OUTRIGGER Maldives Maafushivaru

This hotel is a true paradise. Excellent location, near Male, excellent service, excellent food. We tried a couple of dives too, which were excellent and also went snorkeling to local reef, which was truly spectacular. The people who work there at the hotel are just A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I cannot simply recommend this place enough. Every single detail has been taken of in this hotel.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100/10 – Exceptional Stay! We stayed 5 days at the Outrigger Resort and we were more than delighted! The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our host Jinah was absolutely perfect—professional, attentive, and always available. We were very, very, very satisfied with her service. The buffet was amazing, with plenty of variety and excellent quality. The servers were outstanding, especially Joy and Shashanka, who were wonderful with our little daughter. A big thank you as well to Adam, the housekeeping team leader, and his entire team. Our room was cleaned twice a day and was always spotless. The staff, the views, the hotel shops, the atmosphere… everything was simply fantastic. I 100% recommend this resort and I give it a score of 100 out of 10!

We had a perfect vacation. We liked absolutely everything! The food was the most delicious we have ever had! Great variety and amazing quality every single day. The territory is very cool and stunning. The island is beautiful, well-maintained, and the beaches are perfect. The staff is super! Everyone is so friendly, smiling, and always ready to help. We had an absolutely amazing stay at Outrigger Maldives! The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, crystal-clear waters, and top-notch facilities that made our vacation truly unforgettable. What made our experience even more special was Saeed, the wonderful person who cleaned our room. He went above and beyond in every way. Not only was our room spotless every day, but he also prepared a beautiful surprise for my friend’s birthday, which completely made their day unforgettable. His thoughtfulness, kindness, and genuine care really stood out. Saeed is not just incredibly professional, he’s also friendly, warm, and full of positive energy. It felt like he truly cared about making our stay perfect, and his smile and attention to detail made us feel so welcome. Thanks to Saeed and the amazing team at Outrigger Maldives, our trip was full of joy and special moments. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a perfect Maldives getaway.

Our stay at Outrigger Maldives was absolute paradise from start to finish – with a serious warning: bring clothes one size up for the journey home, because the food is exceptional and there is a lot of it! Every meal was a joy, and we genuinely looked forward to every bite.||From the moment we arrived in the Maldives, the hotel staff took complete care of us. They handled our left luggage, checked us in, and on our return journey even escorted us right through to security. That level of seamless service set the tone for the entire stay – relaxed, polished, and completely stress-free.||A huge thank you to our butler, Jinah, who was absolutely 10/10. He took care of everything with calm efficiency all our restaurant bookings, our sunset cruise, and any requests we had. Everything was organised perfectly and with a genuine smile.||We especially loved Koto – both for a delicious à la carte dinner and for the Teppanyaki experience, which was fun, interactive, and full of flavour. The buffet at both breakfast and dinner was gargantuan, varied, and consistently high quality! You are truly spoiled for choice.||We also enjoyed some snorkelling just off the beach and the sunset cruise, which was a magical way to experience the beauty of the Maldives.||Our overwater villa (Room 220) was everything we dreamed of spacious, private, and beautifully designed, complete with a hot tub and uninterrupted views over the turquoise water. It really doesn’t get better than that.||There is a lovely gentleman working by the pool named Shinaz . This man is so diligent and hardworking. He was constantly on the move, making sure everyone had what they needed and always took our drink orders with a smile. Towards the end of our stay, he already knew what we wanted and would simply bring them over – just brilliant.||All the staff here work incredibly hard, and what really stood out is how they all know your name and genuinely want you to have a lovely time. A special mention to Joy, who was always smiling and full of warmth – she recommended several drinks for us to try and made every interaction such a pleasure.||We also have to mention the wonderful gentleman at Koffee and Chill, Aminal – be careful, this man will fatten you up if you’re not careful! He kept our table stocked with an endless supply of desserts and ice creams – my husband was very happy indeed!||The spa is small but perfectly formed – we had a lovely deep tissue massage. I also really enjoyed the sound healing class, which was a wonderful opportunity to just let go and relax.||We would wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the Maldives – it truly exceeded all expectations.||Thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special.

A wonderful place and superb staff. Rarely do you find a resort that is so well run and beautifully maintained. We never once got to see the vast amount of moving parts that enables this resort to deliver the dream holiday that we desired and was delivered on every level. We used the spa and diving facilities as well as the a la carte restaurants. All were 10/10. We have left with extraordinary memories. Would rate this resort higher if we could.

Our stay at Outrigger Maldives was incredible. The place is superb, the food is extremely delicious, the views are breathtaking, and the people who work there are so kind and sweet. They all took care of our comfort constantly. I would especially like to express my gratitude to Saeed. He is the man who cleaned our room twice a day and made sure everything was in order. He is an extremely kind person. He is always smiling and friendly. He organized an incredible surprise for my friend's birthday. I simply don't have the words to describe what an incredible person he is. Another wonderful person is Shinaz. He is the man who served us every day on the beach. He always took care of us. He is a very pleasant, responsive, and positive person. He always asks if we need anything and always responds. He always has a smile on his face. A huge thank you to them and the whole team. Thank you to Zi and Dimitri for constantly guiding us and helping us with all the necessary information around the clock!

Where do I begin? I can see why this is a five star resort. First arriving at the resort Naaif was AMAZING...he had everything planned for us,from dinners, massages & excursions that we wanted to do and it was really easy to get in contact with him using WhatsApp. Shinz, Amit, Aminul, and panda( thats what everyone called him lol) customer service was on another level.They were really respectful & you didn't have to wait too long to get anything from coffee, food or drinks. Food was amazing too the chefs are really talented and very clean and had any food you could think of and if they didn't they would make it for you . The room's we're really clean and the beds were super soft and comfortable, and the rooms had a lot of privacy to where you could play music and If you wanted to take a shower on your deck without any one seeing you out .The resort isn't a party resort like other ones. It's really grown up and chill vibes but there is a Dj at night time if you wanted to go have a cocktail and dance or play pool. I wasn't able to mention everybody on the staff there but everyone from the groundskeeper to the housekeeping to the chef's you're amazing, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone that asks. We plan on going back there in two years. Keep up the amazing hospitality outrigger.
