Over Grain | Rooftop Cocktail Lounge

Beautiful rooftop setting with the perfect mix of chill and energy. Amazing views especially for sunsets and at night. Mattia welcomed us, knew exactly what to recommend, and made the night even better with great conversation. I went with his tip – the “Dome Glow” – and it was flawless. Sundar’s craftsmanship behind the bar was impressive; every drink was a work of art in both flavor and presentation. We tried all three Negronis plus the Crimson Blossom Fizz – each one balanced, creative, and absolutely delicious. Enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend it.

Amazing servers, especially Mattia, he was more than kind to me and my friends, he even spent some time taking pictures of us until we liked one of them!! Always paying attention whether we need anything else at the table Furthurmore the view is absolutely stunning, I recommend going at sunset, that s the best time to be there. The drinks are on point, you get exactly what you ask for and the prices are more than fair. Pass by here if you are in Valletta! Also snacks are on the house.

We had cocktails on the rooftop at Over Grain. The atmosphere was perfect, and Mattia was our wonderful and attentive waiter/ barman. The cocktails were delicious would highly recommend.

We needed a relaxing evening and had a wonderful couple of cocktails accompanied by some lovely background music and gorgeous views. The cocktails were superb, so much so we asked the waiter Mattia for the recipe and he wrote it down for us! He was really charming and you could tell was passionate about his work. Only downside is we didn’t get chance to come back. Lovely🫶🏼

Over Grain is such a perfect spot to wind down and take in Malta’s stunning sunsets. 🌅🍹 The vibe is relaxed yet classy, ideal for sipping a cocktail and just chilling as the sky changes colours. Great drinks, great view, great atmosphere… exactly what you want for an evening in Valletta.

Wonderful service on our last night in Malta. We booked a late night slot and basically had the rooftop to ourselves on a Friday night. The team was very friendly and the whole night felt very special!

Great and classy rooftop bar with an amazing view on Valetta’s rooftops and also the sea. The service is of a high-quality, the prices are not expensive if we take the quality of installations and drinks into account. The champagne Negroni was an interesting twist. I recommend for a romantic drink escape away from Valetta’s noisy streets in the evening.

Enjoyed one of our best nights in malta here. The barkeeper Mattia was super friendly and we had some super conversations! Thanks Mattia. :) Ambiete was super beautiful with the sunset.
