Modern Italian dining in a super chill vibe. The food is tasty and the service is attentive. Nice bar with great cocktails! Will definitely come back again.

Splendid dinner. Chicceti tasting option great for trying out a taste of the variety of allergist on offer- octopus, potato, with green and black olives; shatteringly crispy gnocco with silky capicola, peachy-orangey floral marmalade; today's special of fried crispy pork belly chunks with marinated pickled peach atop buttery polenta. Main entrée also a special of gnocchi verde with handpicked crab meat, season fresh shaved asparagus, rich savory bechamel. Dessert of pistachio cream carrot cake (such rich cream more like custard, doughy tender moist cake) with chocolate pearls and pistachio gelato. Sparkler candy for the cake to celebrate the special occasion. Super professional staff. Our superb waiter Brian K was utterly professional and anticipated and accommodated not only needs but also preferences. Tremendously patient with answering menu questions and sharing guidance. Helped make for a standout dining experience.

You're in for a treat here! The food is dependably delicious, and the service is always top-notch. Last night, Chef Kevin blew us away with an incredible appetizer (see photo). For our main course, the NY steak with crispy potatoes and asparagus was simply amazing.

Google
Amazing restaurant. First time here and we were very impressed and will definitely be back! Service was exceptional as were all the drinks and food! Highlights were definitely the patatas (crispy potatoes), chicken parm, focaccia bread and bomboloni for dessert! Great experience all around

We absolutely loved the ambience, food and most importantly the bartender Noah who was knowledgeable and made us some delicious cocktails. Will definitely visit again and again

Google
WOW what an awesome find!! This restaurant is beautifully warm and cozy and makes you want to spend all night here. Especially with the piano player there- he was wonderful and added so much charm to the space. The staff is so kind and helpful from the moment you enter until you leave and the food is unbelievable! For our starters we split the melanzana and calamari; the calamari was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. It was absolutely perfect! The melanzana was truly out of this world. We had no idea what to expect flavor wise, especially since it was described as smoked eggplant, but it was one of the best items we had this evening. For my main course I had the cappelletti which was also very delicious, although I thought the amount of truffle was a little overwhelming, I still ate every bit of the dish. We meant to ask if the pasta was all made in house, because it was some of the best pasta I’ve ever had hands down. Finally, for dessert we split the budino and bomboloni. The bomboloni was warm and decadent, and the presentation of it was super cute. As for the budino, I can’t say this enough, but DO NOT SPLIT IT. Having to share this dessert was the hardest part of this meal because it was the most delicious dessert I’ve ever had, truly. I would honestly come back here JUST to get that. If I could give 10 stars for this place I would. I had the best time here and can’t wait to come back!

Google
This is a very reliable spot in Bernardsville with very good pastas and a comfortable atmosphere. We used to go here quite a bit but not so much in the last couple years. The food is very good - good pastas, the Romana salad was great (a nice light Caesar salad without all the heavy thick dressing that some places use.). The service has always been very good here. It seems to have gotten more expensive in the last few years…but still worth a visit every now and then. UPDATED REVIEW AFTER RENOVATION: We stopped in again to check it out after they recently did some work to refurbish the dining room. The highlight is definitely a slightly larger bar area with a couple added high top tables - great if you want to stop in for a quick bite and a drink. The food definitely seems to have gotten more expensive again.

Google
What an amazing restaurant, from beginning to end of dinner service! Went for my second anniversary dinner and had a SPECTACULAR TIME. The ambience of the restaurant is very inviting, homely and elegant all at once. Our server, Cass (who told us she normally works bar, but was waitressing that night) was super friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout dinner. We started off with a delicious focaccia bread served with an olive oil spread, along with a calamari dish breaded in-house that was also fantastic. For dinner, I had a tagliatelle bolognese that was incredibly savory and freshly made as well. My partner also had a classic spaghetti and meatballs dish that was super tasty as well. For dessert, Cass brought us complimentary champagne to go along with the gelato/sorbet we both ordered (chocolate, hazelnut gelato and blood orange sorbet) that capped off what was such a perfect anniversary experience. This place is an absolute gem— delicious food, attentive waitstaff, generous portions, reasonably priced. Do not miss out on the opportunity to stop here should you find yourself in the area! 😊🍝

