Perfection, these guys literally don't make a bad beer. It's crazy I have never seen anything like it. Constantly adding new beers along with their classics. Great atmosphere, games for kids and events all the time! Ohh did I mention you can have some beers outside at their picnic tables under a tent. Ohh shoot... Also forgot about the rotating food trucks that come...

Google
Great addition to the city of Oswego. The craft brews are pretty tasty. I especially enjoyed their 11.1 ABV Imperial Stouts. Cool atmosphere in the old fire station and friendly staff.

Google
Cool little place with a nice variety of home brewd beers and a few other offerings like ciders from their competitors. My favorite beer here is "hay'z for horsez" a New England style IPA. They also have a West Coast IPA, but I just didn't like it as much as the New England style IPA. The staff is super helpful in selecting the right beer for your enjoyment. They know their product very well. They will also will let you sample the beers. Of course, all while properly distancing to keep everyone safe and healthy. The atmosphere here is great, but right now you shouldn't expect to much from any establishment due to the strict rules and regulations from the covid-19 pandemic.

Google
Went for the first time and was not disappointed. Tries Hays for Horses. Beer and service were excellent and atmosphere was fun. Definitely worth stopping by if you're looking for a good beer!

Google
Great, friendly, fun place. Been here a few times. Will be back again. Awesome American beer brewery!

Google
Always a great selection of beers and friendly service. Nice that you can bring in outside food to enjoy while you have a beer or two. Lots of live music and food truck events as well. Indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy.

Chris Pinner

Google
Great brewery! Really good selection of beers. Number of different types of beer as a selection. Decent selection of snack food. Cool seating options and board games(including Rockem Sockem Robots!). Very friendly staff!

Julie Caine

Google
Good beer. Normally pretty quiet when we go. Board games and fun chalk board kids love to draw on. They don't serve food, but do have food trucks from time to time. Or we have brought in food.

Yelp
Best thing there is about Oswego by far. It may be the only actual reason to ever come here. Oswego Brewing Company is much better than expected given the lack of other good stuff. Has quite a few beers on tap and even more in cans. There's no food menu but you can order it from the local restaurants. Came here after going through and stopped in before leaving town and we were glad we did it. It looks like a big garage and there's plenty of space. There's also lots of room to have outdoor seating when it's good weather. A lot of beers to choose from. We tried a few and liked each of these. I most liked the the Arnie's Scotch Ale. It's $7 for a pint. This is a medium heavy beer that's smooth and strong. Food isn't on the menu but you can order it and get it delivered here. It has arrangements with 113 Main. The menu isn't vegetarian friendly unfortunately.

Yelp
I dig it. I mean we dig it. This has been our go-to lately when we need a minute out, can bring the kids, meet up with some friends, play some board games, order a couple pizzas in, and drink some tasty brews. I mean, does it get any better? I attest that it does not. Flights are the way to go if you're looking to sip some new stuff, and I highly recommend the dark beers. Very smooth and tasty!

Yelp
I've been looking forward to visiting here for a while. Finally made it with my buddy. Well worth the wait.

Yelp
Any brewery that makes the number of dark crafts that they do is going to end up on my good side. Oswego Brewing had a half dozen darks on tap. Call it a hard choice. I didn't want to drink too much during my trip..two glasses would suffice. So which two, was the conundrum. Ended up starting with the Snap Cocoa Pop imperial milk stout. That was a great starter, nice body and delicious flavor, not overpowering on abv. The second pour was their BA Triple XL Overalls rye barrel-aged imperial stout. More kick here, and a ton of flavor. If I had more time and stomach room, I would have gone for a third lap. But we brought in Asadora's with us, and those burgers require space. Great combo, the two should partner. They'll need to expand! We'll be back. Cheers!

Yelp
I like that they have 5 oz pours as an option for their beer. I tried two options and both were delicious. Prices were very reasonable. Their patio area has barrels as tables. I saw others bring their own chairs. My friend and I just stood at the barrels. Inside is clean and service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
Oswego Brewing Company is located in downtown Oswego and has a great variety of beers to choose from and if you don't like beer, they have cider available as well, which worked out well as my two compadres do not like beer so they enjoyed the cider that was offered. I enjoyed their refreshing Double IPA (2-Alarm DIPA), which is extremely hoppy and bitter. We were not here for very long as we had a reservation over at Crusade Burger, but we enjoyed the ambiance. If you're not drinking at the bar, there is a line that forms to order at the bar and then you bring your beverage to your seat. Overall, I'll definitely come back when I am in the area. The beer was refreshing and having ciders is a nice touch. The variety of beers offered was great as well.

