Outback Steakhouse

Update 06/14/2025 Decided to come to the Outback the day before Father's Day to avoid the crowds. The last time we came here was two years ago on Father's Day and everything was amazing. This time is no different. Outback is normally a very good place to go out to eat. However, I visited an outback in a Laughlin hotel last year, and frankly it was terrible. This Outback in Victorville is great though. Our server Ryleigh was very nice and courteous. She took care of all of our needs and then some. The food was phenomenal in taste and quality. Will be returning to this Outback soon.

Went to dinner with the hubby and got to interact with Mia who is so welcoming, nice, polite, great people skills, and has such a warm personality. Our server Jackie is so sweet, super on top of checking on us, and just a great server all around! Both these girls are doing amazing and demonstrate awesome customer service 💜

The food was delicious! Blooming burger (double patty) extra $ for the patty. Serena our waitress was very friendly, nice and patient… She also gave my wife a rose for Mother’s Day 🙏

Our local Outback is one of our favorite places for dinner. The other steak houses in the area play unbelievably loud music. Dining should be about socializing, talking and listening. The atmosphere is perfect. I had salmon; I wish I could make salmon as great as they do. I thought I left my phone there, and Crystal was wonderful for taking time to check. Great food, service and atmosphere.

When I first arrived, there was no hostess up front so I went to the restroom. When I returned there was still no hostess and as I waited a couple entered and the hostess appeared and ignored the fact that I had been waiting and started helping the couple. The gentleman was nice enough to redirect her to help me first and a table for 6 was requested for a birthday party to accommodate one individual with a wheelchair. The restaurant was so cold you couldn't even enjoy the food. My reserved table was set up, but they would seat me until half my party arrived. Then when they arrived I went out to help and out table was given away to a family who arrived after my party, because it took too long to unload a wheelchair member of our dining party with a lift. Our waitress was actually wonderful!

My Porterhouse was good, but honestly it was a T-bone with a microscopic filet. The wife ordered a bone-in Ribeye and got a boneless one. Then we had to request they honor the price difference ($7).

Mia was our server and it could’nt have a better evening.last weekend. We were eight people and she did a wonderful job serving. She was so personable and She had a smile on her face, the service was so accommodating and our food was so good so thank you again. Mia made it an exceptional evening. Diane Zimmerman

It was overall a great eating experience our server was attentive and the food was smacking. Steak cooked perfectly just the right amount of red in the center. And those new side skillets are out of this world. JS

First of all, Madison did a great job as a server. Two of us got prime rib. Really tender and cooked as asked. Ahi plate was good. 5 oz steak was also tender. We were there around 3:45 and there was no wait. Restaurant wasn't clean and quiet.

Went to have dinner here yesterday with the family ordered the filet and lobster tail. I ordered the filet medium rare and when I received it and cut into it and it was rare. Super bloody seemed like they just seared the top sides and bottom. Asked the waitress to return it and she gave me attitude about it. Definitely not coming back anytime soon!

I gave outback 5 stars because of our waitress and management team. Service was better than expected and management was very engaging with us. Our food on the other hand couldn't seem to come together. Maybe the chef was having an off day which it happens or our order was difficult after all my friends are a difficult bunch of girls. Either way service was top notch and we will be back again. Ambiance is dull nothing spectacular but it works definitely not Steer 'N Stein. If you're looking for a fast food steak house Outback should be your go to choice. Service & management are excellent

Grilled Chicken on the Barbie is pretty good. It comes with tangy BBQ sauce but the meat is about half as big as the plump picture in the menu. lol :-)

Okay, let's start off by saying the food was really good and our server was really nice. However, the chimichurri steak picture on the menu was this beautiful displayed steak slices with the blooming onion petals on top. This is a $30 - $35 plate. That's not what I received. In my photo two bites are missing, but otherwise it was mainly the onion with a little steak on the side. If you're going to specifically advertise a meal on the menu, I'd suggest delivering it the way it looks. It wasn't worth the money we paid for it.

Dee, the bartender is fabulous and the manager is awesome such personal service! The food is always cooked to perfection. The restaurant is always so clean. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Management did reach out and apologize and gave us some gift cards to use towards our next meal, we did not return to the Victorville location , but the Outback in Brentwood TN was a good experience.

