Everything about this place? Very nice. The curry tonkatsu was delightful. Not too spicy. Not too creamy. My sushi roll came out amazingly fast. Almost made me feel like it was partially pre-made. The staff was very polite and friendly. Would recommend for a date night

Google
The coconut soup was very flavorful but a little overwhelming by itself. The grilled octopus was a bit underdone and I feel there wasn’t enough sauce but when you dip it in the soup it was amazing. The crème brûlée though stole the show. It was some good! Maybe one of the best crème brûlées I’ve ever had. My waiter was great and attentive and it was a very nice and chill spot.

Google
Otoro Sushi is truly a gem. Chef Jimmy San is unmatched—his sashimi is artful, expertly sliced, and bursting with inventive flavor combinations that you simply won’t find anywhere else. Every visit feels like a curated experience. And you cannot leave without trying Mama’s special crème brûlée…silky, delicate, and the perfect finish to an extraordinary meal!! One of my absolute favorites in Broward!

Google
Our first time and definitely not the last. Been checking out Asian restaurants . Grilled Salmon is 15/10😍 highly recommended. I'm a huge Pad Thai fan so I get to taste other places'p pad thais Pad Thai is 9/10 for me cause it suites my taste, not too greasy, not salty, noodles are perfect.. I just find it a little bit dry compare to others I've tasted. We will definitely be a regular here.

Absolutely loved our experience at Otoro in Plantation! The moment you walk in, the sleek, modern vibe sets the tone for a standout dining experience. The decor is elegant yet relaxed, and the attention to detail throughout the restaurant really shows. We started with the Tom Yum Soup, which was rich, bold, and full of flavor—perfectly spicy and comforting. Then came the star of the show: the sushi. Every piece was beautifully presented and incredibly fresh. The Salmon Nigiri with caviar was a luxurious bite, and the specialty roll topped with jalapeño added the perfect touch of heat and crunch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and clearly knowledgeable about the menu. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. The “Fresh, Never Frozen” sign on the wall isn’t just for show—they truly deliver on quality. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or just out for a great meal, Otoro is a must-visit spot in Plantation. Already planning our next visit!

Google
Otoro Sushi holds such a special place in my heart. I used to go every Thursday with my son and sit at the sushi bar, starting when he was just four years old—and now he’s almost 8. The sushi chefs are incredible: attentive, kind, and truly passionate about what they do. It genuinely feels like family there, and I love that they remember you—it creates such a meaningful, personal dining experience. The ambience is warm and inviting, the staff is beyond friendly, and the food is consistently out of this world. The Otoro spoons are an absolute must, and the Kampachi Zest is bursting with fresh, bright flavor. Every dish is beautifully prepared and unforgettable.

Google
Love this place. This night we ordered "off the menu" everything presented was made to perfection. Jimmy and his team are a family style vibe. This is our sushi spot

Google
We have been here several times for dinner and let me tell the food is amazing. Jimmy and his team if sushi chefs are superb. Tonight we tried so many different items that were mouthwatering delicious. Service is definitely a 50🌟 the freshness of the sushi is 100🌟Their hot oil is delicious. Jimmy has an amazing team working with him. We definitely recommend Otoro and will make this place our goto Sushi restaurant.

Yelp
5/5 - Outstanding Food & Amazing Service at Ōtorō My wife, our 2.5-year-old son, and I visited Ōtorō last night, and it was easily one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed. We started with the pork dumpling appetizer, which came out perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside, juicy and flavorful on the inside. My wife ordered the Mt. Fuji roll, and I went with the Tsunami roll (extra spicy). Both rolls were incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The Tsunami had the perfect kick without overpowering the fish, and the Mt. Fuji was rich, balanced, and delicious. For dessert, we shared the Ube flan, and it was outstanding. Creamy, smooth, and not overly sweet--definitely a must-try. What truly set the night apart, though, was the exceptional service. Our waitress--who also happened to be the front-of-house manager--was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. The head sushi chef even came by to check on us and talk through the rolls, which added such a personal touch. You can tell they really care about their food and their guests. Overall, Ōtorō delivered on every level: great food, great atmosphere, and world-class service. We'll definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Weekday dinner Kind of crowded parking lot Plenty of tables but also surprisingly many people working and also a bunch of people eating for a Wednesday night Service was amazing by the manager-Ha Food was great Atmosphere was energetic and bright and enjoyable Would definitely come back if in the area!

