Outer Barks - Waterfront Shops

4/27/25 - Such a cute store for pet lovers. Their homemade treats smelled great. I got pizza and peanut butter and my dog loves them. They also ship. The employee was very nice and helpful.

First time our fur children have been to the beach. They loved this store & becoming Facebook celebrities for the day! They are enjoying the homemade treats (we got blueberry apple). They also offer cute items for the humans.

Really cool pet store where they actually make their very own dog treats. Super friendly staff as well. Nice job guys.

Great place to buy freshly made treats for your dogs. Owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. We always stop in when we’re at the OBX.

I love that there’s a place to take your dogs shopping in the banks! Great for some basics if you forget something like a leash, or pad balm. We even got our dogs a puppy sundae to share! It is quite small though, so I probably wouldn’t be inclined to go during the busy season.

I can't recommend Outer Barks in Duck, North Carolina enough! We recently stopped by and picked up a smoked bone marrow bone for our dog, Honey, and she absolutely *adores* it. It's become her new favorite treat—she can't get enough of it! The bone is perfectly smoked, and it's a great way to keep her entertained for hours. I even captured a video of her happily chewing away, and it’s clear she’s in doggy heaven. We also grabbed some of their homemade beef liver treats, and let me tell you, Honey goes wild for them. They're the perfect size for training, and you can tell they're made with love and the highest-quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and it's evident they truly care about the pets they serve. If you're in the area, Outer Barks is a must-visit for any pet parent. They have everything you need to spoil your furry friend, and their treats are a hit with Honey!

I look forward to visiting outer barks each year when I come to the beach! Such a cute store and the owner is so friendly and insightful. I get the donut dog treats each year for my dog along with the freshly baked dog treats. The store always smells amazing with the aroma of the fresh dog treats that they are cooking that day.

Most fantastic shop for your furbaby!!! A must stop when visiting the Waterfront Shops in Duck! We, along with our puppy Cider, were welcomed by the amazing owners. The shop is completely dog friendly, a water bowl front and center for thirsty dogs. The aroma of handmade dog greats filled the store with smells of pumpkin and other treats of the best quality-baked right there in the store. The selection is endless and all made with the best ingredients for your dog! the best Our puppy was loved and hugged and we shopped human apparel and toys for dogs and cats. The atmosphere felt like you had walked into an old friends home! We left with a bag of goodies and the joy of knowing that anything in this store is made with heart and care for all furbabies! Highly recommended!!!
