Outback Steakhouse’s Surveillance Program Will Monitor Staff | Eater

"At a Portland location of a national steakhouse chain, the restaurant is piloting “Presto Vision,” a machine-learning system that ties into existing cameras to analyze footage of staff working and interacting with guests and to send performance statistics to managers. Company statements say the software does not identify diners, does not use facial recognition, does not collect personal information, and deletes video within three days, but critics warn that such surveillance often creates a paranoid workplace, encourages managers to rely on automated monitoring rather than personal relationships, and can turn minor or unintentional slip-ups into potential grounds for discipline. The rollout is pitched as an efficiency measure, though employees’ privacy and morale concerns — and even tongue-in-cheek worries about tracking how fast patrons eat signature appetizers — persist." - Jaya Saxena

It's a nice place to go with your family. Pretty clean. We had lobster and steak and burgers. Good was ok. Steaks were a bit tough, didn't eat all of it Lobster was really good. We spent over 2 hundred for 4 of us which is ok but food should of been better for that price. Blooming onion and burgers is what I recommend.

Google
BEST EXPERIENCE AND BEST SERVICE!!! I haven’t had this great of service in a looooooooong time!! I am amazed! We have a one year old and don’t go out much, but we’ve always wanted to try outback and the blooming onion, so we decided to stop by. As you know dining out with a toddler can be difficult, our server Byron was absolutely amazing! He provided the most amazing service and was on top of bringing us bread for our little guy eagerly awaiting dinner lol he brought us drinks as soon as he saw we needed a refill and was just so so sweet!!! Even brought our little guy fruit with his dinner. We did not feel stressed or anything and it was the best date dinner we have had in a long time. Every employee was pleasant, especially our server Byron, and the food was so yummy. I would definitely come back, they truly know how to provide good service which makes you enjoy your meal even more. Thank you all!! In the end they even brought our little guy a little kangaroo toy.

Went in for lunch and the service and food never disappoints. Wait time I would say was less than 5 min., had a booth option near the bar which was fine. Ordered the Bloomin' Onion which was brought out right away steaming hot with all the sauces. Had a Filet Mignon medium rare and lobster tail which was juicy. I also order takeout which is very fast and courteous. Never had an issue where I was missing utensils, bread, butter, etc.

Google
Steak is so mid taste extremely bland I don't even want to finish this, thought I'd give this spot a chance again but it never fails. and mashed potatoes aren't thick. Go to outback Vancouver if you want a better experience.

Google
Steak was, of course, AMAZING, as was everything but my daughters Mac n cheese which was not very cheesey at ALL which was highly disappointing since everything else was so yummy.. Also, she had just turned 21 and I wanted to do a shot of Jager with her but they were out! 😡 Lame.. Also, the atmosphere was a bit dark, but all around it was pretty good 😊👍

Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. Chris waited on me and was very friendly and personable. Ordered the ribeye with sweet potato and salad. The salad is your basic dinner salad. I like that it comes with purple onions and cheese. The sweet potato is loaded with butter honey (?) and cinnamon. Too sweet for my liking but well cooked. I’ll get it w just butter next time. The ribeye was cooked exactly to my specifications and melted in my mouth. The prices are high but typical for a steak house I suppose.

Google
I recently visited Outback Steakhouse and had a mostly great experience. The highlight of the meal was definitely the ribeye steak — it was cooked to perfection with a beautiful char on the outside and a juicy, tender inside. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it had that signature Outback seasoning that just hits the spot. On the downside, the mac n' cheese was a bit of a letdown. It tasted overwhelmingly smoky, almost like it had been soaked in liquid smoke rather than cooked with a natural, subtle smokiness. Instead of being creamy and comforting, it was a little harsh and artificial-tasting, which threw off the balance of the meal. Overall, I'd come back for the steak without hesitation, but I'd probably skip the mac n' cheese next time.

