"Maria Karpathiotaki and her partner Nikos Kasotakis have taken over her parents' Greek restaurant in the Belgian Quarter and turned it into a trendy, vibrant fine dining spot. While she cordially welcomes guests front of house in the well-kept rustic-style bistro space, the chef is to be found at work in the kitchen, cooking up modern, creative dishes with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The menu includes a lovely selection of starters, plated in slightly smaller portions that are good for sharing and for trying out several – examples include "baby calamari, red pepper, pine nut pesto" and "half a corn-fed poulard breast, fermented celery, baby pak choi, ponzu, miso-samos-nectar espuma". Naturally, the menu also features ouzo. There is a small terrace laid out on the pavement." - Michelin Inspector

What a pleasant surprise. Great food and a great wine offer - you will most likely find something on the menu that you will enjoy. I’ve had the Duroc as main and it was cooked to perfection. The Demi glace paired with the onion mash were absolutely delicious. We will definitely come again.

Nowadays few restaurants make me feel money is well spend with inflated prices. But this one is truly rarely amazing!!! I was late for my reservation, but the staff were so perceptive and kind. They helped me quickly, speaking fluent English. They have English menu too. After the meal they were able to initiate and hold a friendly conversation, after seeing me dining alone.(Be fierce and judgment free if you are traveling alone!) All food is gorgeously presented and flavor is not lacking! The jewel on the crown is Beef Tagliata. I thought it had anything to do with pasta but OMG the meat’s texture is amazing. I don’t usually eat raw meat, so opted for beetroot tartar which was well balanced in flavors. I see that many food items on here are not shown on the menu I got, so I think they creatively change menu too. I love how they bring in different type of cuisines together. Casual fine dining is a great concept. I dislike being fancy for the sake of being fancy and losing the focus on the food. Gourmet food served in an attitude-free environment with kind service stood out! If you are into wine, they have a ton of options too. I hope they open on more days for lunch.

The service was great, the food portion was a bit small, we ordered 5 dishes for 2 persons. One minus is that even though we ordered drinks and asked for service water, they still charge for it, it was not bottled water, just tap water.

Food was tasty and I understand its Michelin rated and all, but the starter portions are so insignificant that you can barely get your taste buds going. Great place if you are a model that wants to stay below 110lbs The staff is friendly and atmosphere is laid back and nice. Would give it 3 stars but Im a softie.

Ouzeria has a good menu of straightforward Greek tapas. The service is good, fast and attentive. The food comes in small easy portions, 4-5 are sufficient for two people. Price is good. The caipirinha cocktails we had instead of dessert were excellent.

Located in very lively area full of bars / eateries. Resto itself smallish, rustic & unpretentious. Food Gastronomic / creative. Service great. Def will come back. Bravo 👍