Yelp
Don't let the location fool you, tucked around the corner of a strip mall this amazing restaurant is a hidden gem! Mouthwatering small plates, delicious mock & cocktails, and attentive service. We had a leisurely dinner filled with great dishes and a warm atmosphere! Will be back soon.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!! The service was immaculate, the waiter was very attentive and offered recommendations on the menu. The mini appetizer bites (not pictured) were unique (Brussels sprouts were bomb!!). For mains, we tried the ragu (gnocchi but can sub for rigatoni), the tagliatelle bolognese, and pumpkin ravioli. Everything was delicious. The pastas are homemade and you can really taste the difference. We had tiramisu and affogato for dessert, the gelato was very smooth. Overall, amazing place! Very nice interior as well.

Yelp
We enjoyed Thanksgiving here. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The set menu had delicious choices with generous portions. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
We had such a great experience! Last night we dined here, they have just undergone some renovations, & I was very impressed. The ambiance is now warm and inviting! They created a cozy atmosphere ideal for both intimate dinners & lively gatherings. The service was exceptional; the staff was friendly, attentive, & genuinely passionate about the menu. They made great recommendations & ensured we felt well taken care of throughout our meal. As for the food, it was a delightful journey through Italian flavors. We ordered the pasta flight! The pasta was fresh & the flavorful sauces, each dish was beautifully presented and packed with authentic taste. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit. The renovations & new menu have truly elevated the experience, & I can't wait to return to explore more of their delicious dishes!

Yelp
Food was spectacular. Our server was the right amount of attentive. I had the Cacio Pepe and added 2 shrimp. Pasta was perfect and the grilled shrimp was among the best I've ever eaten. The only downside was the volume of the live music. It was a 6 pm reservation and there were other tables of larger groups. We wanted to talk to catch up. We asked our server to ask the musician to lower the volume. Either she did t ask or he didn't listen. This would have been a 5/5 rating but if you can't enjoy your companion time, it's not as much fun.

Yelp
I was visiting from out of town, and my friend who lives in NJ had heard about this restaurant through a friend, so she made us a reservation. It's tucked away next to a pizza place, which I think has the same owner, as the 2 spots are connected inside. I was a bit disappointed with our waiter. He lacked enthusiasm, which was okay, but even when I asked for recommendations, he just said everything was good without offering anything specific. I ordered the Tagliatelle bolognese, parmigiano. It looked beautiful, but unfortunately was very salty - tasty but i felt thirsty for hours afterward. We shared a dessert, the tiramisu, which was delicious, and my drink was strong and well-made. The inside was smaller than I thought it would be, which made it quaint, but the table we sat at was strange. Two of us on chairs and 2 of us on the seated soft bench. But it was supposedly 3 on chairs and 1 on bench. A bit strange. I'm torn about giving this restaurant a 4-star rating; it's more of a 3.5 in my book.

Yelp
Good find! Food was great! They were a little short staffed the night we went, but they all worked so hard to make it amazing.

Yelp
Food 5 Service 5 Ambiance 5 Decor 5 Went on the Sunday of Valentine's Day a few wknds ago, 6:30pm reservation. Place was pretty packed. We were initially sat at a tiny table close to the front door, next to an olive tree. It was an awkwardly placed table since it felt like the tree was almost on top of you. We asked our server if we could sit at the bar since there were empty seats and she said no problem. So glad we decided to sit at the bar because we got to chat with our server Cass, who was so lovely and attentive! After telling her it was our 1st time, she explained how they recently renovated, added more tables but haven't gotten additional servers yet so she apologized in advance for that. We ordered: Apps- Melanzane, calamari, Romana salad Entrees- tagliatelle, tortelloni I asked Cass if they made their pasta in-house and she said some are and some aren't. Luckily the ones we chose were made in house and boy were they scrumptious! The tagliatelle was perfectly al dente and the sauce was so savory and meaty. My only slight critique on the tortelloni was that it could have used another 30 seconds/ minute boiled. My husband liked it and thought the consistency was great. I'm quite particular about my pasta as I lived in Italy and can be nit picky lol All the apps were wonderful and quickly devoured. Calamari was the most tender I've ever had! Our server apologized that our pasta took longer than expected to come out so they comped our dessert which was greatly appreciated. The bomboloni is aMUST ORDER! Overall, service was great even though they were understaffed. We certainly didn't feel affected by it since Cass was so attentive. Will we return to osteria morini? Heck yes!