Yelp
Absolutely fabulous. I am a sushi and fresh fish fanatic. I am delighted when there are fresh takes. And Otoro rings the bell. I had a salmon aburi roll that had three types of salmon. The spicy salmon inside was fantastic. The ikura (egg) on top was perfect and added the right level of saltiness. The cooked salmon on top would have been better raw, but still great. Then, because of the other reviews, I had the shrimp fried rice. Normally I would not order that. But I am so glad I did. The flavors were great. I do not know what sauce the shrimp were in, but I could eat it all day. The rice was the right level of crispy. My wife and I realized that while you could have a big meal here, the portions are so big that it is possible to share two dishes, eat in a reasonable amount of time, and walk out feeling great for under $50. We will surely be back. I loved the cool interior and the waitstaff was helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I was very pleased with this experience. We were served with great attention and helpfulness. The décor is minimalist and modern with some Asian touches. From the menu, we chose: - Ari Tuna Crispy rice $14.00 (very tasty, the rice is perfectly crispy); - The Zen roll $10.00 (tasty, but I didn't really notice the mushroom flavor; it is better with soy sauce and wasabi); - Curry Udon $20.00 (the fried chicken is simply delicious; the size of the dish is well worth the price). All dishes arrived quickly, and the service was excellent.

Yelp
First thing is first, I went here specifically to try the Bang Bang Noodles based on all of the rave reviews and found out when I got there that they took it off of the menu. Not sure why, but the table next to me wanted to order that as well. Seems odd to take such a popular item off of the menu, but none the less, I proceeded to order some sushi. The waitress was very friendly and fast. The rolls came out extraordinarily quick. I had the kamikaze, tsunami, and cucumber skin roll. All of them were food but the Tsunami was definitely my favorite of the three followed by the kamikaze. The kamikaze had dried salmon skin inside which I really liked and gave it a great texture with a light crunch. The ambiance is modern, cozy, and very clean.. All of the staff were very nice and overall service was spot on. Although I wasn't able to get what I came in for, it was still a good experience. Hopefully the Bang Bang Noodles find their way back in the menu at some point. But either way I would eat here again.

Yelp
I didn't post this right after my visit, so I don't remember every menu detail. What I do recall is that while the service was fantastic, the food itself didn't quite meet my expectations. I've been to similar sushi spots where the quality was noticeably better, and for the price here, I was hoping for more of a "wow" factor. On the positive side, the drinks and atmosphere were both great, and the overall vibe was enjoyable. If I were rating just service, drinks, and aesthetics, I'd give it a 4. Unfortunately, the food quality brought my overall rating down.

Yelp
If I could give this place 100 stars I would. My mom and I did the omakase experience, which you had to call ahead of time and reserve so the chef was able to prepare ahead of time. They take a $50 per person deposit at reservation and the experience advertises itself as $175/pp for 14 pieces. This experience was less like your traditional omakase sitting in a room with eight other people are watching the chefs, and more like a private chef dinner. My mother and I sat at the sushi bar, right in front of Chef Jimmy. Our server, Matthew, introduced and greeted himself, and took away every plate immediately upon completion. Chef Jimmy was so happy to meet us and incredibly personable. He asked us all about Miami, our travels, our favorite sushi, and other omakases we have experienced. He was so thankful and grateful that we were there, and we even took a shot of nice whiskey with him! The restaurant does not have a full bar but he has it behind the sushi counter and will offer to buy you a shot. Now - let's talk food. This was one of the best omakase experiences I have ever had. First of all, I almost had to stop the chef from bringing food out - I was SO FULL. In most omakases you're usually given one piece of nigiri per fish - here they give you at least two of almost everything, and there were way more than 14 courses. We said "oh my god wow" after eating every single bite. The creativity and sauces were amazing, and there was so much caviar and uni involved in the pieces that I simply could not believe my eyes. In the end you get two full size, huge desserts that we could seriously only take one bite of. In terms of the omakase my favorite dishes were the toro box, the king crab, the langostinos, the wagyu, and the ama ebi. But truly - I can't decide and I cannot wait to go back. It's an hour and fifteen minute drive for us to get here, and worth EVERY MINUTE.