Diane and I had another great meal here, this time on the way to Laughlin. I downed two add-ons of Sauteed 'Shrooms: one as an app, and one to adorn my Filet. Complimentary Brown Bread and butter started us off on a good note. A crock of French Onion Soup was cheesy and very good. And a classic Caesar Side Salad was quite big with creamy Caesar Dressing. Meanwhile, Diane really liked her bowl of Baked Potato Soup. For my main I ordered a Victoria's Barrel Cut 6 oz. Filet Mignon, which was medium rare as ordered, and accompanied by a Sweet Potato filled with Cinnamon and Honey Butter. These items were further enhanced by 4 Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie. Diane was pleased with her two 4 oz. Grilled Lobster Tails situated on the plate near Drawn Butter and a Stuffed Baked Potato that contained butter, cheese, and bacon bits. Even the fruity Iced Tea was remarkably tasty. Service by Mario P. was excellent and responsive. And without any prodding or complaint by me, he took one of the 'Shrooms off the bill "because it came out of the kitchen late." Booth seating at a wood table was comfortable enough. XXXX-1/2 stars overall!

High desert, WAKE UP. Stop sleeping on Outback in Victorville. My husband and I have been coming here for a year now non stop and the food, drinks are always so delicious! Forget Roadhouse, this is the place to stop and enjoy authentic delicious food. Never fails. Will always be our go too. & customer service is the absolute bonus. Picture shows my husband and I sharing sides because the servings are always more than enough. Steak grilled to our liking. It cannot get better than this.

Well, Outback used to be one of my favorite places to eat. My last visit was subpar and super pricey. I know prices have gone up, but an almost $400 bill for 7. Everything is an upcharge.. watch out! Blooming onion was much smaller than usual and extra greasy. Ribeye steak was flavorless. The highlight of my meal was the Paloma and my wedge salad. To top it off, the waitress asked if we'd like dessert and we declined. She then kept asking us if we wanted to add more ... I said more what. She answered more on your bill?! Really? Bizarre ....

My family's dinners were extremely excellent. Our steak was so tender and cooked tp perfection. Highly recommend!

Fix your dam hours! Drive all the way out here for the hours online to be different from in-person. They locked the doors and will not let you in. Even the workers will walk out and hold the door shut and say Bye! While people are eating and just sitting down.

So we order ribeye steak dinner and it's looks just like the sirloin dinner I had. The funny think is my sirloin was thicker than the ribeye, upon taste both steaks they appear exactly the same. Service is good, what a shame there steaks are all the same with different names!

We both ordered sirloin steak y husband had a side of macaroni and cheese .both dinners were horrible the steaks were so dry and hard to even cut with a knife and it was so tuff, and no taste at all the Mac and cheese was terrible!! We will never eat there again! I don't recommend don't waste your money. Service was good j

Had a giftcard for $100 so me and my husband decided to have dinner here one evening. The host was friendly and we asked to sit in the bar. We sat in the booth and the waitress came over soon after. We ordered some drinks 5/5, and the following to share... blooming shrimp 2/5 (it was sooo greasy, I patted with napkins and it was still super greasy so I wouldn't recommend), a bone in ribeye 2/5 (it's outback, didn't expect amazing) with loaded mashed potatoes 1/5 (tasted like box and the bacon was bacon bits from the jar) and roasted Brussel sprouts 5/5 (this was the star of the night, I could eat these alone and be satisfied). Finished off with a slice of carrot cake. 1/5 (tasted super stale) Overall the waitress, drinks and the brussel sprouts saved the night but I wouldn't return unless I have another gift card to spend. Forgot to take pics of everything that came out.

Seriously i don't know why i tried giving Outback another chance... i seriously thought the food was bad at another location and its just in all outbacks. Im not coming back its the food not the customer service at all. My steak wasn't good and the size was just ridiculous. Do not order steak . I do live the order of fries that i give a 10.

Not what it used to be. I used to come here with my husband maybe every other month. Time passed and now we come maybe once or twice a year. The last time, they placed our group at separate tables that weren't meant to be pushed together which was awkward. The place wasn't busy at all but the staff was hard to locate and kept forgetting things we'd ask for. The food is still good, tasty and exactly as I remember. Although the prices seemed to have gone up. The fancy Mac and cheese is by far my favorite! And you can't pass up some Bloomin' Onion. Yum! I think as long as the food is still good we'll continue coming back.

The food was good service skittle slow, but overall we had a nice dinner. Loved the pasta and shrimp! The beer was ice cold which was great!

Went for lunch today with my family and we thought it was going to be a good experience. Our waitress Claudia was friendly and attentive. We ordered our food and that's when the problems began. We waited for about an hour (it wasn't busy maybe a handful of people) We finally asked about our food and suddenly they brought it out. It was cold and looked like it had been sitting awhile. We sent it back and had to wait another half hour, and were told that the manager was going to come and talk to us and take care of everything. Nope...he was absolutely rude!!! He acted as though we were in the wrong for complaining. I don't think we will be going back anytime soon. Do better!!!

