"Located in the Vinings area, Oy serves larger-than-life pancakes. It may seem like a gimmick, but the pancakes actually delicious. Thin, with a slightly crispy exterior, order plain pancakes or try one of the more creative takes like the Cinna-Yum, stuffed with cinnamon and pecan and topped with cream cheese icing." - Lia Picard, Eater Staff

I am a breakfast person, and the food was DEFINITELY a 10!! It was hot, tasty, and seasoned well. 😋😋😋I am also a tea snob, and my tea cup was well heated before they poured the tea in it. Because of this, my tea stayed hot the entire length of the meal. You also tell that the mason jars of water were also previously chilled. Andrea was our server who provided the best service I've had in a while. She was pleasant and made sure that our needs were taken care of in a timely manner. The atmosphere is very casual but very clean. We will MOST DEFINITELY be going back again!!

Google
Yes, it’s absolutely worth going, and I have been telling everyone to go! This place has been circulating on the socials for a while since the pancakes are enormous! They come in 7” or 14” sizes, but no one will tell you that these values refer to the RADIUS, not the diameter! Hence, I still ended up with a vinyl-sized pancake, even after ordering the 7” size to avoid getting such a large pancake. Can’t complain, though! Their food is absolutely fantastic. The pancakes, though pointedly large, can be finished so easily and sit well for the rest of the day. Home fries are killer, especially with hot sauce. Lemon pancake was so perfectly tart and sweet, and Oreo pancake was indulgently good. Service was also great! The only things to keep in mind: (1) Avoid the French Toast. It was underbaked, gluey, and tasted only of butter (maybe minutely of cinnamon as well). This was the only item left unfinished on the table. (2) They will charge for any and every customization to your order and will NOT tell you: swapping out meat for fruit, ordering a flavored pancake as part of a combo meal, swapping for an alternative meat, etc. The overall price was a nightmare as a result - I went in thinking I’d be paying for slightly more than an American Breakfast but paid twice that amount. Nonetheless, I would still go again knowing all of these things now!

Google
Heard that this place is famous for its Giant Pancake, but the server straight-up warned me: “You won’t be able to finish it!” 🤣 So, I went for three 7-inch pancakes instead—and still ended up stuffed! 🤣 ✅ Flavors tried: Original, Blueberry, and a seasonal Lemon special 🍋🫐 No aluminum baking powder here—just perfectly fluffy, chewy, and dense pancakes with a great bite. Absolutely delicious! 🥞✨

Google
Jimena & Andrea took excellent care of us. I’m from out of town and we kinda picked this restaurant on a whim but I’m so glad we did!! The food was really tasty and reasonably priced. Great service! The 7” pancakes are HUGE and all over great place. Will be back next time I’m in town!

Google
OY has a neighborhood Friends type vibe. I love the ambiance, it’s low key and the value is amazing! I am a breakfast person, however I am annoyingly picky and Oy checks all of my boxes! The food is fresh, tasty, delicious and it makes you happy. Seriously, who can be angry about a giant pancake! I wake up early on Saturdays because the food is so good and I love that they are conveniently located in one of my favorite parts of town. I usually get an omelette, which is cooked all the way I don’t think contains pancake batter. They are large and so fluffy! My husband gets either an omelette or eggs sunny side up and bacon. My daughter is our pancake tester! Honestly so yummy!

Google
We heard about this place and wanted to give it a try. We weren't disappointed. We were seated right away and our drink order was taken while we looked over the menu. I ordered the 14 inch blueberry pancake and my wife and friends all ordered the American breakfast. All the food came out fast and hot and was delicious! The 14 inch pancake was huge and was served on a metal pizza plate. 🙂 Our server was attentive and took very good care of us during our visit. Looking forward to returning to try some of the lunch items on the menu.🙂

Google
The pancakes are no joke when it comes to size but also are delicious. Some of the best pancakes we’ve had so far. Farmer’s omelette was filled with vegetables. The biscuits and gravy filled my cravings so much that I had to order some gravy to take home for the extra biscuit I had from the omelette dish.