Yelp
Great time and great brews! Highly recommend, especially when live music is in house! Also, Highly recommend ordering from 2KFood, fast delivery, delicious food!! You will not be disappointed!!!

Yelp
So great to have a taproom and great quality beer in Oswego. I've tried several of their beers from the IPA's to barrel-aged beers. My favorite IPA is their Hay'z for Horsez. They recently made barrel-aged Daguerreotype which was amazing. Friendly service, easy parking and a great selection of beer.

Yelp
They advertised "Oktoberfest" and the only thing that was remotely like a good oktoberfest was that Wurst Kitchen was providing food. The tent was so bright you could do surgery. And the band was playing metal or something. Nope. Never got out of the car. Go to Munich and see how it's done. Or Anaheim CA or Toronto CAN.

Yelp
I have been here about 6-7 times since they first opened 4 months ago. This is a must stop for any one that appreciates good beer and fun atmosphere. Every beer has a story and sometimes a local connection either through their name or an aspect to one of their beers. The head brewmaster has won awards prior to his joining OBC and then during his short time here. Staff is very friendly and fun. The place continues to evolve and always growing in its customer experiences and pulling local flavor in its food trucks. Suggest you follow them on Facebook as they continue to grow and add events and places to go to enjoy their beer. Some beers don't last long as they become popular quickly. My favorites are the "Old Firehouse" and "Udder Disaster". When you buy a beer tell them "Kerry" sent you. It will do nothing for you but may give them a chuckle. #OBC

Yelp
I fell in love with these beers from Allegory. Went to the brewery, and was served a Double IPA from 6 months ago. Absolutely disappointed. The brewery should be serving the freshest batches.

Yelp
Solid place. Small menu from 113 Main for food. Beer was good, and place was cute. I got a farmhouse and my husband got a hefeweizen. Both very drinkable. Friendly staff. Will be back when it's warmer out for sure.

Yelp
I was here for the grand opening event. I am not a huge beer drinker but went with some friends that are really into craft beers who wanted to check it out. They had 6 beers on tap, I tried 3 of them and of those 3 I really liked 2 of them, the Saison and the Witbier were good. It's a really big space, I believe it's an old fire station they converted into a brew pub right in downtown Oswego. I'm not sure sure if they will serve food in the future but when I was there for the grand opening event they just had a couple of food tents set up outside selling food from a couple local businesses. I personally would not go back if they are not offering a food menu, but that's just me. I'm not the type of person to just go and drink 3 or 4 beers and not at least have an appetizer or meal. I'll update my review after another visit which is not on the Grand Opening weekend.

Yelp
My husband & I each had a flight & really liked everything we sampled. My favorites include the Leder Weizen, Stone's Throw, Spur Line & Oktoberfest. Casual atmosphere& friendly staff. This places a wonderful addition to Oswego.

Yelp
Nice, inexpensive beers, flavorful, plenty of seats, good variety of beers-fresh! Beers-good but a work in process, will be interesting to see how they grow in a few years. Can't give more stars, it was a fricken daycare in there! People, leave your kids at home!

Yelp
Good atmosphere on the Fox River. Chill staff and good brews. Liked the old school bar with swing out saddle seats. Reminded me of Anderson Valley Tap Room in Nor Cal. NE IPAs were solid. Will be back...

Michael A.

Yelp
The beers were good, but way too expensive. Could not sit outside as there were no tables and chairs. Could not get a growler to take outside. No food truck when we were there.

Anette B.

Yelp
Great beer and an even better atmosphere. Super friendly staff made us feel welcome when we ducked in under their tent from the rain and decided to stay awhile. Will definitely be back to the local gem.
google avatar

Hilary S.

Yelp
Great spot - staff is friendly, location is great. Beers are pretty good, I wish the IPAs were a bit stronger, but again, nothing to scoff at. Nice spot for a Sunday beverage, or a post-work drink, or a stop while biking the Fox River Trail.

Yelp
Cozy new brewery with 7 beers so far, and many more to come. Friendly bar tenders and owners. Stop in and say hello. Bring your own food if you are hungry as they rely on food trucks to feed the troops.