Yelp
We went to Happy Hour and were pleasantly surprised. Gust the restaurant ambiance is very upscale, although a somewhat casual setting. Service is 5 Stars and the food choices optimal. We are planning to revisit soon....

Yelp
We finally made it here, what a wonderful experience. Very nice cozy dining-room, our server was very welcoming and explained menu and mentioned their house made pastas. The oysters were delicious, very fresh and the tomato mignonette was so good! Chicken Parmesan was a very nice portion, cooked to perfection. The Chittara seafood pasta was exquisite.

Harald L.

Yelp
Two of the vegetarian pasta dishes we ordered resembled mac and cheese. Bar prices were notably high.

Amanda F.

Yelp
We had high expectations when we walked into the restaurant, but we were sorely disappointed. We waited for 15 minutes after being seated for our waitress to say hello or take our drink order before walking out. She came over once to let us know she would be right over while continuing to serve two other (much larger) tables, instead of taking the time to introduce herself or take our drink order. We didn't even get so much as a glass of water.

Yelp
Monday night is $15 pasta night for all the pasta dishes on the menu except any pasta specials and the seafood pasta. All the pasta is homemade and truly amazing and has just the Perfect amount of sauce. We've been twice on Monday. Gnocchi is fabulous, also loved tagliatelle bolognese, want to try pork ragu next time. Had boudin fr dessert, sort of like a chocolate mousse pudding with layers of crushed chocolate cookies with vanilla gelato. Good but very sweet. There is caramel sauce on top which is too sweet. Ask for the caramel sauce on side or without. I think it would better. Rustic and casual but still nice with white table cloths. The booths are very cozy. The first time we were here we had the delicious bread?with olive oil /pesto mix for dipping. Now instead of free bread you need order the focaccia..

Yelp
Attended Osteria Morini for an event and let me say that the food was 5 and so were the drinks. I started with the BenardsApolitan and I recommend to all. Just a great drink all around. Not too weak, but not too strong and just refreshing all around. I couldn't get enough. The pasta bolognese (Tagliatelle) is some of the best I ever had. The pasta was home made and the bolognese sauce complimented the dish to perfection. The cappelletti was delicious with truffled ricotta and topped with prosciutto and a butter sauce. As if that wasn't enough. They are linked to Nicolette's a pizza shop. The pizza was excellent. Thin crisp crust with fresh ingredients and overall mountains of flavor. The wings and garlic knots were just as great. I will definitely return for dinner and make sure to recommend it to all. Italian food made right with all fresh ingredients! Delizioso!!!!!

Yelp
I've been here twice now and thought the food was very good, but it is quite expensive and I don't feel you get a lot for the money. For an Italian restaurant it serves no bread which I thought was strange. Both times I had noting left over to take home despite sharing a salad appetizer and having an entree. Didn't drink or have dessert and the bill was $140. The restaurant is pretty and the service was good. They also have a pizza place next door if you are so inclined.

Yelp
Delicious food, especially the homemade pastas, and excellent service! We shared a couple of things which they kindly split into two bowls for us for making sharing easier, such a nice touch.

Yelp
Second time at this location for their pasta making class and was so impressed. This is easily my favorite Italian restaurant as it is consistently so good and fresh. Closest thing to Italy in the US! The pastas are unreal, always freshly made with beautiful sauces. Don't skip dessert, the tiramisu and donuts are to die for. I can't wait to go backkkkkkk

Yelp
Place is good. Service is good. Restaurant is cozy. Have been twice and both meals have been very good. Cocktails also very good. Not a ton of good Italian places have liquor license so we are always happy when a good place does. Cacio e pepe and the tagliatelle both hit the spot.

