Had a great experience buying a motorized wheelchair from Oswald. Juli Assisted me during this visit. She was very patient, knowledgeable, and very pleasant through the whole process. I needed to get a walker and a cane and went to Oswald’s Medical Supply in Naperville. Juli helped me and showed me many options and how to adjust heights, use and care. I bought a cane. She was very helpful with a walker. Tried several but they did not have the color I wanted. Called Geneva and they had the color I wanted. Fern in Geneva was very helpful in showing me How to use walker and collapse it for putting in car. They were both knowledgeable and helpful in how to use these. Thank You Ladies!

I had an excellent experience with Jackie at Oswald's Medical in Naperville when purchasing a power chair for my father on Thursday, March 26, 2025. Jackie was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and attentive throughout the entire process. She went above and beyond to ensure my father’s needs were met and helped us find the perfect power chair that offers both comfort and functionality. We purchased Pride Jazzy Ultralight with the 4 year protection plan. Prior to going to the store, I spoke to Karen, who provided us detailed information on equipment that they had in stock. Jackie’s expertise and genuine care made what could have been a daunting decision, an enjoyable and seamless experience. My Dad and I are truly grateful for Jackie’s, and I highly recommend her and Oswald's Medical to anyone in need of excellent service and quality medical equipment. Becky and Katie from postal are great and so helpful! They also just got the ability to scan QR codes! Oswald’s has wonderful staff and an absolutely awesome kids/toy department!

Oswald Pharmacy has been my go-to USPS service station for years. Becky and the rest of the staff always greet me with a smile and provide outstanding service. They're reliable, efficient, and even open on Saturdays and Sundays — which has been incredibly convenient. I truly appreciate their dedication and consistency.

We are visiting family for our grandson’s graduation. Wife out walking and tripped. Cracked her kneecap. Needed immediate help and referred to Oswald’s. Purchased an expensive walker but it was perfect for our needs. We could have gone elsewhere but our daughter-in-law suggested Oswald’s. Walked in and immediately were assisted by a staff member and never pushed us one way or the other. We saw and liked the quality of walkers but we had seen many seniors where we live in Florida with the Stander walker. We bought it and used it the past couple days. Love it and fully satisfied with doing business with Oswald’s. Thank you!

Simply the best! They deliver medications if you need them, they have a robust durable medical equipment section, and they have a fantastic old timey store up front. It's my go-to store for stocking stuffers, birthday gift, and local nostalgia items. Pro tip: They have a USPS branch in the back!

Love the gift are that also has items about the Naperville and surrounding areas. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I appreciate access to the postiffice services inside. The medical supply section is jam packed with helpful items and staff there is also knowledgeable and helpful.

This post office was recommended to me by a local public library as being a place where I could still take a tax return to have it postmarked on April 15 when I arrived about 10 minutes before they closed. They told me that anything that came in after 3 PM today was going to be postmark tomorrow. I was so disappointed. The woman at the service counter seemed almost happy to postmark my envelope 4/16 and tell me that I now was going to be subject to a penalty. Maybe their service is good otherwise but beware if you have to have something postmarked the same day.

After months of talking to Oswald's pharmacy about my new rollator being a lemon(brakes bad, back strap broken) the vendor has replaced the equipment. It is noticeably safer than the "lemon" I had gotten. So glad it's now resolved and I have a safe product I can rely on.

Katie and Becky are great employees. They always greet me with a smile and provide great customer service. I have shipped out many items through the store and have had no issues.

Great pharmacy. The pharmacist was so helpful & understanding. I loved all the gifts and unusual things. The pharmacy was clean, well stocked, and organized. It is just a great place.

I still shop at Oswald's frequently, but was back on the medical supply side today to buy a new tip for the cane I bought here a couple years ago. The two staff members who helped me were so friendly and on the ball. At first they realized the tip I needed was out of stock so were going to order one, which would have been fine. But then one quick-thinking fellow realized that the right type was on one of the canes they had, and was able to remove it and sell it to me right then. Thank you for saving me time and a trip! Oswald's staff is the best.