Yelp
This place is exactly what Oswego needed and I am so thrilled they are here! The beers are consistently good and they rotate in new items which we look forward too. The atmosphere is fun with decor to compliment the bar's history (former firehouse) and like one other reviewer commented it is very clean. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I'm only giving it four stars because even when it is moderately busy it is very loud and difficult to have a conversation in there. You cannot sit outside yet (I believe they are working on outdoor space in the future). I keep hoping they will add some acoustical tile to help dampen the sound. Hint Hint. Despite this, we do keep coming back for the beer!

Yelp
Great beer and a really cool concept! Love the variety of the food offerings. The variety of beer makes for good reason to come back often!
google avatar

Mitch H.

Yelp
I'm not a huge beer drinker but their Oktoberfest beer is really good. They have a lot of options and even had a food truck outside which was also really good.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is great. I've been to other brewery's and this place tops them all. Take your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, whatever. Great time. Two thumbs up.
google avatar

Patrick M.

Yelp
Everyone in there is very polite and the beer tastes great. Also the joint has looked super clean every time I've gone in, what more could you want at a tap room?
google avatar

Kai W.

Yelp
We were just there last night. This can be tricky to find, it's down an alley, but it's in a converted fire station building and is very cool. The bar is huge and they have plenty of tables. The beer was fantastic!! I had the Old Firehouse Ale and Hay'z for Horsez. The music was great too! They don't serve food, but you can bring your own or have it delivered. Make sure you bring your plates, napkins and silverware as right now they don't have any of that for their guests. Will definitely go back there again!

Yelp
Went to the grand opening. Beer was very good and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
I am a big fan of OSB! I attended the Grand Opening and stop in when ever I am in the area. I follow them on social media and get excited when they announce a new brew is on tap. I have enjoyed many of the beers I have had from them. I have also had the good fortune of attending an event that was not at the brewery that had two kegs of OSB beer on tap! I am looking forward to my next trip back!

Yelp
I've been a fan of craft beers for a while now. When I heard Oswego was getting our very own brewery,I was ecstatic. The owner is actually the owner of Bjs wine and spirits. They are good people so I was looking forward to going to the brewery. The brewery is nice and inviting. The bar tenders are attentive and genuinely nice. I liked two of the six beers so far. I'm not big on sours but they do have one. The north England ipa was good and the witbier. They also have a cream ale that kinda tastes like spotted cow...kinda! They have more beers coming in July so I will be back soon. I don't mind that they don't have food. I love food trucks so it's no big deal.

Yelp
This place is new to downtown. It has a very friendly feel and the staff is awesome. The beer is awesome also! Choices are limited, but like I said it is a new place. Ask one of the staff about beers in the works and he said they are working to expand the different types of beers everyday. Can't wait for a stout and a barrel aged variety! The only bad thing I can say about this place is the acoustics. Very loud and echoey.

Kathy K.

Yelp
Always our go to spot. Very friendly staff. Andrea is so friendly and pleasant. So many great beers but my favorite is Leder-Weizen. They always have awesome bands but my favorite is Jaik Willis. He is unbelievable!!! They also have unique food trucks and venders. Such a great addition to our town!! Can't wait to see how it grows and expands in the future. #drinklocal #OBC #greatbeer

Yelp
This is one of the best local breweries in the aurora-land area! I often find myself here on a Sunday to start the day off with a nice stout, however any of their crafts are a must try. A lovely environment, great location right by the river (can only imagine how it'll be when construction is all over) and servers are happy to give you any recommendations, as well as provide you the best drinking experience you can have.

Nicole T.

Yelp
Went here with some co workers. It was my first time there, although very clean and modern, it was very loud and was hard to hear our conversations. The beer was good, but they didn't have much of a selection ( only 6) They do only have water, which was unfortunate for my significant other who doesn't drink and came along. They don't have food; but I am told there are usually food trucks every now and then and you are welcome to bring your own snacks and / or have some food ordered in. All in all I would recommend this to an avid beer drinker who likes ales and IPAs. I will come back again. It is a lovely place.

Chad A.

Yelp
We went to the grand opening. It seemed well staffed, well run, and the beer was pretty good. Unfortunately they don't have food, but they did have a food vendor on site who had some pretty good food.

Nicole K.

Yelp
Just opened when we went, cool and big place. Not many options for beers but is kid friendly and have lots of games to play. I would give this place a chance, I see big things happening here