Yelp
Excellent bar menu & wine. The service couldn't have been better, and the food was delicious!!

Yelp
The quickest item that showed up at our table on Monday night was the ck. Bryan, (bless his heart) did remember us fondly, but we were not in his section. It wasn't busy at 5 pm, but took about 10 minutes to be approached by service. OM discontinued their bread. Instead, for $6 you can order Focaccia. Our meal arrived before the bread. Granted, we ordered the meal first, not knowing that we wouldn't get bread, but really the meal could have been held a few minutes. The spinach beneath the Chicken Parm was so very salty that I could not eat it. And I'm the queen of salt. I just filled up my salt shaker today. The Mgr offered to replace the Spinach, but I can eat piecemeal at home. The Gnocchi was just ok. Rarely are poor service and a bad meal intentional. But judging from the thin crowd, maybe OM needs to bring back the bread. At least we would have had something to gnaw on while awaiting our delayed Valentine's dinner. Sorry guys, but I liked u better before. It was a disappointing culinary evening. But, on the plus side OM does have a cloak room!

Yelp
Osteria Morini nails everything from service to ambiance--truly a gem. Please bring back the garganelli--I'd dine here every week for that dish :)

Rob L.

Yelp
food was fine service was awful $7 for 3 pcs of bread? with so many better local options I will not be returning.. entrees were very overpriced too ambiance was terrible
google avatar

Jim S.

Yelp
The service was 4 star the food was not. The prosciutto was awesome to start. Fried calamari was very good as well. The meatballs were just ok not my favorite. The cappelletti - truffles ricotta ravioli had to much butter. The Bistecca/Ribeye for me was tough and not cooked properly. The chicken parm was pretty good. The Chittara-lobster and shrimp pasta I think would be better without tarragon. I'm just not a fan of tarragon as a spice with that dish otherwise it would have been great.(that might just be me) Not sure if I would come back unless they changed the menu around a bit. Need some other options .

Hope G.

Yelp
We've been dining at Osteria Moroni for years, always enjoying the food, ambiance, and service. Recently, they changed the menu, and I was disappointed to see the garganelli with peas and prosciutto in mushroom sauce removed. I also dislike the change to the bataliardo--it used to offer a choice of cheeses and meats, but now there's only one option. While I understand the need for updates, it's nice to keep some favorites.

Yelp
First time here and everything was perfect. Food was 10 out of 10 my friends told me about this place and I wish I had came sooner. I will be returning in the near future.

Tamara V.

Yelp
We came here to celebrate my birthday and so glad we did. I am looking forward to going back for so many reasons. The quality of food, the service, everything was perfect.

Liz D.

Yelp
We've been coming here for many years. They just did a minor reno, which looks great. They also did a minor menu redo -- BUT, they took the garganelli truffle pasta dish off the menu! It was my absolute favorite and generally the reason that I wanted to come here. The appies were great (focaccia, cauliflower, chopped salad). Gnocchi pasta dish was great. Caccio e pepe way over salted. Cocktails great as always -- love the bar staff here.

Maty M.

Yelp
Saturday night before Christmas. No dinner entree specials. Felt very non celebratory. Drink prices are crazy high. Bill was stupid high for nothing special. It's North Jersey they should up their game to edge out others. And it's a strip mall. Nothing too special.

Josefine M.

Yelp
First time dining here - nice ambiance and very friendly staff. Good portion size with everything. We enjoyed the entrées more than the apps. The burrata was a little bland, it could've used some kind of dressing. Meatballs were good but could've used more red sauce. They bring an oil dipping sauce with rosemary for bread. Rosemary flavor was nice, but I'm not sure that it was olive oil, it was almost clear in color and didnt taste like olive oil. Don't really care to dip bread in anything other than olive oil. Garganelli was great, almost like a truffle Alfredo sauce. Truffle flavor was there but not intense. Duck was great overall. Dessert - tiramusa was some of the best I've had. Also tried the lemon olive oil ice cream, it was good - mostly just tasted like lemon. Will definitely be back to try more items.

