My partner and I had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely magical 😍 From the moment we viewed the Mosaic Room, we knew this is where we wanted to have our special celebration! The wedding packages are very flexible and tailored to your needs and wants, right down to the food that's served! We had complimentary menu tasting before our event to ensure the food was what we envisioned, which was great! The staff were also very flexible with the room/space, allowing us to set it up how we wanted. We stayed in the Meandering Atrium room, which one night was included in our wedding package, but we extended it to 2 nights. The room was absolutely amazing and we were extremely comfortable! It was so lovely to have such an awesome room to make the occasion feel extra special. We will definitely be returning to Ovolo Nishi for our future wedding anniversaries and staying a night or two to treat ourselves and relive the wonderful experience we had!

Truly fabulous hotel! Location, super quiet, heavenly beds, with great pillows .. well thought out, excellent mini with lots of local stuff available, really everything you need without making a fuss about it .. funky decor with a seriously excellent design ideas. Also dined at monster.. again really excellent! We were late night guests so opted for the less formal area.. top draw service, and my food was fabulous. My only sadness was I wasn’t there longer !! Would like to stay in a lake view with bath.. Next time!!

Friend and I had the antipasta plate with a drink in the bar, not the restaurant. Not recommended. $38 for deli meats, some very salty pickled veg and very salty olives. Served with dry crackers, not the sourdough advertised on menu. Very unbalanced offering , too dry and salty. Needs fresh veg, a dip or something. Hard to see why the chef has not adjusted this boring antipasto plate. Disappointing.

This hotel is fantastic! We went for a business trip for just one night. The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was a breeze, and the complimentary drinks were a nice little touch.||We stayed in the large atrium room - massive, King size bed, with a huge bathroom, huge bath and double showers. ||The hotel is an eclectic mix of decor, each area with different little touches. ||we really enjoyed it and would go back if the opportunity presented itself.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ovolo Nishi! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by stunning art everywhere, creating a truly inspiring ambiance. The hospitality of the staff made our experience even more special. Mandy, Ada, Nidya, and Rose were exceptional in making us feel welcome. At the bar, Hritz impressed us, while Mia and Aarti from the restaurant truly made our day. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

Stayed at the Nishi in Canberra for 1 night and was severely disappointed with the customer service experience. Heads up, if you're planning to stay you could potentially set the fire alarm off when opening the bathroom door after a hot shower session for less than 30 seconds. Apologies aside when staff was given feedback, the staff was more inclined to advise its not a requirement to give future guests a heads up on the sensitive fire alarm system instead of taking the feedback on board. As a 5 star hotel I would've expected the staff to acknowledge the inconvenience caused before providing us with a condescending explanation that the "fire alarms are for the safety of the guests speel". Anyways sadly, won't be staying at place anytime soon, which is a shame as we quite liked the quirky ambience and the location of the place and we travel fair bit for work.