Google
Our server, Emma, was great! The food was delicious and our pancake was HUGE. Emma was super attentive when necessary, and left us be when needed, it was the perfect combo of respectfulness and attentive. For a place with good food, it’s also affordable. Highly recommend. Ask for Emma!

Yelp
I will start with the bad: The floor was sticky at the first table we sat at, but we were moved to a bigger table that could accommodate our large order and that floor was fine. The grits were not my favorite and the turkey sausage was cooked weird and "deflated" as the fork entered. The portions are big so we will have leftovers for days! The strawberry pancake was our favorite and the red velvet was the second best. My son said the burgers and fries were both great and well-seasoned. My husband had the pulled pork hash and said it was "amazing"! We will be back!

Raven E.

Yelp
The atmosphere is very clean and cozy. We was greeted with a smile face and seated quickly at a huge table for 4. The food was amazing. I was so happy that everything came out piping hot. We will be back.

Cassandra K.

Yelp
The food was AWESOME! The service was great and the restaurant ambiance was good! The eggs were fresh and the bacon was cooked too perfection. The large pancake is about four regular size pancake! Definitely sharable

Janice B.

Yelp
The worst Shrimp & Grits I have ever had! The grits were very soupy with large pieces of bell pepper & onions.

Enna J.

Yelp
The restaurant was packed and the service was slow but that was to be expected since it was weekend brunch time. Everything was good except for the "skillet potatoes". They weren't seasoned at all and tasted like bagged frozen potatoes. Also not much cheese on the "cheese fries". It seems like they're known for their massive pancakes, so maybe we'll come back for those. The did look good

Carol K.

Yelp
First, there is a parking lot and I found a spot in front on a Saturday morning. I was meeting a friend for breakfast and we had a booth that was conducive to conversation. I was pleased to see gluten-free items on menu. My friend ordered avocado toast and I got the American breakfast. I don't eat pork so opted for the chicken sausage. I asked to sub grits for the home fries. Unfortunately the sausage was cold, like it had not been fully warmed up. The eggs and pancake (enormous!) were fine. Coffee was good. Service was friendly and prompt. So I would recommend but not go out of my way to go back.

Mel G.

Yelp
I have ordered from here many times and the food, service and professionalism is 10/10. The pancakes are HUMONGOUS so be prepared! But they are delicious!

Debra H.

Yelp
I had breakfast there during the week. The restaurant was so cold. When we asked the waitress why, she said that the back door was open for a delivery. What the heck! I cannot imagine a restaurant doing this to their guests. The food was good and the service was excellent. I will never get over how cold it was so I have them a 3.

Honest N.

Yelp
The food was horrible, it tasted like warmed up packaged preprocessed foods. I don't recommend this place

Kat C.

Yelp
Food is great! Issue is bathroom locks. They have odd locking, there is a sign but the other

Khai C.

Yelp
Oy! Where do I even start with this spot? This experience was mind blowing. My significant other and I were on a trip to Atlanta and spontaneously chose Oy! for breakfast and it has been the most memorable breakfast dining experience that I have ever had. At the time we went, they weren't very busy at all. Our server was kind and super helpful. The food was amazing! I loved how unique the menu was. We had so much food we didn't know what to do with it. We ended up taking at least 2 pancakes to go and ate it as a snack later. Highly recommend :)

Rontay S.

Yelp
The atmosphere here is outstanding! Great music, great energy & the food is a must try. Our server was very patient with me because it was my first time there. My burger was amazing, first time with melted cheese on fries and I wasn't a fan but it was good and I'm glad the cook only put a little amount of queso on fries. Nevertheless this place is great!

Kate O.

Yelp
The staff was super sweet, and I had a lovely time, but the French Toast soufflé was so chewy and rubbery that you could barely cut it with a knife. The pancake didn't have any flavor either, super bummed. The food was pipping hot, though!

Deatra A.

Yelp
Kelly was an excellent waitress. Her service was beyond spectacular. I wish I could say the same for the manager and owner. The building was very cold and impossible to enjoy your meal. When asked if the heat could be increased the manager said no. Two elderly ladies were sitting next to me and eating in their coats. They were shaking. I use to come here and bring out of town guest. Not any more. Pancake was raw inside. Manager did not even come to table to apologize. Find another place for breakfast until they get their act together.

