Omg the service was Amazing, the bar tender nd people where very friendly. This was our 1st time ever, we had a blast. Our new friend The Alley Guy was Hilarious, we will be planning another get away nd go see our new friends

This is a dive bar, not a family dinner place. Beer is $1-$2 less than most places. They get Sonnys pizza and turkey pesto sandwiches from Sonnys. Toasted in their oven that sandwich is hard to beat anywhere. Come early. They sell out. Kettle chips in the bag are good too.

Great local bar for reasonably priced cocktails, play some games with friends, listen to some tunes, or just to watch a live sporting event. I've also seen some pretty cool bands here which is right up my alley! Friendly and casual atmosphere, and my go to place on any day, or any night.

This place and Rachael (I believe is the really cool bartenders name?) Needs a heck of alot more recognition. I don't normally write reviews good or bad but I was truly wowed by this place. I was just looking for a simple and relaxed environment to have some drinks with my wife and had a terrible experience over at blooms Irish pub and walked on over to this place- outriggers and the bartender - Rachael immediately took care of my wife and I. She knew exactly what drinks to put together for us and is truly just an awsome bartender and person overall.

Allie is a gem! We love this bar as a stop-in go-to for drinks!

This place is amazing. You could be anything you want when you're there. You could be an outlaw on the run sometimes I'd like to pretend I'm a pirate. The locals are always fun and it's a chill spot to hang out. Sometimes you gotta go everybody knows your name And they're always glad you came. And they got pizza from Sonny's. It's super good.

DO NOT COME HERE!!!! Horrible service. I will be contacting the DPH on this place it's gross and you need to be inspected. The service was awful, your manger is like a middle school kid arguing with customers for asking for a bag? Or foil? Calling them names over the phone and being absolutely disrespectful. You need a new bartender she seems as if she's drinking on the job ignoring other guest who need service. This place all and all is HORRIBLE! The owner needs to do something or I will.

Service was horrible. Asked the bartender for a bag and she told me "bitch you must not be from san clemente". I said you don't have a to go bag ? she said no you're just being a fucking bitch. food was horrible. she had black hair and was very rude. never will return.

Best bar I've been to. That's a bold statement Jamie is an awesome bartender. Tommy cleans the place and is super nice guy, place is literally squeaky clean. Serve bomb pizza and theirs prices are awesome!! Straight up rad bar where you can feel comfortable coming in alone. Good music, rad things on the tv. No better bar that I've been to that still existing.

OMG, this is the one of the best cars in SC. They have pool table, outside patio, long bar and super friendly bar staff. Jamee was mine, and make killer margaritas . Have Sonny's pizza too which is warmed from frozen.. not great as from frozen but fills the bellyz

I've come here so many times in the past and i'm visiting from Portland. The bar tender Rachael has welcomed me and made me feel so at home here. She is such an awesome bar tender! I recommend coming the days she's working because you won't regret it!

Home away from home. I just moved to south west. I was looking for a great no nonsense place to have a beer and relax. In 15 years of being in town have never been in this place. Drove by a million times. Now i am down in the south west. This place is awesome. Old timers at end-of bar awesome. Great wifi. Bartenders kick butt. And shuffleboard is old warped and has very little sand. Perfect for a dive bar so it totally rocks. I will be back. Keeping it real at the rigger.

After living in San Clemente for 18 years the Outrigger has become my go-to drinking hole. The bartender Rachael E has always been extremely efficient with my drink orders and Jukebox volume demands! Saturday afternoons are always enjoyable with Rachael E at the Outrigger. Plus she's smoking hot!

Well if it wasn't for Rachel I wouldn't have had such an amazing experience. Pizza was great. Bartender was generous; and efficient. Thank you!!

Heading home from a trip we decided to pull into this cute little bar. Pool table, music, Big Buck and TVs you couldn't go wrong. Brooke the bartender was by herself but man did she deliver! Great conversations and sing alongs, pizza with history and constant service I've rarely had such a good time just stopping by a dive bar. Left with a T-shirt and great memories. We definitely will go back, that place was awesome!

My husband and I camp in San Onofre annually and this is one of our favorite local spots! The bartender, (Lauren? Blonde), is amazing. The drinks are fantastic, the atmosphere is fun, and the locals are friendly. We look forward to coming here every year.

Dom (the owner) is the man! Professional and taking all the precautions during covid. Brooke, our bartender was polite and timely in serving us. Great spot for a night out! Thank you outrigger! Thank you dom and Brooke for providing such a great night!

HORRIBLE. This is totally the type of bar that I would choose to go to regularly. There's pool tables and it has a nice dive bar feel. I've been here 5 times. Hands down the worst service my wife and I have received EVER, anywhere. And this 5 times was over a 2 year span. I would never recommend this place to someone I cared about. The staff act as though you are inconveniencing them by being there. There are plenty of bars in San Clemente, I know I live here. Go somewhere else. You're welcome.

Cool dive-y joint as you head to the south side of town. Definitely a solid locals hang out and you can find an eclectic mix of people on Friday and Saturday nights. It's very chill on some week nights and a good place to grab a drink and hang out. Tip your bartenders!