Yelp
Pretty restaurant, albeit smaller inside than it looks online. Good service and a great value with the Happy Hour menu. The food was super fresh although lacking a bit flavor wise, and presented very nicely. Had the Crunchee roll (meant to get the Yummy), calamari and lychee martini that gave me big apple juice notes on the tongue. Not opposed to trying other items but not pressed to return based on this taste. I implore you to explore as it is nice.

Yelp
I ordered the tsunami roll and it had a proportionate amount of rice and toppings in my opinion, it wasn't just a roll with a bunch if rice. The fish was fresh and smooth with a crunch from the shrimp tempura and I love a best of both worlds in texture. The edamame was chili garlic flavored and it was really good. It had a spice to the traditional edamame which I really liked. The ube flan was smooth and somewhat thick, I wish it had a stronger ube flavor, but nevertheless, it was still very tasty. The pandan creme brulee was very soft and reminded me of a mousse but I was able to taste the pandan flavor. The service was nice and he checked on us regularly. The ambiance and setup was nice and there weren't many people as we came in around noon when they opened. Overall, great experience!

Yelp
One of the better sushi restaurants in Plantation, Florida. The moment you enter, from the hostess to servers to chefs, the welcoming and family like atmosphere is vividly present. The interior is cozy yet very unique. The backdrop of the sushi bar is an illuminated Mount Fuji in Japan and it's the restaurant's signature scenery. Executive Chefs Jimmy and Mommy and their team only use quality ingredients to prepare their menu for the customers. Almost everything on their menu is amazing and if I didn't mention something it's because of my personal preference. For the best possible experience, please request to be seated in the sushi bar so that you can observe Otoro sushi team work their magic to create something amazing. **Must try Items Loaded Oysters. Freshly shucked oysters with minced Otoro and spicy scallop mix on top among other toppings and sauce. Sushi Moriwase. 12 piece nirigi platter with chef choice fish and topping. Wasabi chimichurri steak. Served with white rice, asparagus, and steak cooked to perfection! If you haven't already given this restaurant a visit, I strongly recommend that you go and experience for yourself! This restaurant is located in a plaza where they offer plenty of free parking.

Yelp
Service: 5 stars Food: 2 stars Service was quick and amazing! David was great! He was really friendly, great quick conversation about UFC fights. Told him the meaning regarding the shirt I was wearing. He was helpful grabbing a high chair for my daughter. He came back multiple times to check on us and asked how the food was. I ordered the dumplings ($12) for my daughter. It was originally pan-fried, I asked David if they could just steam/boil them and they were able to do so. Very accommodating! The dumplings were meat heavy and the wrap was thin and on top it was thicker (LOVED that). It looks like they dumplings were made in house. There was a ponzu sauce that was already on the plate. It was very heavy on the vinegar. I like tangy ponzu but not overpowered by vinegar but more with citrus (lime, lemon, yuzu). The meat wasnt as flavourful, bland meat, didnt have any veggies or spices to it. My daughter wasnt a big fan, so I ordered an easy roll that couldnt taste bad, the avocado roll! Simple roll, it was decently priced on the kids menu for $7. The avocado wasn't perfectly green, there were a few brown spots in it, maybe we came too early on Monday and it was leftovers from the previous night? The chef could've been a bit more detail oriented and taken those parts out of the avocado for better presentation. I ordered the cucumber skin roll ($14) which had Crab, Salmon, Tuna, and Avocado. I love cucumber rolls since theyre refreshing and usually order two of them. I'm glad I only ordered one to try it out first. I was surprised to see the word, crab instead of krab on the menu. When I ordered I was thinking it would be real crab but just a tiny bit since it's expensive and the roll was priced on the lower end. I was wrong. The dish came out, it was just regular imitation krab. The tuna came out minced, I did not like it. It was really really fishy. Im not usually a tuna gal but I'd still eat it in my sushi rolls. The tuna again tasted like it was yesterday's leftovers being used. The presentation with the cucumber skill roll was really pretty. When I left, David and a lady up front said good-bye. Service is great. Decor was modern and cozy. I was really looking forward to this sushi spot since it's highly rated on yelp and a few of my friends and husband wanted to dine here. Maybe it was just an off Monday morning for them.