Google
Usually, I feel like the best steak is the one I make at home. Well, I was caught by surprise. Outback actually makes a very good sirloin steak. I got it medium rare, and it stayed that way for the whole meal. It had an amazing flavorful outer crust, and it was just delicious. Paired with a fresh side salad, loaded red skin mashed potatoes and coconut shrimp with an orange marmalade sauce, it was a very decent meal. I'd order it again.

Yelp
Honestly a solid 3.5 - did not have too high of expectations of this being a chain restaurant but we had a nice dining experience here on a Friday late afternoon for an early dinner with a group of 4. The restaurant was not busy at all so we were greeted and seated right away in a booth. Our server Hollie was friendly and attentive and checked in on us and kept us refilled on bread, butter, and water. You truly can't go to Outback without getting the Blooming Onion so of course we got that as our appetizer. It came out hot and crispy with the special sauce but the outside parts were slightly burnt. The three-course meal for $18.99 is where it's at! You get appetizer (soup or salad), an entree with one side (steak and others are slightly higher in price), and a slice of the NY-style cheesecake. I got the garden salad and Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sammie with Aussie fries to share with my toddler, and cheesecake with raspberry sauce. Our friends got the potato soup, new breaded shrimp with mashed potatoes, and the cheesecake with chocolate sauce to share between them. It was a good amount of food and we even had leftovers after. The chicken sandwich was juicy in between the flurry brioche bun but the Aussie fries were way too salty while the mashed potatoes lacked salt. You really can't go wrong with cheesecake and I was too full and took it home to enjoy later. Yes, there are better places to eat BUT if you are craving a Blooming Onion or want to get a great deal on food, definitely consider coming here. Just make sure to set your expectations and you'll have yourself a yummy meal!

Yelp
this will forever be my moms favorite place to go for her slab of meat. as usual, service was superb! (thank you hollie) our server was very accommodating to my moms needs for extra a jus sauce it was a lot of shrimp, so plenty to take home for us. the feel of it all makes us miss the aussy culture and definitely hits the spot!

Yelp
Atmosphere: Standard Outback, but enjoyed the bar with TV's Food: Outback food is usually great. In general I loved the Kingsland Pasta. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold upon arrival. Price: It's gotten more expensive but the Outback Special steaks are still reasonable Service: Very attentive bartender who provided good service Parking: Parking lot

Yelp
Decent enough food. HUGE portions!!! Very fair price point!!! Always clean and friendly staff!

Yelp
Couldn't go out but was really wanting a steak. Ordered it and it was delivered. Perfectly cooked filet along with broccoli, a large salad, and a small loaf of pumpernickel bread with butter. Couldn't ask for better

Yelp
Our Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner experience so all family members could get together: Family of 5, and spent over 200.00 and this is what we experienced. Without exaggeration, most of the food, including the steaks/lobster were just above room temp (lukewarm). Expecting nice & hot with some amount of steam like at home, but this was not the case. This included the main entree's and baked potatoes, no noticeable heat. The only thing hot was the French Onion Soup. 50 bucks for 13oz Ribeye / Lobster: The meat was very chewy and tough, with lots of gristle and loads of fat in just about every bite. Low quality meat? The rest of the family agreed that our food must of been sitting for a long period of time before it was served. Lobster was so small, 3 maybe 4 small bites, it was gone. The thinly padded cheap foam booth seats are very hard and uncomfortable. May as well been sitting on hardwood. As for booth seating, there was not enough room to cut your steaks without elbowing those sitting next to you. Very cramped for 5 adults. Although our family was actively happy, quietly talkative, and having a wonderful time with ordered cocktails before dinner was served, the Waiter himself seemed somewhat distant and impersonal. The appetizer plates weren't even cleared when our entries arrived. Over 15 min's wait before receiving check. Still left a 20 dollar cash tip. All together, I would not recommend Outback Steakhouse to anyone. Only to let them know how very disappointing, and find a better alternative with better reviews.