Yelp
This place can count their days! I had the worst experience I have ever had in my entire life that this place! The customer service was below zero!! No one spoke to me at all when I walked in and sat at the bar and it was a waitress right at the bar so I asked if somebody was going to speak to me and another lady comes from behind me and took my order!! Ok maybe it will get better from here! NO NO No it didn't!! A man came and sat at the bar next to me! Mind you it's only 2 seats at the bar! Y'all they spoke and checked on this man 3 times before his food arrived!! I'm watching them wait on him hand and foot the entire time and nobody even looked to see if I needed anything! It was like I was invisible ! And I asked for cheese grits smh (see photo be below) cuz WTF was that!! So I asked for a refund and I returned the Grits I'm not eating this slice of unmelted mystery cheese ! Sooo Instead of them putting money back on my card she gave me 3$ in cash. First of all these grits were $3.49 plus tax! So they treated me poorly and then stole my money don't go here!!

Kendra M.

Yelp
It's been a few years since I've visited Oy! I was in the area and thought it would be a good place to eat brunch. The parking is easy, the food came out fast ( on a Thursday around 11am), attentive service by Jimena, and the ambiance is casual and not loud. I had the eggs, turkey sausage, biscuit and grits. My partner had the breakfast sandwich. We shared a small pancake. It was big! And the pancake was delicious!. So flavorful! My partner said the sandwich was really good. I didn't like the sausage at all. It was clearly not fresh and I couldn't even fish both pieces. I would not have it again. The biscuit, grits and eggs were good. I would have then again. Overall I'm looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
The huge pancakes are often the most-talked about menu item here- but, the star of my breakfast was the shrimp and grits. I was superrrrr surprised at how delicious this was- they nailed it. Now...shrimp and grits are one of those things, that most restaurants just can't seem to get right. Either it's too bland, too soupy, or the flavor profiles just aren't right. But Oy, has it down pact like we're in South Carolina or the low country. I ate the entire bowl. My husband had the American Breakfast, and it was really good too. I couldn't keep my fork out of his eggs and potatoes. We really enjoyed our breakfast here, and will definitely return.

Sharon L.

Yelp
The place was buzzing when we stopped in for Sunday brunch. Staff is friendly. I ordered the egg soufflé. Our waiter warned that it is very cheesy. Basically, it's challah infused with a block of Swiss and cheddar cheeses. Very dense, and as a meal, a little too much cheese. The plate could have benefitted from a side of fruit to cut the density and saltiness of the cheese. My slice was also cooked a little too much with both ends solidified to the point the knife could not cut through. Hubby had the French toast. It too was pretty dense, but a nice infusion of cinnamon. Coffee was strong and good.

Rebecca H.

Yelp
Hanging out with my son for lunch. We loved this place. Food was hot and served fast. My son says the place was extremely clean and smelled great. LOL I think I'm creating a jr foodie. Service was impeccable. Everyone was attentive and pleasant. Our server was Jonathan B and he offered suggestions and he personally likes who he's helped because it was our first time here. When I say this place is clean...I mean clean clean. Not just wipe off the tables but immaculate.

Nisha B.

Yelp
Decent breakfast. I appreciated the wait times being pretty quick. We were seated after 20 min on a Sunday and the food comes out after about 10. I do wish they had outdoor seating. Also the food was just ok but the pancakes were pretty stellar. I ordered the American breakfast but the pancakes were the best part. Reasonable prices and plenty of parking too .

TiCa L.

Yelp
The best breakfast spot in Atlanta! My favorite was the extreme buttermilk pancakes... the best!

Kristina L.

Yelp
Food was not good. Had an issue with the tip manager left me on hold 45 minutes then hung up and wouldn't respond.

CJ C.

Yelp
GOOD AF!!!! First time here and this is my new added spot. First we ordered food came out in less than 5 minutes literally. these shrimp and grits with onions, mushrooms, and two eggs on top fried hard is bussing. It was also creamy and the spice level was just right. I also added raw sugar. The service was great. I will definitely be coming back here. The eggs, waffles, and French toast was so fluffy!! I loved it. Definitely will order other stuff as I visit. The seating rather small but great for date day or party of 6-8. Don't tell Keith Lee we hate keeping this spot.

