The Best Restaurants in Beaverton

"Oyatsupan — an airy, upscale Five Oaks bakery — makes a wide array of traditional Japanese breads, pastries, and sandwiches, picked out using trays and tongs while walking through the space. Pastries are often as fun as they are delicious, like the chocolate cornet, filled with chocolate-custard cream and finished with frosting eyeballs to resemble a surprised caterpillar. Those looking for something savory can find items like a tonkatsu slider with fried pork filet or the kare doughnut, filled with beef curry." - Krista Garcia

The Best Bakeries in Portland

"When it first opened in 2016, Oyatsupan brought traditional Japanese baking to the outskirts of Portland. Today, it still serves some of the best Japanese sweet and savory pastries in the area — things like kare pan, a soft bread boat filled with Japanese curry, as well as castella doughnuts and jiggly Japanese cheesecake. Those seeking lightly sweet, fluffy shokupan will also find those here, either in the form of whole loaves or sliced for Japanese-style egg salad sandwiches." - Michelle Lopez, Janey Wong

The Best Japanese Food in Portland, Oregon and Its Suburbs - Eater Portland

"Although Oyatsupan’s shokupan (milk bread) and baked goods can be found in select markets and restaurants around the city, pastry pursuers head to its Beaverton bakery to buy crunchy kare doughnuts and slices of red bean cheesecake fresh from the source. Oyatsupan’s fluffy shokupan supports a variety of sandwiches, in varieties like egg-and-cucumber and tonkatsu; they’re available by the whole or half. The bakery’s name is a compound word; “oyatsu” means “snack,” and “pan” is the Japanese word for bread." - Janey Wong

Google
Summary: good… but they should def work on presentation and operation methods. Otherwise, was fun trying out but I’d go to other big bakery chains for more and yummier options. Food: out of the items I got, I only really liked 1 item and that was the fluffy curry bread. The meat to bread ratio was perfect and the flavor was tasty. The katsu chicken bread could’ve been good if it was actually warmed up. The remaining breads were just too bready and honestly a little dry, like that jalapeño dog one. And outside of food, DO NOT GET THE MATCHA LATTE. Genuinely was the worst matcha drink ever bc that mf tasted like straight up powder. Had to basically wait an hour for the ice to help dilute everything down for it to even be edible. Was very very disappointed. Price: expensive imo, especially for some. Not trying to compare to more well known bakery chains, but given the quality and taste of these breads, they should be priced more between the $2-3 instead of the $3-5 range. Service: like other big chains, it’s a self serve place. Grab your trays and tongs and get what you want and bring to check out. Atmosphere: pretty spacious area with beautiful lighting but its decor can be worked on. Lots of seating availablility so it can be ideal for studying or a hangout/date. Just be aware that with the spaciousness and building material, the volume can maybe get loud. Note: although I think the shelf presentation can be cute, it’s honestly hard to grab the bread without being awkward. Just kinda inefficient bc you open the glass case by grabbing the small hole and depending on where the bread is located, either have to bend or stretch to grab it. Not only that, the clear display of what each bread is, is hard to read unless you’re up close. And if you are up close, you’re blocking other people’s way of getting what they want. I’d strongly recommend switching the way these breads are presented because they’re hard to access and read its content. And revamp your decor because it doesn’t feel as welcoming and nice as other bakery chains.

Google
This place was excellent from the second walk in the atmosphere was very laid back easy to understand instructions. Grab a tray, grab some tongs, go pick out what you like to eat and then pay. The food was delicious we took it to go because we were in a hurry. We enjoyed the cinnamon roll, this amazing apple and cinnamon crunchy delicious mouth-watering desert, regular melon pan, a breakfast croissant that tasted like a pizza, some kind of a sweet bread. My taste buds did the happy dance all morning and this stuff is great hot or cold. 8 out of 10

Google
We had been looking for the curry bread we tasted during our Japan trip last year and nowhere in Portland was getting it right. THIS is the real deal. So happy we found this place!

Google
This is a very unique little spot. The bakery is the best in the area for japanese style donuts and other baked goods. They also have japanese style egg salad sandwiches and strawberry cakes. I have never had something here that I didn't love. I would very much recommend it

Google
Nice place with good food items. We shared a slice of cheesecake and a slice of the strawberry cake and hot tea. We took home some raisin bread rolls. Cakes were delicious and tea was good. Be mindful of how hot the tea is .very very hot. The raisin rolls were awesome. Soft with lots of raisins.

