I honestly found this place quite overrated. The 40‑minute wait was definitely not worth it, and the long queue felt more like classic hunger marketing than genuine demand. It’s pretty obvious that the hype mainly comes from China’s Xiaohongshu rather than the actual quality of the food. The choux and gelato were fine, but nothing special — very normal quality for the price and the wait. What surprised me most was how old‑fashioned their pickup system is. They shout out the order numbers in a very traditional way, and if you miss it, that’s on you. No repeats, no reminders. Overall, it’s more hype than substance. Plenty of better options without the unnecessary queue.

Overrated, not worth for queuing. The puff is crispy and nice. But the cream is soso. And the attitude for the uncle is a bit bad. A few customers have been waiting there for long, and when they ask if they have the items, the uncle said he has been calling them for several times. Actually, they can install a board for showing the number. And the service from the uncle is a bit, I think thats one of the reasons why long queue. Anyway, worth to try once, but not a must to go for.

Really enjoyed this dessert We were lucky there was no line. If there’s a line, you might have to wait a while since every order is made fresh and there is only two persons working including the owner (famous old man) The puff is really crunchy and the cream filling is fresh and full of vanilla. I would come back again to try all the other flavors

Very delicious dessert. Cash or Octopus, no credit card taken when I went. Takeaway only! I got there at 14:45 and waited until 15:00 when they opened. Queue got long but I was first. Worth a try and I will go back to try more.

I usually give a place 5 stars if they are consistently good and I would definitely come back again & this place is it. First tried this in 2019 & the quality has not changed which is amazing. Fantastic chewy but crispy Choi’s pastry with a very generous filling that isn’t too sweet. Must try if you like choux pastry!

Signature cream brûlée flavour cost $45. Worth it. Full of cream inside the puff, be careful it squeeze out easily when you eat. Only takeaway and accept cash, octopus, Alipay and Wechat pay.

We were nearby and tried out this Michelin recommended takeout. Each choux is freshly prepared by the father and son duo. Crème brûlée was light, not too sweet, had a lovely crunch with a hint of salt. We also shared the tropical and hojicha which were equally enjoyable. There was a 30-40min wait on a Sunday afternoon but was well worth it.

Amazing choux pastries!! Luckily we managed to catch the shop just before closing time when they were making the last batch. Unfortunately they didn’t have all the flavours but we chose the crème brûlée and tiramisu flavours, it was super delicious and the texture of the choux was on point! I’m usually not a fan of cream and neither is my body but nearly ate most of it 🤣. Only downside is the pastries are pretty dear, I believe it’s around 50-60 HKD for each pastry which based on the size is a tad high. Would go again though as a treat!