Yelp
After doing way too much searching for good sushi in South Florida, I was visiting my daughter at college and decided to give this place a try. I'm so glad I did, it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. The sushi was incredibly fresh, with amazing flavors and top-quality fish. The service was a little on the slower side, but the food made it well worth the wait. If you're looking for authentic sushi in South Florida, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

Yelp
Came back again to this amazing restaurant it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and we even saved room for dessert. We had a crème brûlée that was to die for.

Yelp
Otoro's sushi sampler was my favorite sushi I have found in the area, but unfortunately I haven't found the other sushi and appetizers to live up to the first sushi dish I ordered. Service has always been kind and prompt.

Yelp
So glad we made the drive to try this place! Amazing food! Everything was packed with flavor. Walking into to the smiling face of Ha was perfect! Beautifully designed and filled with happy people. You can see the staff enjoy where they work and are more family than co-workers. Would absolutely return!

Yelp
I dined in with my daughter for lunch and it was not too busy but there were a few other couples dining so the food did not take too long to come out. This was by far the freshest and best tasting sushi that I have ever had. I thought the prices were reasonable for the quality. I think that I like this place for special occasions and not for my weekly sushi fix.
google avatar

Shelley W.

Yelp
I have come here a few times and always leave amazed, with my tastebuds satisfied, remembering the taste of fish in Japan. This place offers delicious fish at a fair price. Without making the flight to Japan, I love that I am able to taste some of the same freshness here in OC. The service is polite and the ambiance is intimate. The lighting serves for a great date spot.

Yelp
Decent little spot in strip mall Pros 1. Nicely designed location, cute; nice lighting 2. Good service 3. Decent food, nothing amazing but on par with most lical sushi spots 4. Pad Thai was good, peanut sauce asked for on side was underwhelming 6. Partner had roll, saidwaas basic, nothing special Cons 1. House sake was bitter, so screams cheap We may not return, but its a good time for locals. Basic, decent sushi. Its not on par with Sushui Sake, which is always fresh, tasty, but can get crowded. So stio by, enjoy this cute spot!/

Yelp
A few people have told me about this sushi place, and I am so glad I finally tried it!! The food is divine--some of the freshest sushi (especially if you are a nigiri lover), at a great price point for its quality. The nigiri was so yummy, I ordered a second order. I had the salmon belly, the hamachi (yellowtail), ikura, and the kampachi. All of the fish is incredibly fresh and the presentation is beautiful. I love sitting at the sushi counter where you are able to watch the sushi chefs work their magic. If you are a toro lover, they have a whole toro nigiri section. The restaurant is clean, and gives a warm vibe, while remaining sleek. They also have great sakes.

Yelp
Bottom line - eat here. It's not perfect but its VERY close. Koby, our server was personable, eager to help and authentically happy that we enjoyed the dishes of food. The grilled miso salmon, while the glaze was a bit sweet, was freaken delicious. The asparagus tasted great as well, but the bottom inches were too tough to chew and should have been cut off before service. The Pad Thai (when was the last year I ate Pad Thai?) was so good that my little bit to eat turned out to be 4 turns at the bowl! So glad my Mom wanted it! The chef and restaurant vibe were better than we expected - we ordered 2 items off menu and they accommodated! The dishes were really good and one of them was so good my Mom could only close her eyes and recall all the meals past where that dish was the star. We loved it too and I ordered a second one to go! The restaurant is attractive and in our neighborhood - pinch me! We'll definitely return and look forward to their focus on service and great recipes. This was a Part II of my birthday celebration and I am so glad we chose to go to Otoro.
google avatar

Krystal M.

