A Taste of Texas in Utah!
My family and I have been on the hunt for a brisket that rivals what we had back in Texas — and we finally found it at Cole’s. When we arrived, we were a little surprised to see it inside a multi-market building, but the atmosphere was still warm and welcoming.
One bite of their brisket and it was like we were back in Texas. Pro tip: ask for the fatty, burnt bark — most customers apparently don’t request it, but it’s absolutely the best part, and they brought some out for us. The bark was spot on.
The fries were fresh and served hot, which is always a win. My wife ordered the brisket salad and called it “to die for.” I got the meat by the pound, and honestly, it was more reasonably priced than other spots we’ve tried in Utah.
The rolls are store-bought, but paired with that meat, it didn’t even matter.
Highly recommend this place if you’re craving authentic brisket!
