San Diego’s Next Food Hall Heading to Poway | Eater San Diego

"I learned that a new $35 million mixed-use development called Outpost broke ground in Poway today; the three-building complex, developed by Capexco Inc., sits on a 1.58-acre infill at 13247 Poway Road and will span 57,840 square feet of residential and 40,000 square feet of commercial space. Its centerpiece is a two-story, 20,000-square-foot food hall stocked with more than 15 food vendors and featuring a 6,500-square-foot upper-floor patio, joined by 53 residential units, a 20,000-square-foot fitness center, and pedestrian plazas with seating areas connecting the buildings as part of an effort to create a new town center. The food hall will include several concepts from 3 Local Brothers Group, co-founded by Poway native Grant Tondro, whose holdings include several Urge Gastropubs, The Barrel Room in Rancho Bernardo, Brothers Provisions, Mason Ale Works, and Mason Coffee Works." - Candice Woo

Simply horrendous planning and execution. I could have done better and I'm just some guy. Construction company went bankrupt just as things were going along nicely. Now its a big hole in the ground and what little work done has rotted and decayed and needs to be completely torn out and redone when a COMPETENT company is hired.

Unless this is supposed to be a swimming pool, it’s just useless a hole in the ground. Good metaphor for Poway leadership though!