Unfortunately had a terrible experience. I rented an ice machine to take to my Mom who had a hip replacement. When I got it, it had water in it and they gave me the pad to go with it in a bag. I paid $50 for the ice maker rental and $68 for the attachment pad. When we got to the hospital, they noted that the ice maker did not work as it had a significant leak. Unfortunately, we had to purchase an entire new ice machine in the hospital for $150. When I went to return the machine and pad to Oswalds, they would not take the pad back, even though it was returned exactly as it was given to me and never used. So I was out $68 for something that was unusuable because they gave me a defective machine plus $150 for a new machine. Terrible service with two managers who were clearly not interested in the fact that the machine never worked and what a pain it was to have to get a new one in the hospital. Though I always like to support small businesses, I will not return here.

I bought a lift chair that the memory foam in the seat and on the foot rest sunk. I paid $90 to have there service rep come out and look at it and he said he never seen that happen before. He said he was going to call the manufacturer pride and Richard said it wasn't covered. I can't use the chair and I bought another chair ( not from them ) and this isn't over

I have visited Owalds on several occasions. The selection of merchandise is abundant and the staff are fabulous. I especially want to mention Dorothy and her great service in the post office!! I will be back!! KathyDunn

Needed a rapid test for traveling, after a out of business site, run around by Walgreens my wife recommended Oswald's. One call they explained everything and scheduled me in. Then the kid testing- wow!! We all complain about Millennials but they found some Rock Stars!!!! (I think Millennials get a bad rap, more good ones than bad) These guys will be my GoTo pharmacy as long as I can make it happen. SUPER IMPRESSIVE- thank you guys!!!!

Okay, I really like using the Post Office service they offer ~ it beats the actual post office. Just an FYI ~ the table where they used to supply supplies has now been split and one is just across (behind) where the original used to be and the other is along side the actual postal area. Supplies only ~ no flat surface to work. There are marks on the floor for you to stand and that is the only reason I found the second location, but since I was next in line, I did not have enough time nor a flat surface to stuff my return into a "priority mail " envelope. Thank goodness I had a label prepared because there is no place to actually write out the label or prepare your items for mailing. Now, I am very happy that they carry the brand of Christmas Scent that I have used for years. Buy it early or it will be gone. They also had seasonal paper hand towels ~ another difficult item to find locally. And, I discovered their candles. They had short and tall ones in a variety of colors with 2 different size bases. Just so you know, they no longer rent walkers and even though they are not expensive to purchase, it was not worth the purchase price for 3 days of use following hip replacement surgery.

Recently I was helped by Samantha in the medical equipment department. I would like to highly compliment her for her time, expertise, and kindness. She taught me a "sock puppet trick" for putting on a compression sock on a seriously injured leg from a car accident. Not only did she teach me, she talked me through practicing myself several times. This procedure had taken two assistants, and a Donner- a medical equipment aid, at the hospital wound clinic. That experience resulted in more swelling and bruises. I am grateful I was taught a much easier and painless technique. Thank you Samantha!

Chad delivered a chair I purchased from Oswald's. Chad was outstanding- very hard worker and very conscientious.

They are great! Service was most excellent! The young man who delivered and picked up my lift chair, Chad, was friendly, knowledgeable about the chair and just an all around nice person! I will need their services in the near future and I will be calling them again! Highly highly recommend this company and Chad!

After several delays in filling prescriptions and, in one case, refusing to fill a brand name prescription, I gave up on the chain pharmacy and came to Oswald's. What a difference! This is how pharmacists treated customers when I was working in the local drug store while I was in high school. I can't say enough about the difference in the customer experience.

After my dad had open heart, we rented a recliner to help with his recovery. Jose could not have been more kinder, professional, or helpful! A+ customer service and absolutely would recommend Oswald's (and Jose!) to anyone.

Hands down the best medical supply store I've been to. I was blown away with their customer service and how they helped my mother who has extremely limited mobility find the exact lift chair she needed. They are so patient and kind and they spent a few hours to answer our questions and try different ones out. They also helped her find shoes, and suggested ski lifts to help her walker better. I'm very happy with this store and am so grateful that we found them. Huge shoutout to Samantha, Alex, and Sean for taking such good care of my mom. Love you guys!!

