Our/New York Bar & Vodka Distillery

Perhaps just good for the vibe/atmosphere? I went there back in December. It could've improved since, but the cocktails were quite bland/watery. Perhaps the place is better for drinking vodka straight up.

I rented out the bar for my 30th birthday and it was amazing! The bar manager made me a unique custom cocktail based on the types of drinks I like and had it on display at the bar for everyone to order. They made sure there were plenty of snacks for everyone and the mini grilled cheeses were a hit. They were also flexible with allowing me to put up the decorations I brought and storing the birthday cake. All of my friends loved the bar and we all plan on going back. Kaddy, Valerie, and all of the bar staff were awesome. Thank you!!!

So I was in a rush when I came here. It had a chilled vibe. No seating rules, just find your spot. It's hard to find places that make good cocktails but there's no wait time - cool. They definitely got their thing down with vodka. I had the Community Garden which had tomatoes, which I do not like in cocktails. Nevertheless , I loved this drink and I will definitely come back. Great after dinner date spot if you ask me. This place reminded me of Dead Rabbit, without the crowd, or the bouncer. Don't get me wrong, Dead Rabbit is one of my favorite bars in life so this is a compliment. Worth your time.

All kinds of vodka drinks. We tried a few drinks and some hummus snacks. The hummus was good too. I would expect the bathroom to be cleaner. It was not busy for a Friday night.

I recently rented out part of the distillery for my partner's birthday party. They were so accommodating and fun during the event. Everyone had a great time. Drinks were so good and the bar was not overcrowded. Highly recommend for anyone planning an event for 20-40 people.

Cool ambiance, delicious vodka, stellar cocktails. Eat before you go, the menu is more snacks than anything else.

The place is very nicely done, the drinks we tired were all delicious. The bartender told me that they use only local distilleries so all the booze is super high quality and unique. The vodka itself is made on site, super crisp and clean, this was by far the best vodka I have ever seen. Service was great and the pizza is free and delicious. We had a great time and I never felt better about giving a place a five star review.

Had the best time here for my 26th bday! Plenty of space to hold a semi-private group of ~35 and easy for everyone to have their own tabs and take care of their own drinks. Music is just loud enough to where you can talk and hear each other without needing to yell. Not really a dancey type of bar, but perfect to have drinks and chat with your guests. Bartenders were super friendly, kind, and accommodating. Loved being able to bring outside food and decoration to make the space feel like your own separate party! Overall great experience!!! <3

I was here around 10 pm on a Thursday night. I honestly didn't expect to find a good bar where I can just sit and talk. Most bars in the area are just loud Ambiance 5/5 Overall nice and chill. There was a birthday party going on when I walked in, but the space is spacious so everyone can chill at their own table. I came to the bar for a nice and chill time, so the vibe is exactly what I was looking for Drinks: 5/5 My expectations were low as well because this is midtown and close to the Penn station. I was expecting $20+ cocktails, but surprisingly everything reasonable price based on manhattan standard. I would definitely come back for the vibe and drinks

Super cute spot for the vodka drinks and great for holiday vibes. The servers and bar tenders are very nice. They have a $10 martini happy hour from 5-8 PM everyday. Their drinks normally are $18, so this is a great deal especially on the weekends when most places don't do happy hour. I ordered the I heart NY which wasn't my favorite, the passion fruit felt a bit fake and was the color of green Gatorade. However, the espresso martini was great. On a Friday evening, they were a great space to catch up with friends or a date. It wasn't too busy or loud. 4 starts for vibes and value, but more like 3 stars for drinks alone.

Fantastic & convenient spot for martini happy hours ($10!!). Stopped by for a Wednesday HH with 2 friends & really loved the ambiance inside. It wasn't too busy on a Wednesday evening, and it's really quite cozy inside. Lychee martinis are a fave here (well balanced & not overly syrupy), and the apple tini was deliciously tart. Will definitely be back for HH again!

We walked in on a Friday night and it was very lively. It was a seat yourself place and thankfully we were able to find a small table. The bartenders were kind and efficient, but in my opinion the drinks were just okay. They were a little too sweet for me. The prices were reasonable and they had a large open space so you can bring a large group.

