For a really nice inland meal, Reale is wonderful. Their timballo of wild greens and sausage, cavatelli with potatoes cooked in terracotta, and braised pork with sundried tomatoes and olives is a window into what the food of the Amalfi Coast was before commercial fishing, refrigeration, and ice arrived in the mid-20th century.

We went for lunch and ate outside in the garden. It was the perfect afternoon, food was delicious and the service was great. Each dishes ingredients were explained and they were beautifully presented. Their wines are flavorful and complement the menu. The staff are friendly and accommodating.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Osteria Reale was our lunch stop on a wine tour during vacation. Our guide planned a tasting and lunch with the team here and it was wonderful. 🤩

6 stars. Absolutely amazing experience. The food was so incredible that we ordered the main course again. Service was good and deserts were interesting but the meat, especially the pork, were simply stellar.

Amazing winery and restaurant. Run by a wonderful family with amazing views of the mountains. Not to be missed. Like eating on a movie set!

I ate here in November, off season you might say. Read about Tramonti that it's the place where you can find the best pizza. Unfortunately I had a bad one. No aroma, mushrooms out of a jar, no fresh ingredients and the worse is that the dough wasn't cooked well, tasted like gum. Ordered house wine and it was sour. Expensive and bad dinner experience.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic experience well worth the hassle of coming from Atrani. We came for a wine tasting / lunch / tour of the vineyard. Total price for the 3 was 75€. We also bought a bottle of rosé each for 15. All the wine is organice and the vineyard is family run and owned by the chef or the restaurant, Luigi. His brother Cayetano also helps out in the vineyard and with the tours. The spot is secluded, quiet at lunch time and has fantastic views of The Valley and he mountain. As you can see from the photos, we had plenty of food and 4 different types of wine: a lovely crisp clean white, an excellent rosé which I am developing and affinity for. And 2 reds. The last red is 7 years matured and 50€ a bottle. They only produce around 1200 bottles of this higher end res, so quite reasonably priced in the grand scheme of things. The cellar and old cellar are small but charming and we also got to see the oldest vine, which is 300 years old. Very enjoyable experience and the highlight for us was Cayetano, who was so kind and helpful and brought us back to Maori himself since it took us so long to get there with the bus. Would definitely return for another meal and much more wine!!