Kelly L.

Yelp
I came here to meet for a business breakfast, and luckily we go there right before the super rush. It's super busy, and service is pretty good! Friendly, prompt and attentive. The food is described on paper deliciously, but is average at best. I got the breakfast plate with eggs, bacon, grits and a biscuit. The eggs were bland and the cheese I got added was not mixed in but dumped on top, which was the same as my grits. The grits had no flavor, which was sad bc they looked decent. The bacon and the biscuit were the best parts, as well as the coffee. But the star of the show is the playlist!!! "Sweet Thing" by Chaka Khan, Isley brothers, lauryn hill--the vibes are awesome. I just wish the food matched :(

Bill B.

Yelp
Enjoyed our meal here as we stopped off on way to airport. Stumbled upon restaurant and pleasantly surprised. Food food, plenty and ambiance good. A little loud but overall good vibe. We had breakfast, huge pancake and omelette, both were the small. If looking for breakfast then worth a try.

Chris W.

Yelp
They should rename this play OK! Because everything about it is just Ok. The food was OK not great and the service was Ok not great. The pancakes are huge but don't really have a ton of taste and they were kind of dense so you have to bath them in syrup. The eggs and the home fries were probably the best things on the table. The space is not that big but still the waitress just dropped off our food never to be seen from again. She finally came back and asked me did I want a water refil when it was time to get the check which was pretty absurd. I will pass on a revisit but if you are into Ok then this is the spot for you.

Roland G.

Yelp
Food is good. Service is good. I didn't have to wait long for a table. Ambiance is nice, great location and plenty of parking.

Julian T.

Yelp
This place completely disrupted my friend's birthday! The service was frankly unacceptable. We walked out before even getting seated. Do better Oy!

Olivia G.

Yelp
This was a great brunch spot that lived up to expectations! I went for brunch during the week and was able to get seated promptly. Oy has a dinner feel to it and felt cozy. I ordered the American Breakfast plate with the blueberry pancake. It was so good! I tried my best to tackle that pancake but it beat me up lol. Parking can be an issue depending on the time of day but where isn't it? Oy has definitely been added to the breakfast roatation.

Dr. B J S.

Yelp
Some of the breakfast is average. The sausage was undercooked. The sausage was for a toddler. It was requested that the chef cook the sausage a little more, and they put it in the microwave!!! The waitress was nice, but we had a family of 4 and a toddler. The waitress says, I know it doesn't make sense but I have to charge you as a group. She looked strange because she knew it was ridiculous. She assumed she was not gonna get a tip when in reality, she would have gotten a larger tip because we liked the service. The BIGGEST TURN OFF was finding a long strand of hair in our food. We had a direct line of site to the chef; it was 100% her hair. No accommodation was suggested. We definitely will not return. While they were stereotyping us, they are cooking in the back with no hair net; serving up nasty hair food.

Julie S.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely disgusting. I have no idea what people are raving about but I would not recommend this restaurant nor ever eat here again. The sausage patties were boiled and tasted like wet cardboard. The spinach omelette was browned and tasted like NOTHING. It thought the honey butter biscuit were my saving grace turns out it was a salted butter biscuit. I literally spit it out and asked for the check. The waiter did not do a good job reading the room because he kept asking if I wanted a to go box for the wet cardboard and dog biscuit !

Kim T.

Yelp
Looking for a large portion of food. This is the place for you. Pancakes are pretty good and customer service was okay.

Crystal N.

Yelp
This may very well become a new spot we go to occasionally. Everything from the greeting at the host stand to our exit was impeccable. Our server AJ was attentive and professional and we never felt like we had to ask for anything because she was on top often everything. One of my biggest pet peeves is spending money on a bad time and bad food; I feel like our money was well spent here. The portions of the food were generous but not obnoxiously so. My boyfriend's over medium eggs were cooked perfectly and he's a little snooty tooty about his eggs. I don't know what coffee they use but I must find out next time because that's what I'm snooty about. The vibe inside was welcoming and didn't feel awkward at all, unlike the "Another Broken Egg" down the street that we had to leave this morning and come here. Will update next time with pictures.