Always serving good food and friendly attentive service. The bar is a great place to sit and eat too. The bartender is super!

Food was not hot. Steak was undercooked Even after we sent it back once Second time with the same cold food. It's just not good anymore.

While this still wasn't the best situation, someone reached out to rectify the problem and I'm satisfied with the outcome. Good customer service from whoever I was emailing with

It was the day after Valentine's Day! We got there before the crowd! We were seated right away! The bartender was great! Our service was fantastic! The server was very knowledgeable with the menu and gave us her recommendations! The ambience was very cozy! We relate joyed our dinner! We'll definitely be returning!

Absolutely worst service ever from the manager Louie. Got an over cooked steak then a raw literally blue in the middle steak . Ruined my wife's birthday. Now I have to go somewhere else to eat after giving you 3 attempts to cook a steak which is what yall are supposed to be known for. Its in your name . Medium rare ain't hard .

Overly priced restaurant for a high-end Dennys style eatery. Ordered drinks, and steak dinners with salads, etc. Cocktails were okay, but sooo overpriced!! This location up in Victorville should have been an obvious letdown from the get-go; however, visiting people has its downfalls one can only expect in certain places!! Lol! The salads came too close with the meals, and were nothing to brag about! The steaks were nothing special, but my friends prime rib was a disaster. Overall, just okay, but no one left happy. Another cocktail?? The bill was extremely overpriced for this location, quality, and service. An empty restaurant is usually the best clue, especially on the weekend!!! If on the road, and pickings are slim...

The food is consistently good, no doubt about it. Kings Pasta is our go to, the bread is fire especially with a special jam they can make in the back. The prices are up there but the food quality is great and service is consistent.

The service was great. The place was clean . The food was definitely out of a box . The salad was old and borderline slimy. They did take it off our bill . More effort needs to be put in . Or stop pinching pennies.

I usually prefer to make "Nights Out" a little "extra" special for my Princess, so in most instances I will purchase a small table setting of flowers, and bring a few gifts in a bag about an hour BEFORE our reservation to coordinate with the Host / Hostesses to do a Pre-Placement of the flowers at whatever table they plan to seat us, about 5 minutes before we walk in the door so it's a more celebratory / surprise atmosphere. Needless to say, this is not always possible, if the Restaurant is busy, and staff are otherwise occupied; HOWEVER, last night I was fortunate enough to have Arianna and Lenae "on station" -- who made it super easy, enjoyable, AND Effective -- in terms of making Our Dining Experience, by far, one of the Best We Have experienced in recent memory -- easily rivaling the Best Steakhouse Victoria Gardens has to offer. Arianna and Lenae coordinated with Ashton, Our Server, to make every aspect of our Meal the very best possible (very attentive, and good with making recommendations for drinks, desserts, etc.). All-in-All, I would have to say -- it would definitely be worth driving from Rancho Cucamonga, up to Victorville, to get this kind of service and selection. Three Cheers for Outback in Victorville (and By ALL Means -- put Several "Extra Shrimp on the Barby")!

The service was okay wasn't the best one of our table burger was cold when they got to us on the inside take them awhile before they got us some bread. The fries wasn't hot when we got it . The fries wasn't great either it was kind of more on the salty side to me . Kind of figured it wasn't that busy maybe we get to enjoy our family dinner but nope . Was very disappointing I wouldn't go there again to be honest the food was not it for me .

Serena was AMAZING , best server of the high desert. Charismatic, polite and very attentive, will recommend to request her every visit, greatest example of customer service.

slow as fuck! waited a whole hour before getting my food. watched people come in AFTER me get there food. eat and leave ALL while still waiting for my food. waste of time and the management act like they can't do shit.

I had a Caesar salad the plate was dirty After I had a few bites Grilled shrimp and a baked potato. I've been sick since last night. It is their responsibility to clean up. No matter how busy I'll never eat again.

Outback..... What can I say. The serloin was supposed to be medium but was closer to medium well. Look past that it came out pretty fast but it was very chewy and lacked flavor. The mac was very bland. My wife took one bite and was done. She didn't even want to take it home l. The .asked potatoes were ok. I had the wings. Do not get these of you don't like spice. The ranch dressing is some of the worst I e had flavor wise. The drinks were AWESOME!!! I had the and my wife had the Huckleberry something moonshine. Our waiter was good.

The manager, Tony was the best part of our experience! Everything was top notch and you can tell he took pride in his team and the service and food they provided and cared for his customers!