Yelp
After heading out to lunch and another restaurant not being open I realized I was close to the Outback so I gave it another try. Consistently good 2x in a row so I'll definitely head back again soon to enjoy happy hour and try a few of their new items they have listed. Service was good and attentive things were timed perfectly again. I can say that is a huge pet peeve of mine when the appetizers come out with the meal or even afterwards but this place has it timed well! We love the onion petals to start and after a salad I'm usually stuffed after just a few bites of the entree. Bonus I get to have a really yummy lunch the next day.

William J.

Yelp
Service was good. The food preparation is always good. A big restaurant that isn't noisy.

Yelp
Filet mignon gets 5 stars, but I will always despise Outback's bread so it always gets zero in my book. Lol. The food was really good & usually I skip on the blooming onion as it usually tastes way too salty but my husband requested it & I had some. Let me tell you, they got it down at this location. We didn't have much of it leftover to take home! Minus one star as it wasn't terribly busy & the service was very friendly but a little too slow, especially since we went for an early dinner and the place wasn't anywhere near packed.
google avatar

Angelica D.

Yelp
The steak was yummy, but definitely steak priced! Their margaritas are very well priced and delicious. Unfortunately not a lot of gluten free appetizers choices. Would go again!

Yelp
Well. I was hoping for a good steak. Our go-to in Tillamook has closed. So we thought we'd try Outback. The place wasn't busy, so we were seated immediately in the bar. It took longer than expected for the waiter to serve us but once he realized we were there he was quite attentive. $7 drinks during happy hour. Strong and delicious! The blooming onion was a disappointment though since it seemed overcooked. Since this is a signature item we were SO let down. How do you not know how to cook a signature item? My steak was charred, had very little flavor but it was cooked correctly. My husband's blooming burger looked delicious and he said it was ok. "Just a burger." The high points were the sode salad served with my meal, the drink, and the oh so delicious carrot cake! Those three things alone....3 stars. Such a bummer.

Yelp
Dropped in on a Saturday night at 4 PM, got seated right away. The server was kind of stale but maybe he was having a tough night. Three kids got the Mac n cheese. Super bland and wasn't great. The skillet Mac and cheese we remembered was much better. They also got rid of my favorite salad, chopped pecan blue cheese. Steak was medium rare and cooked perfectly. Husband got the wedge salad that came with a teeny steak. Not worth $17! Overall, a good solid choice for steak. But the portions I feel are smaller everytime we go and the prices keep
google avatar

Christ F.

Yelp
Good atmosphere and staff. Though mixed reviews on food quality. Not always cooked or prepared the way requested. So -1 Prices were already on the high side, but they increased them more and reduced portion sizes on the things that count. So -1

Yelp
I was a little disappointed with the steakhouse salad I ordered. It looked so good on their menu, but it's different from what I got. One star for their pork chops, my daughter liked it. One star for the free bread, it's really yummy.
google avatar

Yelp
i didn't come with high expectations, but i was disappointed by their sides. the mashed potato was like puree and the sweet potato was way overcooked. both tasted like mush. the sirloin was flavorful and cooked perfectly. the house salad was drenched in dressing--i recommend asking for that on the side. they were busy and service was slow, but our waiter was kind. the bloomin onion could've used more batter since the first layer barely had any. the ahi tuna was good. overall, ok experience!

Anna M.

Yelp
This place does not disappoint!!!! Went again and everything awesome. This place is good if you're going on a date or you're gonna take your wife or spouse out for romantic dinner. Kid friendly like I stated and very accommodating for people with sensitive stomachs. Remember before you order the appetizers, ask for their never-ending free bread with butter. I don't know what the heck that bread is but it's super delicious.

Yelp
We recently went and had dinner at Outback (after many many years) and it was a great experience. Our server was Holly and she was GREAT! As a parent with a child with food allergies, it can be difficult going out to restaurant's. Many places we go, servers are not confident in whether things are safe for our child to eat and don't initiative to go to the kitchen/chef and find out. They pretty much just tell you to check online. I always look online before going, but getting confirmation at the restaurant is a must. Holly was great. She knew if the items we were going to get were safe or not. She asked if we wanted her to bring bread as it was not allergen friendly. She checked on us just the right amount. She has great service and personality. My only complaint is that the tables in the area we were in were so close you could barely get through.
google avatar

Dan I.