After recent surgery for spinal stenosis, I needed a bariatric chair to sleep in and that would also assist me in standing. One of my parishioners recommended Oswald Pharmacy to me. I could not possibly be happier with the "Golden" chair that I was able to purchase from them. After using the chair for about six months, I made the decision to purchase a second chair to replace my regular recliner in my living room. Many thanks to the sales team at the pharmacy for their caring help and concern. And special thanks to José for his awesome delivery work on both of my chairs, not just bringing in my new chair but also assisting me in removing my old ones. I highly recommend the "Golden" chairs, Oswald Pharmacy, and my deepest appreciation and thanks to José for his great work on the delivery and set up. You all are the greatest!

My wife and I have been going to Oswald's Pharmacy for roughly 32 years. Yes, even before they moved to their current location. They offer great customer service, the kind you'd expect from a locally owned and operated business. Their medical supply expertise is well known, and people look to Oswald's to offer solutions to their healthcare needs. They have a U.S. Post Office, as well. I always enjoy talking to Becky and Katie! They will entertain you, as they process your mailing needs. They are only about 1/2 of a mile south of downtown Naperville, and there are other great stores in the complex. A great place to take your business.

Summary: Snuggled by Trader Joe's and Casey's, this old time pharmacy sells many of the odds and ends neither of those may carry. This shop makes that strip mall a viable walking alternative for those that don't want to drive for a small something. There are a ton of reviews about how this place is an old-school pharmacy. And they're all true. There is something darn-near magical about a place that sits in such a small space but they have such a variety of goods. My son is all about their toy section. There's a cool little thomas the train engine setup for the little ones to play with while a grown up looks around. I've walked by and spoken with the staff in the 'post office' without even realizing what that station was about. I'm going to keep that in the back of my mind next time I need a post office. I live a mile from this strip and I always to prefer to walk when able. This shop is definitely worth a visit if you're kid was super well behaved a TJ's and earned a small toy. :)

My experience with Oswald's pharmacy was so easy and I felt so cared for their staff. I have to say Jose is such a warm and compassionate man. He delivered my electric chair and picked it up. He was on-time, pleasant and just so kind. I highly recommend Oswald's if you need to rent anything. Ask for Jose!

Oswald's Pharmacy is just as precious as Casey's foods. I feel like I've entered pleasantville when I shop here. I was just in the other day and I bought a Marine Corps garden flag. The quality of it was great compared to the usual flimsy, paper thin garden flags I've bought before at Lowe's or Michael's. And I just realized how old and boring I must sound talking about the quality of garden flags....I'm real fun at parties....Anyway, the staff were really friendly as they greeted me as soon as I walked through the door. It was kind of cluttered in there but they have a lot of good stuff for decent prices considering the area it is located in. Everything in that shopping center is pricey. If you are ever walking by, stop in and take a look. They have some really cute stuff!

Rented a hospital bed. Great drop off and set up. Pick up after use was super. Jose was courteous and helpful he was a great help. Was very pleased.

It was blessing to have found Oswald's Pharmacy. My husband had back surgery, so I was looking for a power recliner to rent. I worked with Paul and Matias who were very knowledgeable about the chairs in the store. Yes, I rented a power recliner chair from them. I returned to Oswald's yesterday to purchase the supplies for our bathroom and Matias again assisted me. Today Paul will be delivering the recliner today. Thank you Paul and Matias for all the help and assistance you gave me. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

I needed a hospital bed and purchased one from Oswalds sight unseen. The rep, Samantha told me this bed was the best and sold me on an air mattress to go with it even though my husband is not bedridden. The air mattress failed in the first month because the welds on the bed formed sharp points that pierced right thru the mattress. If I hadn't noticed this when they came to replace the mattress it would have happened again! The tech had to file 6-7 welds and tape them to make the bed useable! We also rented a wheelchair for $300/month not knowing that after the first month they charge $100 weekly. Nowhere on the contract does it say that. This is an overused used chair that runs $1600 retail new. After two months I could have paid for half of a new one! I called them on this and they told me they refund back if you keep it for four more weeks. Nowhere does it say this. Be careful dealing with these folks.

