The other reviews are correct - this is not a luxury hotel by any means, but what it lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for in character. It is beautifully appointed, very quiet and the beds are very comfy. The grounds are beautiful and the pool, while much smaller than it looks in photo's, was really nice. |The service was amazing, however it took forever for the barman to make drinks.|Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when we stayed. As the hotel is about a 1-2 minute walk down a dark lane way, and there are no restaurants near-by, this meant a good 15 minute walk in the dark, down the alley then along a very busy main road with no footpaths and lots of holes. |While we absolutely loved the hotel and the staff, we would not stay here again purely due to the location.

Our stay at this resort in Galle, Sri Lanka, was absolutely unforgettable—truly one of the finest we’ve experienced in the country. The location is simply perfect, right by the ocean, with breathtaking, clear views from every room. We were a group of 8 adults and 2 kids, and we couldn’t have asked for better hospitality. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and impeccably maintained. The breakfast options are diverse, and they’re happy to customize meals to your preferences. The staff, including the owner Me Reita, were incredibly friendly, making us feel like we’d known them for years. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Galle.

It was a really pleasure to stay at the OTP Hotel! All the staff took care of me and to all of my needs with attention and kindness. The rooms are big, spacious, panoramic and each room is taken care of in the smallest details, the staff is extremely kind and helpful. They made my birthday day magical. The rooms are very clean and the staff tidies and cleans the rooms twices times a day. This hotel is unbelievably relaxing. The location is basically unbeatable, you can see and hear the ocean in every corner of the property. the staff are so sweet and friendly and go out of their way to help. we were traveling with a small baby and it made our trip so much more comfortable to have the entire staff smiling and playing with her when she was around. the rooms are huge and i cant think of any other hotel i've ever been to which has such cool, unique style. truly it's a hotel unlike any other! PS make sure you get a massage with their incredible therapist!!!!

Beautiful location with rooms looking out over the ocean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Bar staff very obliging in providing unique cocktails. Food to a very high standard, breakfast and evening meals. The rooms have a unique decor which together with the owl and pussycat themed make this resort hotel a very pleasurable experience. A short trip down the busy road takes you into the heart of historic Galle.

The best holiday! Thank you for organization of our rest. Sri-Lanka and Owl and the Pussycat are our new love! These emotions are priceless, new memories will help to survive our cold winter. The hotel has a very good location, there is a very good and clean beach within 50 metres. Well-desinged suits, cleanleness, perfect service, well-behaved stuff. Only downside, there is not enough variety of breakefasts. |All in all, it is a perfect hotel for spending your holiday!