Yelp
Steak was normal, I ordered a medium rare and I got a medium but for $20 I think that's okay. The service was about a 30 minute wait the inside was nice though, they had a lot of decorations. The sides were random vegetables and mashed potato's pretty basic nothing fancy.

Yelp
Exceptional food. Ive eaten in restaurant a few times, but I mainly order to go. This location always has great service, and I love it. We order so much they even know our name, quite shocking by my opinion. Id rate it an overall 9.5/10 :3

Yelp
went here this weekend to have nice dinner with some fellas and met a rude employee by the name of hudson, i made a simple request and he got agitated and aggressive towards my black friends . besides that the food was 10/10 we would 100% come back, we loved the outbacker burger the waiter ashley was so nice and chill.

Yelp
Came here for my wife's birthday last night. Had the whole family with us. They are handling covid well - clean, space and masks... We had 2 appetizers, the blooming onion and the wings. Personally thevwings here are about my favorite anywhere. Perfect level of heat and flavor. The onion is always good but usually oily from being deep fried. Tasty though. Steaks are good. I get the rib eye most of the time. Last night I got the Alice Spring Chicken as I didn't feel like beef. Absolutely amazing! It is a grilled chicken breast with sauted onions mushrooms and bacon with cheese melted over it. Served with a honey mustard sauce. So good! Comes with 2 sides. I had mashed potatoes and a Ceasar Salad. Great meal. My wifevloved her filet. I don't remember any complaints from our table. All good! They gave my wife a brownie sundae for desert which was amazing and a perfect complement. Great job!

Yelp
I went to Outback (SW Barnes) and I haven't been to an Outback in a long time, since it was good and in another state. I had a problem with the hostess and seating. As we were trying to find a suitable seat the hostess called us annoying and had a very bad attitude. "Meangirl" I decided to report this to the manager. The "manager" looked at me in a daze and dumb look and ignored the whole situation. Things started to get weird I wanted to leave but my partner was hungry, so then requested for the General Manager, Holly. She did apologize and used a lame excuse that they are young. I don't really see that this is acceptable. If they're too young to work around adults, they shouldn't be working in that position. Keep them in the back of the house. To top it all off they burnt my steak and the Meangirls stared us down as we were leaving. That caused a problem resulting in getting ask to leave as we were leaving anyway. This hostess created a bad situation for herself and others by being a rude and untrained.

Yelp
Food was just okay. Service was friendly and attentive. We ate in the bar area which was casual and comfortable.
google avatar

Kris C.

Yelp
Dry, old, overcooked yet cold food. Clearly their food is premade and sits under an inefficient heat lamp. Ordered on postmates and nothing received was edible, food looked like it had been sitting for a week. Completely disgusting if I could leave negative stars I would...it was that bad.
google avatar

Araceli L.

Yelp
The shrimp started tasted like grease that hasn't been changed in forever plus they were burnt, burger was also burnt. Salad was the best thing and the bread, they sent us a gift card cuz my husband called and complained about the food, we came back to spend the gift cards and maybe they knew it was us again cuz the waitress kept giving us dirty looks, and this time everything we ordered was salty!
google avatar

Cindy N.

Yelp
The $38 Filet Mingon was terrible! It was tough, like leather. I ordered it medium, "Pink in middle". It was well done. Definitely not juicy. Very dry. Thin. Last visit 1 years ago was terrible too. I was given a gift card for Outback. Otherwise, I'd never have gone again there. Salad was good. 1 star. I've never gotten such a small baked potato in a restaurant.
google avatar

Brenda S.