Google
Really cozy Japanese bakery with lots of tasty options! They've got everything from bread to cakes and cream puffs. Nice that they have indoor seating too - perfect for taking a break and enjoying your treats. A sweet little spot to relax and grab some fresh Japanese baked goods.

Google
Went back after 2 years. Everything was as exactly good as i remembered then to be. The strawberry cream cake was just perfect and so was everything else from the shelves. The staff were welcoming and great as usual. Would highly recommend and take some home with you too and share this jewel.

Google
Excellent fresh Japanese style baked goods, coffee & tea, bread loaves & sandwiches. A wonderful place that's become a new favorite in the Portland area.

Yelp
Back again but today feeling more sweet so I got vanilla cornet and Castill cake filling one. Very very good and because it's a Japanese bakery it's not nearly as sweet as you'd think so it's definitely my vibe if you are a "not too sweet" type of person. Today I also tried a new good: black sesame croissant. This is very very filling and very sweet. The black sesame flavor is quite strong and present. I would get this again but it would be the only thing because it's a lot flavor wise.

Yelp
We arrived at 12:50pm on a Saturday and 80% of the pastries were sold out! They had already restocked at 12 and apparently there were more patrons than they anticipated. There was plenty of seating. The curry soup was very good; it came with a slice of bread. We picked up a slice of cheesecake, chocolate cornet, black sesame croissant and cookies - all very good. We'll have to come earlier next time to have a wider selection to choose from!

Yelp
Really love this little Japanese bakery! Great baked goods, they have a few nice sandwiches, and drinks as well. There is a good amount of seating with plenty of light! Bathroom there too. Parking is a breeze as well. You usually see a lot of family hanging out at this little spot. I haven't really had much I haven't enjoyed from here :)

Yelp
Made a special trip here. The gf heard about the goodness coming out of this spot and we are glad we came. We snaked on 3 different items. They were crunchy and flavorful. This has 85 degrees vibes where you pick what you want yourself and pay at the counter. Quiet and clean inside. Will be back.

Yelp
I ate Oyatsupan everyday for breakfast on my most recent trip back to Beaverton. I grew up in this neighborhood, and adult me seriously wishes that Oyatsupan existed when I was growing up here. I have tried almost their entire menu, and everything is so delicious. They have lots of different sweet and savory options. I recommend the kare donut which is a warm, savory pocket of goodness. The croissants are buttery and flaky. The shokupan is perfectly fluffy, and the slices are great for sandos. Whether you're looking for breakfast or just a snack for later, their bread and pastries are absolutely worth a visit.

Yelp
After trying a couple items from Oyatsupan at an event several months ago, it quickly became my favorite local bakery. When you first walk in just grab a tray, a pair of tongs, and get ready to choose from a huge selection of amazing pastries. There's plenty of seating, but I usually take mine to go. The best time to come in seems to be about 1-2 hours after they open so everything is fully stocked. They often sell out of several items by the afternoon in my experience. My favorite items are the melon pan, the curry beef bun (kare donut), and the sea salt butter roll. I also like to grab an egg salad sandwich to save for later. Honestly, everything I've tried is good so you can't really go wrong. I also love that they mix in a lot of seasonal items. I've heard their coffee is amazing as well, but I haven't tried it yet.

Yelp
Our go-to Asian bakery!! We've had their cheesecake, egg salad sandwich, and multiple pastries of theirs and everything has been great quality, not too sweet, fresh and wonderful texture. The interior is very bright and welcoming and there is plenty of parking.

Yelp
Was craving some japanese type pastries & googled where was the nearest best spot. Well, it lead me here, a 40 minute drive over the bridge. A very cute bakery with individual cubbies for the pastries. We came a little late, so not everything was available. It's ok though, there was still a good selection. We went with the kare pan & matcha pan. The matcha was nice & soft with that cookie type top, Not too sweet. The kare pan was very good! Nice savory beef curry inside with a crisp bread on the outside. We'll have to come earlier next time to try more. So delicious, & satisfied the craving.

Yelp
This is a great place to grab breakfast and a coffee. I had a tonkatsu sandwhich and it was simply delicious. The bread was soft and the pork was fried to perfectly topped with a great combination of sauce. I also had the black sesame croissant with a latte. The croissant was beautifully made with black sesame oozing forming a nice crust on top. Pairing that with the hot latte was magnificent. I would definitely come back to try the other pastries they have. Service was quick and fast and there is plenty of parking. It's a very nice casual environment to sit and have a relaxing breakfast.