We walked in not knowing it was a local vodka distillery- my boyfriend and I just wanted to try out a cute local bar, but were pleasantly surprised! The bartender was super attentive, and would ask us about feedback on the cocktails which I thought was very sweet. Also, it was my first time trying an espresso martini ever, and I was hooked after that night. The bartender was super nice and gave us small samples of their vodka to try, and I was in love with their basil vodka! Would have 100% bought a bottle if I wasn't heading to meet a friend after. The space itself is very cozy, cute, yet romantic, and I would highly recommend to come with friends or even a loved one. One of my favorite local bar/distillery finds recently, and can't wait to go back (and actually buy a bottle this time, haha).

Honestly had never been to a vodka distillery before but I would come back! The waitress was super friendly, the ambiance/space was really open/cool vibes/a lot of seating options and the vodka tasting itself was nice and informative. I got the "Flower District" and thought it was just the perfect amount of sweet yet refreshing and was super fun to drink! Would come back to try their other cocktails or just hangout as one of the stops of a NYC night!

Very convenient location, with a happy hour deal We went there only for the drinks, good martini for only $10. Environment is very chill and laid-back. Well definitely visit again and recommend for HH

Our/New York is a neighborhood gem. It's a very cute space with delicious handcrafted cocktails that are very well thought out and well executed. The staff members are so welcoming and friendly, and they take the time to make recommendations based on your preferences. The vodka that they distill is delicious, and they give portions of the proceeds for certain drinks to various charities and causes, which is pretty amazing and thoughtful for a young independent business that's trying to remain successful during a global pandemic. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for solid drinks that are actually worth the price. I look forward to returning soon!

Just another five star review for a place with nothing but five star reviews. This new spot is perfect for happy hours both casual and a little more on the fancy side. Amazing drinks, friendly bartenders, happy hour specials and good music. There is no better combination. The space is absolutely beautiful with a big window that looks into the distillery. You can grab one of the tables, get lucky enough to snag a couch or just hang out at the bar. It's big enough that you won't be crowded, which is so incredibly rare for where they are. Our group of 6 called ahead to make a reservation and were met with a table ready for us, set up so wonderfully. You order at the bar, and no matter how busy it got, it never took long to get a drink. I started off with an old fashioned, which has quickly become my go to. There's was definitely one of the stronger ones that I've had, but delicious nonetheless. Drink number two was their take on the mule. Topped with candied ginger, I think this was actually my favorite drink of the night. And it gave me a chance to try the vodka that they make on site! Third and last drink was another mule. It was a sweeter and not too strong, something I like in a second or third drink. This was a great spot to spend a few hours post work, and the crowd toward the end of the night seemed to agree. Cannot wait to come again.

It's a little hard to understand how this place is so awesome yet has so few reviews (relative to how long they've been open). I came here yesterday for a team outing and their whole staff were oh so welcoming. There was about 6 of of initially and they had reserved a table for us and set it up perfectly. They are a bar/distillery and I love how they have a huge open window giving you the perfect view right into their distillery operation. They give tours as well, you just have to ask about them and/or book through their website for a specific time. As for drinks, I kept things simple and ordered me an old fashioned, as I normally do when drinking. Any who is familiar with the drinks knows that when ordering one at a bar, they are either made really really good or really really good, with no in-between. As far as old fashioneds go, I must say, they make a really really good one... and strong I must add. I certainly plan on coming back and the next time I do, I'll be checking out the comfy chair section I noticed immediately to the right of the entrance. Glad to have found a really nice and different spot near work!

Our/New York is such an overlooked and underrated gem of a bar in the neighborhood. This is coming from someone who would rather put her vodka days behind her. One too many vodka sodas, Seagrams, and cotton candy flavored vodkas in my early twenties has made me sour on the spirit, but I quite enjoyed my drinks at this vodka distillery. If you're part of the camp that finds the taste of vodka inoffensive, you'd probably love their moscow mule and martini. For everyone else, they have beer and wine options galore, and even a really solid Manhattan. I'm a big fan of tequila, and the Chihuaha cocktail was very smooth, made even better with the addition of grapefruit, cinnamon, seltzer, and pink salt. The tufted brown leather couch and patterned rug give this place a cozy cafe feel, which was totally unexpected for a distillery. Drinks were made speedily and with a smile. They even printed special company branded menus for us since we called ahead to make a reservation. It was a nice touch to our nice happy hour.

Great service and drinks. Very intimate place with a warm atmosphere. I met with some friends for happy hour and tried the big apple-tini, empire mule, and cosmopolitan. All of the drinks were delicious! Great happy hour deals. Would definitely come back. Only complaint is that the service was a bit slow despite there only being a few people at the bar when I first arrived;but the staff are easy to track down and super friendly.

