantastic, even the bread and the olive oil was to die for, definitely recommend! The service was also incredible💕

The food is delicious, so refined and pure. The portion sizes are rather small, so you can take the opportunity to order multiple courses 😉. We drank a local wine, from this specific wine house, which was really tasty. Th waiters can also give you advise on what to order. The waiters are very friendly, take their time for your table and deliver great service. The location is really nice, just under the Castello and above the wine tasting place. We would definitely recommend!

Visiting from the UK we came across this location on a Google map search. We booked the chefs tasting menu with wine pairing and paid 80€ each. Absolutely worth every penny! The food was amazing, the wines are so delicious and our servers where patient, helpful and very knowledgeable. The restaurant is lovely and we felt very relaxed.

We had about the perfect lunch here today. The setting is of course beautiful, and nicely pleasant on a warm day in the shade. The service was very friendly, attentive and helpful. Julie, our main server was outstanding, helping with a few small requests and making some nice recommendations, and just making us feel welcome. All of the food was great. Every dish. A rarity. The black cabbage truffle flan and the spaghetti with cuttlefish were outstanding. The amberjack filet as well. Even the chicken was an interesting take. I already regret not taking photos of the menu itself to remember these all better. The only dish in need of a bit of improvement perhaps, and this is nitpicking, was the steak with truffles. It needed a bit more salt and a bit more truffles as well to help boost the flavor. Other than that, everything was great, and we finished every bite. Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality, creativity and flavors. I would not hesitate to go back or to recommend.

Excellent restaurant, beautiful setting. Food was great. Perfectly presented and prepared. Service was nice and very friendly. The ambiance is rustic but very inviting. Selection of local food is good. Amazing selection of their own wines. Must try the house olive oil is superb.

We were visiting the Castle and saw that there was a restaurant on grounds. We walked to the restaurant with a group of 7 and the staff seemed upset that we didn't have reservations. We got seated in a distant area and were ignored for large parts of the visit. Food came out in a disorganized pattern and was indicative of the staff's displeasure that we hadn't made reservations. Food was good. Environment was spectacular. Service was not good.
