This is a new favorite place to eat! We had the pork belly, spicy pimento cheese starter, wings, spicy chicken sandwich and we got drinks. Summer sangria and Appalachian Vacation. Yall the atmosphere was so fun. We sat outside and loved it. The sun had gone down just enough to let it be comfortable outside. They had trivia night with was fun. Madison was our server and yall she was super fantastic! Its affordable and lovely! Check it out!

On Chattanooga Burger Week we decided to participate by going to Outpost Bar & Restaurant for one of their specialty burgers that are only $8 during this annual event. We both had a Whistle Stop Burger which has pimento cheese, bacon, outpost sauce, and lettuce & tomato, that all together had a beautiful blended flavor. We ordered the Fried Okra strips with ranch dipping sauce (that Brett our waiter highly recommended to try)to accent the burgers and man was he right about the Okra being delicious even without the dip! We will most definitely plan on a return visit to experience all the other menu items that I'm positively sure will satisfy our taste buds!

We are traveling with a Golden Reteiver so we have to find Dog Friendly restaurants everywhere we travel and usally not the best food. The patio area is spacious, shaded during dinner, and has fake grass for the pup. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, all the the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. We got the potato chip nachos, 9/10 delicious toppings and crunchy chips with a nice seasoning. For our meal we got the Outpost Burger, 9/10 messy to eat but delicious and nice crisp fries, the Catfish tacos, 9/10 the catfish was crispy and tender and full of fillings, and the braised beef over mashed potatoes, 8/10 tender peice of beef and the potatoes had lumps (which I prefer). Overall, good experience and would recommend especially for a family traveling with a Pup. 🐾

We really enjoyed this place. We like that they stay open till eleven on Friday and Saturdays. The food was good, and it tastes like homemade food, not frozen. I really think the only thing bad i can say so far is that the tables are too tiny and the food came out way too fast because we had gotten an appetizer.

My boyfriend and I just came into town for a little vacation. Based on the Google reviews, we decided to give it a try. After our 6 hr drive, this place definitely hit the spot. We went towards their closing time so the atmosphere was very chill, which we needed, especially after traveling with three fur babies (two dogs and a cat — who were at our nice Airbnb). Highly recommend coming on Taco Tuesdays for their drink specials and of course, the tacos! My boyfriend did say he was more of a fan of the shredded beef taco (completely forgot the name, but I second this recommendation as well) over the Catfish version. For me, the star of my dinner was definitely the Buffalo Chicken Dip, I totally wish it came in a bigger portion, I was very sad when it came to an end. Also! the lovely SJ was the sweetest server we ever encounter at any restaurant. She also gave us recommendations of places to check out while we were around the area, which was very amazing to have.

What a great experience I had at the Outpost. Service was excellent, cocktails were exceptional, and the food was fantastic. I had the trout over mashed potatoes and a side of Brussels sprouts. The trout had a lemon and caper sauce that truly complimented the dish. I thought it was more of a bar and grill when we entered and it turned out to be a hidden gem. The atmosphere is open and they also have a nice outdoor patio. Our service was exceptional. Highly recommend this establishment for a good meal and a good time.

My daughter and I visited here after our Ruby Falls tour and she says the food is "1,000/1,000." I was pleased to see that there was a kid's menu available. She ordered Mac and Cheese and a side of apple slices. The mac was better than okay, but not scratch made. We also ordered buffalo wings and she devoured them, leaving only the bone. I ordered the Guacamole Burger and enjoyed that very much. Nice heat from the pickled jalapeños. I also ordered a side of fried okra which was delicious. My extra side of sautéed kale had a bit too much apple cider vinegar for my taste, and the waitress was more than gracious and adjusted the bill, which I was grateful for. Lastly, I'm a bit shy when it comes to trying new cheeses and I thought I may have the Pesto Pasta which has goat cheese. I asked if I could try the goat cheese by itself and the chef made a beautiful tasting plate with jam and toast. I was so grateful and joyful for this beautiful expression. This pub was a delight to visit during our trip and I would highly recommend it to you.

Google
Great little place, drinks are tasty, food is delish. Menu is relatively small, but very well executed, amd there's lots of tasty alternatives.

Yelp
The atmosphere was very homey and relaxing, we felt like we fit right in. Our waitress was very kind and attentive! The Bleu Ridge Burger is in my top 5 of all time. Amazing taste, texture, and sad it went as quickly as I ate it. Who would've thought? Definitely coming back to try out more stuff!

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp we found this great little spot! My partner and I shared a Cuban sandwich and fries outside in the outdoor dining area. Fantastic sandwich and yummy fries! The service was excellent, quick and very friendly. The exterior and interior are adorable! Great place for all!!

Yelp
Came on a Monday for dinner and it's 2/1 wine mondays. Hello had me at wine. All the food was delicious and came out hot. Servers were friendly. My one recommendation would be don't serve children's Mac and cheese in a cast iron that's a million degrees.