Yelp
I have eaten both here and in their NY location numerous times. Saturday night I thought I was meeting my brother & sister-n-law, friend & her husband for a belated birthday dinner. We had a 7:45 reservation, we arrived a 7:35 & walked into a fourteen friends smiling at me, to my shock! We took up the back wall of the restaurant and hopefully weren't too loud for the other patrons? What I thought would be a catch up dinner turned into another birthday party, which was wonderful. Brian, who waited on us, and whom is also their sommelier was absolutely wonderful. With added help from Jason, their general manager; we were well taken care of! I have to admit we may have had a wee bit of special attention since 10 of us happened to go to high school with Morini's executive chef Bill Dorrler (3 of us since grade school.) My brother or sister-n-law, not sure which, had prepared a special family style menu with the restaurant prior to us all arriving. Everyone was so impressed and no one left hungry. In fact I think all of us left with a doggie bag. We had a four course meal, a Prosecco toast, cocktails, wine, after dinner drinks & coffee. I don't think I ate again until Sunday night. Below was our customized menu: Antipasti Polpettine - prosciutto & mortadella meatballs (to die for) Burrata - creamy mozzarella, pickled beet carpaccio, pistachio.... (amazing) Polipo - grilled octopus, braised radicchio, cannellini beans (best octopus I've ever eaten, so tender) Pasta Rigatoni - bolognese Capeletti - truffled ricotta, melted butter, prosciutto (my hands down favorite pasta dish here) Mezzaluna - roasted squash filled pasta, brown butter, hazelnuts, parmigiana Pietanze Pollo al Forno - herb roasted chicken, roasted brussel sprouts, leaks ... (I can't get enough of leeks & little balls of hate) Branzino - grilled sea bass, farro, butternut squash, kale, pomegranate (absolutely delicious) Maiale - espresso rubbed pork chop, beetroot juice confit garlic, cocoa balsamic glaze (awesome) Dolci Torta Di Olio - orange olive oil cake, seasonal fruit, sweet vanilla cream Bomboloni - citrus-scented ricotta doughnuts, with caramel & chocolate dipping sauces I didn't eat dessert, I was too full. By the way everyone else was eating them like it was their last ever sweet they'd ever get, I'd say they were very good! For the first time ever I didn't take any pictures of the food, I think I was just in such shock that all these people were there for me! Come to think of it I believe I'm usually too busy digging into what's put in front of me, in all the times I've been to any of Michael Whites establishments I can't recall taking photos - from now on I will!

Yelp
Coming off the new restaurant high of the Garden City Osteria Morini, I'm staying in Jersey this week. Sure enough there's a restaurant in Bernardsville so I made a dinner reservation on National Pasta Day. Pulling up, I see Nicoletta? I've been to the village location years ago, I actually saw Chef Michael White working and introduced myself. A few months later I received the Yelp ROTD, the food was that good. Walking in, the restaurant is getting ready for the dinner crowd. The wait staff is hustling about so I placed my order for Polpettine which is prosciutto and mortadella meatballs braised in pomodoro. Oh baby! The meatballs come to me, after a few bites I'm spitting out bone pieces? I wasn't a fan of this dish. My main dish comes next. I was all set to order the lasagna but the Agnolotti was calling me. Wild boar and tomato conserva-filled pasta topped with a cremini mushroom sugo. Sold! What's nice, I was able to order a half dish, the meatballs were filling. The pasta purses were filled with this amazing meat filling and the cremini mushroom sauce? Deelish! A total home run from my favorite chef. Man, this dish is pure gold in my book. I'll try the lasagna when I'm back on my home turf. As far as the restaurant layout, it was nice but the DC and Garden City locations have a much more modern vibe. Just passing thru folks, I had a nice meal on National pasta day at Osteria Moroni.

