We were a bit unsure after reading some of the reviews, particularly as we do not drink alcohol. In addition, a few comments suggested that the service was not always friendly.
However, after our visit for our wedding anniversary, we were most pleasantly surprised and thoroughly satisfied with the experience. The tartare offered a wonderful combination of flavours, beautifully complemented by the pickled tomato. The clam pasta was a true highlight, the clams were juicy, soft, and fresh, green sauce with a delicate note of vinegar that was both unexpected and delightful. Although there was one small fragment of shell, it did not detract from the overall freshness, it was the finest and freshest clam dish I have ever enjoyed in Germany.
The dessert, paired with candied cherry sauce, had a texture reminiscent of mochi. While slightly sweeter than my personal preference, the combination was memorable.
This restaurant is well worth visiting for an inspiring culinary experience 👍
