Michael Chiarello to Open a Second Coqueta in Yountville - Eater SF

"Shortly after a settlement in 2015, Chiarello moved forward with opening Ottimo, an 'Eataly-style' marketplace, cafe, and mozzeria, which seems to be operating unscathed despite the controversy." - Ellen Fort

Stopped here as part of a guided wine tour and loved it! Hands down the best part of the tour and wish we could have spent more time here and in the area to explore and shop. The food was fresh and delicious. Their spicy pizza was my favorite! Highly recommend if you are out exploring the valley.

Amazing experience in Napa. Chef did table visit and staff was incredible. Food is spot on with fantastic imported and local ingredients. Highly recommend for a bite to eat while enjoying wine country.

Late Dec2024 During this time the casual market section is operational where iti is generally a home goods store along with a number of small food counter service optioms like a microbrewery, wine station, pasta station, etc. The selection of merchandise is well thought of and is worth perusing esp the kitchen wares. The place is minimally staffed so one cannot be sure whether which food stations are available. The interiors are much like a minaturized version of indoor farmers market one sees in other larger cities which has an outdoor area as well. Outside, is their beautiful Italian style courtyard which one supposes is used for events.

Had lunch here on Feb. 13th. It was included in the wine trolley tour package I purchased. We were served 6 courses. Started up with a salad. I forgot what kind of greens in it. It has apples and cheese. The dressing is delightful. Then pasta came with red sauce. It was good enough, although, pasta was overcooked. Then 3 typesof pizza came out after. Pizzas were good enough, but all of them are on the salty side. Then after, we had pistachio ice cream for desert. And that was the best one of all that was served to us. The server lady was attentive.

What a lovely spot in Yountville! Great vibe in one of the old brick warehouses. I had some pizza which had great fresh mozzarella on it. Also had some short ribs which were excellent!

I sincerely enjoy this place. It is slightly expensive, but if you are in Napa you should be expecting that and trying to eat well. The food is fantastic and shows a significant attention to detail. It is made right at the end of the store area, and you can watch as they cook in the open wood fired oven. There is a lot of innovation, but they are willing to modify the food as you want. Kids meals are variants of the normal item, such as removing the whole leaf basil from a margherita pizza. There's a lot of good flavors that flow right together. Service is excellent, they were attentive when necessary and kept an eye on us to see when we needed something. The store is also nice with some different wine-themed items to purchase, although a bit pricey. There is a small barista stand and fresh ice cream, along with a separate bar and outside seating area. We've come back here a few times since it's well worth it. For whatever reason, google maps wont attach my pictures.

This is a very nice to place: food is freshly prepared and pizzas are amazingly good (although a bit small for the price). Ice cream is also tasty! Outside terrace is excellent, since it allows kids to wander on the grass porion right beside...

We had a lovely time wine tasting! Went on the wine trolley, learned a lot about wines, tasted some really old wines, it was perfect!