Yelp
What a gem, one of my favorite spots in the Portland area! The katsu sando was so good and the melon bun as well, the bacon baguette stole the show!
google avatar

Alea A.

Yelp
A very cute and clean atmosphere. The bakery is sprinkled with fun merch. The options dwindle as the day goes on so it's best to get there in the morning when everything is fresh and fully stocked. The standouts were their curry creations, chicken katsu sando (not pictured) and milk bread (not pictured). The curry bun and beef curry donut were packed with flavor and the liquid texture from the curry helped balance out the drier bread. The other flavored pans (matcha and melon chocolate chip) had too subtle of a flavor to taste and the texture was on the drier side. The chicken katsu sando had a nicely seasoned sauce and a good ratio of meat to bread. Even though it was presumably sitting in a refrigerator all day it was really good! The milk bread is soft & fluffy. I am curious to try some of the other breads and pastries to see how they rank. Parking is not an issue (large parking lot located near other Asian restaurants), the cashier interactions were neutral, and the line was minimal.

Yelp
If you haven't been to Oyatsupan, you're missing out! This Japanese bakery has the best pastries, sandwiches, bread and drinks. When you walk in the door, go straight ahead towards the right to grab a tray and tongs. You'll use this to grab the pastries of your choice. Once you're done you can head to the register to pay where you can also order drinks. Along the register counter to the left there is also a case with various sandwiches like tonkatsu sliders, egg/cucumber sandwiches and more! I usually just come here for the pastries, which range from maybe $3-5 each. If you want to eat here, they have several tables to sit at. The space has high ceilings and natural light so it's a nice place to hang out to grab a quick meal or snack. One piece of advice... if you want the biggest selection of pastries do not come in the first or last 30-45 minutes of their operating hours! I went here once right after opening to grab snacks for a 2 hour drive and they hardly had anything out yet. They also try not to have too much waste at the end of the day and may run out of many items.

Yelp
This spot is awesome! They got so many variety of Japnese bakeries and they're all very enticing. Prices are great too so you can easily grab a bunch to try. Big, open space with many seatings. We got the Egg and Cucumber Sandwich, Red Bean Cheesecake, and Sweet Potato Bun to try. The egg salad in the sandwich was nice but I thought the bread was a little tough and chewy, not bad overall though. The winners were definitely the sweet options. We loved the sweet potato bun which was full of creamy potato filling and topped with crunchy struesel and the red bean cheesecake was so unique and decadent, highly recommend this one! Definitely will to be back to try more novel treats from here. They also do drinks which go great with their desserts.

Yelp
I recently visited Oyatsupan, a Japanese bakery, and was thoroughly impressed. The pastries are delicate, light, and so yummy! Their egg sandwiches are also a standout--perfect for a light-hearted snack. Ambiance is great - support local! There's tons of parking available, making it very convenient. Just remember to check the hours before visiting!!

Yelp
** vegetarian review ** This place is such a gem. It's very reasonably priced and so many baked goods. I got the black sesame croissant which was so damn buttery and such a good execution of the black sesame. I also got the egg sandwich which was delicious. I am definitely coming back. This place is great. Also their tea is good- matcha latte and genmaicha
google avatar

Yelp
This is a unique bakery. You get to choose your food out of display bins. I really liked having the description of each item. We chose the curry pan, a raisin and custard wheel and a tonkatsu sandwich. All were really light and good. It is counter service so it is low touch which is fine for a bakery. The place was clean and not too busy for lunch time. The danger here is getting only what you can eat! My eyes were bigger than my stomach.
google avatar

Chelle L.

Yelp
I've loved this place since I moved here in 2018. It's by far the best Japanese bakery in the area! I'm a sucker for any of their seasonal pastries, but I also love the oyatsu dogs, tonkatsu sandwich, fresh strawberry cake, baked cheesecake, kare donut, katsu kare pan, egg salad and cucumber sandwich, seasonal bundt cakes, pear croissant, and bacon epi--just to name a few, lol. My husband is obsessed with the jalapeño cheddar bread. They also do fun picnic box collaborations with local farmers, offering a fresh and curated experience. The staff is friendly, and the space is clean and open. Simply the best! I love them!

Yelp
Being from another state, this was a nice bakery to be introduced to. Business was good. Nice amount of choices . Enjoyed our pastries inside . Ended up buying all kinds of bread to take home too! .
google avatar

Celina S.

Yelp
Got a few things - castella donut, matcha frangipane croissant, beef curry donut, and double chocolate melon pan. The flavors were too subtle for me but more importantly the bread was dry :(
google avatar

Mikhail H.