After enjoying a quick bite at Little Mercado Spain my friend from out of town and I were looking for a spot to grab some HH to get our evening started. After researching the area a bit on yelp we decided to try Our/New York out and I'm glad we did. Our/New York is a great cozy bar/distillery in the Chelsea neighborhood to grab drinks. It was pretty quiet and empty when we walked in but that was expected since it was the earlier timing for happy hour. In fact, it worked out perfectly giving us an opportunity to catch up. The bartender was very friendly and joined in with us at times during our conversation. The decor makes for a great date spot and good for large groups as well. I started off with a glass of wine and my friend got one of their signature cocktails which she thoroughly enjoyed. I then decided to take a risk and ordered an old fashioned which has been a hit or miss for me depending on the bartender. Luckily for me the bartender was spot on and made a really good one. I'm a big fan of this bar and definitely plan on coming back to enjoy the atmosphere and their cocktail selection. I highly recommend on giving this bar a try for some HH and/or a fun evening night out.

A super posh place for late night cocktails. Apparently it's the first distillery to open in NYC post prohibition. Of course, I had to get a Manhattan since I was in manhattan. It's a cozy little bar with easy going bartenders. A ton of cocktails to choose from as well. The manhattan was equal parts sweet as it was bitter and aromatic. Lovely night cap.

I went to Our/New York for the first time this past weekend and was absolutely blown away! I am a vodka girl and their vodka cocktails were just *chef's kiss* . We ordered the Community Garden and Basilicious Spritz cocktails, and I can't begin to say how amazing their vodka is. The basil ingredient in their vodka is phenomenal. The Basilicious Spritz is now my favorite vodka cocktail of ALL-TIME! This place is also a vodka distillery, which makes it distinct from other bars in the area. The interior space was beautiful and clean and service was AMAZING. BIG BIG shoutout to Kaddy, the manager, who was so hospitable and personable and gave us some history behind their vodka. To say I'm obsessed with Our/New York is an understatement. Much love to this establishment and wishing it longevity and success!

Been a few times and each time it's been great. The spot is great, the drinks delicious and just string enough. The staff attentive. All this from a non martini person. But the espresso martini is amazing for those coffee lovers.

The best martini happy hour! It's not a very big spot so just be aware that it may be packed, but it's a great bar other than that.

I can't recommend this place enough! The space is really cute and great for a photo shoot. Don't walk, run to this place! I had my birthday there last night and it was amazing! The drinks are to die for, they even made me a special drink just for my birthday! Not to mention the bartenders are awesome. They are attentive and nice! Plus the Bar Manager Kaddy is so kind, she went out of her way to make sure I had a great time and had a great playlist!

I went here for the second time last night and had another incredible experience. The servers are all incredibly friendly and the environment is very relaxing yet fun. My girlfriend loves the Garden District drink and I had the Highline which was also incredible. I'll definitely be back and I recommend Our/New York to others!

I signed up for a free tour online for Saturday at 6pm. When we arrived, we were the only ones. The tour lasted about 20 mins and was made easy to understand. At the end, we each had a sample of 100 proof and 80 proof vodka. Both were SO smooth and aromatic.. Happy hour runs from 4-7pm daily and includes high quality cocktails for just $11. We tried the East River (dirty martini) and NY-groni (negroni made with vodka).These were AMAZING! The dirty martini was balanced with a nice touch of blue cheese filled olive. The negroni had herbal notes that resembled gin and fell on the sweeter side. The bar was clean, spacious, a great place to hang out. The noise level was moderate. There were also books and games. Regular priced cocktails were only $13 which is unbeatable for NYC. I'm still surprised it wasn't busy. I would most definitely return!

Looking for a more sophisticated spot for HH in NOMAD/Flatiron? Get thee to Our/New York! They also make their own spirits on the premises and if you're a vodka fan, be prepared for some of the smoothest cocktails featuring the agreeable spirit. I've never met a Mule that I didn't like and their take on it is crisp and delightful, the perfect 11 dollar HH cocktail. Also, there's candied ginger gracing the garnish. You should eat it, otherwise if you're with me, I'll probably ask you what's wrong with you. And then I'll just take yours and you'll miss out. The drinks are great, the bartenders are swift and attentive (even after the place started filling up) and there's nothing that's going to make me love a place more than when you feel like everything that goes into the operation is genuine. My team picked this spot for our monthly HH and they couldn't have been more accommodating, even set up a special table with a welcome note for us. We felt all special and stuff...

