"An old building next to the Roman bridge Ponte Pietra, with a couple of romantic small balconies overlooking the river. Charming dining rooms provide the backdrop for regional cuisine with creative touches and a carefully selected wine list. An attractive apartment is also available for anyone wish to extend their stay here." - Michelin Inspector

It’s right by Ponte Pietra, a beautiful scenic bridge crossing the river. It has a small outdoor patio seatings as well. It’s one of the more expensive restaurants I visited. I had fresh pasta pappadelle. I would have loved to try the risotto but it requires minimum two people and I was traveling alone. The pasta was great and the kumquat gave it a unique taste. For the main entree I had rhombus, turbot fish. It’s an interesting taste and I wasn’t sure if I liked it yet. For dessert I had cheesecake. It was good but I wouldn’t say it’s special.

Fabulous food, atmosphere, service, location, wine cellar. Even the loo is a spectacle (right in the basement)! We had turbot and spaghetti (not together). A little jewel of an eatery with a gorgeous view

Great restaurant in Verona, the risoto was amazing, beef tartar should have being more elaborated with better seasoning options like capers, quail eggs and toasts. The check came with a 3 euros charge for the olive oil… this I have never seen before on any restaurant, the owner should rethink this charge, does not make sense, I felt bad about this charge.

Summary - Excellent food and a great wine selection. This little restaurant is a must see when visiting Verona. It's location is right on a the river and inside there is a sense of warmth and coziness. The tables inside are nice but we managed to get one of the tables on the veranda by the river which provided great views. There are only a few so if you want to dine outside get there early or call ahead. The food was very flavorful and the ingredients were fresh. All of the dishes we had were exceptional. The wine list was extensive and one of our servers recommende a bottles of amazing regional wine that we enjoyed. Our servers were very personable and friendly, they provided excellent suggestions based on our food preferences.

Amazing view if you sit on the balcony by the river. Our waitress was lovely, jolly and attentive. They have outdoor heating which makes all the food look red. Don’t order the steak. Despite being medium rare, it was extremely chewy. I’ve had better steaks at flat iron for a fraction of the price. The roast potatoes were the highlight of the dish. The lobster pasta contained a generous serving of lobster and the scallops were an interesting starter with the spinach. I’d come back for the view.

It's a beautiful place to eat. We sat downstairs, in a lovely snug next to the river. The staff were very friendly (and funny!), and knowledgeable. I made a huge mistake with the food. I had a very lovely beef steak with baked potatoes, which was great. My friend had the Iberian Pork and let me try some, and MY GOD it was the nicest thing I've eaten in years. The waiter recommended it, and he was spot on. It was beautifully smoked and tasted absolutely unbelievable. My mistake was that I wish I'd listened to the waiter! I would definitely come back here if I visit again. Loved it.

Food definitely tastes great, but it came out slowly, even for salad and cheese. Also there isn’t air conditioning in door (or there is, but just not cold enough). Anyhow, it’s a big hit for dining in summer night, making it difficult to enjoy the food.

If you manage to get a seat outside at the river: you can't get a better view of the ponte Pietro. The food is absolutely outstanding. We ate here two nights in a row because we liked it so much. If you are so lucky as having Olena as your sommelier, then your you're in for a treat. She knows the vast wine list well, and helped us get some very special local wines for the evening. When we return to Verona, we'll definitely dine here again