Yelp
Osteria Morini fantastic as usual - I see I left a review on Yelp 5 years ago for my birthday and I'm sure I've been back between that time and last night - it's a little more pricey than our usual fare as we prefer byob places but the food here is never a disappointment - I had the gnocchi this time around and my husband who does not eat meat had the eggplant meatballs and spaghetti both fantastic - the sauce on my meal was really flavorful - we shared a caesar salad appetizer which we great as there were no other appetizers we could share this time around - over all service was terrific - our server was very attentive and pleasant - can't wait for my next birthday celebration!
google avatar

Frank A.

Yelp
Osteria Morini in Bernardsville is not exactly the same as the one in Soho, but it is certainly the best Italian restaurant in the area. The cocktails are very good as is the wine list. The pasta dishes are the stars although the items off the grill are good too. Great place for a relaxing meal.

Len W.

Yelp
I enjoy writing positive reviews of restaurants that are deserving. Had I had the option to have my reservation honored, perhaps this would be different. I made a reservation on 1/25 for Thursday, 2/22, nearly a month in advance. I received a call from the restaurant the night before to confirm and at that time they said they were having a price fixe $150/person Tuscan wine dinner that evening. This was not what I made the reservation for, Just a nice anniversary dinner for 2. I said I was not interested in the Tuscan event and I was told the manager would call me later. Never got a call, but at 8:30pm the night before our reservation I received an email canceling our reservation. I called and left a message asking for a call back to discuss the cancellation, but nobody ever reached out. This is an awful way to conduct business. We were very much looking forward to our anniversary dinner and were left stuck without a reservation anywhere. Not sure when they decided to have this Tuscan dinner, but they certainly should have notified those who reserved not knowing there was an event. What a shame.

Yelp
Delicious food as expected by an Altamareagroup restaurant. The surprise was our server and soon-to-be sommelier "Brian". He exceeded expectations with food recommendations and wine pairings to match. This is a "find" in bernardsville, nj.

Yelp
This is my favorite Italian in jersey by far . I always have the grilled Bronzino which I find delicious as it is served whole and perfectly cooked !

Yelp
I'm just blown away by this place! The homemade pastas are unbelievable and cooked perfectly! The meatball appetizer was ridiculously good. Even the bread was amazing! My son's kid sized chicken parm was only $12 yet looked like an adult portion. Dessert, cappuccino, drinks, all A+. And exceptional service on top of that! Cannot wait to go back!

Yelp
Wow hot hot hot. The AC needs a massive upgrade. Don't go on a day over 80 degrees. Food was very good, service excellent. But management refuses to upgrade the AC for some reason. Too bad.