We came with a group of 6 on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. We sat in the couch seating area which was incredibly comfortable. Our friend mentioned he had been before and it was a vodka distillery so that was pretty neat. Ordered an excelsior 64: their own vodka, elderflower, violette, lemon, and sparkling wine Incredibly smooth and refreshing. The violette on top really tops it off and adds a lot of character to the drink. Since we were the only ones there for 1-2 hours, it was a fantastic experience. The bartender was highly attentive and took our orders from us. Fantastic service!

Nice cocktail bar with in-house made vodka and amazing signature cocktails. They even brand their logo onto the orange peels. The Flower district and Brooklyn bridge are great light drinks and go great with their appetizers plates.

Came here for a cocktail and drinks were so-so. We were the only group in the bar (3 of us) so it definitely wasn't busy. Drinks were a bit strong and not well balanced. Service was extremely slow. We weren't in a hurry but waited a long time. It was clean inside and people were friendly. There's many other places in NYC and would choose to check out another next time.

I had a semi private event and it was a perfect space. Oscar, Daisy, and Phillipe gave us the best service, the drinks were incredible, and everyone had an amazing time. Definitely would recommend hosting here or coming for a drink. I'll definitely be back and all my guests were raving about how great the place was.

Made a stop into Our/New York on Saturday night. A trendy distillery and cocktail bar, built around a smooth and tasty vodka. It is a worthy stop for happy hour or before dinner cocktail. Quality: Ordered a selection of different cocktails during our visit as well as sampled a bit of the O/NY Vodka. The O/NY Vodka, which is distilled on site is extremely smooth and the perfect base for the assorted cocktails on the menu. I ordered an Our/Lemonade, that had a citrusy bite, but a great kick from the cayenne. I also went with Our/Martini, a great showcase of the vodka with some vermouth and olive juice to add some flavor. My girlfriend selected the Excelsior '64 with elderflower and sparkling wine as well as a Hot Toddy, which was despite the bold flavors like banana, managed to keep on track. Quantity: Large and strong cocktails, but still quite tasty. Value: $13 for the Our/Cocktails. Ambiance: Our/New York is located a little south of Midtown Manhattan. A small-batch, locally run vodka distillery with an attached cocktail bar is a cool alternative to a standard cocktail bar. While Saturday night was not the ideal time for a tour, you can still peek at the equipment through a small window in the cocktail bar. The bar itself has all the stylish touches you expect from a Manhattan cocktail bar, but taking cues on music and entertainment from the brewery scene. A cult horror film playing on the wall with alt rock hits over the speakers. Crowd: Pretty quiet on Saturday evening, but the bartender explained it is a weeknight hot spot. Service: Truly appreciated the entertaining bartender. A quirky and a dark sense of humor. Parking: Limited street parking in this area of the city.

This rendition to New York was on point. The sidewalk floor and reversed sky to ground walls...was dope. Drinks were on point, the vodka was smooth and Paul the bartender was great. The Hot Toddy was delicious...beer and vodka shot heavenly. Festive Christmas tree....Darn it the whole ambiance was AMAZING!! Let's not forget the vodka is made on site.

Avoid thenOrange splash cocktail. Was warm, had maybe 3 ice cubes and the soda water was totally flat. Tasted like cough syrup. Yuk.

Wow, I am usually not a vodka man, but I had to try our New York vodka. I did not know what to choose so Paul told me to trust him. The drink was so good that I had to try a straight shot also. Delicious. I really think that this is one of NY secret gemstones.

Sooooo I randomly came to Our/New York because I was going to see a show at the workshop theatre and their was 20 minutes until they opened the doors. So I stumbled in here, it was cozy, empty and warm. There is a small vodka distillery in the back. I am not a vodka fan but I needed to kill some time. The menu has all vodka cocktails and prices for the bottles of vodka they have for sale. Oh nice! A drink caught my eye! The BOWERY SIAGON O/NY Vodka, Olas Chicory Cold Brew, Condensed Milk, Coffee Liqueur, White Chocolate WOW!!! It was delicious!!! Crazy because I am neither a vodka or coffee fan! But I will come back and drink coffee here anytime! Also they offer a free homemade pizza with a cocktail order. I didn't get to try the pizza because I was on a time crunch but I will be back to try it. If you don't go for happy hour the drinks can get get pretty pricey.

