"Situated at the top of a steep slope in Fossombrone’s beautiful historic centre, this osteria takes guests back to the 1920s thanks to its romantic decor. Here, having risen through the culinary ranks, the owner-chef makes full use of his expert techniques to create dishes that hover between tradition and a sense of fantasy using the best seasonal ingredients that the region has to offer. The concise wine list favours micro-producers and natural wines." - Michelin Inspector

A small restaurant (no more than 10 tables) with a dedicated focus on high food quality, innovative dishes, phantastic taste and local sourcing. Tied into the world of slow food. This is a gem whenever there was one. Very friendly atmosphere, relaxed eating and the feeling of a successful mix between new approaches (raw vegetables with three kind of olive oils) and traditional dishes (e.g. gnocchetti and pasta), full and rich taste of the meat probably due to slow cooking where every spoonful makes you sigh with pleasure. There are just plain wonderful dishes, and some more experimental ones (e.g. New York to Beijing) - but don't hesitate, just go there and enjoy. Prices are moderate when compared to what you get. And to help you decipher the menu: left is antipasti, right is 4 primi and 3 secondi piatti plus vegetables (which are highly recommended). Big selection of very local to Italian wines. There is a specific menu for dolci and some nice coffee surprises.

Outstanding place - lovely, intimate, tasteful setting. Food and wines are delicious and prices very fair. Highly recommended!

Pastas were excellent (we had the traditional must have of the region and the ossobuko). So was the snail barley starter. Good value for money! €37 for a tasting menu and they did not scrimp on portions - it looked like we received full portions of everything ala carte.

Wow. I can not say more. We were recommended this place by a local and it did more than impress us. The atmosphere was cosy and magical. All meals were impeccable and the service was super kind and helpful with translations where needed. At the end the cook even came out and gave us a last small desert, which was the perfect end to a perfect evening!

A place that you actually don’t want to write about because you want to keep it a secret . . . Great food with seasonal dishes and excellent service at a reasonable price. We will certainly be back next year 👍🏻👍🏻

Great little spot in the heart of Fossombrone. Charming courtyard in front makes for a lovely setting. The food is on par with the surroundings, €33 for a 4-course menu. If it's on, try the gazpacho, velvety and a deep, rich flavour of tomato and clouds of creamy burrata.