Madison R.

Yelp
Such good food & the waitress was very nice! The only issue was the hostess was clearly not happy to be at work or seat anyone. Overall it was a good experience though!

Pamela T.

Yelp
Wonderful!! Everything was great! I had the French Toast casserole and the filling was good. It's was almost like a custard but better because I am NOT a custard person. It maybe is a custard and how they make it is better than most custards I've had but whichever way it was good. I also split the cinnamon pancake with my friend. AMAZING!! It tasted like a cinnamon bun. I also had sausage and eggs I didn't only eat bread. lol!

Faith F.

Yelp
Cheese eggs and potatoes was amazing yesssd I got the wrong pancake the cinnamon yum was not good turkey bacon tut brand is amazing not salty I like how drinks are served in jars

Kimberly S.

Yelp
Enjoyed brunch with my girlfriends today. My friends ordered the pancakes. Yes they are larger than life. Ladies couldn't finish them. I enjoyed the Cobb salad. It was yummy. Great casual atmosphere. Server was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Coffee and water refills were endless and very quick.

Iris J.

Yelp
We went as a team brunch outing!! The atmosphere is small but cute and quiet!! Our server was great with suggestions. We were able to order a lot and try each other food. The pancakes were huge but so delicious. The chicken Philly omelette was so delicious and seasoned. The Philly cheesesteak fries were the best for me!! We would defiantly be back because it so much that we wanted to try.

Linda M.

Yelp
We went between breakfast and lunch so it wasn't too crowded. The food was very tasty and our wait person was very efficient and friendly. I recommend this restaurant, but expect to wait if you go at breakfast or lunch. Parking can be crowded. Plan accordingly.

Sally N.

Yelp
Great service and yummy food. A good combo. At a decent price. Low key people who are kind

Brandi A.

Yelp
The pancakes are massive! Highly recommend the Strawberry Shortstack... I also got the cinnamon and the pancake of the month, chocolate, which were also amazing!

John N.

Yelp
Jimena was great and food was fast and awesome!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tiffany C.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I tried to walk in to eat. We arrived at 2:36 PM and I guess their kitchen closes at 2:45, no problem. A lady literally says out loud for us to hear: "They got 5 minutes they better hurry up." and everyone starts looking at us. That is so rude!! On so many levels. You don't say that for the customer to hear regardless of if it's true or not and you certainly don't use the tone she had. I typically like Oy! but this was a complete turn off. Hemena came and was kind afterwards but I was so bothered that I didn't even want to spend my money there so we left.

Valerie G.

Yelp
the french toast casserole satisfies all of the craving for a cinnabon -- decadent, served warm, hearty portion. best part is you can get the american breakfast (eggs, bacon, home fries) and substitute out the pancake for a small french toast casserole for $5. this way i was able to try everything on the menu that i wanted to without breaking the bank or just simply having too much food. fair prices, friendly and prompt service. will definitely be back.

Alberto O.

Yelp
Food was great, service was excellent. Menu is well balanced with enough, but not overwhelming amount of options. Iced caramel coffee was really good, hope they offer a frozen version in the future.

Becca S.

Yelp
Food is amazing but the atmosphere is just okay. Seating is not the most comfortable and if you go on a weekend you can usually expect to wait at least 10 min before you can be seated because it's a pretty small space. I don't really recommend for large groups but brunch for 2 or 4 is okay! The pancakes are the best! And now I think they serve alcohol as well if you're looking for a boozy brunch spot!

Kia H.

Yelp
Great food. Fast service. I ordered take out the pancake are exceptionally over rated to big and the French toast wasn't good the taste is to commercial

Chaya D.

Yelp
I have been to Oy twice for breakfast and have loved it each time. The menu has everything you want to eat for breakfast and you truly feel its home cooked. The service is great too.

Malorie M.

Yelp
Overall, the staff was nice and the prices are good. It's not a huge place, but you don't feel cramped with the seating either. If you're a pancake person, then this is the place for you. The potatoes were my favorite, and the omelets are a great portion size as well.