Too drunk to take more pic. The interior is a bit too bright and empty when we were there, it is almost like a hotel lobby which is odd but also makes it special. Very very nice cocktails with vodka base, we were offered two rounds of free pizza. N they taste like heaven! Curbs of the dog or whatever it is called is definitely one of the best, and indeed the bartender can make you whatever you want.

Came here because it was a little quieter than the bars next door. It was pretty cool decor inside and I liked the window they had that showed the distillery in the back. Most of their cocktails were vodka based (for obvious reasons), and they also had a pretty good happy hour offer for 1 shot of vodka and a tall boy beer for $9. The shot was more of a double shot, and for someone who does not enjoy vodka in the least bit, I'd say it was pretty smooth. They also offer free pizzas with the drinks... which were not good. I get that it's a bonus toss in, but it was a little bit of tomato sauce and cheese on top of a tortilla wrap that was thrown into the oven. I guess after a couple more cocktails, it'd be pretty good...

Had my birthday celebration here and couldn't have asked for a better party. The staff was kind, the drinks tasted fantastic, and the overall ambience was very chic. Highly recommend.

This distillery/bar opened up last night and every drink I had was delicious. I tried the martini, triboro gimlet, and excelsior '64. All were refreshing & the vodka was incredibly clean-tasting in each, but the excelsior was my favorite. The bartender checked in a couple times and seemed watchful of people's reactions. I take that as a sign of the good care that went into our drinks. I wish this business great success!

We had a staff event yesterday evening at Our/NY and we can't say enough how much we love this place and the people who work there. First off, the venue is beautiful. The details, colors, decor are stunning. The staff are friendly, flexible and accommodating - just so easy to work with. The distillery tour is not to be missed and you better hope Dave is your tour guide. The vodka is deliciously smooth and the basil infused is amazing. My staff could not stop raving about the entire experience.

I had the best birthday here! The staff was so accommodating and kind, I walked in and felt so special when they showed me the specialty drink they had made for the night! They were completely understanding about not having the minimum number of people to rent due to the covid situation, and still made sure I had a great time! Have your party here!

Basics: Our/New York is a cozy spot in Chelsea on 26th street between 6th and 7th avenue. Pictured below are the cozy and private seating areas that exist for your romantic date. If you're on a group date, however, there is an open area for standing and room to push tables together near the bar for a less private vibe. Drinks: Yes, there are other beverages here other than vodka like Absinthe from Bed-Stuy and other favorites like Mezcals and Whiskey. Most liquors sold here are local to the New York area, keeping true to its name. No, there aren't any happy hour deals here, but they don't skimp on the alcohol either. Date Curator had the pleasure of being served by Rustin. Not only does he remember our drinks but also small changes we liked in them last time.

Best drinks in the city - seriously never tasted anything like it. Try the community drink, super fresh ingredients!

Super cute spot with an excellent bartender that knows how to make a drink. We came here for a happy hour drink after work. I had my first martini - the vesper and my coworker had the lemonade. Both drinks were scrumptious and while yes, it was happy hour, they were very well priced for the quality pour. Can't wait to go back!

There is a reason my friend and I were the only people there on a Saturday night. There is no real draw to this place even though the bar itself is very nicely decorated and they have their own vodka label/distillery. The drinks were not good (tried 4) nor the apps (empanadas). It almost felt like my friend and I were bothering the staff by having showed up for a drink. Lol. They were all hanging out, eating and chit chatting. Literally, NO ONE else walked in for like 2 hours. It gets a star for the free vodka tasting.

I've done a few microbrewery tours in the past, but I'm much more of a vodka fan so on our current visit to NYC when we discovered this place, it was a no brainer to go. Very different to tours I've had in the past which have pretty much focused on the process. Dave is a great story teller and gives much more than a routine talk about the process itself. After the tour we got to try the vodka ofcourse and I was surprised at how smooth and flavourful it was to drink neat. We also sampled a couple of the happy hour cocktails which Antonio skilfully prepared. It's a cool, simple but stylish bar, completely unpretentious and that's thanks to Dave's vision and character. He's such an interesting guy and a genuine generous human being. For anyone who doesn't drink vodka, they serve other drinks too. Great spot, thanks Dave!

Finally a great cocktail bar without the pretentious attitude ... great drinks at great value ($13!) - relaxed and cool atmosphere and most of all very friendly service.