Yelp
I finally got to try some of their delicious baked goods thanks to a Yelp event and WOW. I cannot wait to go in and get a pile of other stuff to try. Friends swear by them and now I see why. The items I got were so light with such wonderful flavor.
google avatar

Sum H.

Yelp
Most authentic Japanese bakery in the area. The place is clean and organized. They still follow Covid protocols as plastic gloves and sanitizer provided. I've tried some of their bread through Uwajimaya in Seattle and became my go to breakfast item. The price is feasible compared to other competitors like Fuji. I pre ordered a day ahead which is really helpful when out of city customers like me want to stop by and don't want what you want run out. So far I've tried a half of egg sandwich, a cream puff, anko donut and a curry pan. Everything is really good, tasted like bread in japan. Their curry bread filling is unique with a chunk of beef and vegetables. I also tried the matcha latte too but watch out it's not sweet at all. I will stop again next time I'm in the area for sure.
google avatar

Layton C.

Yelp
Had the chance to check out this spot and their pastries were so fluffy and crispy! They had a lot of options to choose from. My favorites were their red bean filled croissant and custard filled buns. I also tried their melon pan and thought they were a bit plain but still decent. This spot also provides an ample amount of seating in the spacious back area. With the relaxing, quiet, and calm atmosphere, this is a good place to get some work done.
google avatar

Joann T.

Yelp
This is a definite go to place in the Portland area!! I still think about how good the pastries were here. When you enter it's self serve. You can grab a tray and choose from whichever pastries you like. I recommend going a few different times and tasting different things. My favorite was the Japanese curry puff. I might just come back to Portland to get more.
google avatar

Jboogie L.

Yelp
Japanese and western style bakery. Enjoyed some baked goods. Got myself a Hojicha latte (you need to add your own sweetness to it) $4.50. Breads were around $3.20-4. They sold cakes and parfait too. You grab the bread/pastries with tongs. We saw a kid drop the bread/pastry on the floor and put it back in the shelf spot. Ehhhhh.
google avatar

Natalie C.

Yelp
I'd been wanting to try this bakery for a while, and finally got the chance! It's a self-serve bakery with Asian-inspired baked goods. I picked the matcha melon pan and a custard-filled raisin wheel and both were so fresh and delicious - perfection! I also ordered a matcha oat latte and it hit the spot. Really looking forward to trying the hojicha latte and another pastry next time around. In terms of service - you pick out your pastries on a tray, then wait in line to pay for them and/or order a beverage. The employees were friendly but super busy. Also want to note that they charge for packaging (small pastry bag or box) if you take your pastry to go, which was kind of silly tbh. The bakery feels like a big warehouse and is in a strip mall. Didn't really have a "vibe" to it so I wouldn't come here to work or hang out, but will definitely be back because I loved everything I got.
google avatar

Tracy D.

Yelp
They have an EXCELLENT selection of pastries and sandwiches that they bake in-house. You choose yourself (they provider trays and tongs to grab what you like, then you take it to the register to checkout). They have explanations of what each item is on the side, which I appreciated. There are places to sit inside if you wish to eat there.
google avatar

Aimee P.

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't raved about this shop in all of the happy visits in years! Always clean. Always stellar products. Mostly not oversteer, wide selection, staff is awesome, great drink options, seatings, take out-you name good things they have it. So good that they should have multiple locations ..... nationwide.
google avatar

Moani H.

Yelp
sooo good!! they have a choice for all your pastry wants -- sweet, savory, or a combination of both! i went to pastry shops in japan and this is very similar where you have a tray and you grab your selection from various clear boxes that have the baked goods inside. they have gloves and a pair of tongs that you use to grab your picks -- very clean! we got the Cream Pan Roll, jalapeño cream cheese croissant, and a raisin croissant roll. the cream roll was SO good, it was not super sweet so it was good... basically cream inside a delicate roll.. lighter feel especially for something cream filled. the cream cheese croissant was delicious! the croissant was perfectly crispy and flaky. the middle has the cream cheese spread with an egg and slices of jarred jalapeños so nice and spicy. it's a perfect brekkie snack. my friend got the raisin roll but she wasn't a fan.. though she likes raisins.... i don't... she said it was basically a raisin spread between the rolls versus raisins incorporated into the dough itself. she was a little off put but they have the same type of raisins lol but matcha and maybe i'll try that next time. they have a variety of tables so you can find easy accommodations for groups small to big if they our like to sit or you can just take it to go! they also have fresh baked bread japanese style loaves and regular sourdough style for purchase. they also have the cutest asian stickers at check out and near the entrance corner. yes they do have coffee if you like to enjoy your pastry with some coffee!
google avatar

Lei F.

