Everything was great. The food was a guy with a crock pot which was off putting but in all honesty, the tacos from tim were really good. But had I not been 3 sheets to the wind I wouldn't have even tried them. If they had let him do his thing in the back an just been a "outta site outta mind" kinda thing it would be 5 stars.

Some friends and I went for Funk Night. It was great! The DJs (Frank R. & DJ Head) had us dancing all night. The beer prices were pretty reasonable and the selection was nice. The sound system is good. While it was powerful, it wasn't too loud, so the sonic experience was pleasant. The outdoor area would have been nicer to hang out in were it not so cold. I look forward to going back in the future when we it's warmer. The crowd was okay, but their odor was an issue. A ton of bearded hipsters and drunken hippie-ish ladies. No judgement, but we were only prepared for the music to be funky; not the people. Overall, I'd still go back for Funk Night again.

Bands that've played here have sounded great (Shoutout City Pleasure and Shatter) and had an amazing atmosphere of people all around. I don't drink alcohol so cant say much about that part but going with my friends, we had a blast!

Google
Hamtramck dive bar, cheap beers, local music, and a nice backyard like patio. This unique location will offer a variety of beverages, great local music, a no frills vibe. There was even a cool vintage shop setup too. Worthy of a visit especially if you like music, place gets hype

Google
went there for my friends show and the bartender’s attitude honestly ruined the night for a lot of my friends and i. he threw my ID back at me on the bar top after checking it. seemed super bothered when we ordered drinks. overall just acting like he didn’t want to be there.

Went to see a local band. Cool venue, like the outdoor space. Cover was a bit high.

The photos says it all. Perfection in a small local bar with great live music from a mix of bands. I want to play my next gig here and i hate playing live. Incredible.

Yelp
Nadine is the sweetest bartender I have ever met. Drinks are strong and the beer is CHEEEEP!! John and Kelly are nice people and excellent hosts. Make you feel welcome when you shouldn't be.

Yelp
The audio is a bit loud, but it's been a great place to stop but for music. If you stand in the back or just outside, the volume doesn't hurt so much

Yelp
A very interesting dive bar with great history. It is on the border of hamtramck and Detroit, definitely off the beaten path but worth it. Live music, great decor lots for the eyes to take in and the patio in the back that if you feel the need or if you've had enough alcohol you could get married. Yes, I said married. There is a chapel in the back just passed the smoking section LOL

Yelp
Classic neighborhood dive bar. I think it's called Outer Limits cause it's on the outer limits of Hamtramck? The last time I was there was for New Years and they had the Twilight Zone marathon on behind the bar. The real entertainment, though, was on stage where The Stools then Easy Action rocked out, wrapping things up precisely in time to count down from 10 to ring in 2023. Shows here seem to always conclude by midnight. Other venues run later by OLL has neighbors very close by in the dense town of Hamtramck so I assume it's a noise thing. The set up really isn't the best for bands here with the mens room directly to the left of the stage, the front door opening smack dab into the middle of the mob gathered for the music and a couple of awkwardly placed poles. At least the poles have shelves for drinks, I guess. Outer Limits seems to do the best they can with the built in ergonomics or lack thereof and I'm sure it would be prohibitively expensive to remodel the joint. The decor is great; all manner of retro delights mainly focused on the Super 70s, some of which reinvigorated memories that had been long lost to the shifting sands of time. I don't drink, so I'm pretty useless for giving you the lowdown on libations, and I don't hang out at bars unless it's to see bands or scarf down a meal but I might actually pop in here sometime during daylight to get a better look at the vintage extravaganza on the walls in something other than the dimmest light and without a crowd around. The backyard is spacious for Hamtramck. It's no Old Miami but it'll do. It's a welcome respite from a claustrophobic concert crowd. Even though it can get packed out there, too, there's still some fresh air between the gusts of cigarette smoke. There's a little wedding chapel back there, too! Don't know the story or ever seen it in use but it is a curiosity adding to the ambiance, along with the year round strings of lights. Parking is sparse. You probably have to hit the side streets to the north and hoof it back. And hopefully they finish the construction on Caniff soon cause that's getting to be a real drag.

Yelp
My new favorite spot for a weekend night! Love the big yard/patio and always a fun band playing. Decent selection of adult beverages at reasonable prices, chill ambience and friendly attentive staff. Can't ask for much more!

Yelp
Great eclectic ambiance in the heart of Hamtramck! Stopped in during a group tour. Loved the "unplugged" live music feel. So much memorabilia and nostalgia on the walls of this place. It is a low key, chill spot. Would go again! Check it out in a Friday night.

Yelp
This place is NOT closed and it's SO awesome and run by magnificent people and you should ABSOLUTELY stop in here and check it out. Great drinks, awesome pasties, fantastic music, eclectic atmosphere. Do yourself a favor and go.

Yelp
Once I had a pasty here that blew my mind. But there is so much more to love about this bar - the bartenders, music, unique/delicious drinks, super comf patio... and if you're into bathroom selfies, the lighting in the ladies room is amazing!

Yelp
I love this place. It's my favorite bar and it's really cozy. The bartenders are super nice. They always have fun events and they make really good hot toddys!

Yelp
Love the decor, the vibes and the friendly staff. I appreciate the paper straws (eco friendly)! My favorite neighborhood hangout spot, hands down.

Yelp
OUT OF TOWNERS BEWARE (or anyone who dares come in without an Michigan ID): bartender will look at your ID, decide it's fake because "you don't really have an accent," leave you there for 10 minutes while serving other people before passive aggressively telling you that you can stand there all night but he won't be serving you, even after being shown alternate identification (would have been happy to show him a credit card if he were willing to listen). You know, like an a**. Spend your money and time somewhere else. The other staff seemed cool, but it's not worth the risk of ruining a good night.