This store is a gem! I'm a nurse in the area and frequently send patients over for specialized bandaging needs and medical equipment. What I really love is the hometown feel of the place- caring employees and interesting merchandise! Best of all is the mailing area! No lines! Fun, knowledgeable people to take care of you! This review is long overdue; I actually patronized Oswald's in October 2019, and it's now December 2019. However, the service provided by employee Matias Latippa was so outstanding that I dug through my drawers to find the business card that I had taken home so that I could finally write the review. I purchased an i-walk 2.0 walking device; you can look it up online. It is essentially a peg-leg that you attach your 90 degree bent-at the knee leg to in order to walk without bearing weight on the injured lower extremity, which sits parallel to the ground. By using this device, you can walk without using crutches. This allows you to use your hands for everyday tasks. The device itself isn't perfect, but it was an improvement over crutches for most instances. However, this review isn't about the i-walk, it's about Oswald's. I called Oswald's first to ensure that they had it in stock, and they did. I arrived and Matias Latippa assembled the device for me and helped me put it on. I walked around the store with it for a few minutes and was satisfied enough to make the $150 purchase. I also picked up a new mattress for my bedridden grandmother's home hospital bed. Matias was also very knowledgeable about the mattress selection. In all the transaction was fast and smooth. I was also impressed by the very large selection of medical devices on hand in the showroom; if caring for an elderly or infirm person, this is the store to patronize. It eliminates the guesswork of online shopping and saying "this looks like it should work", and then getting something in the mail and finding out it does not meet your expectations or needs. They had everything from beds to wheelchairs to canes and a myriad assortment of other items. Lastly, with me having a pre-surgery ruptured Achilles tendon, Matias was happy to carry the oversized boxed mattress to the car and get it inside. Their business card says "A 6th Generation Family Owned Business", and for this niche market and the exemplary service their employee provided, I forsee Oswald's lasting as many generations as they desire.

I worked with Kane in Medical Supplies. I was depressed arriving there. He came with a wheel chair to bring me in so I didn't have to use crutches. He explained everything perfectly and met my budget. He helped pack up my car. Thanks Kane!!!

Sales staff at time of purchase was great. But DO NOT go back for the service. I like to be loyal and continue to give my business, such as my vehicle' dealership, where I bought it. That's where things were not good. Staff sounds young, like they don't care, when you call. Decided to go elsewhere this second attempt to throw business their way. First time we used internet to solve the issue. Very disappointed.

OsWald's pharmacy is the only place to go for your durable medical equipment! I can't tell you how much of a wonderful experience I received from them. Their entire staff, Samantha, Tilly, Matias, James and Alex the manager are awesome! They made sure I received exactly what I needed for my condition and were very good to me, as I had to keep my rental electric chair for longer than expected. They gave me a very nice discount for my troubles with another DME company. . They also picked out the perfect rollater for me. Every time I called they worked with me to ensure my happiness! So...I had to buy my first "mobility assistance device," and I wasn't sure what would meet my needs. Matias and Samantha spent an hour and a half with me, trying all kinds of things--and make no mistake, Oswald's has *all the things*--before I settled on forearm crutches, which Matias adjusted several times to make sure they were a good fit. They were sensitive to my first-time-ness, which helped a ton. And they seemed to get my gallows humor. They made what could have been a painful experience pleasant. I'd give them a hundred stars if I could, and I'll definitely be back as my condition progresses.

I love this place because of its strong resemblance to the nearly extinct local pharmacy / five-and-dime stores of my youth. No, really. With Big Man pharmacy rapidly achieving world domination, I hope this place carries on - they've been in business over 125 years. They offer the same type of merchandise you'd find at a Walgreen's, but better. In this new location, they carry a lot more filler stuff than at the old spot on Jefferson Street - I say "filler" because I assume a pharmacy business has to deal more than drugs to stay alive. So you can shop for a ton of toys, books, candy, and so forth.

