Yelp
TL DR; Food good enough, many unforced errors in the rest of the experience. Other places can do better.
They offered online reservations because of COVID, which went smoothly. We were greeted promptly, and, down in a nearly empty room, led to the table closest to the kitchen entry door, where all the dirty plates would be wafting by - how charming. Happily, they were gracious about moving us, but really. There are good and bad tables in a room, but to seat us in the worst table right off the bat was awkward.
The awkwardness continued when the wine and beer menu had obviously worked over by the Manipulative Marketing team to remove the prices from the beer and wine selections (it was so minimal, they didn't even say what the units were: cans, draft, glasses, or bottles.) This is such a crude piece of social engineering designed to boost checks.
So yes, we were dicks and made our server get all the red wine prices - which actually had a staggering range!
The wine was ok.
The food was very good. We asked to share a caprese salad, and our server nicely brought it on two plates. The caprese salad was outstanding - danced on the taste buds. I think they mixed lemon in with the balsamic, and it was tangy. The mozzarella was creamy, the tomatoes were - well, it's November, but they were creditable.
I had the fruitti di mare, which came with a fra-diavolo sauce, which was not quite as zippy as I'm used to, but OK.
We had to wait way too long for the server to pick up the check.