Yelp
I ordered the Outback burger w the house pickles. Sooo disappointed, between the sauce and the home made pickles it ruined the burger. I think the pickles were bread n butter pickles but they just threw the whole Burger off. It was the first time I didn't order the salmon I like Outback salmon that's always a win-win.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Maybe they should shrink down their locations and only sell blooming onions. Our visit a couple days ago convinced to not go back. My steak was overly salted, and tough. It was cooked properly. The bread was not fresh, nor did our waiter ask if we'd like more. I just wanted the option to say no. My wife ate some veggies and decided to take her steak home. She asked for it medium well. The picture I attached is how it looked after she put it in the convection for 15 minutes(rare) Our waiter was a robot, zero energy, zero personality and never asked about our food once it was delivered.

Yelp
This is my second time coming to this Outback Steakhouse location. The two girl hosts/bussers up front were very kind. Anyways both times I have come here I have got the same server. He is a taller bald white male and wears a mask I believe his name is Travis ? Well both times we left feeling very upset over how we were treated.. the first time was my anniversary with my boyfriend and we were pretty excited because we had never been and the server was rude and not very friendly the entire time. Everything I asked I felt like he was mad at me or just did not want to be there. And he made me feel stupid with the way he answered my basic questions. So fast forward to this last Monday December 30th 2024. It was my father's birthday. It's been a rough year so it was nice to treat him to dinner at a nice establishment. Well we got the same server... and this time he was worse. We thought about leaving after we had barely ordered the appetizer. My father asked if there was a happy hour and the server responded in a very monotone manner " well I'm sure there is" and that was it. He didn't try to say he was sure or that he would ask but that's all he said. And then We had questions about the drink menu like what the little boomerang symbols that were next to some of the items meant and what " Aussie style " meant as well. He then responded and said " well is there a boomerang symbol on that menu?" But very condescending... again it's only our second time and we didn't see where it explained what it meant on the menu... he could've nicely pointed it out and not make us feel stupid.. he then explained the Aussie style and the down under style in a bit of a confusing way so my father just hurried and decided because he felt the server was mad at us for asking questions and my father ended up not liking what he ordered because he was rushed. Anyways once the appetizer came the server dropping off some lemon for my water and while he was dropping it off my dad kindly asking if we could get some more sauce for the appetizer. He server walked away to another table while my dad was talking to him and he didn't even acknowledge us. Once he came back I tried to asked for the sauce again and he did the exact same thing and then after he talked to the table that he walked to while I was asking him for something he walked back and I asked so he brought it but again he seemed like he did not want to be there doing his job AT ALL. After the rest of the food came we had not seen him for awhile and we were out of water and I needed to place a order Togo so we flagged down one of the hosts to ask if we could order through he because we needed to go. She said we had to through our server so she went and found him and then he came to the table and took my order. Anyways for 150$ on dinner I would expect atleast decent service .. like a smile or not making the guests feel stupid for basic menu questions ! I am also a server and I understand having a bad day but i don't think it's a coincidence that both times I went and had him as a server it was the same treatment... it's not that hard to fake a smile and treat your guests with care !! I began to cry at the dinner table because I felt bad at how he made my father feel stupid and was so rude. I felt like I was just in the way the entire time. Anyways. I would love to come back but I would definitely request to not have Travis as a server. Disappointed:((

Yelp
Outback Steakhouse is great value for what you get. The food is always delicious and cooked perfectly. I love their bread as it is so soft and delicious. I ordered the fully dressed Aussie Fries as an app and it was absolutely delicious. I also got the ribeye cooked medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. The potatoes were a little watery and underwhelming but the Mac and cheese was really good. My steak was pretty salty but I recall their steak being over seasoned every time I go. It might just be how they season their meat. However, it was cooked to the perfect temperature. Overall, extremely solid choice and a great place to eat with excellent service!

JerriLyn K.