What IS this place?! Think old time pharmacy and general store. Think kitschy gift shop in small, quaint tourist town. It's all of that and more. There are some really interesting gifts including wall décor, ornaments, serving ware, and it's all very affordable and the kinds of things I'd buy for friends or family. I had my eye on a wall hanging for $20 but later decided against it, while my mom was dangling a pair of earrings shaped like little Beagles in front of my face. Cute, but not my style. There is a post office in here as well. Lots of "retro" candy like Necco wafers. Multiple toy aisles. Fancy beauty products from Crabtree & Evelyn, Caswell Massey, and other brands like Badger Balm and Burt's Bees. I sampled some organic pomegranate lotion (tip: DON'T do that) and left smelling like a funeral home. And of course there is a huge pharmacy section. There are Naperville "souvenirs" including hand painted wine classes, tote bags, and t-shirts. Who buys this crap? Worth a look.

I've been to Oswalds but the old one that was by the hospital. Not been here in a long, long time and never to this location! This is a typical old time dime store! And where else do you go to find 99% isopropyl alcohol? Oswalds!! They had everything in this store! Lots of hard to find healthcare needs that you wouldn't even find at a Osco Drug or Walgreens! Next time I will visit when I find more time to shop around, this place was very surprising!

I was extremely impressed with the help I received from Jerry when I called with a problem with my remote control for our Golden sleep chair recliner. The company we purchased the chair from was useless in answering any of our questions or giving us any technical support. They referred me to three service centers in my area. The third one I called was Oswald's Medical and then I was on my way in solving the problem. I explained what our remote was not doing and Jerry took it upon himself to call to check if the remote was still under warranty. He walked me through getting the information he needed. He promptly called me back, it was covered and he was able to put a new remote in the mail to me that same day. I couldn't thank him enough for all his help. I feel he went out of his way to accommodate us. Thank you so very much.

Recently switched a couple prescriptions to here. Been past this place at least a million times, and had never gone in. Its part gift shop, part pharmacy and assorted products. Post office station in the corner. Bunch of garden flags in the vestibule. By the pharmacy, they have a display case filled with old drugs that I found very cool. Like a museum exhibit. Another room has extensive medical supplies and equipment. I remember this place from when it was located in downtown Hooterville (Naperville). I'll be heading back and moving all prescriptions here...

I visit Oswald's 7 days a week to shop and drop off packages. Katie, Becky and Willard are the best and I always enjoy their professionalism and conversation. It's people like them that keep me coming back. Keep up the good work.

Customer Service is priority at Oswalds. I now use mail in service for prescription drugs as that's what my insurance pays for! However, I often go in there for cards or special gifts and take advantage of Post Office service. Bill third generation Oswald's is carrying on the reliability of customer service being #1 priority and taking pride in the inventory!

The nicest people work here! First time going in the shop, I had no idea all the wonderful items they stock. Aisles upon aisles of really nice children's toys (including Melissa & Doug brand). A wide variety of what I would consider gift items, like cute housewares, and Willow Tree figurines. There's even a legit mini post office inside, and I bet it's a better experience than most other post office! More recently, I used their curbside pickup. I placed my order over the phone, and the associate couldn't have been friendlier, and was also very patient reviewing options and pricing for face masks, checking for stock on another item I asked about, etc. I was able to pick up my order for contactless curbside pickup the same day, with no hassle at all. So overall, a very good assortment of merchandise (essential items and fun stuff) and excellent, personable, kind service.

hi i was there a few weeks ago and i want to inform somebody that me and my friend basically got kicked out even though we were planning on buying something and while we were reading the funny sayings on one of the shelf's we were rudely asked if we needed help with anything and when we said we were just looking the employee continued to follow us and kick us out for doing absolutely nothing!!

Great place to find everything. They're carrying a huge toy inventory. I found the Gravity Maze game that is sold out every where else. They also have a full US Post Office with boxes for sale and shipping on the spot. Nice

Oswald's truly is a gem in Naperville. They really treat both their customers and their employees well and contribute so much to their community for which they definitely don't receive credit. Skip your local Walgreens and CVS where they treat their employees like crap and support your local pharmacy!
