Absolutely fantastic experience well worth the hassle of coming from Atrani.
We came for a wine tasting / lunch / tour of the vineyard. Total price for the 3 was 75€. We also bought a bottle of rosé each for 15.
All the wine is organice and the vineyard is family run and owned by the chef or the restaurant, Luigi. His brother Cayetano also helps out in the vineyard and with the tours.
The spot is secluded, quiet at lunch time and has fantastic views of The Valley and he mountain.
As you can see from the photos, we had plenty of food and 4 different types of wine: a lovely crisp clean white, an excellent rosé which I am developing and affinity for. And 2 reds. The last red is 7 years matured and 50€ a bottle. They only produce around 1200 bottles of this higher end res, so quite reasonably priced in the grand scheme of things.
The cellar and old cellar are small but charming and we also got to see the oldest vine, which is 300 years old.
Very enjoyable experience and the highlight for us was Cayetano, who was so kind and helpful and brought us back to Maori himself since it took us so long to get there with the bus.
Would definitely return for another meal and much more wine!!