Yelp
Overall it was a good experience. My husband and I started out with a Bloomin' Onion. Good, but very greasy. We won't get it again. I had the 6oz sirloin with two sides. Paid just under $5 extra for the French Onion Soup crock as one of my sides and then a side salad. Normally the small crock of French Onion Soup is $9.99. I will pass on this next time. Would just stick to the sides that are offered. Steak tasted good and was cooked correctly. My husband had a burger. He said it tasted good and would rank it higher than an Applebee's Burger and close to a Red Robin Burger. His favorite Burger is still from Oswego Grill. The waitress was nice and personable. The women's bathroom was clean, but no seat Protectors available to use.

Yelp
Petite Sirloin was tough on Oct 8 2023, By time I found out, it was too late go back. Treated me really really good Service My go to steak house

Yelp
Pros: Attentive waitress took our order quickly and checked up on us after food arrived Complimentary small, warm bread loaf and soft butter given Good size portions Nice and ample seating Menu has calories listed Formal napkins given Crayons and colorable menu for kids Cons: Expensive (most items around $20) Food slow to come out Toilet in women's restroom clogged and wouldnt flush Steak was fatty
google avatar

Joan C.

Yelp
The steaks are less than average and the sides are less than mediocre. Don't waste your time or money

Yelp
This has to be the best Outback in the nation. I've been to many before and none compare to this location. The staff is always great although I'm not sure I've ever had the same server. The kitchen can be quite loud so I like to sit farther away. The only issue I have here is the bathroom is usually a wreck. Otherwise, the food is generally on point!

Tracy M.

Yelp
Usually have no problem with service in here. But man-tall bald dude behind the bar must've been having a bad day. You can't seriously expect tips when you act like that. Brutal. Do better.
google avatar

Travis T.

Yelp
I hadn't been to an Outback in 15 years and heard they've gone downhill, so I came in with low expectations. The service and food definitely exceeded those expectations. We were greeted and seated immediately. Quick service for drinks and appetizers. We ordered a Blue Moon, old fashioned, and Bloomin Onion. The old fashioned was strong and a heavy poor, good value for $12. The Bloomin Onion was as I remembered, perfectly fried with a flavorful seasoning. I probably won't order it next time because it's a large portion for just 2 people. For entrees we got the 8oz filet mignon and baby back ribs. The filet was nice and thick and cooked to perfection with a well seasoned crust on top. The ribs were tender and had plenty of sauce, maybe a little too much, but you can always scrape some off. Our server Emily was very fast and friendly. Even though we don't typically go to chain restaurants, I think we'll be coming back here.

Yelp
The recent steaks I have gotten from this Outback Steakhouse have been of lesser quality than those served a couple of years ago. I do not expect Prime graded steaks but not just Good (or below Good). What was just presented to me as a bone-in ribeye was tough and tasteless. Outback needs to take itself "outback" and rethink the quality standards of its offerings. If it cannot deliver a quality steak get out of the business!

Michael W.

Yelp
I ordered the prime rib dip sandwhich with aussie fries. The taste of the beef was enhanstenced with the nasty flavor of poorly a seasened grill. It ruined the entire meal with a nasty taste in every bite. The size of the regular fries serving was extremly small and I was disappointed thes where just regular fries. With th hype of Aussie Fries I exspected at LEAST Dinner Fries, But I was disappointed. There was also a small child in the boothe behind me yelling the entire time with parents that could care less about the people trying to enjoy thier meal, I am talking about a solid 20 minutes of screaming. I mean LOUD CRYING FOR OVER A SOLID @ MINUTES

Yelp
We went here as a group late last week for my brother's birthday as it was a central location for everyone. I made reservations the night before just to make sure we were able to be seated promptly. The hostess sat us when we got there. Overall, the experience with the group and our great server made it well. He was on top of everything and even was willing to split up the bill individually. He apologized for not having the stuff that was listed on the website and tried to make it up by bringing a similar dessert, which was above and beyond what we expected. The food - my brother's prime rib was a bit dry; my friend's steak salad was a bit over seasoned; the blooming onion was a bit greasy...but still addicting; however my ribeye was cooked perfectly and tasted good to me. In this situation, as mentioned earlier, the server made it a great experience for us.
google avatar

Mikhail H.