Yelp
My husband and I sat at the bar and had a great experience. The bartender was super nice and made us feel welcomed right away. The vibe inside was really cool--stylish but laid back. We started with the potstickers and shrimp tempura sushi, both delicious. For our main entrees, we had the teriyaki chicken and the chicken & shrimp pad Thai--everything was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I also ordered the lychee martini, which was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely a spot we'd return to!

Yelp
All I can say after having sushi from Otoro is WOW! For my first visit I stopped by for lunch and was immediately greeted and seated. At my waitress's recommendation, I tried the Ahi Tuna Crispy Rice and the Tsunami Roll, both of which were excellent! The tuna was fresh and flavorful, the roll was very well-wrapped, and the crispy rice was perfect. If I lived closer I'd be here all the time!

Yelp
Great food, SUPER friendly and knowledgeable service, clean, kind and well priced for what you get. If you're lucky enough to have HA ( yes, said like a laugh ) as your server, she is jist the sweetest. I go with my son every other week for lunch. Delish!!
google avatar

Carolyn C.

Yelp
this sushi restaurant is the best I've found in Broward county. It's reasonably priced, with friendly efficient staff, fresh sushi, sashimi, and nigiri, as well as hot Asian quality food and a wide selection of sake. Don't forget to try the tempura cheesecake
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
High quality at an affordable price. We decided to try out this spot instead of going out to Miami for good quality fish and were super satisfied. Such a quaint space with a pleasant atmosphere. Our server Richard was knowledgeable about the menu, was helpful, and attentive. One of my favorite spots from now.
google avatar

Tania D.

Yelp
I was in the area and found this on Yelp. The restaurant decor is cute and it was early enough where it was not busy at all. I started with the edamame with sea salt but it was a little light on the salt. I had a piece of unagi which was spectacular. Finally, I had the tuna tataki which was slightly over seared. I was surprised to hear Latin music playing in this local spot, but the overall vibe was good. Although I wasn't impressed with my options, if I'm in the area again I would give this place another try.
google avatar

Jen G.

Yelp
I've been here several times and have yet to write a review. The sushi experience is by far above and beyond any other sushi in the area, and there are quite a few. You can tell the chefs have been educated and skilled in the fine art of sushi making. The combinations of food for the sushi rolls will leave your mouth wanting more. The ambience is great. It's a bit small for the demand that they have however, they have expanded to a couple tables outside and they do have a bar with sake drink options, wine, beer available as well. There's a great sushi bar as you walk directly into the restaurant, which makes it pleasing to the eye upon arrival.
google avatar

Anthony O.

Yelp
Amazing food. I spent way too much last time but it's hard not because the food is great. Served was good too. Ambiance is good too the atmosphere is not.
google avatar

Alison N.

Yelp
Dining room is modernizing decorated, which provides relaxing ambiance. Sushi chef specially made us fresh oysters with Uni, tuna tartar, and Cavier on top, finished with some refreshing tasty sauce. Sushi is fresh and is of good quality. I got complimentary birthday cheesecake and servers singing 'Happy Birthday' to me with a gong. definitely is a place visit again
google avatar

Nick N.

Yelp
This might be the best sushi place I have ever been in broward with regards to quality and taste. In addition, it has a nice atmosphere. However it's a little bit loud, I think it has something with how sound travels in the area but not terrible. I will definitely be coming back again.

Yelp
We stopped here for an early dinner before catching the Panthers game. Service was great & the food was spectacular. We LOVED the Mt Fuji roll & the O Tartar, def recommend trying both. The location is super cute & vibey for a date night. Ample parking & we were able to just walk in without a reservation & no wait time.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant. The edamame was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the raw sushi was exquisite in both taste and presentation. The ambiance was calm and inviting -- a perfect spot for sushi lovers.

