What Is Taiwanese Food: Every Dish You Need to Know | Eater

"An underground speakeasy-style cocktail bar known for carefully crafted, Western-style craft cocktails served with flair in an intimate, clandestine setting frequented by Taipei’s nightlife crowd." - Leslie Nguyen-Okwu

Great drinks and really cool concept on having no menu! The bartenders were also great. The jalapeño poppers were so good we had to order more. If I lived in Taiwan I would be a regular at this bar

Relocated to the second floor, adjacent to the kitchen, behind a sliding door, Ounce has both a romantic vibe, however there are also a larger table that can handle party of 6 and a mid sized table for 4. Apparently, they can mix up to 600 different cocktails, though we have not challenged the bartender.

Step into Ounce and transport to NYC! I spent the evening chatting it up with the owner, an expat from NYC. This bar bleeds authentic speak easy with creative cocktails from wonderful chatty bartenders. Where else in the WORLD can you find chartreuse and other hard to find liqueurs. Step aside gin and tonic lovers and let them drive leading with flavor forward tastes to meet your needs. Large, hard to find selection of whiskeys and rum too.

Rad little bar! The staff is incredible. There is no menu but they will create anything your heart desires. Everyone speaks English and they are all masters of their craft. They offer food but I was on in for drinks. I cannot recommend this place enough. Go here early and often.

This is a speakeasy bar hidden behind a coffee store front. It's cute and intimate. To order a drink, you tell the bartender what flavors you're looking for and they will provide you with a few options. Honestly it was disappointing. They basically have a menu in their head and will not do anything too creative and it's just classic cocktails where you can swap out some ingredients. It would've been much easier to order if they just had a menu.

Exceptional cocktails, great ambiance. Not easy to find... but more than worth the scout.

Dead empty but enforced one drink per person minimum. "American style cocktail" in Asia is like how panda express is a Chinese style restaurant in America. Save your $$ and get bubble tea. Drinks were 400 each.

American speakeasy or not, the American waitress needs to learn some basic Asian etiquette and manners. You don't waltz up to my table and insist on giving me a lecture on how your food def has no issues. It wasn't a fuss until you escalated it yourself, good job. Your way of speaking doesn't work in Taipei, and then I'm left w my local frens feeling awkward and uncomfortable. Learn some manners or go work in a western country, it's not like you speak any mandarin to begin with.