Yelp
I love this place. It's my favorite Japanese bakery in all of the Pacific Northwest. Our favorite is the karee pan (curry panko bread) and the melon pan. The hotdog pastry is pretty good too. We also love getting their strawberry milk; it tastes fresh with strawberry bits - and they can substitute oatmilk or almond milk! One star was knocked off only because I wish I could get some of the bread fresh! They are always cold by the time I purchase.

Grace E.

Yelp
Always have to stop by this bakery whenever I'm in Beaverton, Oregon. The creamy cheesecake and black sesame pastries takes me back when I was in Japan Wished the egg sandwich had more egg filling though to balance with the bread
google avatar

Linh T.

Yelp
As always a delightful visit every time. Whenever I'm in the area, I always try to stop by the bakery. It is a MUST to get the Curry Pan. All others are just as delicious too. The staff are very friendly and can answer any questions you have. Upon arrival, they ask customers to sanitize their hands and put on a glove before grabbing a tray and tong. Ambiance is bright as there are floor to ceiling windows. Seats are limited especially when it can get quite busy. Though most customers come and go. Definitely check this bakery out if you're in the area.
google avatar

Yelp
Been meaning to check out this place and glad i did. Located in Beaverton across from Fred Meyer lots of parking. Huge space with places to sit and counter full of baked goodies. Grab your tray and tongs and pick away! Choco melon pan was good. Egg salad sandwich was killer. Reminded me of Japan

Yelp
Visiting Oregon after 3 years and my first stop for a bite to eat is Oyatsupan bakery. Loved everything However one big disappointment was discovering that they no longer make the Dutch Crunch bread-My favorite thing there.
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
I have a sweet tooth that's home to a cranky Japanese man. I need to satisfy him every once in a while with tasty Japanese treats. I went to Oyatsupan expecting a lot but was left uninspired. The biggest thing that kinda irks me is there's carrageenan in the heavy cream. Maybe this isn't a problem for most Americans who may not know the heavy cream they are buying isn't actually heavy cream, there's a chemical emulsifier derived from seaweed in it that's banned in other countries, deemed unsafe for human consumption. I expect a bakery to use actual cream. I found out about this because I read the label on the food item I bought. Service was nice enough, the cake parfait I ate was pretty tasty, but I don't want carrageenan in my coffee or pastries. Sorry, won't be coming back.

Yelp
Winter's cityside, crystal bits of snowflakes Alphaville in my head and in the wind I had no illusions that I'd ever find A taste of Vanilla Cornet with eyes You did what you did to me Cool Cucumber G&G Here's my review on the road again Things will happen while they can I will Matcha Frangipane tonight It's Kare when you're OYATSUPAN When you're OYATSUPAN, tonight OYATSUPAN, big bite OYATSUPAN, where the Eastern Tonkatsu OYATSUPAN, alright Pay, then I'll eat by your side Think Azuki when you're OYATSUPAN

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp while visiting Portland for the weekend, and made sure to visit even though it was out of the way. It was so good we came back again the next day. We got the egg and cucumber sandwich, curry pan, melon pan, and the katsu curry pan. I wish we could've had the curry pans while they were hot and fresh, but they were still very flavorful and crispy. The melon pan didn't have a ton of flavor, but it was sweet and had a nice texture. The egg and cucumber sandwich was really good, it was so soft and mildly seasoned. Will definitely make my way back here the next time in town.
google avatar

Miki M.

Yelp
I love bread, particularly Asian bread. I grew up eating anpan, cream pan, and melon pan so I knew I had to give my take on this Japanese bakery. I came here when they first opened and coming back after some time, the layout hasn't changed much. It's self-service style where you pick the breads you want with tongs and a tray. This time there were a few new items like the Purple Sweet Potato Twist and Matcha Frangipane Croissant. One gripe I have about this place are their prices. $3 for one bread, when in our similar stores would cost about $1.50-$2.50 seems to be too much. While I can see that they haven't inflated their prices too much, I can't seem to want to frequent this spot. Plus I enjoyed all the breads I ate but nothing too outstanding for me.
google avatar

Eric R.

Yelp
Great pastries and delicious egg sandwich. This was the only place open nearby at 8am so we decided to try it out. This place made my 2 day Oregon trip so much better... driving to the coast eating the pastries and then egg sandwich at the beach topped it off. They had a full selection of delicious looking pastries at opening, and I didn't have to wait. Will definitely come back on my next Oregon visit.

