After a multi-day cross-country road trip from the Midwest back to Los Angeles with my mom, we stopped off at what turned out to be the perfect desert road stop. In major need of some refreshments and some room to stretch our legs, the proprietor, Ian, served up a couple cold beers, good hospitality, and we enjoyed a few competitive games of shuffleboard accompanied by a killer soundtrack. The original mural by local artist, Adam Villacin, blew our socks off with a high desert history lesson that now has us doing more research into the psychedelic film featuring the The Flying Burrito Brothers. We were kindly offered a bumper sticker and we'll be back for sure!
