fit me in for an oil change the same day I called to schedule, really professional, almost upscale atmosphere, and reasonable pricing for my oil/oil filter change. It took less than an hour from arriving there, and while I waited the service technician Mike C. answered a few questions I had for him about upcoming preventative maintenance I was interested in, he reassured me I wasn’t being a bother at all by asking these, and answered as helpful/honest as I felt he could’ve. Recommending this place to my family in the area for whatever fluid changing, parts fixing, and inspections/analysis' in the future.

Highly recommend this place! Took my car in for an alignment with custom specs I needed done and Mike did an amazing job! Communication was amazing, called me a few times to make sure I was getting exactly what I needed. Car had tons of aftermarket suspension parts, which is very hard to find anyone local willing to even touch the car let alone match custom specs I provided! Can’t recommend this place enough!

Our Durango started having problems with the coolant temp getting high. Basically did the entire scheduling through email, website, and text message, could not have been easier. I was hoping it was something small, but I kinda of had a feeling going in it was going to be something big, I already knew we had to address an issue with the catalytic converter, but if it was minor I thought we might be able to squeeze another year out of it. We opted not to get the repairs done, not because of the quote, the quote was very fair, I had to have similar work done on another vehicle but had way less miles, but this Durango is a 2015 and has 205,000 miles on it. Their diagnostic was awesome and very detailed. their shop is clean, they were very customer service oriented. Even though we didn't end up getting the repairs done, they treated me like a long time customer and with nothing but professionalism and understanding . I will be back for sure, I think other repair shops (independent and chain alike) could benefit from how well Outlier communicates and delivers customer service.

I brought my BMW E39 M5 to Auto-Motive for the dreaded timing chain guide service. Mike and the guys made quick work of it and kept me in the loop through the whole process. They also took the extra time to thoroughly clean everything before reassembly. Pricing was more than fair, and I would highly recommend them for any automotive repair. My M5 feels good as new!

I’ve been looking for an independent auto repair company that does superior work, cares about their customers, and offers fair pricing. Outlier is that company. Both John and Mike are unfailingly professional: they understand what is needed, outline all work details in their estimates, and deliver exceptional, state of the art auto repair services. I would never return to this business. Carmen was quite rude not only do I feel this way but I saw him being extremely rude to other customers while I was there. Will not refer anyone and will tell my friends this is not a trustworthy business.

Mike, Rob, and the whole staff were fantastic, they got my daily driver back on the road in no time. Oil change, AC recharge, cooling fan replacement (fixed and overheating issue), as well as locating & fixing an EVAP fault that triggered a CEL. They kept me updated throughout the process and made me feel confident that my vehicle will be repaired properly and be ready for the road once again. Fair pricing, and they even substituted in an OEM fan for the same price as the aftermarket when the aftermarket turned out to not be available from the supplier. Thank you.

Just picked up my car from Outlier Auto at 503 S Weber. We had brought it in for a mystery noise from the frame. They found it to be a loose heat shield. The shield that was loose was found to be unrepairable. They determined that the vehicle would be ok without it. I appreciate the honesty, instead of charging me for a new heat shield and labor, it was a very fair price for labor to remove it. The crew there is very courteous and personable. I highly recommend trying them out.

As always, great service and fair pricing from the guys at Outlier Auto. I couldn't pass emissions and had multiple codes coming up on my reader, Mike got me an appointment the next day, thoroughly looked over everything and gave me a very reasonable quote. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else besides here, I have experience working on cars and I know I can trust these guys to do the job right. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the Bolingbrook or surrounding areas!

I have worked with outlier since they were in Downers Grove. They have grown and got better at everything. They are extremely skilled and have the best and most modern equipment for diagnostics and repair. I have a VE that is notoriously temperamental when I change the battery or service the brakes or Tranmission. Outlier Garage was able to pin down the problem and do the necessary software calibration to install the battery, service the tens mission and perform the 50k miles service on the car. In addition to that they did an alignment and wheel balancing and they left the car better than when it came out of the dealer. I was amazed how much different feels to have a car aligned to "0" on every scrub, toe and caster number. It floats on the pavement and turns as it was on rails. They use synthetic oil on the boil change and if you want to go over board, hey offer amsoil premium oil. They are also interstate battery dealers so they have the battery you need and the software to put it in your car. If you need someone who knows VW this is the place(they also get a lot of BMW and American brands).

After dealing with a couple weeks of temps near 100, I really needed to get my car in somewhere that wasn't charging an arm and a leg for a refrigerant recharge. I had bought a can to do it, but then watched my man Scotty Kilmer on YouTube about how you can screw up your system using those and I've got an older ride. Mike didn't have an appointment, but said if I could leave it a few hours, he'd have someone on it. Rob came through and hooked me up, later explaining clearly. Only needed a pound, but explained Mitsu's warning system that shuts off the freon. And he's got a killer tatt on his forearm! Prolly easy money when you have the tools, but these guys came through. Went in for a problem with my truck. It wouldn't turn on. They quickly diagnosed the problem and got me in and out for a very reasonable price. The shop is very clean and organized and the waiting room has all the amenities that one would need. A comfy leather couch, a coffee maker and even an Xbox. Robert and Mike are both extremely knowledgeable and are a lot of fun to talk to. Something else that I really appreciated was that they spent the time to really make sure I knew what was wrong with my truck and why they were doing what they're doing. Something most shop owners don't care to do. I'm super happy with my experience and will 100 percent be bringing my potato of a vehicle back to them once it inevitably breaks again.

This is easily the best auto repair shop that I've taken my car to. The techs are very knowledgeable and skilled. They have top of the line diagnostic software and really know how to troubleshoot issues. Prices are very competitive and the shop is clean and well decorated. I would not hesitate to leave my car here which is saying a lot coming from a car enthusiast. These guys work on anything from domestic to high-end sport cars.

Mike and his guys were an absolute pleasure to work with. You usually don't come across Car places that aren't trying to rip you off and are honest with you so this place is a true GEM! It's hidden and low key since they just opened this year but they do great work and are honest and fair with pricing and their work. Very happy with their work and they explained everything to me. What a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I were in a pickle - it was after work when most shops are closed and our car was rattling like crazy. We are so grateful to have found Auto-Motive! What a gem of a place, amazing start to finish. They were so accommodating, kind, welcoming, and communicative. They took excellent care of us and we were blown away at the smoothness of the process and the amazing price. They really went the extra mile and we are making Auto-Motive our go-to from now on!

This place is great! I called up in the morning because I needed an oil change. Mike just told me to bring it by and he'll take care of it! I get there the shop is extremely clean. The waiting room had everything you can ask for. Tv coffee couch Xbox one. They did the job quick I was in an out in 30 minutes. I would definitely be back for all future service! I highly recommend this place moving forward!