Yelp
Friendly service and a fun atmosphere. New menu with more vegetarian options. Outside seating with fireplace and some nights have live music. Plenty of street parking.

Yelp
My trivia team plays here every Thursday and we come for dinner before the game starts. The place is cute, but small inside. They have 4-5 low tables and 5 or 6 high tables (many for 2 people), plus outdoor seating and bar areas. Making reservations is a good idea because it's so small and usually busy. The problem with sitting inside at the low tables is you're always close to one of the doors, which people can't seem to close, so you're either cold or hot all the time from the inevitable wash of air coming through the doors. The food is good, if a bit on the pricey side. Their fries are extra crispy, which is fantastic. The service is either great, or not. Sometimes you'll have a very attentive server, and sometimes you can't get anyone's attention. It's kind of hit or miss. My friend is a beer drinker and enjoys the beer selection. It's a nice place, but I don't think I'd come here very often if it wasn't for trivia night.

Yelp
Outpost bar and restaurant located on Main Street in Chattanooga is one of the best outdoor bars and restaurants that I've been to in a little bit. I visited here in October while some family was in town to see me here at college. And it was a great outdoor bar experience. It was a little cold that night, but that is just the fall weather my friends! The burger I had was absolutely amazing. I forgot the name of it, but it had pimento cheese on it. Was absolutely stellar! And of course, the long drink I had. Servers are very nice here this is overall a nice place to drink and hangout will be back for sure!

Yelp
Do you love being charged for things that you don't receive and then being blamed for it? Here's the place for you! I've ordered from this place 4 times, first time was great. Second time, they didn't give me the tea I ordered. Third time no fries. Last ever time, no pie. When I asked for a refund, I was told that I shouldn't order through the Uber Eats platform, "it's not smart" and that they couldn't do anything. When I pushed back, it was a repeat of "this is an Uber issue" ...no, no this could have been resolved with just giving me $8 but I would point out the Laissez-faire attitude about online orders. They clearly do not concern themselves with quality

Yelp
I ordered food to be delivered by Uber eats. Ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes. Potatoes were a little dry, but the chicken fried steak was amazing! Will order again or visit in person.

Yelp
Food is affordable and very good. Love the space. Nice outdoor and indoor seating. Brunch is my favorite.

Yelp
Creative menu of food and drinks, patio is a fun atmosphere in South Side. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the catfish tacos and potato chip nachos are a great way to welcome anyone to Chattanooga .

Yelp
I was incredibly disappointed, particularly knowing these are the owners of Basecamp. Service was slow, very few customers with plenty of staff, just too busy socializing with each other. The food wasn't even average. It's new, and maybe that's the issue, but not sure they'll ever get a chance with me to change my opinion, there are just too many good options already available here in town.

Ross B.

Yelp
The food is great, and the drinks are good, but the service is pretty terrible. I've been going regularly and it's a consistent issue that bartenders and servers will spend the majority of their time talking to their coworkers instead of providing service. It's like pulling teeth to try to get their attention, every single time. This level of consistent poor service must be an issue at a management level. To sum up, decent food if you don't mind a needlessly long wait.

Kaylee F.

Yelp
The food has never disappointed for us. We have tried the dry rub wings and the chicken quesadillas and both have been delicious! They have good specials throughout the week as well. Service is average but drinks/foods are definitely worth going and trying out!

Yelp
Great new spot in the Southside. Friendly staff cute space and excellent chicken and mushroom linguine. Everything on the menu looked good.

Yelp
Appalachian inspired foods and a full cocktail bar. There are 15 different taps and a happy hour during the week between 12-6!

Yelp
Been going to Outpost since it opened (probably been 10 times) and I must say since starting it has only gotten worse. Baked goat cheese dip is a 10/10, however every time I leave I think "I could have made this in my kitchen." Heard they had brunch so I went to try it. I ordered the burrito and I truly wish I had a picture. It was smaller than a store bought frozen Amy's burrito. Basically just egg and onion with some bacon bits. If you're going to charge 14$ for a burrito it better be a knock out. We were the only people in the restaurant on a Sunday morning and our food was lukewarm. Not sure how that happens. The Bloody Mary was made with zing zang. 10$ for a Bloody Mary with no toppings just tomato juice and vodka. I'm not Bloody Mary aficionado but it was by far the worst bloody I have ever had. The bartender didn't talk to us other than to take our order which is odd. He just sat on his phone looking away from us by the little register while we sat at the bar and choked down our miserable 60$ meal. Save your money go walk to state of confusion or if you want brunch Kenny's. If you want a beer and goat cheese dip and maybe some wings.... Go. that's about all you'll have here that will feel worth the price point.

Rachel M.

Yelp
The baked goat cheese appetizer was amazing. The preserves were a nice touch. I have the trout that had a lemon caper sauce on top paired with mashed potatoes. The trout was cooked perfectly. We enjoyed the fried okra and loved that it was the whole okra not sliced. Ended the meal with the blackberry cobbler and ice cream! 10/10 would recommend!