7/20/2024 First of all the front girl Riley was just so nice the sweetest thing talking to us for a long time and making us feel very comfortable a great way to start off the meal, our server Arleen was just amazing very attentive and just the sweetest thing letting us take our time ordering and not pushing us to order fast something my family is very bad at, but she was great, the food was amazing just a lovely experience. Outstanding service and ambiance just amazing would highly recommend getting a meal here for anyone in Victorville, California!

We visited the O.R.H. tonight 12/2/24 at approximately 5:30 pm. We were seated immediately and the server had excellent follow-up skills and was very friendly. We ordered the Grilled Chicken w/Cognac, Top Sirloin Steak w/Shrimp, BBQ Chicken dinner, and Potato Skins. The food was served promptly and was hot and tasty (kudos to the chef). Also glad they brought back the Sweet Tea, best in the High Desert. Our family will be visiting this excellent restaurant more often in the future. Only suggestion is to replace the burnt out bulbs on the Roadhouse sign on the side of the building. Thanks again...

My meal was cooked to perfection and my server Thomas was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly, will definitely request him every time! All the staff we had interactions with were great as well.

Omg! Came at 3:30 pm so of course no wait. Our server was great even made sure the cocktail I ordered was what I was wanting. The watermelon Paloma was divine! Bf got the koala cocktail which was a little too sweet for me. But still good. But the food... my lobster tails were absolutely amazing. My bf loved his chicken and steak, was a little to well for him so stress that. But overall absolutely amazing. People keep coming here so they never leave. And house salads even though just salads nice and crisp. We've been to the location in Ontario and it in no way compares.

I've been here, yes it's overpriced. Yes it's located where it's located. I've never complained ABOUT A RESTAURANT'S LOCATION ( city ) like it's a bad thing? After reading a review on here I had to stand up for this restaurant. The food was decent and I ate it! The service was good and the the server that helped me was awesome. The ambiance is what you would expect FROM A GOD DAMN STEAK HOUSE! Bar, TV's with randoms sports and bench style seating. If you want to go fine dining and eat with only the well mannered high class people go eat on the 15 north in the fast lane. Save your oh pick me I'm too cool for a city review for yourself. Also, I like the location. Keeps the hollow craniums like you away.

Absolutely delicious! Love the steak and grub here. Outstanding service and ambiance as well. Highly recommend getting a meal here next time you're in Victorville, California!

Pretty good up to where my teenager found a fly on her salad, and I asked for a supervisor in charge of management at the time, anyhow he simply discounted the salad with zero compensation for the unhealthy eating zone and gross disguising fly caught laying there on my Daughters plate.. yes I am I satisfied and disgusted with both the management and the customer service. Why don't you try eating soMe added shit and just remove the price on it. I have not been to Outback in Victorville in a few years. The last time my ribeye steak was sub-par, service, bloomin onion, baked potato, great. This time, service, bloomin onion, baked potato, great, ribeye steak, not so much. Half of it was throw away. Way too much fat and gristle, not a quality piece of meat. To be fair the whole meal is only 39 bucks, I would pay more for a better piece of meat.

Haven't been to any Outback Restaurant in awhile. Things were solid for this visit. Dined with a friend and insisted on the Blooming Onion. This was as tasty as I remembered and is definitely a must have for an appetizer. Will feed many! The Smoked Old Fashioned was great. Cocktail was mixed correctly and the presentation was awesome. My main course was grilled chicken with baked potato and a side house salad. Good meal at a reasonable price. Our server, Rachel R. was friendly and very efficient. Great attitude and took good care of us. To staff and management, good job!

So, by mistake we decided to try this restaurant last night. I have to say that the best part of my meal was the iced tea. The food was disgusting! The ranch dressing was so oily I couldn't eat it. My husband got coconut shrimp and mashed potatoes. The shrimp had a funny taste and the potatoes were just gross. I can't believe this place is even open! A total waste of money and we will never be coming back!

The hamburger and fries all tasted like it was fried in the same oil as the Blooming Onion. I couldn't eat it. All soaked in grease. The chocolate brownie was the saving grace. Won't go back.

Not as advertised. Contacted them according to the ad for the 3 course meal you should be able to get more than just a burger or grilled chicken as a main course for their 3 course meal for 16.99. We had to ask for that menu obviously they didn't want to sell that. The menu that was brought to our table wasn't the same as on the website. The only thing they show they charge extra for is the shrimp. I contacted them and they said they would get my email to the correct person. Two weeks and still haven't heard from them. Also sent them the pictures I'm attaching. Also asked for A1 sauce, the bottle that they brought to our table was something I didn't want to touch.

We had the best dinner this evening. What made it so wonderful was the outstanding waitress Mia. Amazing customer service and attentiveness. If you ever go to this Outback ask to sit in her section. Thanks for making our experience wonderful. Mark and Margo
