"The owners of SoMa restaurants Deli Board and Fondue Cowboy, both facing the looming prospect of a move forced by development of their land parcel, can breathe a sigh of relief. In a serious surprise action, the SF Board of Supervisors unanimously rejected a planned 63-unit housing development — despite prior approval from the Planning Commission." - Caleb Pershan

Lovely cosy place with beautiful interior and lighting and a really nice bar. The fondue was delicious and our server was the nicest person. We got the traditional cheese which paired awesomely with the Bordeaux red wine. The beet salad was pretty good as well. We also got the dark chocolate for dessert and it was fantastic.

The restaurant itself is cute and small. The neighborhood didn't feel very safe. Nevertheless, the service was excellent. We were seated within 5 minutes and our waiter was very friendly. We were just 2 people, their savory and sweet fondues are perfect for 2 people. We ordered one savory-Lonestar- Gouda with caramelized onion one dessert -While chocolate and a ginger beer My favorite was the whites chocolate, the fruits and white chocolate taste glorious. I wasn't a big fan of the bread, it was very tough.

My friend came here before and recommended that we go here. We got here around 7 pm and they informed us that all the tables were reserved, but the bar was open. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks first. We asked for some recommendations and ended up getting the lonestar. When it first came out, it looked a bit small, but cheese is a super heavy food. The cheese automatically come with bread, potatoes, broccoli, apples, grapes, olives, and pickles. It didn't seem like much at first, so we ended up ordering the meatballs after. It was a little hard to get our servers attention, but the meatballs came out with enough cheese left for it. We also wanted to get some more bread and potatoes, but the server didn't really come. The meatballs tasted really good, and went really well with the cheese. The food was amazing, but it was pretty difficult trying to get someone to help us after. I would definitely come back to try their other cheeses. One order was perfect to split between two of us.

Great experience with different types of fondue blends. Meatballs are really tasty. Drinks are good! Portions aren’t too large for the price, but we still enjoyed it and were plenty satiated.

Great place to eat fondue! Even if it's not like in Switzerland (where we eat 1lbs for 2 of fondue 😁 vs here 4-6oz for 2), the classic fondue is pretty good! Served with several accompaniment, such as bread, potatoes, broccolis, apple, grape, cornichons, olives. Still it felt enough. We will come back and taste the others 😀 and enjoy the happy hour 😉

They could try to have more fun with the dipping ingredients to match each cheese profile. But, you just can't go wrong with fondue! Good service and great chill ambient for having a nice chat, which can be hard to find in busy places.

This is a comment on our experience with their coffee (Cowboy Coffee) service. TL;DR: don't GO. It's a joke. we were going to Sightglass, but wanted to save time and stopped by this place. And I'm still regretting this decision.. we ended up spending 20 minutes waiting for poor-quality coffee, and stale pastries. And it's not like there were 20 people ahead of us, their inefficiency was just really hard to watch. And I'd feel fine if the food and drinks were good - they were aweful.. the danish I got was definitely at least a day old, and the espresso drink was amateurly made. Even though they said "i'm sorry", the person immediately turned away, trying to avoid any further contact with us. What an horrible experience