Yelp
The most delicious omakase with Chef Jimmy. Highly recommend! Every single dish was amazing but I think my top 3 were the wagyu, salmon belly, and otoro (tuna belly) of course. I NEED to know how that wagyu was seasoned, we said it may be top 5 dishes we've ever had, period. Chef Jimmy was friendly & introduced to all the sushi bar staff, explained each dish, we had no allergies & asked for the full spread but he even accounted for my preference for minimal spicy and my husband's maximum spicy. The service was great - Deandre helped us with drinks, dessert, and kept an eye out clearing away each course, when we finished, quickly. We had about 15 courses for $150. The value for the quality and variety of the food is outstanding, uni & fish was so fresh, some of these courses felt like mini entrees, we left stuffed. I seriously recommend not eating any heavy meals the day of. Called in advance to reserve with a deposit of $50/person that goes towards the final bill. The sushi bar you sit at has a more elevated vibe with the lighting & setup, but the restaurant itself is modern casual with families with small children eating and pop music playing. We had a great view watching the chef at work putting together the dishes. It was peak crowded between 8-9, getting pretty loud, but didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves, since you're facing away you stay somewhat removed from it. We can't wait to go back, Chef Jimmy had several regulars come through and say hello and we would love to be one of them!

Yelp
My fiancé and I came here to celebrate our six year dating anniversary and I am so glad that we did because it was honestly an amazing experience! First of all, I'll start with thanking Jimmy for making it a fun time. We sat at the sushi bar and he was very friendly and entertaining! We had such a great time that my fiancé went again the following day!!! We started out with drinks and refreshing cool appetizers (we plan to come again together to try the hot side of the menu). I forgot what drink he got, but I got the Ube margarita and it was really good! It was refreshing and I did not expect to get a random photo of Naruto along with it LOL. The Sake Carpaccio (thinly sliced salmon sashimi with truffle ponzu) and the Otoro Spoons (raw otoro and uni) were so fresh and flavorful! Oh, wait! I just remembered we also got a warm appetizer -- crispy brussels sprouts! It was a very delicious side dish! Moving on to the entrees, we shared two sushi rolls -- the Zuwakani Roll and the Katana Roll. Both were hefty and filling. Lastly, the desserts stole the show! The pandan flavor in the Pandan Crème Brûlée was strong and had a good crunchy topping. And the Ube Cheesecake was very creamy and dense, the perfect amount of sweetness and loved the nutty topping to add to the texture! It's a very pretty spot for a date night! It does get busy, even on a weekday. We only opted to sit at the sushi bar just because we didn't want to wait for a table and it was the best move! Will definitely come again!

Yelp
Otoro's food is absolutely wonderful, you can't go wrong with anything. Some of my favorites are their grilled octopus, the g14 roll (i get it not fried), and the spicy tuna crispy rice. The inside is modern and clean. While I would love to give Otoro 5 stars, their service is never quite 5 star material. I can overlook this and continue to visit because the food is amazing, but usually the service is very slow, regardless of the time of day you visit. If the service is quick, they often forget something. I have never received absolute 5 star food here but Otoro continues to be one of my favorites due to their 5 star food

Yelp
Great place to meet up with friends and share bites. The chef was able to make a bunch of items gluten free which made ordering more enjoyable. The highchair arrived very quickly and our baby had chicken Katsu

Yelp
When you find yourself with a Desire to have a Foodie Experience such as Sushi you are looking for Supreme Freshness, Quality Fish, and something you may not be able to Create At-Home. Every aspect of our Visit here was a Complete Letdown.. Before Entering the Restaurant we were Surprised it was in a Strip Mall. Not that a Strip Mall is bad by any means but we thought the Establishment was going to be a bit more Upscale. Upon stepping inside we found the Atmosphere to be Loud, Stale, and Cold. The Dining Room is Open with Tables stacked on top of each other. To the point of if the Table Next Door Sushi Roll looks good then just pluck a piece with your Chopsticks. We both Ordered Sapporo On-Draft neither of us could Finish the Pint due to Taste. We were Excited for the Real Crab Meat Rangoon as they are in a Star Shape like Traditional and made with Snow Crab but the Flavor Lacked and the Interior was "Wet"; weird. I had 2 Different Rolls picked out from the Menu that I was deciding on. We chose the G14 Roll with Spicy Tuna and Spicy Yellowtail. The Spicy Tuna was Nonexistent and the Yellowtail was Ground(?) the Use of Sauces was Far Too Much and as a Fried Roll it was Delivered Soggy. We barely ate any of this Roll. Lastly an Order of Tuna Sashimi and Salmon Skin Hand Roll; both beyond Foul. Otoro was a Huge Waste and Such a Disappointment.