This was by far one of the worst experiences I have had... I walk in and the employees where all very unhappy that I was giving my business to them. The bouncer had carded me multiple times in the same night and all the employees where not friendly at all. I went outside to get some air and was immediately verbally attack by bouncer and a worker saying that if I don't go back inside and order another drink I must leave... would not recommend this place.

Best place to grab a cold one in San Clemente, great staff, cool atmosphere, and can't beat the prices, cute girls are always there and they just started serving sandwiches from my favorite restaurant in San Clemente. This place is legit!

This place was a charming dive bar but recently got a huge overhaul to the interior and patio area! Super friendly staff and great parking for this side of town. Very spacious if you're brining a good size crew, 2 pool tables and a couple other table tops to keep you busy while catching a buzz

If you look up "dive bar" in any kind of reference material, it should say "see The Outrigger". Great prices, beer selection, fun, staff and patrons. You'll never feel alone here.

Fun place. Nice ppl. Great place to meet ppl. Shuffle board, 2- pool tables n darts. Outside area. Cheap drinks. Daily specials. Owner is tom, awesome guy... Meet him 3 years ago n still remembered his name n bar. Very memorable place. Close to freeway.

AWESOME DIVE BAR! It's not even that divey (it's CLEAN(), but everyone there is incredibly nice, they have Sierra Nevada, two good looking pool tables and a nice outdoor area for the smokers! The bartender was so unbelievably cool and helpful (giving us tips since we just moved up here from San Diego)! My birthday is in a couple days and I'm seriously considering celebrating it here! Yay for a cool bar in San Clemente that's not Pizza Port and not ridiculously expensive!

Outrigger is by far the best bar in San Clemente. My boyfriend and I go there at least once a week. Lauren and Rachel are the most incredible bartenders and everyone there (especially the owner) treats our dog Zeppelin like royalty. Cant say enough about the staff. We come for the ice cold beer, pizza and Hot Spot but we stay because we feel like family.

I remember the very first time i came in here. The bartender "Jimbo" was very cool to me. And im REAL big on customer service. Hes jus one of these employees with a great attitude that made a lasting impression on me and although im far from wat u wld call a regular i do remember him and Stefanina doing their best to make a new comer comfy. Now this place has two pool tables, free shuffle board, lotto, a cool dice game that givs u a chance at a jackpot if u roll the rite #s & an outside patio for smoking or lounging. Its true that sometimes an idiot or two will show up but thats anywere. Ladies bathroom is decent behind the bar but the mens is not so great but come on we're men...MAN UP! Prices r very nice.

Went last night the chick working was so annoyed that we were there. She looked like she hated her job and wasn't friendly at all.

If you like a good dive bar this is the place, great bartenders, good bar food and friendly conversation always. I've been here at at bad tine in my life but It makes me feel back home in Chicago which I'm missing right now.

Hanna is fantastic and made our night. I miss living in San Clemente and my husband was made to feel very welcome. Bartenders take great care of all the patrons. Great little dive bar! Reasonable drink prices - this will be our place to go whenever we are there.

This is my favorite bar in town and there are a lot of bars in San Clemente. Jimbo is the best bartender and it's a pleasure to call him my friend. He always remembers everyone's name and runs this place like a 1 man champion. My friends and family have had the best times at this bar: Drink prices are great! This is not your typical south county yuppy bar.. This is a watering hole. If you like pool tables, darts, lotto scratchers, cigarette vending machines, and a bumping juke box this is the place for you!! I love the rigger!! I haven't been in a while I need to get it together and get back in soon.. - Locals only!

I live in the area, and have visited the Outrigger on 4 occasions. Unfortunately I haven't had a single good experience. The bar is small, dirty, and the bartenders can be rude at times. This bar is frequented mostly by alcoholics and Marines, which makes a less than pleasant enviroment.

Sucks that I actually have to give this one star if I could give none at all I would...wife and I went in totally ignored by bartender just want to those don'ts it seems to respect the locals only missed out on a decent tip PS the bathrooms are putrid

On February 17th I went to this nasty bar and could not believe how small it was, kind of dirty but thought I would give it a chance. Went there with my girl who happens to be black. After we were there about an hour about 6 Marines came in. They all started starring at us but I did my best to ignore it. One very short Marine started hitting on my girl and we both kind of laughed. After about 30 minutes or so he became angry and he huttled with the other Marines came back over by us and started shouting the N word. He did so 3 times at the top of his lungs, I turned and called him an A-Hole. He got angry and his girl stepped in to calm him down. I told the bartender to call the police before the racist group of Marines jumped me. She claimed she did not hear anything even though he screamed it from 6 feet away. Amazing huh! The older "blond" bartender proceeded off to the corner to do a shot and have another drink while she pointed and laughed at us. Not only are the patrons of this establishment racist, but so is the staff. I wish I had pictures of all these racist jerks so I could expose them for what they really are!

Had a great time! Not totally putrid bathrooms. Kind of usable. The bars a blast. Jimbo is great! Thanks for the shots.

Nice little dive bar. I come here about twice a month. It has a nice vibe.