Yelp
This place is sooooo good! But, get there early because apparently everyone already knows that ;) My mom and sister were in town and brought some treats home after exploring (while we were working). They were so good, we had to go back this weekend. Saturday, about an hour before closing, everything was wiped out. To that, I say good for them, and we'll come earlier next time. So we did - on Sunday LOL! Highlights - edamame curry and Kare Pan, croissants with egg, cheese and jalapeño, and a jalapeño hot dog (I haven't tried it) that my husband loves and is the main reason we made the trip in the first place. Lots of great offerings - can't wait to try more. And for myself, I don't love sweets so this place is extra wonderful because there are a ton of creative savory options to try.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
First off the pastries weren't bad. They definitely tasted good, although I kind of think it's not hard to cook with that much butter and sugar and have something taste good. It definitely didn't wow me, but I'd go back just to sample some of the pastries I hadn't tried. Interior layout was definitely a mark against them. There were a lot of negatives, but what really didn't sit right was the interaction of getting your food the paying. You first come in and there's like a big trough of pastries with everyone crowding around it and shoving each other to get in and grab a pastry and to refill the trough the staff have to fight through the selfish pigs, drooling over their chow. Then after fighting off that scene you get to wait in line to pay. After all that if you want to sit inside, good luck cause all the tables were dirty. If it was like a more old school pastry place you could pick out your pastry from the case while waiting in line, which would save time and also the staff could easily access the other side to replenish the supplies. Too gimmicky. Drop the gimmicks and up the baking skill and you'd have a 5 star bakery easily.

Yelp
My sister took us here when we visited. Great place to grab coffee and Japanese pastries. The place is nice and clean! We even got some Japanese sweet jam. They have very unique flavor such as yuzu and red bean. I honestly had a very hard time pick out which pastry to get. They all looked so good! We enjoyed the red bean pineapple buns very much! Even my parents approved. Will def come back

Yelp
I was saddened that the egg salad sandwich didn't have the balance between egg salad and bread, meaning there were bites of only bread! When opened up, it looked like someone put a small circle into a square. The eye-tempting, the couple pastries were on the dry side. The chocolate bun was good and the tonkatsu was all right. Hint is to ask for a freshly made one. Maybe it's the best that there is in Portland but that's why I had to give it only three stars.

Yelp
Love this spot. It is such a vibe and all the pastries are so good. The matcha latte is not sweet at all and the mocha is SUPER sweet . But the pastries, man, the pastries are where it's at.

Yelp
Great pastries - great atmosphere- great service! Our favorite bakery by far! We used to live near this place and missed it when we moved....we make the drive over whenever we get the chance!

Yelp
This is a great spot to get your favorite Japanese pastries, bread, desserts, & sandwiches. They make adorable cakes as well! The service is friendly & the bakery is always very clean & well kept. I also enjoy perusing their prints & other trinkets as well.

Yelp
Sorry for such a late review, but if you are following, I am very behind due to my 6/13/22 SF JapanTown incident, see Yelp. Went out of our way to visit this bakery, as our friends raved about it. OYATSUPAN is a mash-up of two Japanese words, "OYATSU" meaning snack, and "PAN" meaning bread or sweet roll. Quality/Quantity - Good, sorry, missing pictures of everything we bought... Atmosphere - Open 7 days a week from 8am to 3:30pm. Huge space, spacious seating; most people take their pastries to-go. Open kitchen. Plenty of mall parking. Delivery and pick up station. Service - Good; sanitizer and gloves are available right when you walk in. Funny instructions on how to buy, see picture. Senior discount from 8am to 10am Monday to Friday, NO I do not qualify, LOL. Price - Reasonable. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2016.

Yelp
I got the matcha latte and double chocolate melon pan. The pan was quite good but not mind blowing, and the latte was flavorful but I'd highly recommend getting it with sweetener if you don't like bitter tastes. It was a nice little cafe, but it took a long time to get the latte which was a little annoying. I do plan on coming back but I'll try to get one of their more famous pastries.

Yelp
10/10 recommend this bakery!! fresh and delicious goodies and their curry donuts are so good and crunchy! I did not get to try their cheesecake and staff informed me I can order in advance to get matcha cheesecake, and this is Japanese style. Pricing is competitive to 85C bakery but you have to understand too this is a Japanese bakery and a lot of their baked goods are 10/10!! Open till 3pm so once it's out it's out!