Yelp
Visited on Sunday July 23rd with my date. Would have given it 4 stars, but had to take away a couple stars due to a bad experience shortly after being seated. I found Morini via an advertisement for the Bernardsville Restaurant Week 2023 (I have not heard of it before). I looked on the Morini restaurant website to take a look at their Restaurant Week Menu and confirm the dates they posted for Restaurant Week. The MORINI website showed Restaurant Week as Thursday July 13 - Sunday July 23 (as seen in first photo posted). So I made a reservation for Sunday July 23 to try their Restaurant Week Menu. When we arrived and were seated, I noticed we received the regular dinner menu (as seen in 2nd photo posted) but not the restaurant week menu, so I asked for it. I was told by our server (I believe her name as Abbie), that Restaurant Week ended the day before (Saturday July 22). I could have sworn I read it correctly on the Morni website so I pulled it up on my phone and sure enough, the Morini Restaurant website showed Restaurant Week Thursday July 13 - Sunday July 23. I was trying to show it to our server Abbie and this other server walking by (big tall guy) stops mid-walk and says in a really condescending and negative tone "Restaurant Week ended yesterday"... and he proceeds to repeat these 4 words over and over again while I'm trying to explain the MORINI Restaurant website shows it going thru Sunday July 23 to our server. Then he ends with "we don't even have the ingredients to make that menu." First of all, I wasn't demanding to have the Restaurant Week menu... I was just trying to point out the discrepancy between what the Restaurant posted online and what I was being told while there. Secondly, who is this other server to be talking to me with such a negative attitude as he's walking across the dining room? As if simply repeating the 4 words "Restaurant Week ended yesterday" repeatedly WHILE I'm trying to speak to my server is going to make me understand it any better, or that this behavior is even acceptable?!?! Then a lady (who looked like a manager, was dressed differently from the servers) came over to our table and said "I'm sorry we ended Restaurant Week yesterday, we don't have the ingredients to make the menu". Ok, fine... then I look at the offerings on the Restaurant Week Menu and the Regular Dinner menu we were given that night, and the only dish that was on the Restaurant Week Menu and not on Dinner Menu was the Cozze (mussels appetizer). Everything else on that menu was on the dinner menu we were given that night... so to say they didn't have the ingredients to make the Restaurant Week menu was (in my opinion) a stretch. Could have easily substituted the mussels for another appetizer (like calamari) or something if they ran out of mussels. But whatever, as I stated before, I wasn't trying to fight to get the Restaurant Week menu offered to me, I was simply just trying to make the Restaurant aware of the discrepancy between what was posted on it's own website and what was being told to customers. I did not appreciate, and took great offense to how I was talked to and treated by that other server who felt the need to interject into the conversation I was trying to have with MY server, Abbie. It was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I didn't make a scene, food was good, Abbie provided good service, but after this experience with the other server, it's really deterred me from wanting to return or recommending it to others.

Yelp
Love this place. Food and service have always been top-notch. The service is never rushed, even at a Christmas Eve dinner. Our server Brian is always fantastic, and has even spoken to my sister-in-law in Polish. She's Ukrianian and I think she loves the fact that someone would go to the trouble of speaking to her in a language she's comfortable with. Much appreciated.

Yelp
We stopped in for an early Sunday supper recently. Our last visit had not impressed us but all was well this Sunday. Even though it was early, the place was jammed and very loud. If you are looking for quiet conversation, this is not your place. If you are looking for good pours on wine, excellent pastas and well prepared Branzino, then by all means, make a reservation here. There were some appealing specials, veal chops, dry aged ribeye. My kind of fare. Maybe we caught Osteria Morini on a bad night several years ago. No complaints this evening. Everything was delicious. Pastas were cooked beautifully and my Dad's Branzino was spot on. We'll be back sooner rather than later.

Yelp
Smallish brunch menu but each item was excellent. Calamari was light. Pasta was fresh. Desserts were amazing. Service was attentive and friendly. Decor inside was cute... strip mall location not the best but hey... NJ.

Yelp
Attended a Yelp event a few months ago here where I tasted a lot of the food & enjoyed it so much that I had to bring my husband so that he could try it out too. Happy to say that it was a fantastic meal! We started out having a glass of house Italian wine at the bar - their house Montepulciano is so good! I can't tell you how many times the house wine is often blah. The place has an open kitchen & we were seated a table with a good view of it. There are a lot of people who work here & the service was spot on! We got the water quickly as well as the bread with a tasty bean dip instead of fattening butter - loved it! We tried the meatball app (wow - you have to get it- 5 meatballs! Great serving) & a cheese & meat platter with beautiful pieces of the cheese & meat & thick crunchy bread w/holes in it. We took half of all this home as I needed to save room for the entree's. I had squid ink pasta (pasts is all homemade by the way) with ground up shrimp & calamari - which was excellent & my husband had the chicken & thoroughly enjoyed it. Dessert was coffee & tiramisu. I've had better tiramisu but still, it was good. An extremely enjoyable experience - go check it out! Ciao!

Yelp
This has become our regular Friday night spot. The servers, hosts, bartenders, and managers are excellent and make us feel special each time we come. Now on to the food. Cant go wrong with the charcuterie and the Calamari is executed perfectly each time. The pasta is made in house. Make plans to try each one...they are all great. Here's a secret menu item...order the meatballs with burrata on tip as an appetizer or side dish. It's amazing. Chef keeps it fresh with seasonal specialties that hit each time.