Yelp
On occasion I will order takeout from here. I do like that their entrees come with vegetables as options versus just something fried or a really bad salad. I have ordered their salmon which was prepared well and packaged well. They do have a pretty delicious array of appetizers. I did appreciate bread being included but it was not impressive.
google avatar

Elle R.

Yelp
We had our food delivered tonight by Uber Eats. The food is usually good. We each got separate, full meals. Only one of us received a piece of bread. One small, SOGGY, thin slice of bread (ever hear of aluminum foil?). Inedible. Gross. I always look forward to their pumpernickel bread, but this was tossed right into the trash. Why would you throw it into a container with a juicy meal??? Bread absorbs liquid, duuuuhhhhh. You're supposed to get a small loaf, wrapped in aluminum foil, like you get when you're actually there. Please teach your employees how to wrap bread correctly and that bread comes with ALL meals. #stingywiththepumpernickel Also, we ordered a side of vegetables. Just broccoli?? YUCK!!!

JM D.

Yelp
08/01/23 - A horrible experience by rude servers. I would stay away from this location. They are totally the type that would do something to someone's food they don't like. I picked up my order and they made passive aggressive comments about where I parked, which was where their sign states I should park for pickup. They were slow with no one parked in the area so not sure what the issue was. I told them I was parked legally where their sign says and I could hear them in the back complaining about me to each other. They were saying negative things about me because I complained about them making side comments. When I mentioned this to them they just ignored me even though I could hear them in the dining room. Glad my food was already prepared because they would totally do something to it. The waitress had long dark hair in a ponytail and the waiter was short, a little pudgy, with dark hair in a ponytail and scruffy. Both were probably in their twenties.

Yelp
Australian Cab: Very good! Victorian Filet and grilled shrimp: Also VERY good! Grilled shrimp was a good call. Sweet potato was OUT OF THIS WORLD! So good. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. 5 star plus. Wednesday is easily the best day to eat here. Specials are $9.99 and discounts on drinks.

Yelp
We have never had a tough steak, or not the greatest diners. Although, like everywhere the skyrocketing prices limit how often we do there.

Yelp
When we walked in the hostess was rolling silverware. Elisha was our server. He did amazing! He had a wonderful additude, and was very attentive. Everyone seemed to work well and as a team! The sauce with the blooming onion was the wrong spice for me with the horseradish in it, but they got me rach which was very delicious and you could tell made in house. The steak was perfect. The drinks were on point. All in all amazing trip thankyou!

Yelp
This restaurant is close to my home, so I´ve been here tens of times. The service is definitely attentive and friendly, the food is consistent. As an advisor to Operation Homefront, I recently learned about their support of Military families https://www.outback.com/offers/operation-homefront and they offer a 10% ¨heroes discount¨ which covers police/fire/first responders in addition to military and veterans. I did notice some of the offers like Walkabout Wednesday can be a little different at individual locations vs. whatś on the website. I actually brought this to their attention and they acknowledged it. Currently, their menu is inundated with Bloomin´ Onion inspired dishes. Those don´t seem appealing so I hope they quickly move on. If you want a steak, lobster, ribs, salmon, chicken or a burger, this is a reasonably priced fast-casual format restaurant.

Yelp
This is the second time my Husband and I went to the Outback after a hard day. Our server was wonderful. My husband had BBQ ribs that were dry and seemed to have been reheated. I ordered the overcooked coconut shrimp which were smothered in an unrecognizable coating. They were greasy-- seemed to have been cooked in old oil. We also ordered the famous onion blossom which arrives over-cooked, dark brown, swimming in grease at the bottom of the dish. I find all of this odd because the manager was obviously there and he didn't seem to observe the over-brown fried things coming out of the kitchen on the way to our table. We like the drinks and the convenience of the location, but we will not make this mistake again. I was sick when we got home, the grease got me