Yelp
Dear Diary, It has been 22 hours since we had dinner at Otoro and I just can't stop thinking about how amazing every single bite was. The staff was so kind and attentive. Aside from the bartenders making a mistake and putting liquor in my mocktail which they were quick to fix I have zero complaints. We plan to come back for the 15 course and also happy hour. I loved how upscale/chic but welcoming everything was. This could easily become my favorite sushi restaurant.

Yelp
I am giving the manager a big 0. My friend became flushed and her heart rate went to 100 after a couple sips of a lychee martini. We ate our appetizers and a such roll but she wasn't feeling well. When the bill came we asked if they could remove the martini that was sitting there full. They had to call the manager for an okay. She said NO after we had already waited 30 minutes. First she said she was coming down from the nail salon she also works at. But then just phoned and said no. The bartender was so sweet and apologetic even said not to tip him. We did tip him because he was great but the manager sucks. The manager said she could give it to us in to-go cup. Ummmm I think that's illegal. Needless to say the food was great but we will not be going back for this reason

Yelp
3rd visit last night, so I can write a review with a little confidence that it will be accurate. Once again, great fish and service. One of the few places in Western Broward with quality fish. The otoro and hamachi are the stars. Start with spicy edemame and a salad and then dig into the sashimi. Never have tried anything other than the sushi and sashimi. Nice pours of saki. Will you pay more for the quality, yes. Well worth it to savor the buttery fish. Will be back there soon.

Yelp
We had some great edamame and home made dumpling appetizers followed by a rainbow sushi roll and an assortment of Nigiri. While service was fantastic and quality of the fish was great, the rice missed the mark. When it comes Nigiri, the rice is just as if not more important than the protein. The sushi rice was unfortunately on the cold side and not seasoned. If you enjoy rolls and other dishes, Otoro would likely do very well with these but the Nigiri was lacking.

Yelp
All sushi lovers--tap in! I stumbled upon this hidden gem, and it did not disappoint. From the warm ambiance and great music to the exceptional customer service, I knew I'd found the right spot. I ordered the Dancing Unagi and Prawn Tempura rolls, and both were absolutely delicious, especially with a glass of wine on the side. If you're ever in the area, definitely stop by for happy hour (Monday through Friday, 3-6 p.m.). Ha was my server, and she was amazing!

Yelp
Came here for a dinner with my friends after our hair appointment. We were told that service isn't that attentive but we didn't have that issue at all. We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. As we weren't ready yet, our server gave us some more time. He was very attentive and came over to check on us. The food came quickly and was really delicious. I ordered the Mt Fuji roll. The restaurant is in a shopping mall but was modern and decorated beautifully.

Yelp
Always order sushi from a busy restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. The scallop with caviar is savory. Friendly wait staff. Get there early on the weekend if you like to dine in ac.

Yelp
I ordered today one order of fried rice with chicken, one crispy Brussels sprouts, and one order of pepper steak to pick up and bring to a friend who had surgery yesterday. I was very embarrassed when she opened up the containers and there was so little amount of food inside. I paid $20 for the pepper steak and there was less than a cup of food in the container. The amount of rice was ok, the sprouts were also almost invisible. I know things are expensive. I don't mind the prices, just fill up the containers and don't fool your customers because then they won't return...

Yelp
Came in for lunch celebration for Father's Day. The restaurant was nice, clean and quiet- exactly like how I would prefer it. The service was excellent and our waitress was very attentive and incredible nice. Certainly on the more expensive side but it's worth it for the occasion. Food was very good over all - even my picky parents enjoyed it. I wouldn't get the amber jack crudo again - underwhelming!

Yelp
Otoro (Fatty Tuna) offered excellent service and a vibrant ambiance. The place was very lively on a Friday night, they were very accommodating with our last minute reservation. The food here came out hot and tasty. From the appetizers to the entrees, our food had unique and rich flavors. We sat at the bar which allowed for quick and attentive service during our visit.
