The 38 Best Restaurants in Tel Aviv | Eater

"A fun way to explore the vibrant evening scene in Tel Aviv is to hang out at one of the spots in the Levinski Market area like the lively Ouzeria. Nights are always bustling at this restaurant, which showcases Mediterranean dishes like calamari a la plancha, the must-try “Avigail’s cauliflower,” or shrimp sauteed with homemade sun-dried tomatoes. Snag a seat at the bar while you down some anise-flavored shots and take in the spirited music and the effervescent vibe. You can also check out at Ouzeria Next Door, the restaurant and bar next door with a similar buzz and fare to match. [$$]" - Keren Brown

Another visit the Ouzeria, and once again it’s perfect. The food is simply great. Each and every dish is filled with taste, executed to perfection. Service is great and feels like everyone is having fun. Such a great dining experience. Well done!

Wow. Great food. Really beautiful cooking. I liked the eggplant as a stater, the bread was on point. I feel that the spicy source plate I took should have been served as a part of the deal though. I would go there again! So should you. My wife said it was a pleasant evening (!)

Lots of potential in this place. Service was friendly and relaxed, tables outside on a sunny day where lovely. The cauliflower, aubergine carpaccio, veal sweetbread and chicken souvlaki were good. Portions are quite small for the price. The beetroot ravioli was quite bland and disappointing. Overall good but just expensive for the portion sizes.

One of the waitress , French speaking is unpleasant . She insulted me and made faces and signs because I didn’t let “enough” tip! Even though I didn’t even got any service from her. Unpleasant experience , there are much more welcoming places in the area

Cool Greek themed restaurant in the Levinsky market area. The area is liveliest on a Friday before Shabbat. The food was delicious, portions were a little small, but overall very fulfilling.

I came across Ouzeria from Bloomberg's list of best restaurants in Tel Aviv. We were not disappointed. The atmosphere is hip and laid back just like its surrounding neighborhood. The food is here eclectic and playful and drew a large influence from Spain. Most dishes are like tapas and meant to be shared, while some dishes had a Israeli spin to it. I took off one star because no single dish really blew us away but we found the entire experience to be very pleasant. The place is not cheap but if you can manage to get here when they open and avoid the typical long wait, Ouzeria is definitely worth a try!
